Problems downloading latest issueI subscribe to the digital version of Better Home and Gardens and pay biaApple. April’s edition has been released but I cannot access the subscribe buttons to make my purchase. I have tried turning my iPad off and on again and deleted the app and reinstalled, both to no avail. Now the app is crashing. I am disappointed because I enjoy the magazine and get a lot of design and cooking ideas from it. Release dates of app versions needs to improveI ponder why you can’t update the content of subscriptions in your app. The magazine has been available in stores and via Apple News for days (probably close to two weeks now) but via your app nothing. I update. This is for bhg mag and women’s weekly. Love the content (hence I subscribe) but super disappointed about timeliness..Version: 5.3

In addition, I cannot view the latest issue although the app states it is downloaded - just getting the image of the page flashing up then disappearing to a blank screen. Waste of moneyI have numerous digital magazines without issue. In the last month three of my magazines have disappeared. All of the recommended troubleshooting has been ineffective. Emails given a stock reply and inaccurate time line. Messages virtually useless.. all stating “ their horror and distress”! Clearly this is not a new issue after reading other comments. It seems the owner ARE media haven't a clue how to run a publishing business. They are committing fraud continuing to sell digital magazines that are not fit for purpose. Not happyGuess I’m not alone in this problem of not being able to access my subscription. It’s recently been renewed and I am not able to view anything but a black screen. Not user friendlyApp is no longer supported on iPad due to having an old one and no longer supporting the newer version. Due to this can only view on iPhone, struggled to login as forgot password didn’t work so had to email. Now I’m left with viewing each month of an iPhone, which is incredibly frustrating as the screen is small and having to zoom in for every single article is annoying as well, I wouldn’t recommend this app and if you can to purchase the actual magazine..Version: 6.0

How do I get a refund on my pre-October 2016 issues please?I even threw out the hard copies that I had to save space as it never occurred to me that you would take away our access to these. I am really missing them but given how long this problem has been going on for I have lost any hope that you are actually going to fix it. Awful for existing customersThis app updated and as a result I have lost all my magazines and am being asked to pay for mags I already own as well as the current magazine when my subscription doesn’t expire until the end of November. I have now cancelled the renewal on my subscription- there is no option for me to download the content without paying again - not happening. Thanks for nothing. SubscriptionsMy subscription ran out after the November 2018 issue, BHG rang me to ask if I wanted to renew and I told them no but they take money out of my account every month and I receive no magazine, I’ve tried to unsubscribe but everything is greyed out and won’t let me do anything, I’ve tried reporting the problem but I get no response, no star rating from a very irate loyal past customer..Version: 4.10.10

Terrible for existing iTunes subscriptionI've been a subscriber through iTunes for 4 years however now the new app won't let me subscribe as iTunes knows I've already done so, won't load an issue and wants to me sign up again (after already paying) for issues. ProblemIt looks as though I am experiencing the same issue as other users. After a regular Apple update 2 years ago I no longer have access to my subscription magazines. I have done all that is required but have unsuccessfully downloaded any of my past magazines & have never had access since. It’s also a shame as prior to the update I had no issues with the app and always had access to my subscription. Now what I am experiencing is having to sign in or restore each time I open the app and no magazine access. I am really disappointed as this has been the same problem over 2 years now. Beware!This app should not be available until it is functional. The digital version of Better Homes and Gardens is not made available until week’s after the print version is released. The poor staff at Pacific Magazines acknowledge the problem but have no solutions - don’t bother emailing - you will get no response. I had no problems with the app when it was under the Pocket Mags umbrella. Luckily I bought my subscription through the App Store and Apple have refunded my subscription since the app does not provide what it is supposed to. Until this is sorted I will go back to the print version. Very disappointed!.Version: 4.10.9

TerribleThe overhaul of the app is terrible. It takes forever to download an issue whereas it used to be quick and now even after you download it it can be really grainy while the page opens properly which also takes ages. Features like being able to pin things to Pinterest are gone. It crashes far too often. The previous version was great, why did you take such a massive step backwards!?.Version: 4.10.7

Minuse 5 starStill not happy after downloading all previous magazines and using all my download I find today that it is asking again for me to download the same magazines. So not only do I have to pay for a subscription that doesn’t work I have to download every magazine any time I want to read one I have previously paid for. Do not subscribeAvoid this subscription & just buy the paper copies, they will take your money & then delete your purchases after 15 months, I had multiple purchases but can only access the one purchased in oct 17, all previous purchases are no longer available to download. Ummmmm not compatible with subscribe todayWas referred to subscribe today via the BHG website to purchase a digital subscription. After working out what app I needed to view my subscription I could not create an account. I went to ‘mag shop’ as per the apps instructions to make an account however after doing this i still could not log in. After hours of frustration I am giving up and requesting a refund as I still have not been able to log into the app, download my magazine subscription or even view my subscription. Major issue with this magazine download.I reported the issue of loss of all magazines previous to October 2016. Today I downloaded the latest magazine but all previous magazines have disappeared again and require require redownloading. These issues were reported months ago. I cannot give this magazine any star rating as the issues are long term and ongoing. A developer response that you are working on the issue is not good enough after this period of time. The developer needs to communicate what the problem is and give a reasonable time frame during which it will be fixed. If not fixed in that time then compensation should be offered..Version: 4.10.9

DisgracefulWe purchased a year subscription (wrong decision), after 4 months the app says we need to pay for the next issue. Contacted helpline, what joke, they told me to delete the app and reinstall it. I did that and reinstalled previous issues, no change in problem. Upside down pages - flip book July 2021How do you read upside down pages on an iPad when it changes orientation page to page? I sent feedback - note that the feedback button in the app has the wrong email address. I informed them of this but received no reply. The response about the upside down pages was that the last section is a flip book. Clearly they don’t care that this makes this section unreadable..Version: 5.3

Constant crashesEvery time I open a magazine the app crashes. Cannot move from page to page. Would be better if there was a better way of navigating through recipes. Just not crashing would be a HUGE improvement..Version: 4.9.88
