✓ Used to be good now it’s so badI used to use athan pro a lot and used things like pre athan and it always used to get the athan on time and it had a good interface but since like last year the prayer times are off BY A WHOLE HOUR and more in amman. i also told my friends about this app and after like a whole year one of my friends who used it he always prayed on the wrong time and i noticed and i told him that athan is in an hour and he showed me it said on this app the athan has finished a while ago so it’s really unacceptable. A WHOLE HOUR!!, also not to mention the huge ton of ads that pop up everytime i try to click something on the app!.Version: 8.4.1
✓ Good but also disappointingThis app is very good and has extremely precise prayer times even without turning location on. I was very impressed until I saw the amount of things that you have to pay for. I think it’s unreasonable that you make people pay to see the prayer times for the next day as well as many other features on the app. Also there are too many ads, every time I go into the app an ad pops up. ✓ Adhan options gone from paid appSo now after the latest update the Adhan options are all moved to premium. This is a feature I had on my paid version. This is a forced upgrade when I have already paid for the app with a certain feature. You are deceiving people. Edit: the developer does not even understand the complaint. Seems to be just copy/pasting the same response to everyone. My complain above is that all of the different Adhan from different muazzin except one are moved to premium. When I paid for this app earlier I had paid for all those different Adhan. How can you take that away once someone has paid for it. Understand the issue for Allah’s sake..Version: 7.2
✓ Has PotentialI think this app is really nice in terms of aesthetics, but it’s pretty glitchy and doesn’t have a ton of features that are worth paying for. It didn’t really have anything special for Ramadan which would have been nice. I think a fasting and/or salah tracker would be really useful. Also, my calculation method kept resetting and the widget seems to be having an issue now that we’re in a new month. Additionally, the WhatsApp stickers won’t export properly. Not sure if that’s an issue with this app, my phone, or WhatsApp. I submitted a couple of tickets about some issues I noticed in the app a few weeks ago and never heard back. For an app that I’m paying for monthly, I’d expect to see far fewer errors. I canceled my subscription for now. Hoping the app improves in the future!.Version: 8.0.3
✓ Fix these Bugs!!!!!I have been using this app for over an year now. This app is full of bugs!! I thought eventually there will be updates to fix these bugs. But haven’t got any updates which fix these issues. One of the most annoying bug is that The Athan is inconsistent. It starts but stops in the middle, Then when you unlock the phone after one or two hours later, it starts from there. And sometimes there are 3-4 Athans at once. YOU REALLY NEED TO FIX THESE ISSUES. YES, I WENT TO SETTINGS AND DID WHAT I SUPPOSED TO DO!! Now it’s YOUR TURN to GET A BETTER DEVELOPER for this App!!!!! People don’t just pay for some BS app like this. And the price of the full premium version is not cheap either. I paid that amount so that I can get better features with NO BUGS!! ✓ Stopped workingI have this application for few years now, got it for free, I did 2 upgrades, and kept loosing the features that I paid for, as they created more upgrades to make more money, the developers are about money. ✓ New to appAlhamdulliah almost very accurate with prayer times using location and love the way it updates the time itself daily without manually having to do anything. But abit confused why sometimes I get full athan and other times I get buffering Athan at prayer times where there’s a considerable pause between each sentence of the Athan when I’m at same place all day. If I could get an answer how to fix the problem, would be great full and also noticed when Athan comes on and you want to stop it while your out or in middle of something, pressing any button stops it but the Athan returns again within a minute. ✓ UnreliableAbsolutely unreliable. It plays the full azan but only whenever it feels like. It skips the prayers. In the last 2 days, it has not played 3 or 4 azans. Defeats the purpose of having the app if i have to grab my device, unlock it, get to the app and check if it is time for prayer. The app is supposed to tell me its time for prayer. ✓ They have changed!!!Everything now, most of the wall paper, all the athan sounds that were available before, now they are locked you have to pay to get them. They become greedy, even the changes in the app are not that big and useful. They only banned all the athan sounds, and just make five of them available!!!! We all want to make money but only in a halal manner, you guys did okay and it’s a very good app but you ruined everything by falling so much in the love of money. ✓ Money makersWhat an absolute money making scheme! Downloaded it as I wanted to check prayer times on my Apple Watch and they block out certain salah times as it is a premium feature. I wanted to check the time for Maghrib, while it was Asr time and it was blocked off?!?! Is this how you sell your premium features? This again is on top of adverts. I understand trying to make money off the app, but how can you try an up-sell the most basic feature, which is the prayer time. Uninstalled right away. “Athan” app is a lot better. ✓ Well made app BUTVery well made app but my issues are 1) I am in the 🇬🇧 & time settings went by North America 🤔 🇺🇸 doesn’t dictate 🤲 times, it should be 🇸🇦 if anything. ✓ Qibla Direction Compass rose incorrectI’ve been using Pro Athan for few years now. It’s very good and accurate until recently there Qibla Direction Finder is incorrect in terms of its Compass Rose. The Pointer points to correct Qibla Direction but the Compass Rose with respect to W/E/N/S are completely opposite in directions. I’m very disappointed that after several emails to the support team, there has NOT been any initiative taken by the App Developers to correct this. We’ve paid for these services but fundamentally our salaat should be in correct direction of the Qibla; especially important to those who travel around the world and may not have any idea where the true directions are plus the correct direction of the Qibla. This misleads a momin. Just a note: I use an ios iPhone X and I’m not sure if this is a result of the iOS software update.... nonetheless, Athan Pro has been notified on numerous occasions and to me it looks like they’ve totally disregarded to correct this. ✓ Was good until ..I downloaded this app initially due to it’s good reviews, very friendly interface and availability of an apple watch app. Personally, I only need the prayer times and qibla direction sometimes, that’s it! That’s why I’ve been only using the free version. Recently, I noticed the app has been gradually trying really hard to make the customers pay for the full version, by adding an add for example that would block me from viewing the full daily prayer times. It was irritating, but I was patient.. However, now that Ramadan started and the app got updated to a new interface, it became very obvious that the developers just want us to pay no matter what! Some prayer times have been BLOCKED from viewing from the watch! Unless I purchase the premium version! Also, an add wall appears just by simply OPENING the app! And you have to wait until the add has finished to view the contents. In my honest opinion, that’s a very cheap move by the developers.. If you want us to pay for the app so bad then might as well ask for it from the get go instead of offering this useless “free version”. Or maybe just offering a free trial until you have to pay. ✓ Was a 5 star but I now use another app.This used to be a great app but it suddenly took away the full 5 time prayer time table from the widgets screen on ipad pro and Apple watch. Now you can only see 2 or 3 prayer times on the full screen instead of the full 5 like before! Why change it? ✓ Unacceptably InaccurateI’ve seen many people complain that the timings were inaccurate before installing this app. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt because I really like your Quran Pro app. However, when I first installed the app, I noticed that the most crucial prayers for fasting, fajir and maghrib, were off by 1-2 minutes. The other day I noticed that asr prayer was off by a total of 4 minutes. And now, fajir prayer is off by TEN minutes. This is just unacceptable. It’s a shame because the app’s design and interface is really good. However, looks aren’t everything. The core function of the app is completely off. This is why I’m giving this one star. I regret buying premium, because I will be uninstalling this app. Please use the money I paid, and that many others have probably paid, to fix this problem. If this issue is fixed, I’d gladly reinstall the app again. UPDATE: Just reopened the app before uninstalling, and it updated the prayer times so fajir prayer is now off by one minute instead of ten. However, still incorrect and I find it unreliable. It shouldn’t go off by 10 minutes because I haven’t opened the app in a couple of weeks. And it’s not correct in the first place..Version: 6.44
✓ App not working appropriatelyAssalamu alaykum Talking about this application is little confusing.. The app was very good when I had an iPhone 4 but when I upgraded to the iPhone 6s+ the became wired: sometimes the AZAN calls sometimes no especially Athan for Fajr which I have to open right before the Time about 10 mn otherwise It won’t call, sometimes it’s Dorh sometimes it’s ASR which doesn’t call. Another issue is that I purshased same app for my wife on her iPhone 8+, with my credit card, I was charged for the regular app and when I upgraded to the professional one I was supposed to be charged for the difference between them but you guys charged me for the regular and the professional one both. which made it $24 for one application. Unfortunately this is one of the worst app I ever had for azan. I have now the iPhone 12+ but the app looks like it’s not running all the time, I still have to open it for the azan to call, and when I adjusted the time for any prayer time the app doesn’t hold it, I still have to open the app and adjust it again. Now, not only have those widgets stopped working, but the widgets on the iPhone itself have stopped working as well. It tells me the reason I no longer have access to the widgets is because I do not have premium, but I DO. I repeatedly restored my purchases in the app (the app even confirmed I have premium in settings), I tried deleting and re-installing the app, and I tried restarting my phone. None of these work. I essentially wasted my money. I will be deleting this app and never looking back. This is not the first time something like this has happened. ✓ Developers are more concerned with making $No matter how good the UI and functionality of the app is, it has always been plagued for being a monetary black hole. A few versions ago I decided I would support the developers by getting premium because I enjoyed using the app. But getting premium doesn’t really mean anything. They will retract services whenever they come up with a new “premium” in-app purchase package. In the latest update release they claimed to have migrated my premium from the previous version. But yesterday I lost access to my watch complications. It says I have to re-buy premium to get them back. I’m tired of this. Go and download Athan Utility instead. ✓ Be Careful ! Full Azan is Disabled in new update.Be Careful before New Ramadan Update because these Developers has DISABLED full Azan just a day before Ramadan in free version. After new Ramadan Update, not only full Azan not working but also notifications are not working properly. Sometimes get only half line, sometimes nothing. ✓ Used to be greatThis was my favorite Athan app until the recent update. Now, every time I open the app, an ad stops me which I have to close to continue. The same happens if I go to a different page within the app. Additionally, though there is a place to rate the app from within, it is strangely the only button that does not work... The developers have taken what used to be a simple, accurate and easy app and turned it into a slow annoying one like all other for-profit (not for-the-Prophet) apps. It’s a shame. ✓ Sometimes it works ... sort ofThis is one of the worst app! Azan plays sometimes from the beginning and then stops after couple of lines. Then it might pickup around the end. ✓ Disappointed as a paid memberAs a premium member of this app, it was going well up until recent weeks. I used to rely on this app for Athan and Quibla directions. But two problem started for which I emailed the developers multiple times but no one bothered to respond back. First, the Juristic is attached to the location setting. I follow Hanafi school of thought. Each time my location changes the setting needs to be manually updated to set it to Hanafi. This was truly annoying but I started to live with it. As off couple of days ago now the location doesn’t work properly. Either I have to set the location manually or the app ends up picking the location it felt like it, thus my timings are messed up. Both info were mailed to the developers via app, and the X platform but needless to say no one had any reactions. I paid for the app and this is the support look like. Very sad. So I am going to ditch this app for something better - Apple Shortcuts using which I can now generate my own timings at the location I am at using API. This type of app is no longer needed for which I can’t get even simple support. I installed this app for a few family members but now I will remove all of those and will install Apple Shortcuts that will help everyone the right way..Version: 8.4.1
✓ Prayer time issue using widgetIf you have prayer times adjusted to your local mosque it doesn’t correspond to the widget. Turning background refresh on doesn’t resolve this issue. Also the paid app forces you to choose between dynamic wallpapers and still wallpapers. If you opt for dynamic wallpaper you will not get the widget feature. If you want both, you will have to pay £12+ which is silly for an app that tells you the time for prayers..Version: 7.7.8
✓ So much potential wastedI paid for the app to get full athan and other features yet nothing changes even after updating and restoring the purchase several time. This is unacceptable yet I was willing to deal with it because I liked the apple watch features it gave me which no other athan app has so far. But unfortunately I was also unable to adjust the settings on the calculation methods. Everytime I switch from standard to Hanafi it switches back. Or when I try to change from ISNA to something else, there is no other option to select the right method. Cannot even change the calculation method to be correct! I waited and downloaded updates and eventually deleted it because it still didn’t work. Shame because I really liked the apple watch features. Where are the other Athans I have had in the past now it’s only Mishary Rashid Al Afasy, Faith Seferagic, Madina and one Athan for Fajr. But the list goes on, unfortunately it’s locked because again I have to pay to get them back. I don’t get why you do this are you not earning enough through this app and all the other apps you have lined up? After all it’s an Islamic app if you charge people charge them little and only once don’t make new useless price plans which are just ridiculous. You will be loosing so many who have been using your app because what you do isn’t right many have complained previously more and more the number is increasing. ✓ Terrible appTerrible app. Keeps changing calculation settings back to default automatically without warning. Takes along time to open playing a useless animation , very annoying when you want to quickly check the time . Plays annoying , and sometimes inappropriate, ads each time it is opened. The most important thing for a prayer times app is to get the time right and quickly display that and this can’t do this basic task. whenever you travel to a new area or it updates it loses all settings and reverts to its default calculation which can really upset ones schedule especially for fasting..Version: 8.0.4
✓ Needs fixing & improvementsNice app, has lots of potential but the developers need to fix the following glitches and then release an update to resolve the following technical issues: 1. The “Calculation Methods” is set for “North America” by default and it allows a manual selection but it gos back to the default settings. 2. Similarly the “Juristic” default setting is set for “Shafii Hanbali and Maliki” and it allows a manual selection to “Hanafi” but it gos back to the default settings. If I’m changing the default setting to a different option such as “Muslim World League” or “ Hanafi” then the app should be smart enough to accept my selection and don’t force or revert to the factory default “North America” and “Shafii Hanbali and Maliki” Also lately, when I go to settings to change from default to my selection, the app freezes and I have to re-launch it. If the technical team could resolve the above issues then this App will deserve a 5 Star rating and I would recommend it to all my friends, family and contacts but for now, I’m only giving it a 3 Star. ✓ Way too many ads, prayer times are off, and some bugsFirst off let’s talk about the ads. Every single press on the screen makes an ad pop up. It’s so irritating and makes the app borderline unusable. There should only be one ad, and that’s when first opening the app. Next, the prayer times. They are not accurate. I notice this specifically for asr prayer. According to other devices in the house, asr is around 6 pm but on this app, it’s 5 pm. The main bug I noticed is linked to the previous issue. I change the juristic calculation method from “shafii hanbali and maliki” to “hanafi” but it always seems to change back by itself. Don’t know when it does this but it does. I just prayed asr at the wrong time because of this. These issues are a shame because the app is beautiful, doesn’t take up too much space, and has useful features. But the annoyances and bugs are making me consider other apps, which I am going to do now..Version: 8.2.6
✓ They put previously free features behind paywall DURING RAMADANI have to agree with another recent reviewer, Subhanallah, it is extremely disappointing that an Islamic app is developed in this manner. Let me explain: After the initial Ramadan update (7.0), I had to pay AGAIN for "Pro" version e.g. ads removal. I didn't even mind that much but then came to find out that the full athan playback had broken. Just when I was about to reach out to the devs regarding that loss of functionality, they released v7.2, which claimed that "full athan... has been restored." Well, the restoration is not complete because now there is only ONE option for athan reciter, where previously several were available. It turns out all other reciters are still available, but now I have to pay over $10 just to unlock selecting them! Again, DURING RAMADAN is when this change occurred! And keep in mind, I have already paid for "pro" features TWICE. I'm afraid I can only describe this behavior as greedy and deceitful. ✓ Full Adhan feature back, BUT...As Salamu Alaikum I had purchased the pro version of this app a couple of years ago, with the choice of many Adhan’s , to set for my five prayers, but now it’s not letting me select the same as before. ✓ Unbelievable Incorrect TimingsMy father and I had a small disagreement about the timing for Maghrib, and he uses Muslim Pro while I was using this app. Turns out, after checking multiple sources, the time on Athan Pro was off by almost 30 minutes! I could not believe they allow for such inaccurate prayer times, especially during the crucial time of Ramadan. I had purchased the upgraded version (which gives you the perk to contact customer support), and I could not receive any reply or messages. It’s greatly disappointing to spend so much money on an app to support it, but it fails very short of the basic necessities that I downloaded the app for (namaz times). Please fix this! I instead use Muslim Pro again, and I wished I had not spent any money on this app..Version: 7.7
✓ Location App IssuesUnfortunately, since the last update, the app does not update prayer times automatically when you move to a different location. You have to physically open the app on the iOS device for prayer times to update on the iOS device and the watch complication. What’s even more frustrating is that the juristic method changes when the location changes which leads to an an inaccurate pray time for Asr. Disappointingly, although having paid for the premium package, the developers haven’t acknowledged the issue despite me raising it to them on numerous occasions. Certainly will advise to look elsewhere for a reliable prayer times app especially if you travel to different locations if you are going to pay for the premium..Version: 8.0.3

✓ Good widget and communicationI had an issue with this app after buying an upgrade, i contacted them and they replied straight away and restored my purchase and emailed several times to answer my queries so impressed. Apple doesn’t allow full athan so don’t expect that unfortunately but that’s not the creator’s fault. Apple have put a limitation on that. So there is no full athan function, when activated it creates multiple banner alerts for the same prayer and it doesn’t even play for 30 seconds continuously it stops starts etc. I don’t know if it’s just this app or other prayer apps that have this issue. The widget is great and I still get beep alerts for athan to notify me of prayers.Version: 7.7.8
✓ Could use with some thingsThis app is amazing and I love using it but it could definitely use some updates. - a feature for women for when they can’t pray -count salah and have a small reward like a game for every hundred or so times that you pray - maybe in Ramadan you can have a dress booklet or something similar or a fasting tracker If you do these things then I would definitely recommend to friends.Version: 8.3.2
