✓ Would be great, with no bugsThe game itself is great, 5 stars all the way. however i paid $15 for the season pack only to play episode 2 and have “this choice is blank” when faced with the next thing i say. literally every box says that. now you can pick one of the boxes and it’ll say something random but that is incredibly annoying because it might not be what you wanted to say. not that you can even know what you want to see because you can’t see the options anyway… i wanted to play for nostalgia, and if you’re the same, or just want to play for the first time, i recommend holding off on buying the pack until they fix the bugs..Version: 1.6
✓ UnplayableDon't bother with this game. It currently suffers major issues which make it unplayable. The game is core focused on dialogue, but most of the time the choices appear as "THIS CHOICE IS BLANK" making it impossible to decide. Additionally, sometimes, characters won't speak at all, stopping the story as the scene will not advance. There are no fixes for these bugs for us, we have to wait for telltale to fix the issues. The core gameplay and narrative is great. however, there’s re visual glitches that leave large, ugly shadow artefacts around the screen at times, and also in Episode 2 I’m encountering a lot of dialogue moments where every option says “This choice is blank!” - as if the developers didn’t write any information in that dialogue option, so I don’t know what I’m about to ‘say’ as the player. This problem is rife throughout the second episode which means it’s dramatically damaged the gameplay, given it’s about choosing what to say to people. ✓ 5 stars then down to 2I loved loved loves this game right up until episode 4. All episodes prior were great the storyline was brilliant and then comes episode 4 and the glitches. I'm not sure if it's just for me or others, I'm playing on an iPhone 5 and several times sounds don't play, sounds that are plot essential (eg. A car horn) and sounds are played in the wrong place (eg. The sound of Walkers banging on a door are playing when walking through a forest). And sometimes characters pop out of existence. And the one that made me right this review is when a hold and swipe function doesn't work (It's to open a tent curtain) and the button is out of place and jerky on the screen and just doesn't work even when doing what the instructions say. 5 star rating from episode 1-3 then episode 4... Not only this, but another bug that's been around for years — which also happened in TWAU and is now happening for me in TWD2 — is where there is no voice audio. So a scene just plays through and everything else functions perfectly fine except that none of the characters are saying their lines. ✓ You forgot one ep(5)!!!Okay so I just downloaded eps 2-4 and I wasn’t able to download ep 5 and when I tried to the game just kicked me out. I turned off my device to see if that was some sort of problem and apparently it still happened. If you can and have time dev/devs, please go back on ep 5 and fix the downloading as soon as possible, cuz I really do deeply indeed wanna play season 2 of TWD Clementine, the other eps do indeed seem okay I guess. Please Dev/Devs, read my review and fix this problem cuz I didn’t waste 15 dollars for no reason. I believe that there will be a way and take time on doing it, just not too long I hope. ✓ Use caution! Major bug.I really enjoy these games but the big problem is that the developer no longer supports them so if there’s a problem you are on your own! Sometimes the sound and subtitles won’t work and when you have to make a decision it’ll display “this choice is blank” and you are left guessing what your choices are. ✓ Downloads not working.I love these games and the story is just amazing. Though I have one issue. I cant play the rest of the game because every time without fail, when I try to install the next episodes I’ve bought, it says “Network unavailable”. I know this seems like a simple fix, but this is the only application which it says such a thing. My wifi is amazing and works on every device on every app so it’s not my internet connection. ✓ LOVED the game, MAJOR ISSUES.Alright so Ep 1 of Season 2 I have 0 problems with but as I begin Ep 2 the game begun to bug out , from my responses not working on into the choices just being flat out BLANK. And for a loupe game that was 15$, only for it to not work as intended is a complete and utter RIP OFF, so until this is fixed I’ve disputed a claim for a full refund . There are changes in game play that are poorly explained at the start. There are also number of selection options that fall outside the regular view. I have LOVED the game so far, I NEVER bother writing reviews but after the last cliff hanger and how amazing the last episode was this feels like a major let down. Hopefully the next one will be filled with more action, less rushed and more interesting story lines and better graphics.
