✓ Great productivity hack!I am an academic. No relationship with the developer. My two cents: I was going to buy an external keyboard that had programable keys in order to boost my workflow. But they were very ugly and bulky, or too expensive. This is the solution! You can make your own layouts including the controls of each app or any key combination. You can have a layout for things that work across all apps, layouts for specific apps, or combinations. For example, I have a layout for online meetings with what need at hand, another for when I am writing, or collecting data, etc. I don’t play games, but I imagine you could use for that too. Just change the setting to prevent your iphone from going to sleep while on the app, and you’ll have an additional dynamic keyboard..TicoDCVersion: 2021.9

Unlike many similar products on the app store, this one includes just about every feature you would need for the initial price. While using the magic mouse was good, this app makes it a great experience with custom controls for video playback and the ability to input my password onto the starting screan. Having no longer to get up and input the password on the keyboard, and having the touchpad and keyboard in the same app makes it very useful! The feature set is phenomenal. This is one of the first ones I used when I became disabled in 2015 due to my disability I tried a lot to see what works best for me as I have no finger dexterity with the aid of the Apple Pencil and a strap on device for my pencil to my hand this is how are use my PC/Mac through a couple of iPad Pros’ no matter what I try I always come back to Remote•Pro. Don’t like the layout? You can customize it. You can create totally custom keypads to launch and control any site, macro etc. I have my MBP docked with a 32in monitor that serves as my tv in the bedroom. I can control everything, from my phone, while laying in bed. Better than I traditional tv remote. Actions also work perfectly with Siri and Shortcuts. Every morning before leaving I need to turn my monitor off. Using the Siri integration with this app, I don’t even need to unlock my phone. ✓ Iffy lefty options and mandatory mouse accelerationThis is really fully featured and for most users will be fine. However two things have been getting in the way for me: 1) I’m left handed, and use swapped mouse buttons. Like many actual laptop trackpads, this app doesn’t accommodate that setting properly, so every interaction (hold and drag, tap to click, click etc) is entered as though it’s done with a right mouse button. If you’re right handed this will not affect you at all. 2) It applies heavy mouse de/acceleration, the equivalent of the “enhanced pointer precision” option in Windows. I have that turned off in Windows because I find it easier to use the mouse without it, but there’s no way to disable the app’s own version of the effect.
