✓ Good toolThis app is a great tool for jazz enthusiasts. I have the prior two and this one is another step up with more tracks. The layout and usage of this app is well done and it looks great on my tablet. I still love the recording right to my iPad..Version: 1.3
✓ Major faultActually love the session band apps - I know they are trying to cover a LOT of ground but it is frustrating at times that there is no simple major chord among(st) the chord types given - quite a few jazz tunes use them surprisingly - but perhaps this is a minor gripe [heh] For quickly sketching a piece for later reflection n amendment an ideal aide memoire.Version: 1.3
✓ Great.....andI have all the SessionBand collection , the quality is superb, easy to use, if only you could import into Logic as separate tracks for further editing etc....this is what the mac OS X needs big time, easier than Band in a box , better for mac .....ok...mac version of SessionBand ?! ✓ LearningI love the three jazz apps. I do virtually all my oractice with them. But they do crash alot. Wish there were a wider choice of chords though..Version: 2.3
✓ Not badNot a bad practise tool. The sounds are great and well recorded/played. I never use the top line as it is repetitive and a bit redundant as I am a guitarist, but might be fine for some. It's a bit tricky to get your head around, especially if you try to do your own progressions, but I managed it after two pints (which is how time is measured in my life). There could be more chordal variations, but we might get that in an update (hint hint!)..Version: 1.3
✓ Great sound, limited functionalityI purchased volumes 1,2 and 3 thinking that this app would be an improvement over the iReal Pro app in terms of play along sound quality. As far as sound goes, this app is excellent, however, it's missing some very fundamental cords and can't perform slash-cords either. This app has great potential but needs some updates..Version: 2.0
✓ Awesome, butYou still need a minor 6 chord. Fabulous app, but the minor 7 b5 sub is getting old. Still, wouldn't trade it in, these apps are nearly perfect. Now, about that minor 6....Version: 1.3
✓ More pleaseThanks guys, my favourite Jazz apps (1, 2 and 3) now have Audiobus 3 compatability with latest update. Any more jazz apps being developed? Jazz 4 please! The edit mode could be a bit slicker in order to help build up long tracks, but otherwise nicely put together. A 2 bar count in option would be useful especially on tracks with fast bpm..Version: 2.4
✓ Great but needs some things fixedThis is a great app, but it could use some updates that would make it better. 1) add a min 6 chord option 2) be able to open saved tunes in all three volumes. What a pain it is to make the same song 3 times because you can only hear a couple of options in each volume. 3) Have more chord options. Ex. 7(#5b9), 7(b5b9), Dim7. Overall, this app is wonderful. I just hope you can add these changes by updating the app and not come out with volume 5million for every little change..Version: 1.3

You can also customize many elements like drums, bass, piano, trumpet, and beats per minute to create anything you can imagine. It sounds beautiful, and should be part of every jazz musician's app collection..Version: 1.3
✓ RecommendHave already bought the other 2 jazz apps from Sessionband and have been very pleased. This version equally as good. Sounds are hi quality and performances exceptional. ✓ Fantastic!This is like a cross between iReal Pro and Band in a Box with real tracks. I love the sound of BiaB with real tracks but it isn't convenient to have the computer all of the time. This fills in the gap and gives me the better sound quality I'm missing from iReal..Version: 2.0
✓ Keeps getting better!The SessionBand apps are so awesome and volume 3 of the jazz app is no exception. With more styles and more tracks there is even more value than the previous version. You can go wrong with this app if you are a jazz musician..Version: 1.3
