✓ Almost thereI’ve tried many hour-tracking apps and this is the best by far. I didn’t give it 5 stars bc I would like to see a few improvements ... it would be nice to be able to see totals by specific date ranges (weekly, monthly, etc). Also, I’d like to see only the projects I worked on during a particular day show up on the daily project page. ✓ Had the most productive day in yearsI use this app alongside a habit tracker so that I can see all the different options (habits and projects) that I could be doing at any given moment. ✓ Great time tracking AppI love using this app to track activities I should be doing and see were my time is going, theres errors with the apple watch were the phone and watch don’t sync correctly. Example start timer on your phone...then stop it...sometimes it does not stop in the watch and keeps going for days...til it randomly gets added to the clock days later adding huge chunks of time to that project. ✓ Excellent start, room to growI work in an agency where daily timesheets are an unfortunate reality. I also bounce between projects across clients and internal work several times a day. This app makes it very easy to flick between projects in just a couple of taps. The ability to automatically round or come back in the evening and edit the blocks to "snap" to 15 minute increments is very welcome. More features, like searching or sorting a large project list, or "pinning" some projects to the top would be a welcome addition, and I've had some occasional glitches and crashes, but I'm very happy with this app and thoroughly recommend it..Version: 1.1.5
✓ Easy and efficientWith the app I can manage the time I spend on several activities daily and the app can send you reminders in case you didn’t turn it on for the first activity on your day for example. ✓ Its still my “go to” time trackerI was having some issues previously with the app but it seems to have sorted itself out. I freelance and this app works great for keeping track of all my projects. The only problem I had previously was that it wanted me to “restore purchases” each time I signed in. Not sure if others were experiencing the same problem or if it was just me due to purchasing a new phone. I can even look back in history in case I should be audited. If I have any suggestions for the Dev, it would be for more colors and patterns for ‘timers’, which I tie to my customers. ✓ Easy and AffordableI as looking for a simple way to track my time and this app is it!! Love the Siri integration and the ease of use. I like that I can make quick notes and modify my times as needed. It took me less than a day to figure out I wanted to subscribe. ✓ Worthy of 5 StarsI have been using Hours for about two weeks and can honestly say that I am really enjoying this app. It is well thought out and makes it easy to keep track of my time. Switching tasks is a breeze and I like the notifications which remind me to start a timer. I like how simple it is to edit time when I forget to start or switch tasks. I thoroughly enjoy using it. I would have given this app 5 stars but what holds me back is the price. I understand I can use the app for free but the free app does not provide a means of exporting any data or syncing with other devices. The monthly cost of $10.99(CDN) is far too expensive for what the app does. For $11/month I can get a subscription to Office 365 which comes with an entire suite of software programs and apps as well as 1TB of online cloud storage! In my opinion, this app is WAY overpriced for what it actually does and even though I like the app I won't continue using it. The free version of the app just doesn't have the features I want and I am not going to spend the $10.99 for their monthly subscription. If they were to offer it at a more reasonable price I'd reconsider but right now their pricing is out to lunch. Disappointing..Version: 2.10.2
✓ Very happyThis app has saved me time and effort from my day-to-day routine at work. I used to write down all my tasks in a note book everyday and had to do all the math and my own rounding in order to keep track of what I was doing everyday. I got this app during my third week of work and I have not been disappointed since then. Super simple, easy to use and navigate. My only “complaints” are the lacking amount of colors to choose from for each project and that I there’s no “sort by” feature for the timer list. ✓ Best time tracker app for freelanceI’ve tried quite a few time tracking apps to record time I work on different projects and this app handles multiple tasks/projects the best. I can work on something for half hour, jump to a different project/client and do that for an hour, jump back to the previous project and as long as I remember to start the timers it works very well. Additionally, the timeline is super easy to use and it’s simple to adjust time blocks of work as you’re working throughout the day. I know it sounds crazy, but it’s remarkable how many other apps don’t nail a basic necessity like this. The developers have done an outstanding job and I have but one singular gripe: the color palette ? It could really use some punch! I’m sorry for being picky but pastel isn’t my thing ? ✓ Fix the Subscription Renewal/Restore Purchase IssueI like this app a lot. It’s simplified a very tedious process. That said, every single month lately, the subscription expires and it wants me to log in using my AppleID password to restore purchase. Here’s the thing, that’s okay, except that 1) this is the only app I have that requires this on a regular basis, 2) that’s not my day to day password and not so easy to enter on the fly when I’m trying to do something, and 3) why? Happy I got the pro - the web reports creates my timesheet exactly as I need to enter it for my job So intuitive- I’ve yet to wonder how to do something- just poke and go. The iOS syncing with Watch is amazing!! So easy, so effective. ——- Super simple and totally effective!! In just 10 minutes I downloaded, reviewed the options, synced to my watch, changed my watch face to include Hours, set up timers and am using it!! I picked the Pro subscription because I like having the web version available when I’m working on my laptop. But the Watch is so easy to use i suspect I may not even use the web for timing — but I still like the reports as I have to ent my project time for work every week. Couple suggestions: allow input for a dollar amount/hr worked and display that in the report next to the total time worked on the individual project. If there’s a way to do this that I’ve missed please let me know! I’m still having to do the math to convert the time to dollars for my invoices. If you forget to turn the timer on it is very easy to fix that. You can change what a timer is for if you need to. It is important, however, to make good decisions about what you want to track. My company expects us to just write everything down as it happens, which is a huge inconvenience.
