✓ Mind changed...... great game!When I first started playing this game I gave it one star, because I do not think I gave it a chance. Now though after playing it for a few I have changed my mind, because the game got more involved. So if your just starting out it will be a challenge, but it will get better quickly I promise, and once established you should enjoy it more too. ✓ Highly recommendedThe game is a great time killer if you are looking for something to do that doesn’t take much time. However it is also full of things if you want to sit down and take some time playing a game, there is much to do. The daily and event quest keeps the game lively and the grind alive even if it seems to come to a halt. Collecting the characters and finding all the fun abilities is a blast. The only complaint is once you hit a certain point, collecting those final pieces to characters seems to take days unless you pay real money. Which don’t get me wrong, all about supporting the devs, but If you don’t feel like dumping money into the game, it’s going to take you a while. Despite the slow mid/later grind, the game is amazing fun with so much to do, even without getting those specific pieces. ✓ Nice game but problemsThis is a great game don’t get me wrong but all the characters are kind of the same for example Rogar and the yellow one of him. (Sorry I cant think of his name right now) Both of them have the same abilities and look the same . It seems that you guys have run out of ideas for new characters. You guys also haven’t done a lot with the campaign it’s been the same since the game kinda started. All in all it’s a great games but if you guys could get more ideas (for example you could add a character that rides like a hog or horse and then once the rider dies it’s up to the horse and the rest of the team.) I don’t know that’s just what I thought and the game gets boring after time because of things like no new campaign and the same ideas for characters just one is water and the other is fire. ✓ The Daily QuestThis is a great game. Started playing years ago, got good, and kept coming back, even if I left for a hitch in the road. 10/10. I would absolutely recommend this. One thing, however, That irks me is the daily quest system. They were quite simple, but then, after a short change, required certain items, such as keys, to complete. This slowed down my gameplay, as I was trying to get the epic weapons, and since I was in a guild that required you to complete all dailies, I couldn’t keep up unless I grinder. ✓ YeahFrom the for minute I started the game, to this very second, I’ve had such an incredible experience. The art style is very attention grabbing, for new players, and sets itself apart from many of the newer rpg games that have similarities to this game. The game does a good job at making so many interesting tiny Easter eggs (if you classify them as such) and details that give this quirky vibe to the game. Starting the game, there were really cool characters that were out of reach, and it was almost implied that, you could get and have fun with if you put the time into. This game does a good job to give “power” to the consumer, basically not having to pay for everything. Of course, you pay to speed up progress you will get on your own time but, it doesn’t feel like a pay wall (which many other games have) which is really nice! There’s plenty of bugs, but I think that it helps with the vibe of quirky that the game presents itself as (and devs are generous with the rewards). Basically, Dungeon Boss gives a lot while not asking much, and every time I come back, there’s something new. There’s many characters to choose from, and with their investment in creating “factional benefits” you can create cool synergies. ✓ Why and pleaseWhy did you nerf the most powerful character in the game? Players are quite fond of his name which is igorok. I just recently got him and I was like, “OMG! I actually got him!” I tested him out and he was absolutely horrible. I leveled him all the way up and gave him runes and leveled up all of his skills and he was still bad. Actually I was exiting a dungeon with him and a caption said that he had the most damage and the most health in the game and I know for a fact that that’s a little bit of a lie. My Jin lei is better than him. And I’m begging. PLEASE PLEASE take him back to being magical, tank, and monster. Or at least give me tokens to get him to 2 or three star. ✓ Very addicting and vibrant gameplaySimple to pick up, especially if you’ve ever played a turn based RPG. Collecting the unique and colorful characters and leveling them up was great fun. One suggestion I have is that having collectible items would make the game a whole lot deeper, but there is enough content here to last anyone a good while. It’s a blast, worth all of the extra download time after initial installation. I almost gave up on it because the extra installation took like 15 minutes for some reason. ✓ There’s a problemBoss fight I think there’s something that needs to Change about tower of pwnage and dungeon raids. The defenders get to have all there ability’s ready while the attackers don’t, I’m losing to people 400 power lower than me and I know I can beat them but there charged abilities is one makes me lose. ✓ Amazing game, But One Big Flaw.Now, when I first got this I absolutely loved it, it was my favorite game ever. Although it still is an amazing game, that really does’t matter anymore because of what happened to me. One day I was just playing the game, enjoying everything about it, the graphics, the gameplay, the levels, the hero’s, and more, then I turned it off to do something. Then, the next time I came on to play, it said “Error failed to connect to server. Check your connection and try again. Press OK to retry.” So, I checked my connection, it was just fine, and all my other games were working. Ever since then, I couldn’t and still can’t play the game I loved. ✓ Stop hating on Devs and the gameLove this game! I have been playing it for quite a while now, and now I see how interesting this game is. The developers are constantly updating and improving their game. There are so many different runes, heros, and possibilities in the game. It’s great to pass the time, and they even it out even if people are “pay to wins”. It doesn’t even matter if you pay, because you have to be a certain level to unlock advanced items. The directions could be more clear, but the game is really easy to figure out. It’s multiplayer, and you can even play with friends, so it’s fun for everybody. ✓ PerfectionThis is by far my favorite mobile game. I hadn’t played it in over two years, but I have come back to it and absolutely love it. Boss Fight Entertainment has done a wonderful job of keeping the game interesting through updates; however, this game is very hard to progress through without spending money to gain items more easily. Also, gold runs out very quickly because the cost of keeping the important heroes maxed is very expensive. Along with that, I believe that there should be more options for who to battle when it comes to PVP. Overall, I love this game, and I can’t describe it, but when I remember when I used to play it many years ago, I get a feeling of nostalgia and feel fondness towards the game. ✓ Amazing!!This game is genuinely a must-play, and you really are missing out if you haven’t played it yet. Its unique trait system allows people to easily make synergies. The ascension system adds in the small amount of grinding while still being great. And there are even more countless features. Dungeon Boss is updated often enough to be fun, and the events that appear during holidays and special occasions are cool. The daily events also adds in that difference between each day. New characters come in every once in a while, and they almost always are balanced. The overall design of everything in the games are amazing too. I love the pixelated designs that somehow don’t resemble other pixelated games much. The customer support is great too! Once, the creators took the idea of a fan-made character, and actually put it in the game!! (Jibber Clenchjaw) However, the game can become very unbalanced. Late-game, the battles in campaign get extraordinarily hard, and has caused me to restart several times, each time getting to about levels 60-80... ✓ Game is great some recent bugsThe game over all is fun for people who like to grind out and loot. The PvP team vs team raid is also something you can do to grind out for end of season rewards. The campaign is fun and is perfect for those people wanting to solo play. Over all I really love this game it fits my personal preference for games. (BUGS for developers) Although there are some bugs that need work on. I recently found one where if you are in a online match, if Miko, The marvellous clones someone. For example if he clones Emperor Zullkod, if the original Zullkod on my team banishes the clone it bugs out the game and the next teammate to attack on your team can’t attack because you are stuck on the banished screen and no one is there to attack. (Took long enough) it should have never EVER been a thing. Old review begins here and is still mostly relevant: Where do I begin. One update which seemed cool for 30 minutes then you realize the things they removed from the game. Removing celestial evos from both dungeon shop and pwn shop. The removed hero tokes from there as well. You need hero STARS to ascend now (which can only be gained in a SUPER rare chance in the heroic portal).. which also takes $$$. They took away every means possible to play for free and progress slowly. You WILL NOT progress enough to be remotely competitive any more unless you pay tens even hundreds of dollars. 100$ for a 6* hero (1 of nearly 60) on a ftp mobile game?! Seriously guys? That’s the cost of two AAA games for ONE hero... that isn’t ascended. You’ll need to pay for ascension later. This game was fun. ✓ Best game, best developer support!Like others I have played this of and on for years to the point that I’ve deleted the game because I briefly needed a break and thought wrongly that it had nothing else to offer and I always come back snd starting over which has meant paying for things more then once. This may sound (and is) ridiculous on several levels. This is the one and only game I’ve ever (or ever will) done this. If you don’t have tons of money for games this game is for you. It offers real bonuses for completing tasks as an individual or group. The group aspect isn’t unique to this game as most gamers know but no other game fosters the group dynamic like this game. The events offer great rewards and the events are not once every so often but all the time, in fact events often overlap. So many games want the following this game has but to my knowledge no game has a better developer player relationship than this. I’ve never had a problem with in game issues not once and that dedication to the players is unmatched. This game is worth the time whatever amount of time you want to put in you will enjoy this. And to the developers and the support staff the 4th anniversary event and the rewards are above and beyond whatever anyone could expect proving how much you value players. Thanks! ✓ Totally RecommendedAt least 3 years ago I found this game, and I tried it out, I was really, really impressed. At least a few months later I wanted to start over, I did, and it wasn’t the same. So I kept doing it until I just gave up, and a few weeks ago I found it had a new update. So I tried it again, and I’m addicted, now for the people who are complaining about beings noobs: Get good, find an organized team, a team you’re HAPPY with, spend your gems SOMETIMES, and sometimes don’t. ✓ Great!I started playing this a year or two ago, got bored, and had to delete it to save space on my device. I re downloaded it, and actually became good because I knew what I was doing this time. Now, all of these people complain about characters being too strong, and then everybody else is mad about them being nerfed and less useful. Sure, you spent a few weeks getting the evos to ascend this amazing hero. Sure, they nerfed it a week later. But what would happen if every single person had the exact same team of the same heroes as everybody else? Characters are made weaker for a reason, to balance gameplay, not to make you frustrated. Anyway, I love how you almost never run out of raids or dungeons to run, and can always have some sort of goal. The events keep gameplay new and surprising. New heroes get released at a good rate, and getting gems isn’t too hard or too easy. The few things I’d like to see is maybe a trading system between you and your friends, in case you just need that one last Arcane Evo to ascend Solaris, and also a way to break down evos, like the opposite of combining. You would be able to break a Monarch into ten sprites, and celestial into the evos they are made of. Great game :).Version: 0.5.10010

✓ Good but lots of bugsThe game itself is really good, very fun, and can be done pretty easily while spending no money (if you’re willing to grind a little bit). There are tons of bugs though, for example a character called Agnon can turn people into stone, but another character that has an ability called ethereal spirit, can’t die while they have that effect, so if agnon makes an ethereal spirit into stone, it’s an infinite loop and whoever has agnon just has to give up. Another bug is that the filter heroes option just plain doesn’t work at all, no matter what option you choose it won’t filter the heroes. There are plenty more little bugs and quality of life changes that could be made, but other than those it’s a pretty good game..Version: 0.5.15207

✓ ReviewPersonally, I like the game. U can grind a lot, grow and ascend your heroes, lvl them up, and just get more stuff. But I feel like the downfall is how much work u have to put in just to ascend one legendary hero. And if u are trying to make a team of beasts, undead, or anything else, it takes triple that time. So the request is that I hope getting celestial evos and monarchs will be a little easier in the future. Right now I it takes me about 2 - 3 weeks just to ascend one hero once. Or maybe like make Heroic summons a little harder to get and make evos a little easier to obtain so it balances out. But u no, overall it is a fun game that u can interact with guild mates and get tokens, loot dungeons, gain trophies and during events inevitably get awesome rewards. The bugs I have experienced have been very minor. And there is a typo where it tells who what the champions does but that about it. Even that this has happened I still love this game. You’re able to progress relatively quickly and consistently. There are always challenges or events to do and they update often. Also, it’s nice to see a game without super greedy developers. ✓ Rare! Game that actually wants you to playMost games, with a similar basis to this one, have an energy bar that lets you play for 5, 10 minutes. After that it’s either (a) you spend money restoring energy or (b) close the app. Those games have a shelf life of a month or so on my phone. Dungeon Boss is completely the opposite. I have never reached a point where my “energy” was at zero because of the many ways in getting more energy. Even without this, there are multiple options of play where energy/stamina is not required. This is a very specific feature of Dungeon Boss, but a good example of how the developers’ intentions are not in-app purchases..Version: 0.5.11796
✓ Love this game! Few kinks though...This game is by far one of my favorite games to play on mobile! Whenever I open my phone, Dungeon Boss is one of the first things I open. Have I raided these dungeons yet? Have I collected my daily reward? Have I opened the great portal? Have I upgraded my heroes? There’s just so much to do! With barely any ads that are optional! It’s incredible! The ONLY thing keeping this from being five stars is a lot of the time I’ll be buying stuff when it tells me “Out of Sync” and I lose my stuff and the gems I spent! Like this just happened with my Jerry tokens... I had spent a bunch of gems on Healer Jerry Tokens when it told me “Out of Sync”, so I reloaded and had lost the gems I spent but didn’t have the Jerry tokens! I also lost the quest reward for having 2 6star heroes... but yeah! Other than that kind of really annoying kink I love this game!.Version: 0.5.13493
✓ Love it But Want a New AdditionThis is a great game and is super fun. From the cool characters and Bosses to the thrill of winning against the big bosses. This is a great game but I would like an upgrade to the my dungeon mode. Playing other players is the best part of the game, however I would like to be able to play my friends and guild members to see how I stack up against them. You rarely find your friends in my dungeon, and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that choosing who you play in pvp would be awesome. Don’t matter type of five star hero you have, level you’re in , Rune you have equipped and most especially if you’ve achieved epic status however, it really should be called “ what epic? ✓ Very AddictiveLet me start with the beginning, the tutorial is quite simple but as your continue on with the game, it becomes for interactive with hidden treasures during every level. Now once done with with your missions or levels you can learn what characters should be used together and find your ultimate dungeon team as you continue during your quest to money and gems. Now once you’ve found your team you can upgrade them and evolve them to become more sovereign and powerful. Now that your team has become the best team anyone could ask for, you dominate each player in pvp mode and take there loot. And if that wasn’t good enough you can start your very own guild and group up with your friends and family to become one of the very best. This concludes my review. ✓ Great game, devs really listen to fan baseOnly game that’s stayed in my phone for years. It’s a fun game with multiple daily things going on. Really deep, can’t even imagine the learning curve for new folks but it’s fun and worth it. Lots of opportunities to spend way too much money but since pvp is only a small portion of the game “pay to win” isn’t too much of a factor. It’s more like “pay if you’re impatient” because everything you can buy you can also eventually earn just by playing the game. They have constant events and updates and listen to their community about concerns when major changes are implemented and many times they put in a “middle ground” patch to kind of meet in the middle between original update and community feedback.
