✓ Great App, but how do I buy the pro versionWARNING: This is just my opinion. You might have another opinion, and that's cool, but this mine✌🏽 Ok, I really like this app, but I think it could be so much better with just a few additions. So with that said, I thought I'd try and see if the "PRO VERSION" is any better....come to find out that THERE IS NO PRO VERSION!!! Well that's the conclusion that I have come too, BECAUSE IT WONT LET ME BUY IT!!! Why?! Can someone explain to me why this is....better yet, has anyone else had this happen??? I'm baffled as to why this is happening to me, let me know if this has happened to you too. ✓ Can you helpHi i’ve just started using your app and I’ve noticed that under the United Kingdom voices you have 3 enhanced voices but when I go to share the voice and save the voice it doesn’t save it with the enhanced voice version. I have laryngitis and thought it might be useful but I could not get it to say anything except one time when it started reading aloud the configuration settings and would not stop. ✓ Self-defeating - DELETEDThe idea is simple - add text and let the app speak it. Just one problem: every other time the app speaks, an ad - no, a video ad WITH SOUND - plays over the top of it. Worse, the video has a countdown Close button so I can’t immediately dismiss it. I would never be able to rely on this app without fear I’d just be playing my friends an ad. Hint to any developers that read this - the “cost” of using your app (the inconvenience of the ads) and hence your remuneration (the money you get from it) should be in line with the value your app adds to the user’s device. Given text-to-speech is already built into the OS, your app contributes very little functionality compared to the trade-off. This app is too expensive..Version: 3.1.2
✓ Lots of AdsEvery time you click on something an ad pops up. While there are a lot of voices to chose from and it is helpful after a tonsillectomy, it is annoying due to the fact you have to wait for the 10 secs for the abs to go away..Version: 3.1.2

✓ It’s ok if you only need it occasionallyAfter nearly a week of severe laryngitis making it impossible for me to speak, I thought I’d look for a technical solution. I was hopeful about this one but the following things made it unfeasible for regular use: 1. You have to hide the keyboard before playing a sound, further adding delay to what is already a stilted conversation! 2. The cross button to clear what you’ve previously written is not very responsive which again, slows down use 3. Sometimes the speech will be interrupted by an ad which is no good at all if you’re trying to speak to someone. And there’s not even an option to pay to remove ads! Shame, because I did like the range of voices and particularly the “favourites” section - “hi, I can’t speak at the moment, I’ve lost my voice” would have got used a lot!.Version: 3.0.1

✓ I liked the app until…So this app was great. It had all the voices I wanted, and I used it a lot. But then, a few weeks ago, I clicked on a voice after I had typed something. But it wouldn’t lode! I thought it was just a glitch so I tried a different voice. It didn’t work. So the moral, it won’t lode. This is a great app, I love it, but it just doesn’t lode. So I can’t use it. ✓ I Hate Updates That Remove FeaturesThis used to be my favourite text to speech app because it had so many features and was free, from the voice selection to the pitch and speed changes. Now, not only do I have to relearn where each feature is located, half of these options are locked behind a subscription. ✓ Useless. Extremely invasive ads & does not work in landscape modeHow could this app have such great reviews? The ads are extremely invasive. They take over the screen and TALK OVER the speech you are trying to produce. It’s not not once, it does this all the time, about every third sentence. That makes it useless. It does not work in landscape mode. That also makes it nearly useless. And trying to leave feedback on the App Store via this app does not work. When trying, it claims it cannot connect to the App Store. Might that help explain why there are so few negative reviews? ✓ Not bad at all, could have better voicesThis app works really well and is designed smartly. It performs better than other text-to-speech apps I've tried before, both in terms of how fast it loads and the accuracy. The interface also looks really nice. However, I'm not completely blown away by the voices, even the ones you have to pay for. They seem a bit unclear or mumbled. ✓ Horrible App!!It says on the app page they are working to fix the technical issue and to turn your phone off then back on and it should be resolved (2 weeks ago) but this did not work. You did not even indicate what the issue is so people know if that is what they are experiencing. I typed in a sentence and it worked the first time with the default voice, then the second time, it started rambling all this other stuff I did not type. The same when I switched voices. ✓ 0/10Thank goodness there was a free option because it took five seconds of the program speaking for me to delete the app. I followed all instructions, scanned the pages I needed to, and saved them. The voice began “speaking” aka screaming the text at 100 miles per hour and at first I thought it was in a different language. Turns out it the program is just incapable of comprehension and I would say probably three of the 20 words it read were barely pronounced correctly.
