✓ Only the paid version worksI’ve given this app four stars - I would have given five if I wasn’t so concerned about spending a chunk of my money on an app that had a free version that was as buggy as hell. I’m a software engineer, and to me it looked like the issues I was seeing were simply related to bugs in the logic that played ads so I was tempted to pay and see, but with the bugs causing severe usability issues I couldn’t bring myself to part with my hard earned money for something that might basically be unusable. I had to lose my TV remote to finally push me over the she and “take a chance” - with a very pleasing result. I would’ve paid for this app much earlier had I experienced a working free version. I’d encourage the engineers to test the free version of the app as much as they test the paid version if they want a higher conversion rate! Now that I’ve paid it works like a charm. I should add, my TV make and model is on the supported list..Version: 4.0

✓ HandyThis is a simple and handy app. To get the best experience I would pay the fee. It costs less than a physical remote and your phone most likely will not get lost compared to a TV remote. Best part is, if you lose your phone you can transfer everything over to a new device on iOS. So your remote virtually can never be lost. Works great with kids as well. ✓ Purchase doesn’t transfer devicesThe app works great for my needs. I did purchase the app to remove ads and it works great. However, the purchased app doesn’t transfer to my iPad which uses the same Apple ID, and so when I upgrade my phone I suspect my purchase will be lost. If you are using for free, deal with it. $8 is nothing for a permanent wifi remote you essentially never have to replace. No annoying batteries. Although the wifi connection does “reset” sometimes and if you’ve lost your remote you can simply use your tv button to press yes when pairing is required. Works great, but I wasn’t thrilled when going to Netflix and having to use the arrow controls to pick one letter at a time instead of having an alphanumeric keyboard available to type the name of the movie with. ✓ A Good App But Less Ads PleaseThe app itself is amazing. It works smoothly and connected to my tv really quickly. Very easy to use too. The only thing which majorly lets this app down is the amount of ads which pop up, I understand that apps are necessary but the amount of ads are quite ridiculous and means that using the app becomes quite annoying and unnecessarily time consuming. Now with the updates, they changed it into a ridiculous, expensive subscription! It is almost impossible to use with all the pop-up ads now. Once it finds your TV (IP address), you select your TV and the app allows you to control your TV. HOWEVER, an ad pops up after tapping a button (volume, channel, etc.) about 5 times. There is a way around this though; e.g. tapping and holding the volume button turns up the volume without an ad popping up..Version: 4.0

✓ Way to many adds!This free version of the remote works great even with the extreme amount of adds. I noticed a handful of one star reviews for the only reason being “to many Adds” If your to cheap to spend a few bucks for the add free experience don’t rate the app poorly because of it. The developers have to get paid just like any body else they are not doing Charity work so that you can have an awesome remote for your 65” $4k TV! I am a free user so I wait for the short 1s-7s add you don’t even have to watch the whole add you can click skip! This is the only remote that works Fully with my Samsung I’ve tried others but always come back to this one. It’s easy to connect click find your tv then click enter bottom with keyboard on your tv and it works. The paid version is hands down worth it because you get the add free experience lol but you get the cool keyboard typing option so you don’t have to click and arrow to each letter when searching. And it’s easier to turn tv off and on you don’t have to click find my tv every time you turn your tv off for a minute. This is my longest review of a free app ever I was just to appalled by the one star reviews because of adds. ✓ Worth the "Add Removal" Fee!My Samsung remote, for some odd reason, interferes and works (with no clear direction) on my 2 Black+Decker tower fans. It shuts them off, changes all the settings, and does it with every other click of the remote sometimes. And, I lost the fan remote, so now we have to keep resetting them.
