✓ AWWI was very disappointed when I found I couldn't zoom in on anything. I like to use recipes on my iPad but the AWW recipes are too small to read easily when cooking. With many other magazines I can enlarge the articles and make them easy to see without going right up to the iPad. I have only bought one issue and had no problem downloading it but I will not buy any more. A year later I still can't expand anything in the AWW it is very annoying, this is the only magazine that I have this problem with, I will not buy again, I only bought this copy to see if anything had changed come on AWW get with the times if other magazines can do it why can't you? It can't be that difficult..Version: 1.9.0
✓ Cannot view purchased issueI purchased an issue of AWW and was enjoying the format and the idea that I could keep issues without having them piled up and taking up space. I loved the recipes in this issue and was bookmarking them when it suddenly closed down and I could not re-open or view the mag. I tried submitting a feedback form several times which failed to go through. I have emailed 3 or 4 times and had no response. I have just managed to get a feedback form to go through so I hope to get an answer. I am in the middle of uninstalling and reinstalling the app in the hope that this might solve the problem but having seen another customer's comment saying that when she tried this she was billed twice for the same issue I'm not very confident. I would like to have this problem solved because I really want to subscribe to further issues but of course I won't do so until I know that I am going to be able to continue to view purchased issues..Version: 1.5.0
✓ DisappointedI have a number of these Apps in order to source magazines in line. Initially the worked well but increasingly they fail to load the latest issues. I now need to wait until the magazines have been in the shops often for more than a week before I can access them here. Disappointing.Version: 7.17

✓ FrustratedLike many other reviewers, I have been having trouble opening the last few issues of the WW successfully. Even though the issue is downloaded I cannot open it and only the previous issue opens. I troubleshooted the problem last month and managed to install it by deleting my subscription and re-installing it. It took ages and my previous copies are still not downloaded. Now I have the same problem this month; only the previous edition will open. I am so disappointed. We were living in South America when I first subscribed and it was such a joy to be able to read when we were over there. We are about to move overseas again but I cannot I imagine I will renew my subscription unless the problem is resolved, no matter how desperate I am to read news from home!.Version: 1.9.0
✓ NO SUPPORT IF YOU CAN'T DOWNLOADI purchased 3 months subscription. Third month prompts me to down load but when I try it just gives an error 1001 code saying I haven't paid.... Tried I tunes support; no response. Impossible to find information on subscription who to email etc so if you planning on purchasing be prepared to forfeit some money if you get stuck downloading....Version: 1.7.1
✓ Epically long download time!They're not kidding when they say it takes time to download. I subscribed yesterday at least 24 hours ago and the blue download bar shows I'm only nearly halfway there. Would have been more convenient to buy the paper version! Now after reading the previous post I hope after such a long wait it will even be readable. An extremely frustrating and regrettable experiment. Update: 5 days later still downloading.... Nearly there... Still no response from support. Update: it has now been 8 days and still not downloaded. Still no response from support. Can I have my money back? Update: The December issue finally downloaded and I have had fewer problems with the January issue. The problem seems to be background downloading within Newstand. You need to keep Newstand open and prevent the iPad from timing out into sleep mode until the weekly downloads. A major pain but this time the magazine downloaded in about 16 hours. The final result is a great magazine in iPad format but without the ability to zoom in and no crossword! Good try aww but I won't be renewing my electronic subscription. Update May: I am trapped in an unending subscription that doesn't expire. There is no unsubscribe option in the app. Aww says it is an iTunes issue. iTunes does not respond to my requests to cancel. And there is still no crossword. Boycott this app. It is just not worth the trouble..Version: 1.6.1
✓ Timeliness of digital app release needs to improveI ponder why you can’t update the content of subscriptions in your app. The magazine has been available in stores and via Apple News for days (probably close to two weeks now) but via your app nothing. I update. This is for bhg mag and women’s weekly. Love the content (hence I subscribe) but super disappointed about timeliness..Version: 7.17
✓ Worst App EVER!!!!!!Magazine keeps closing down, you can't go back to where you left off. They should try looking how iBooks and kindle work, to enable going straight into your purchase without having to click to open each time, like they are more interested in selling more copies than making the app user friendly. Numerous emails reflected they had no idea how to resolve issue. Called magshop today, they advised they are aware there is a problem with the December issue (no mention of this in any of the emails they sent). They will now post a paper copy of the mag, but that sort of defeats the purpose of wanting to read electronic version.Version: 6.0

✓ AWWI hate this app. I have the original iPad & every time I try to open the issue I wish read, the app closes. I have tried deleting & reinstalling the app. This worked a couple of times then started closing the app again. After reinstalling I then had to restore all the issues. This took forever and I have yet to be able to open the issue I wish to read. Also I love the AWW crossword but can't find anywhere to be able to save the answers. So if I don't get it all done at once I have to start again next time. A real pain as I never have time to complete the crossword in one go. Scroll to the bottom of the Featured page and click on your Apple ID (or Sign In) 3. A new window will pop up - tap View Apple ID. 4. Under Subscriptions, click Manage. (If you don't have any subscriptions this button will not be displayed.) 5. From here, tap the app subscription that you would like to manage and you will see the current subscription status and available options. If you only subscribe to one publication, you will see the current subscription status and options without needing to select a subscription. 6. Tap ON to toggle the switch to OFF. 7. A new window will pop up - tap Turn Off to confirm..Version: 1.7.1

Now it’s full of woke nonsense of heavily one-sided. I’ll be keen to see if AWW covers what the winning side of The Voice thought and where they think things should go now. However the online magazine changed at the start of 2018 and it became less interactive. Now I can no longer click into and complete the crossword. I can’t view movie previews. ✓ MrHave just cancelled my subscription 3 months into a 12 months subscription. On downloading the new WW app I couldn't access previous issues that I subscribed to without having to pay for them again. WW support said that they could not do anything about it and suggested I contact Apple, as it was nothing to do with them. Apple was not able to reinstate my paid issue but reimbursed the cost of same. I have had nothing but issues with this company and have previously rated them as 1 star.(which was quickly taken down, the last thing they want is a stack of 1 star ratings) They are trading on the good name of the printed copy..Version: 6.0

✓ Once great app ruinedThe new format from January 18 has completely diminished the functionality of this app. The interface for puzzles doesn’t work and it’s really off-putting to read as you now have to zoom all over the place to actually read the article even on a normal-sized iPad. Neither an enjoyable, nor user-friendly experience. Does client feedback and the repeated one-star ratings mean anything to you, the Developers???
