✓ Phonetically terrible for budding readersThis app presents (in the first, free levels) a three-letter word. The letters are scrambled and the goal is to spell the word. First of all, the voice narrating is a robot voice, making it difficult for a young reader to clearly hear the phonetic sound. As you pull the letter up to its correct space, the voice repeats the phonetic sound ("k" "k" "k" for the hard C in cat). When you put it into the correct space, the voice then says the name of the letter ("see") making it hard for a child to learn to blend sounds for reading (is it "k" or "see"?). The voice correctly says the short "a" sound as you pull the A up, but then if you touch the CA already in the word, the voice says, "Kah"(rhyming with the sound a sheep makes). At no point should the sounds CHANGE in the spelling of the word CAT when teaching a new reader, especially from short A to "ah" in the same word!! This happened in each word. FA in fan said "fah," BA in BAT said "bah.".Version: 1.0

✓ Just DON'T BUY!!!I can get spelling toy for the amount I will be paying for this. What!? 3 goes for £5!? Can't believe I paid for 3 goes! Plus for another £5 you apparently get more levels (probably only up to the sea bit) and then you've got to buy more levels I presume. All in all this app could cost you £15. ✓ Great App but....This app is great for educational purposes. But their latest update left older IOS versions in the dust and you can not run the app anymore..Version: 2.3
✓ Expensive, finished in less than 2 hours :(Wow, I just paid £3.99 for this and my kid really enjoyed it, but it's all finished already. I bought it 2 hours ago. For that sort of price I expect wayyyyy more content. Feeling ripped off..Version: 1.0
✓ Not so endlessMy daughter loved the game but once she completed the first 3 levels the add ons were overpriced (£2.99) which is what I paid, it's a shame because the game is quite good. Very easy to complete more levels "coming soon" doesn't specify how long she'll have to wait for them or if I'll have to pay extra for them..Version: 1.0
✓ Beware - parent trapWhile polished, this certainly doesn't offer good value for money. These apps bait you in and prey on well-intentioned parents only to unconscionably charge $10.50 for what amounted to 10 minutes play for my 5yo. Want another few "levels"? $17.90..Version: 2.0
✓ When being scaredHi guys! for the first time I was so scared to finish the entire game I noticed that Eden finished the entire game the resin I was scared is that I didn’t noticed what would happen to the end but when Eden show me the end I was not scared anymore so I am still working to go to the end I didn’t even finish it when i was little and that is all now se you soon!.Version: 3.2
✓ Not helpfulIve enjoyed these apps for my kids for years, I have a 5 year old, a 7 year old and one more on the way; until I needed help from the company. My expansion pack wouldn’t work on my Apple tablet after I had purchased it on my Apple iPhone, same iCloud account, they emailed back and forth for a day basically telling me they don’t understand the problem. I offered the iTunes recipient, visual evidence and even my bank statement. This is disappointing and not a company we’ll continue to purchase from..Version: 3.0
✓ Great app, but too expensive.I'm a kindergarten teacher & I love this app for teaching spelling & phonics. However, every time my son would be ready to unlock a new level, I kept having to pay. I think that $7 is all this app is worth & that's being generous. I paid $7 to unlock a level, thinking he'd have full access to the entire app but no, it was just a level. When he conquered it, I was prompted to spend more money again. That was disappointing. I don't think the skills practiced justify the expense..Version: 2.0

✓ App has potentialNeeds an option to reset back to level one or beginning. As a parent, I try all the games I put on here before my kids get to see it. That being said, can't reset back to original start for my kids. 2... The last letter placed skips the sound being made and goes right into the full word phonetic. 3... Partial phonetics are often wrong... Ie ca in cat is kah... Not kaa. 4... Be nice if images were displayed that match the words aside from the video.Version: 1.0

✓ Waste of moneyUnfortunately my 4 year old likes this app. I do not. I stupidly spent £6+ on it only to discover the levels are short, only consist of 3 letter words, do not increase that much in difficulty and really are not very taxing. And they want £11 + to unlock the next part of the app 😤🤬. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! It crashes too frequently (and Thant’s on a brand new 7th gen device running the latest iOS. There are far better apps out there and cheaper ones too..Version: 3.0

✓ Can’t ShareI paid for this app so all levels would be unlocked, only to discover it only gets unlocked on the iPad you purchased it on. App says it supports family sharing, but only the free version, which is useless. Don’t get sucked in like I did. ✓ Awesome idea but teaches the wrong sounds.Little things throughout the app are incorrect which makes for big confusion for a new reader. For instance, L says "luh" but it should say "uhl" and f says "fa" but it should say "fff". The worst of it though is when a word is halfway complete. If you are working on "wig" and put the first two letters up, the machine says "we". Then when you add the g then it says "wig". Same format for many other words. When working on "fin" if you put the first two letters up she says "fee". This is confusing and totally inaccurate. If they work out these kinks this app would be totally totally awesome. As is, it's something I have to play with him to catch and correct the frequent errors..Version: 2.0
