✓ Good game horribly unfair pvpGood game I like collecting heroes and completing quests. About 70% of my heroes are lvl 70 the rest are 60+. about 60% are 5 star and most fully ascended. My suggestion is to level up 4 to 5 heroes as far as You can. After that the game advances quickly. PvP is FRUSTRATING. Heroes that have been killed and resurrected don’t even miss a turn. Runes must be to complicated for me because they don’t seem to explain all effects, like reflecting your attack on you or how a hero with an attack rating of 5000 can do 1000 points of damage then the same hero with an attack ratting of 3500 can one shot kill you in the next raid. Play long enough and you’ll notice more discrepancies. You’ll beat teams with high ratings, then the next raid a much weaker team will destroy your team..Version: 0.5.9220
✓ New update is terribleI’ve been playing this game for a long time now, roughly 4-5years. Not everyday but here and there, especially when I go away. It’s always been so much fun, but this new update is terrible, it wrecked the whole game. You get like 8 gems for completing the tower, but before it was 250, pvp’s shop isn’t great either now, same with the towers shop. I haven’t played much since it happened - because it’s bad. ✓ Every release gets more annoyingI’ve been playing this game for a little over a year now. I really loved it at first, but the developers seem to be on a quest to monetize their app by taking all the fun out of it: an hour’s worth of guild chores a day, and no guild points for the day unless you complete EVERY ONE OF THEM. No guild points on Saturday unless you are all done by 9am PST. No points on Monday unless you wait until after 1pm. If you fall behind, you can buy your way back into your Guild’s good graces. If I wanted to grind out endless chores to meet arbitrary deadlines, I would head in to my office. Don’t start this game unless you are ready to commit several hours a day to it—you *will* get hooked because the game play is pretty fun, but eventually you will discover that it owns you..Version: 0.5.10779
✓ Please fix the issuesI’m loving the game so far, graphics and game play is good, there is only two major issues that I’m having, the first one being I have completed all the levels on Chapter for but in the quests it is still telling me to complete all Chapter 4 to move on to Chapter 5 6/7, like I said I have already done that. Also, please fix the game freezing, anytime I’m in battle as soon as one of characters go to attacks the game freezes then half the time kicks me out of the game or the other half my character will complete the attack and I can still play. ✓ It was good until now...So this game was a good game! It was trust me but until one update so I was playing this game until an update came and ruined it It gave me all of the characters? I was like wait FORREAL! And I soon realized that diamonds were hard to get and those helped alot on getting characters but it was like now the rarest thing now. BUT! ✓ RipYou see, I had everything... I wanted in this game. I beat the litch, I thought I had it all! Then one day. I purchased a skin for I can’t remember his name, it was a half man has horse warrior with an axe. I purchased the skin. But then.... when I pressed buy, it kicked me out. And it kept glitching... and I had to delete it. And- and I lost my account. And I worked hard. I had Solaris (my favorite) igorok, and that recarnation guy. I was so happy tell that day. Then we called someone it said I purchased a “torchy pack” but I bought a skin. And that’s just a bat character idk who would buy something for him. And so.... ✓ Dying GameI’ve been playing this game for years, spent money which I don’t often do on games, I used to love this game so much. Recently though, the game is just becoming stale... The Dev’s try to make the game seem more interesting by introducing a new character every month or two, they try to “refresh” old, bad characters, but it doesn’t work. The new characters are stale as well. I mean, I guess it makes sense since there’s 80 characters currently and only about half of hem are viable. The meta for this game is insanely ridiculous for end-game players. Everyone in PvP has the current meta team for their defense or for their attack teams. They also have the perfect counter to the meta teams. This game is simple until you reach around lvl 60, but once you reach lvl 70, things start becoming ridiculous. You’re never good enough unless you spend a large amount of money on this game to be an end-game player. I know first-hand. The grind in this game gets worse and worse and some things are just becoming impossible unless you’re a top 50 player. This game just isn’t he way it used to be. Too much is changing for the worse. If you’re thinking about being a top player in this game in the PvP scene, be ready to shed a lot of money for runes to power up your characters..Version: 0.5.10010

✓ Game has gone southThis game was really enjoyable until the recent changes. Players have spent months if not years crafting their players and teams and the developers went and changed character traits that greatly reduced their effectiveness. New characters are over powering original characters at an unbelievable margin. Characters coming back to life is out of control, all the new characters are freezing everyone to miss a turn - out of control, bigs are no longer slow and going last, but instead are going first, and the latest team healing change is awful. My favorite character chief Nub Nub is so weak now after a year of crafting. The ninja use to throw 2 daggers per enemy and now only throws one and the fire characters are way to powerful over the earth characters. A lot needs to be addressed here. This update removes fundamental gem earning capability which is basically nerfing the game and slapping long term and VIP players in the face, yet again. I'm just not going to play any more and you shouldn't either. **UPDATE** Just stumbled upon the fact that Big Fish Games is owned by Aristocrat which is: A gambling machine manufacturer! This validates all of the game play sleazy tactics found in my review below. So this is how you can get children to gamble. Government regulation can't come soon enough to Apple's "ecosystem". REVIEW: This is an "Editor's Choice" because of revenue, not clever design or fun gameplay. There are just so many things offensively wrong with how the gameplay only supports separating you from your money. Plus, most of the game advancement is centered on in-game gambling and MONTHS of mindless grinding. This app uses frustration as the primary method of demanding money. Other issues: -new Solaris character breaks Tower of Pwnage play, introduces game breaking bugs (even characters on non-Solaris levels randomly come back to life) -reading through forums proves that discriminatory difficulty levels appear for non-paying players. IF YOU DON'T PAY A TON OF MONEY TO LEVEL UP YOU WILL LOSE IN PVP CONSTANTLY. -constant nerfing of characters, even the ones you paid for -invincibility only works for enemies, not players -grossly offensive unmoderated group chat (racist, hate speech) NOT suitable for anyone under 18 (PARENTS DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY THIS GAME) -lots of random crashes after several YEARS of development with constant, frustrating restarts -new players not given isolation from pay to win players, making the new player experience unfair and frustrating -fast, normal and slow character order broken, especially in the Tower of Pwnage -PvP matching broken. Rather than striving for balanced characters that create variety and interesting combinations, the developers chose to abandon progress toward this goal in favor of increasing the relative power of a small handful of characters. Then they redesigned the game currency to make it virtually impossible to obtain those heroes without literally spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Yes, the game may be fun while you are at low levels (the point at which about 90% of reviews get written), but do not be disceived. ✓ Don’t be fooledOriginally loved this game. I had no confusion about the grinding and at first the progression was balanced. Once I got to about level 35, the balance shifted significantly. The normal grinding I had done up to that point was useless. Almost every battle the enemy team was way over powered with exp level, skill set and runes. It was clear that if you want to make any progress faster than a crawl, your going to have to bow down to the micro-transaction gods. Even still I grinder away without paying and it was even more of a slog to get to level 40 and 50. I’ve finally had enough and am deleting the game after this. It’s not just about winning battles that slows to a couple day crawl. Remotely depending on the dungeons or ‘quick wins’ to actually generate the the material needed to ascend is an exercise in futility. ✓ What happened?I like this game before, but god I hate to do this, but this game is actually horrendous. I never put bad reviews in games, but this is an exception. Dungeon Boss now is 10x or maybe 20x worse then it was before. They took out honor summons, VIP summons, you have to get stars to ascend your heroes, game of chance is rigged, gems are harder to get now, tower of pwnage and pvp are really useless, and the game throwing you so many offers that its actaully not pay to win, but pay to play. Sure you may think its fun now, but later it is so frustrating you may as well just leave because spending money on this game won’t do you any good. Instead of opening dungeons that have been locked for over a year they change the rules. Once you build your characters to be successful they nerf them. I have been maxed out for over a year now...they somehow think it is fun to change the rules and frustrate me instead of giving me new challenges and rewards and success for all the time I spent. I am a top 100 player in a top ten guild who will not be playing this game as soon as my guild can replace me. I hope they get a lot of new players because the most loyal ones are leaving. ✓ Down the toiletI’ve spent 3 1/2 years playing this game, and have willingly spent quite a bit of money on it, too. It WAS a fun, engaging strategy game with a good bit of wry humor sprinkled in. Not. Any. More. The game was sold to new developers who are excessively greedy. Now, everything is money based. It would truly be laughable at what they want you to buy if it weren’t the sad truth. What once was a fun, relatively ‘free’ game to play has now turned into a ‘nickel and dime’ you ploy at every turn. The recent upgrade plummeted character powers, took away half of the portals, changed shops and made the challenge basically undoable UNLESS YOU FORK OVER YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!!! Everyone is extremely upset by all of these changes. Players are quitting the game altogether in droves. Our concerns, my friends, fall on deaf ears. ✓ Nice place to visit, not to live inI’ll be honest, I spend hours each day playing it, and am high level. It’s probably one of the nicest games of this type developed. It’s fun But, if you get high enough level, spend enough time, it becomes apparent the heart of this game is gone. It’s the embers of a cash cow, sold to a cut rate business. The hard core player community is resigned to this, and work around the unfixed bugs, the unbalanced play ( due to new hero’s being added to try to get more dollars out of people) and the outrageous cash grabs. The events are repeated over and over again. It’s a game frozen in time, with an icing of greed and low budget maintenance . But, it’s really hard for new players to see the rot and mismanagement. The game is so awesome that one will have to spend a lot of hours , maybe hundreds, before things become clear about all of this. And that is the reason of my review: the game is a nice place to visit, but not to live in. The original people who developed this game are long gone, I think. I heard they used to care about the players. There are other games out there that has a vibrant and functional player community. ✓ Fun gameplay terrible pay to winGameplay is actually quite fun, however the pay to win is so awful you would think this games developers are about to go out of business. Last update removed nearly every way to get gems without paying large amounts ( the amount you could get before was kinda sad anyway). If the game didn’t require gems for just about everything it wouldn’t be that big of a deal really. VIP rewards were completely nerfed with the portal update, removing one vip reward and making another basically useless. All the games shops also received a huge nerf so as to focus the player on paying more money in the games cash shop. Some of the game modes available almost seem pointless now. Used to love this game, have played for a long time, and even spent money on it. Sad that I wasted money on this game, as every dollar spent requires another 10 it seems here. I still believe with a “good” couple of updates they might be able to fix this game and make it awesome, but I highly doubt it will happen. ✓ Please ChangeAfter returning to the game, I was disappointed to find that one of the main ways to get gems was removed. Clearing dungeons and epic dungeons don’t give you gems making it painfully slow to collect them. It doesn’t help that none of the quests give you any gems either making you rely on daily rewards or spending money on the game. If anything please reward more gems and heroic summons as chapter completions and all-star quests. Although the game does seem a bit more balanced it’s feels too slow and you don’t get anything special after beating epic bosses which feels like a major letdown. I hope you take this into consideration and make some changes. P.S. I miss the old version where you could get pvp points for summons, now its just for runes crafting gear, which is so boring and barely matters. All characters start at the same tier, which is ok, but when you take away the main way you summon dudes, then take away most of the possible ways you grinded for gems, you have to play a ton more just to get a little progress, and it gets boring. ✓ Starts great but ends badlyHad this game for a year or so and loved it. Enjoyed building up the characters and taking on new levels. However, once you get to the max level for your profile you don’t get the joy of being able to defeat all the levels. Many of the “hard” difficulty ones are just simply impossible. Also, they keep coming out with new characters and giving them to you so you never fully grow your existing ones. Furthermore, its nearly impossible to upgrade your players with Evos, they are just too hard to build up over time. Really sad death to this game when you reach the highest level. ✓ Waste of timeSeveral months ago I uploaded game played it and had terrible time, tutorial was simplistic and bare, I deleted the game after 1 week. Then an associate said it had gotten better, so I reinstalled the application just to see if it really had gotten better. First off the graphics and gameplay are quite improved from last time, not as much lagging in game. Went through same things and tutorials was slightly better as now it explains runes a bit better, then came the PVP Raid. Now my avatars were at lvl 12 maxed abilities and almost all were ascended to second tier. The opponent had 3 regular lvl 8, and a 3 tier lvl 10. My team should have won easily but no, 4 hits and each of my avatars were down. That is one punch for each by regardless of tier lvl lesser lvl avatars. Why waste time or money on game where lvl of avatars don’t matter nor obviously runes when lower lvl can wipe out lvls much higher with ease. That was why I refuse to play and shall delete game once more, I don’t mind that people pay to play but let’s make it real, lvl 8 is just lvl 8 not a 12 and unless ascended to max shouldn’t beat lvl 12, hurt them yes, but not a one hit and the 12 is on ground by lvl 8. Great graphics, smoother gameplay but horrible system in regards to lvl and ascension. If it’s improve which I highly doubt the makers care, I shall try again until then my blog shall let people know this is another systematic probability gone horribly wrong. ✓ Want a refund for your ripoffRecently I’ve bought the jingle pass for 20$. It was advertised that after I opened all of the winterfest doors, I would get the krampus skin for the new hero I also paid for. Come to find out, I open all the doors and bam, no skin. I then go to my guild mates and asked why I didn’t have the skin. Come to find out, you have to open all of the winterfest and jingle pass doors TWICE and you have to pay a GOLD key to open the secret door that holds the skin. In the description of the jingle pass, it said I would have to just open all of the winterfest and jingle pass doors and I would be awarded my skin. It said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about having to open ALL of the doors TWICE then have to pay a GOLD key to open another door to get the skin. Mind you that a gold key is worth about another 10$. After opening the doors, who in their right mind will have an extra gold key left over, especially if they weren’t notified that they would need it to get the skin. This was blatant false advertisement and a complete ripoff, I either was my money back or my skin because I feel like I’ve been robbed..Version: 0.5.11436
