✓ New trains and boats and even betterThis game is great but it needs more steam trains and Thomas and friends and British SteamTrains and add Ivor the engine and Casey jr and add sparks on all of the trains when braking with real braking noises and make the trains realistic and add king’s cross station and even more American 19th &20th century steam locomotives. ✓ Great sim, one suggestionI’ve been playing this game for a few years, and I have to say, it is the best mobile train sim. The engine is flawless, the game is very realistic, and the addons are cheap. The one major problem is that when creating routes, it is extremely difficult to get the curves perfect because of the spline and spline point functionality. One thing is that there isn’t much modern British stuff available. A lner class 91 or a class 800 would be great. Otherwise it is perfect and I really recommend it.Version: 1.0.3

✓ I ❤️ this game but...The British DLC content seems to have stagnated after the duchesses and flying Scotsman were introduced. We’re missing the Pullman cars, the larger Great Western engines, the larger Southern engines, a few of the larger LMS engines, a few of the larger LNER engines, more tank engines and small tender engines than I can count, and coaches and wagons for all of them. There’s so much potential here and I know I can’t be the only one to have suggested at least of the things here. So please can we get some more of these starting with the Pullman cars. ✓ Ok there’s a lot of issuesThank you but I have a few complaints about the game. I recently got it on my iPad because of the added features, and I tried to restore about $15 dollars worth of dlc and it’s not working. Also this game needs an update on the iPhone version at night time the worlds get all messed up. The textures of the hole world is so screwed up it’s stupid. If there’s a storm the sky doesn’t have lightning it has blocks of white in the sky! I would also like for both of the Trainz 2 the iPad and the phone be the same like have the same features. Why because they are the same except the iPad has less bugs, and has some more tools in the edit part of the game I love the game but this is getting really annoying with all the bugs! ✓ OutstandingThis game is insane high graphics, realistic trains, correct horns, fun to play, build your own map, I mean what can be better than that? Thousands of trains you can get that you can’t get bored and drive more trains. Sure Sure most of the trains cost money and you have to get them but I still think the trains that are free and you start off with are pretty good too. ✓ GreatAlthough this game needs major graphics and bug fixes, it's a pretty cool app. I really enjoyed Trainz Simulator, but it had limited scenarios, which wasn't bad, but this new Driver has a bunch of new scenarios, some of which you have to pay for, others you don't. ✓ Trainz 2I’ve had this game for a couple of years now, I think it’s the best train game/simulator there is on iOS in my humble opinion - like trains? - get Trainz 2 and forget the rest! You won’t be disappointed. My tip, I’d perhaps get trainz driver first before tackling this behemoth just so you get to understand the basics easier and not be so inundated with all the information you are presented with and how to navigate the stuff you are actually looking for easier, which is simpler to get to in the first one, then progress to this as then you will take to the game much easier and probably be not so frustrated by the controls..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Good gameWhat I like about this game is that you can choose which route you want to run trains in, for example: Australia, United Kingdom, Canada and America. There are also job sessions you can do as well as ‘free play’ where you can operate trains in your own time and explore these railway routes. (Which is fun.) Some trains I would like to see added into this game are V/line Vlocity, V/line N class locomotive (along with its carriages), Pacific National’s ‘The Ghan’ train, Victorian Railways R class steam locomotive, CountryLink XPT and LVR (Lachlan Valley Railway) CPH railmotor. ✓ Don’t buy the bundleOnly recently purchased. Completed the tutorials an am now starting to look at the different missions to download. There certainly are an abundance of them to choose from. The only downside is I purchased the bundle, but the original Trainz game needs to be updated to run on the current version of iOS. So a bit of a waste of money. ✓ Where do I startAfter playing this game for about three years or so it’s been great to see my custom maps develop. ✓ Awesomeness!This game came as the best game on the App Store. I can't put my phone down when I'm playing it! Of course its nothing like TS 2016, but it well deserved a 5 star rating. Of course there's many things to fix like: The graphics, horns, cab views, the weird glitch with the Blue Comet. Thinking of the Blue Comet, I got it to work! I just got the Great Northern S-2 Steam Engine session and a weird lag brought me to the rail yard(I had already bought the Blue Comet) and I landed on the BC coach. It finally works now! There's one railroad in particular that I would love to have. The Denver and Rio Grande Western. When making a train simulator, you forget about the " Scenic Line of the World ". Or The Moffat Tunnel or The Royal Gorge or Cumbres pass! These things will make this game awesome. More steam engines could in cloud the K-36(D&RGW) the challenger(many railroad) the GG1. ✓ Gameplay is satisfactoryAfter having grown up playing the original Trainz series on the PC for years, this is a refreshing return to it. Since I hadn’t tried the advanced driving modes before, I decided to try the tutorials on the app, and I will say that they were pretty straightforward and well-put-together, it helped me become familiar with how to operate everything fairly quickly. It’s also nice to be able to have the old “surveyor”/map-building tool included to create more places to run, as well as being able to download more content. One of the downsides, though, is that the selection of rolling stock may seem a bit limited in some areas, especially with steam locomotives (seriously, all you can offer is the Big Boy and that UGLY 4-8-2?!). Although extra content can be purchased, it’s a shame that some of locomotives &/or cars were’t included that were originally from the same PC games as others that did make it into the app..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Great 🚂 Game! But...Trainz Driver 2 is the best train simulator for iOS out there! It is well worth the price, and you can get more content if you're not satisfied with the huge amount of content that it contains in the base game. But on the subject of DLC, I have a few things that I’d like to see made into DLC. First and foremost, I would like to see some DLC of the 20th Century Limited in either it's streamlined 1938 and/or 1940 schemes with the Dreyfuss Hudson or it's 1948 Two Tone Gray Scheme. (Or you could create both in separate DLCs, as I know you have the power to do that.) Along with the 20th Century Limited DLC, I would like them to have their own route/map of the world famous "water level route" along the Hudson River from Croton-Harmon Station to stations northward along the Hudson, as the scenery there is very, very beautiful. Secondly, I’d LOVE to see more content and routes based on Germany and Austria, but with a more modern theme. Think like, for example, ÖBB’s Railjet and DB’s ICE. If I saw a route on the Trainz 2 DLC marketplace that had a detailed Vienna Hbf in it, I’d tell you to shut up and take my money. Thirdly, Since you have both Paris Montparnasse and Paris Garé du Nord, you should add a DLC of Paris Gare de Lyon and the TGV Sud-Est in either it’s blue and gray livery or its iconic original orange and black paint scheme. These additions would make me and probably many other players very happy..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Greatest game just a few suggestionsI love this game with a passion, im not trying to be picky or criticize this masterpiece but I do notice a lack of geared locomotives such as the climax, Heisler, and shay so if you could create a dlc based around these locos it would be amazing. Also I don’t want to be greedy but could you possibly make a dlc dedicated to the White Mountain Central Railroads number 6 climax located at Clark’s trading post in Lincoln New Hampshire USA, that climax is possibly my favorite train ever and the whistle is one of the most iconic parts about that train. ✓ A truly amazing and immersive experienceMost of the time while playing I felt like it was real. I do driving as a job. Most of the time that is exactly what it feels like when you do it for a living. I haven’t tried making my own routes or building my own locomotives, I see the real continuity of the learning is to get into that, making your own worlds. Challenging your creativity. That kind of thing; If there is one thing I could say is why wasn’t the Mac version I bought back in 2015 a bit jerky. This runs very smooth on my iPad, see I would have thought with a Intel Core i7 if that mid 2015 Mac it would be pretty awesome but it felt a bit rubbish. Kind of put me off a bit, also the computer was frying while it was running. This is a complete contrast, it runs smooth and the ipad is quite cool. Only thing I would say is why are there white surfaces on the rails? I am getting all this white surfaces. Not sure this only happens on tutorial mode or general driver. One could argue that the graphics could be better or the rolling stock more detailed, etc., but the overall experience is enjoyable and the purchasable DLC is very reasonably priced (many $0.99 items). Pros: Easy mode is truly easy. Tutorials are clear and easily completed. Detail is good overall. Basic train functions are easily accessible and performed. Cons: The DLC library and access is antiquated and not user friendly (I would strongly suggest registering with PlanetAuran/Trainz to simplify access). Degree of image details could be improved. There are some small things that would have deterred me from continuing to play, minor appearances that rather confuse the player, or me, at least. ✓ Would be perfect if...I’ve been playing Trainz 2 for years now and I’ve always enjoyed creating my own session and route on the game. (Even though I can’t do it properly.) Some of the train models in this game are excellent (Big Boy, for example) and some of the sounds are epic. And the route designs, I would never have dreamed if them. The big issue with Trainz 2 that I have is that most of the routes are fictional and I would much like to see more non-fiction routes in the game, with trains that run on the route in the modern era. But that could be down to licensing. If N3V are seeing this, then the West Coastway and/or the Chatham mainline would be perfect as I live on the Chatham Mainline Territory and my Dad on the West Coastway. tl;dr: I would like to see the Chatham Mainline or the West Coastway in Trainz 2 (or Trainz 3, if the rumours are true.).Version: 1.0.3

One thing that I think should be improved is probably the copy and paste tool in the world creator as I can’t figure out how to do it. Another improvement is some more American assets. While I think there are many Americans assets I still think there is more European trains than American trains. The last thing I would say is find assets with different horns, whistles, and bells. ✓ Some problems, but who cares! It’s on the IPhone!You know, this game brings back a lot of memories of trainz 2010 for the iOS Mac. Surprise that even though they are low graphics, that many trains and routes can run on just a smart phone. Yes, the sounds and the quality tend to be low, but some of the DLC is pretty good. My favorite one is the Amtrak F40PH with a Nathan Airchime old/newish cast P5A (probably) and HEP (head end power at 900 rpm) as well as superliner cars. I think this app is definitely a lot better than all the other train simulator apps out on the App Store. There is a lot of variety with this app. I have been a trainz customer since 2004, and this is the best way to kill time if you’re not in a hurry. I give this app five stars because it is just like playing the one on the computer. I know some have complained about the sounds and the details being inaccurate, but hey, it’s just on the app. If a real train sim buff (like me) wants to customize sounds, they can do so on the computer. It’s a little let down for me, but I can surely put up with it..Version: 1.0.3

✓ This Trainz 2 game is greatI started to like this game because I can use the Indian Pacific carriages for to make the sunlander train so I write down on my notes what type carriages for the formation. And also that I can make the overland’s farewell in outback Australia and wadalbavale to karrah bay which are my one of my top 5 best maps in the trainz driver. However...Got this game with great expectations and it DEFINITELY delivered, not only is it in my opinion one of THE most realistic train simulators, but the new content is substantial, one I noticed is that kind of ruined part of my expectations was the lack of new work, yes there are 2 new maps but only have 1 or 2 jobs, also in the first game A-mazing race, congestion on the rails, and runaway train were free, now there $1 or $2, by the looks of it, they thought making locomotives sortof free and new maps and some jobs along with more paid content which angers me a little since I was looking forward to playing as a classic diesel train like bsnf and nsx but I must pay for those, there is not even a introduction to it like locomotives, other than that I enjoy the game.Version: 1.0.3
✓ Pretty good, apart from one thing....So I purchased the Class 158 scenario on the Rosworth Vale route, which I enjoyed. But, you can’t use the Class 158 on ANYTHING other than that particular scenario! I know it wasn’t expensive, but surely we should be able to use any of the trains from routes / scenarios we’ve purchased in Free Drive? Just doesn’t seem worth paying for if you can only use that particular train on only one scenario..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Best Train Sim on IOSOut of all the train simulators on IOS, this is BY FAR the best. And if I dare say so, it has a better selection of locomotives than Trainz A New Era. Also massive nostalgia points for the inclusion of older maps, as I used to play one of the earlier versions of Trainz on the computer that included some of these maps. One complaint I do have is there should be a full download station so I can download free locomotives and rolling stock that is user created. If that was included, this would be a five star review. ✓ The best train game for iOS/Android! 😀This is the best train simulator for mobile ever! I love how you can experience Trainz without having to buy the pc version for $60. I also love that you can download DLC content! I just can’t stop driving all these trains! I can even reenact TTTE episodes because a variety of the trains look like the actual characters! One problem I have is that you can’t download mods off the internet. If they improved this I can just imagine myself driving Thomas w/ Annie and Clarabel around Sodor! But...This is by far the best mobile train game (getting tane and TS2019 soon 🔥) and I think this is really fun for train lovers who are bored and wanna access trains right in their pocket but there’s something I think the game needs....
