✓ Compelling concept, addictive!I LOVE Hexiled, but it could be so much better IMHO. Here are a few well-meaning ideas: 1) Make the board scalable so it’s easier to see more of it at once. 2) Maybe add a “scramble” feature to consolidate remaining letters for a last gasp effort. 3) Maybe add a few precious Undo options per game? 4) Lose all the definitions and use that “space” for customizing options, tips/tricks, etc. 5) Board can get funky—it freezes sometimes or refuses to recognize valid words. Keep fixing it and improving it, since it has become my very favorite go-to word game. Thanks!.Version: 1.5.4

✓ Good little gameThis is a pretty fun game that's just popped up, but the developer really forces the purchase of the 'unlock all' feature, especially having the requirements for the other 2 modes being really high - personally I would lower them to at least 125 games and 300 games maybe, otherwise it gets boring just playing escape, not like it isn't making you sweat buckets when trying to do it in under a minute. ✓ Fun new take on word puzzlesThis is a fun little game that borrows from scrabble as well as a whole genre of flash games that have come and gone over the years. The game is well made and enjoyable. My only gripe is that the game rewards three letter words too much and I often find myself playing words I've never heard of by trial and error because I find that to be the fastest strategy. ✓ Did I miss something?I absolutely love the game! I think it is very unique the way it puzzles you in the strange way that it does!! The only problem that I have a problem with is that when I unlocked everything, I believe I didn't get the soundtrack? Or can you only listen to it when in a game? I definitely got the other 2 game modes, the word wall and it removed the ads, I just don't know what happened to the song if anything was meant to happen at all! The first levels move along swiftly, then you start getting stuck. Don't get tricked into thinking that the first direction you head is the right direction. ✓ Clever and well implementedI got hooked on the first version of this app and now that they have patched all the little bugs the game is even better! The words I find become fairly repetitive, because of the distribution of letters available, but having the time limit change really brings the challenge back. ✓ Only Word App Worth PlayingHonestly I don't know how long I've been playing with this app but it is years. Took me a while to realise it was up to me how simple or sophisticated the game play was. I'm still pretty lousy as my vocabulary isn't the broadest, this doesn't detract from the game as i play to beat my highest score. ✓ Great but is it rigged sometimes?!I like this game and was happy to pay for the unlocks, although it thought that paying would unlock the themes as well but they're still locked! I have cracked under a minute in Escape mode, but I do find after a bit of a streak that you are given a game where there appear to be no moves where you end up, so you run out of time. I'm sure that if you weren't under so much time pressure, you'd look at the board first and see where there's an area with all vowels or no vowels, and avoid those! But it's frustrating to have made it two-thirds to the edge and then have literally nothing in the way of words. I'm also slightly suspicious that some of those J, Q, Z, X bombs aren't always next to any useable letters. But overall I still like it, it's my new favourite game..Version: 1.1.2

Two problems: 1) It sometimes crashes while in menus; not during a game, at least. 2) It doesn't recognise the words 'Monday' and 'June'; and if it doesn't know such common words as those, how many others won't it recognise? It's also difficult to get words longer than five letters, possibly because too many letters are adjacent to other letters that aren't next to each other in any English word. For example, 'Q' often appears without a 'U' next to it. While this isn't unreasonable to a certain extent, one has the sense that it is too often and gives up trying to find words of more than three or four letters..Version: 1.4

✓ Best, most original puzzler in ages.For those complaining that it's too hard, it's a puzzle! It's supposed to be puzzling! But if you struggle with escape, play explore instead. It's the best way to learn the game. This is unique and has a top replay value, even if you don't pay for the full game. ✓ Fun, relaxing and challenging!It is fun, relaxing and challenging, and so far my best word is ‘shatterers’ for 3,510 points! I do play this a lot, was looking for a game like Spell Collapse, which is not available anymore. Found this, and like it very much, but i do have a problem with it. Sometimes I can leave the game if I have to, and my game is still waiting for me later when I go back to play it- i just click on ‘resume game’ and there it is as I left it. Other times, i go back to pick up where I left off, and my game is gone, and I have to start over again, which I hate because often I had awesome words with a lot of points! So that is why I am giving it only 4 points. Other than that one complaint, I think this is a great game!.Version: 1.5.4

I tend to download games to my home screen, play them for a few days then get bored and gradually quit playing them until finally they get deleted, but this one has made it into my games folder :) Also, I purchased the unlock, in part because I'm impatient but also to support the devs. I think it's cool that it isn't compulsory that you pay to upgrade, that they've made it so fans who don't want to spend money can unlock the features by playing a lot.
