Mindscope - Thought Organizer for Positive User Reviews

Great AppVery handy for my thought mapping needs. Easy to learn how to use and very effective..Version: 1.3.1

Need to be optimized for ios 13I love mindscope coz of its simple and easy control user interface. i usually use for my lecture note preperation. it is quite effective to organize facts and thoughts. But now i was faced with trouble to import my backup file to mindscope in iOS 12 (not in iOS 12). This is my second time trouble :D fisrt is more worse bcoz i loss all data of my notes after upgrading my iOS 13 >.< i give 5 star even it has errors :) i'm waiting hopefully your optimization or solution for my trouble..Version: 1.55

Unique, useful, and funThis is a unique app, elegantly implemented -- a kind of hybrid outliner, concept-mapper, wiki-ish wonder that is great for brainstorming and organizing ideas. And it's so much fun to use! I had a question for the developer and it took him all of 15 minutes to respond. A feature that I requested (along with many others) is already in the works. Don't hesitate to pop for the additional features; the unlock cost is nominal and it covers future enhancements. This is a great app, under active development, from an innovative and responsive developer..Version: 1.0

Love the simplicity and eleganceVery cool. Easy to use and organize thinking, notes, ideas, and much more. Custom grids add an extra dimension for helping visually with the distinct areas of your layout and wide range of uses. Colors and lines are another plus. Very usable and looking to become my main app. Can't wait for an iPhone app (hopefully) with cloud sync..Version: 1.3.1

Excellent app with fantastic potentialThis app is a breath of fresh air. Easy to use with enough core features to let you concentrate on getting your ideas down quickly. Looking forward to seeing syncing and images being added in a future release. Would love to see themes added at some point but overall its a brilliant app - great work, thank you!.Version: 1.3.1

Negative reviews for this app are bizarre to me.Seriously, I have tried many apps trying to find something simple and easy to connect and delete my thoughts. I actually could have just kept using the free version but I used it so much and really appreciate that there are no advertisements. I have spent way more money on apps I will never use again. Thank you developer..Version: 1.55

Love this programI use it everyday to harness information. I hope that the developers will continue to expand this fantastic program. WELL DONE.Version: 1.55

Excellent, highly recommended !!!!Fantastic App, one of the best mapping apps I've tried. It's easy to understand as well as being practical with a great layout. I've found that I'm using this app far more than the bigger named mind mapping Apps. The last reviewer summed it up when he said "...it has the ability to become a game changer...".Version: 1.3.1

Huge potentialI concur with other reviewers. This app has huge potential as a productivity app. Try it out and support the developer to enhance as he plans to hen this could replace so many other app we use..Version: 1.3.1

Fantastic combination of mapping and information managementIt just gets better with every release. The developer has done a great job of keeping this simple yet still having solid capabilities. Feedback resulted in a pretty quick turnaround and am impressed where the product is headed. Definitely worth the in app upgrade. Support a good product and help it grow with your purchase..Version: 1.2

Excellent app but looks like development is deadAn excellent application with so much potential but getting no response from developer. Pity as it's really easy to use.Version: 1.3.1

Do your brain a favor and download this appI can't stop using this app! Great combination of note taking, mind mapping, list making, and brainstorming. Folks familiar with the "dump and sort" method of design thinking or creative problem solving will intuitively understand how to use Mindscope in their workflow. Great job on the interaction design. It's a pleasure to move things around, drag and drop, zoom out, redo, and don't get me started on the click and drag capability for selecting multiple items. Thanks so much for building this! I'll update the review after I purchase the extra features..Version: 1.3.1

Update: 1.5: a real game changer for meUPDATE Latest version makes very significant improvements with UI improvements, keyboard shortcuts and ways to get data in/out CHECK THIS APP OUT This app is rather understated with a minimalist UI (that doesn't get in the way!) and so the potential for the casual user is not necessarily obvious if you just play/tap around for a couple of minutes but be patient.... The ability to do many of the things you can do with a wiki AND and outliner AND a brainstorming diagram tool is really something special. I've already made a few suggestions to the developers for some enhancements and if they can get these to work over time as smoothly as the current product does, something *very* special could emerge. Obviously you can't expect an app to do everything day 1 but joining up a few dots here and there would make all the difference. Now 5 stars ... (was 4 stars) but I am watching this app very carefully - it could be a killer!.Version: 1.5

FantasticExcellent free form concept mapping that works effortlessly. I am faster mapping out ideas with this than any app on any platform (I've used close to all of them). Worth ten times the price charged for the full unlock. Can't wait to see this evolve..Version: 1.0

Exactly what I neededI've been using Scapple on my PC for note taking and was looking for an iOS version and found this instead. Great for organising and nesting ideas. Super easy to use. Does exactly what I want. I sprang for the full version. At a whopping $5 it's totally worth it..Version: 1.3.1

Frustrating in-app only upgradesValuable functionality requires an upgrade, which would be fine if I could. Enterprise iPad users, such as I, however, often have in-app upgrade capability locked off. Initial purchase is enabled by my employer but in-app is not. So, a pro version is a more flexible approach to tiered functionality. In the meantime, I'm unable to pay for that which I happily would..Version: 1.3.1

Intuitive Clean and Easy InterfaceFree form, fluid and easy to use. Quick to learn. Clean and non-fussy interface creates an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to the "upcoming features". Will you please consider iphone and web based apps for syncing across platforms? Was glad o pay $5 to help fund development..Version: 1.3.1

Really excitingI've just found this app and am really excited about it. I've always loved mind pas and outliners, but never have they quite done what I want. This, especially with its ability to convert to text (email) ability will bridge that gap. It's simple, powerful and looks brilliant. The one thing I'd like is to be able to back it up..Version: 1.0.2

A great app with an amazing conceptI was looking for a “notes” app that would let me organize my ideas in a more creative way. As a person with ADHD I find this app amazing to work with. Simple interface, clean and very intuitive. I happily paid the extra $5 for the premium version. If you’re looking for a creative way to organize your thoughts and notes give this app a shot. Also, worth noting this is NOT a paid review. I saw another review mentioning this idea..Version: 1.55

Tinderbox meets Scapple on the iPadHas the visual organization features of both Tinderbox and Scapple. Entries become containers for other entries. Beautifully designed with no window dressing. All the visual options and animations signal information. Cross-linking to common containers is really valuable. Hoping for iCloud or Dropbox synching..Version: 1.3.1

Very usefulHelps keep a lot of things organized. Most mind maps get really busy with a bunch of details. This app helps keep the clutter down by diving into areas you need to work on and nothing else..Version: 1.3.1

Novel Planning 4 starsI’m giving Mindscope 4 stars, because I needed a portable, fast way to fill in all aspects of novel planning, that could then be exported to other apps for desktop based planning and writing. I haven’t explored that aspect yet, so I can’t give it 5 just yet. That will be the icing on this cake. On my desktop I use Scapple from Literature and Latte who make Scrivener. Similar reason in the it’s a free placement system. However, I like Mindscope’s hierarchy system. This lets me have a short and snappy top level, and drill down for detail. Scrivener does something similar, but not free placement and the ipad version isn’t as good as the desktop anyway. For reference, I’m still using the free version. But fast approaching buying and unlocking other goodies..Version: 1.60

So usefulLove this little app - very clear and easy to use and fits how I like to take and organise notes. Looking forward to more functionality..Version: 1.3.1

Simple, Easy, Useful, Awesome! (+ suggestions)I downloaded Mindscope recently and I’m hooked. I keep finding more and more uses for it and have a ton of stuff on it already. It’s very easy to keep records, make lists, arrange ideas, etc. I decided to purchase all the features and I’m glad I did. Making charts, graphs, and calendars for various uses is a piece of cake with the grid backgrounds. Mind mapping, brainstorming, and keeping track of anything is what Mindscope does. It can really help you get organized in your thinking and in your life. The ability to have endless subfolders is very cool and allows me to not get lost in the details and keep my mind on the big picture. I really appreciate all the work the developer has put into this app and how useful has become in my life. I started using it for work every day and it is proving to be quite helpful. It’s also fun to use. Give it try! You’ll be glad you did. To the developer: 1) Thank you! Super job! 2) Please keep updating this app 3) Suggestions: - It would be great if I could change the color of each entry. Having different colors for each entry would add a lot to the already great visual aid Mindscope is (rich text formatting would be nice too) - Adding pictures would be a great addition and make Mindscope even more useful - Increasing the size of the page / workspace would also be wonderful (infinite zoom?) Again, thank you! I’m really looking forward to more updates God bless.Version: 1.55

Fantastic Brainstorming ToolThis app is brilliant for organising thoughts, making new connections and sparking ideas. Like a mindmap but with the ability to drill down to any layer of depth. Just hope it's still being updated, would be a great shame if not. Would like to see ability to use on iPhone, insert images and randomise location of board items. Maybe a flowchart option too. Will be great to use on the new iPad Pro!.Version: 1.3.1

Coolest app!Very useful for any aspect of my life. I teach, I explain, I organize with this app. Let's hope for an web version soon!.Version: 1.3.1

It works my wayThis nifty app is part of my main tools now, after a couple of weeks I am using it. I love its flexibility and ease of use. It has still some user-unfriendliness in its touch interface design. I activate links unwillingly a bit too often. However, I can live with it. The pros outweights by far this rough edge..Version: 1.3.1

Fluid, clear, and effectiveI've had Mediascope for a few days now and I find it to be an excellent text based mindmap app. It has a clear design that makes it easy to start doing useful work. I'm sure its users will come up with many uses. I use it to create a mindmap of to-dos that I want to keep track of but am not yet ready to put them in my calendar with a date and a time. It's easy to create and move my items around the mindmap as I do my planning just by touching them and moving them to where I want. I like that I can export via OPML, a data standard recognized by many outliners and other mindmap apps. Mediascope is welcome addition to my life guidance system. In future updates I'd like to suggest two possibilities- the ability to assign individual colors to any word or letter in the mindmap. Second, to be able to export any individual mindmap element into iCal. I recommend Mediascope to anyone wanting to organize information in a visual manner. Excellent app. UPDATE I've now been using Mindscope for about ten months. And still find it to be a very useful part of my planning process. It is unbelievably fluid to revise, extend and, combine them. About a week ago I migrated all my mindmaps off of my old iPad and on to my new iPad Pro. I emailed each separate mindmap to myself, downloaded and imported all 22 mindmaps into the new installation. It was cumbersome but it worked. Perhaps the developer will provide a more elegant migration method in a future upgrade. At this point my biggest concern is that the developer hasn't updated the app in a year. I hope this isn't the first step on the road to obsolescence. However the big picture is that Mindscope is an excellent mindmapping program that I use almost every day. UPDATE 8 Oct 2019 I’m running Ver 1.5 and I can’t get into my mindmaps. I reply no to the question about using iCloud for backups. I get the confirmation reply. Then the app hangs up on a “Welcome to MindScope 1.5 splash screen. Crickets. Please advise asap. Thank you..Version: 1.55

ExcellentExcellent app and easy to use. Mindscope is perfect for mind mapping. It does everything we need to put ideas down. J-M.Version: 1.1.1

Awesome AppGreat idea for an app! It's simple and excellent, great app! Great for organising and todo things. Highly recommended! -Aussie Wombat.Version: 1.53

Brilliant and usefulThis little app has become my daily go to for lists, notes, information keeping. It is intuitive, simple and lightening fast. The Developer is friendly, helpful and responsive. You've got to try this. It's worth its weight in gold..Version: 1.3.1

Perfect for divergent thinkers!Mindscope is precisely the app I’ve been looking for for a long time - I can pop out thoughts without having to have a particular connection already in mind as you do with most mind-mapping software - just a blank page which can then develop its own theme. Great for divergent thinkers who don’t necessarily want lines and arrows and boxes and grids. I bought the paid version, more to show support for this wonderful app than because I need the things it offers. Here’s hoping my review can help bring its star rating closer to the 5+ it deserves!.Version: 1.55

Simple BeautyExtremely useful tool for creatives. I like that you can drill down into ideas to develop them, and mind map at any level too. Looking forward to adding photos, and would like to have the ability to use different fonts too..Version: 1.3.1

Great! This is an amazing, potentially game-changer app. I've owned most mapping apps out there out there but as other users have noted they tend to focus too much on style over substance. This gets you focused on the "board" immediately in front and no more, no less. With a few more tweaks -- and the upcoming iPhone sync -- I can see this completely taking over even more established services like Workflowy. Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.3.1

Fantastic!You’re my hero!!.Version: 1.55

Really lovelyAn elegant and beautiful app, and I'm still just using the free version. I downloaded it just to try it out, and now I find myself using it more and more, and in more creative ways. I love being able to brainstorm or experiment and then mess with everything after the fact..Version: 1.3.1

Amazing App!!This is an amazing app! You can use it to map out ideas, spreading things out - then you can drill down on one specific idea, go to a deeper level and expand on that. Great for story writing when you are brainstorming ideas, and you can work on character development, action ideas, etc. It is great for event planning and so much more! Well worth the small cost. This app is an absolute MUST HAVE. And the support from the developer is extremely prompt and friendly!.Version: 1.3.1

How do you rate a 10-star app with 5 stars?Take a look at the other reviews and you will discover all the users are raving about MindScope! It's time to stop reading and find out why for yourself. Download the app and join the crowd. --A very happy customer..Version: 1.3.1

GreatA great app for me. I have a little trouble with some ADD and this app really is helping me to stay on track and outline situations clearly. I am currently working on a program proposal, not a small project, and it is progressing very well. I hope we soon can upload pictures..Version: 1.3.1

PromisingReally good layered note-taking - could do with sync to Dropbox as well as iCloud..Version: 1.53

Very Good Mind Mapping AppThis app is incredible in its simple yet elegant and powerful capabilities for mapping ideas, thoughts and notes. Would love to see support of images and web links and then it would be perfect. Please keep developing this..Version: 1.55

ReviewExcellent App.Version: 1.51

Just what I wantedI wasn't sure just what it was I wanted but I knew I wasn't getting there. This app popped up and I thought, well, I'll give it a try. It turns out it was just what I wanted. It's simple, and yet that simplicity hides the sophistication. Short pieces of text arranged for best meaningfulness and focus. Drill down without the finer grained information getting I the way. I guess I'm kind of a top-down organizer and this app keeps it simple and controlled..Version: 1.0

Nice take on mind mappingThis app takes a different approach to brainstorming/mind mapping, and is a refreshing alternative to the usual way of capturing and visualizing ideas. Well worth your time to try, and then well worth the low price to unlock useful additional features..Version: 1.1

Unique iOS app, ideal for free-form outliningI started on this because a review compared it to the Mac app, Scapple, which I'm also a big fan of. I found it does function similarly more like Scapple than any iOS app I've used (not that I'm an expert on such apps) although one cannot control the look of individual elements as much and instead of using an infinite canvas it allow you to hyperlink between what it calls boards. I think this is actually better than an infinite canvas, but nevertheless an infinite canvas would not go astray. I like having the option of pure free-form arrangements, a big plus. Some improvements that could be made: (1) boards are not described in the guide, and this is needed because it takes a while to realize that you can only create a new board by editing the guide itself, which is very counterintuitive. (2) if you copy and paste a group of entries, it drops them exactly on top of the copied entries, such that you do not even realize they are there. And you cannot then move them as a bloc, because group-selecting copies both originals and copies. (3) I would like a side-menu option for undo/redo. I found the two-finger swiping unpredictable, and this seemed to be made worse by the fact that undo-ing did not always seem to undo the steps in the same sequence that they were done. I got to be rather anxious about each time I wanted to undo. All in all, however, I really like this app, and see myself using it a lot..Version: 1.52

Functional and effectiveThe more that I use this the more useful it becomes. Exactly what it says - an outline tool with an intuitive interface. Just don’t plan to write a thesis with it but great to plan one out. A couple of minor interface improvements will make this more awesome.Version: 1.53

Fantastic mind mapping and notes tool...ever!This latest and greatest update was worth the wait! All the issues now resolved Mindscope is better than ever. Love this app! I also use Scapple and Tinderbox, and this ranks in that group of mind tools for me. GreatJob!.Version: 1.52

A Nice Implementation!Mindscope is an intriguing and usable app for brainstorming, note taking, and visual thinking. A nice implementation of blending mind mapper, outliner, and notepad. It reminds me of the great early PC application Axon Idea Processor. Please provide us with some updates and new features to make this app even better and more usable..Version: 1.3.1

IPad must haveMind-blowing app.Version: 1.3.1

Great tool!Great tool! Love the infinite ability to zoom into topic and free for outlining! There's always a way to get deeper into a topic, and this lets you break down individual things into parts in an easy and intuitive way. I'd say 5 stars but it's got some usability challenges, and I'd love an iPhone version, but the potential is there and easy to see. Great stuff! Looking forward to new versions!.Version: 1.0.2

Unique app for organized chaosI find that Mindscope fills a unique niche for people who don't quite want corkscrew boards or index cards but at the same time want some way to organize their thoughts. Mindscope is almost like part personal wiki and part corkscrew board. Mindscope does what it does very well and carves its own unique path. If you want a dedicated mindmaps app, look elsewhere but if you want an app that has an alternative way to organize your thoughts, download now. It's free anyway, and found it worth it to pay to unlock more features. I must add that I found the developer to very friendly and responsive to requests..Version: 1.3

What did I do before? As a musician, writer, and teacher, scheduling is a must - this app is an essential tool!.Version: 1.55

Perfect if you find other apps confiningThe beauty of Mindscope is that it’s the closest thing to an infinitely large table with an infinite amount of sticky notes that happens to work perfectly within the confines of a screen. Love it..Version: 1.55

Love Your AppI’ve only fiddled - usually I use an app extensively before reviewing it - but I LOVE this easy to use, simple yet perfect for laying out websites app. I can think of other uses as well, but that’s my main goal right now. I searched high and low and have several other apps I could use to map out my websites, but this one is so much better. I love apps with little to no learning curve and intuitive, ergonomic interface. Mindscope hits the spot! I’m really picky, so really: THANK YOU!.Version: 1.55

Like a mindmap, but better!I wish I had this program when I was in medical school. It allows me to put as little (or as much) info as needed onto the page. A lot of the times when I studied, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of material I had to learn. Mindmaps, with their silly lines, made things more complicated. A nice, simple program like this definitely would have helped me memorize things like the branches of the brachial plexus. I am using it right now for my todo lists, and when my kids are older, I’m sure they will find it helpful for schoolwork too..Version: 1.55

Nearly Perfect Fit!I've been looking for a program that would cover more of my needs for pre-writing my books, and have found nearly everything in Mindscope. Combination mindpapper, outliner, and organized filing system, Mindscope allows me to flesh out characters, play with character choice and consequence, outline chapters, and so much more. I love it! The only things I'd wish for as an improvement would be the ability to add pictures, The ability to change font and font color beyond monochromatic, and a version that would sync with Windows. No complaints though. I'm grateful for the amazing app I've got!.Version: 1.3.1

Great Program. Small new bug, tho.Very interesting program! It's been growingly steadily in power. The new Link function, however, has a bug, which shows up when you try to search for an element which has links. The app crashes and when you re-enter, voila! , the link is ... GONE !.Version: 1.3

Looks good so farDidn't spend too much time trying to understand how it works. Still learning and it seems okay..Version: 1.3.1

Very niceEvery now and then you run across an app that just feels right. The developer gets it right and you feel a connection with the app in a way that makes you want to use it. This app is very intuitive. Simple yet able to handle large projects. Reminds me of WorkFlowy simple, effective. I have one request: The menu that is on the side would be better if it appeared in a circle around whatever item you have selected so that your finger would not have to travel very far. Long press on the word and up pops a menu that is arranged in a circular fashion around the item. I think this make it even easier to use. Great job!.Version: 1.55

AmazingThis app is beautiful, does what it says, and really helps me organize my thoughts :D I really want a feature that helps me implement pictures, hopefully that comes soon 😅🙂 thanks!!.Version: 1.55

Great for organizing thoughts, needs Apple Pencil suppportThis app is amazing for organizing chaotic thoughts. But I need the ability to create notes by writing with the Apple Pencil. Then it would be nearly perfect. It’s also needs a top level menu to separate multiple lists..Version: 1.55

For the love of text editors and wikisApp store Review Finally iMandalArt done right mashed with Daedalus Was the first thing I thought of but that is not to detract from the uniqueness of Mindscope Mind mappers, thought organizers, index card arrangers are hard to get right with speed and novelty It's like mind mapping with a text editor As a fan of wikis, Mindscope feels right at home Impressive is the well thought user experience as if the developer uses the app personally Breadcrumbs, pinch to level and search are all well thought out aids to thought node retrieval The user interface is perfect and I hope any feature updates will not degrade performance like attachments of images sound etc. In fact MindScope is perfect as is usage wise but I would like to see the ability to import from the system clipboard or plain text lists Pasting from the system clipboard is possible into Mindscope as well as dragging in a text selection As well as exporting from the share sheet a whole board but The text bullet list export is not plain text but instead HTML Pure plain text would be preferred without the markup This review was composed in Mindscope and exported as such and HTML markup removed with a Workflow script.Version: 1.55

Truly unique and awesome appDeveloper has created an awesome app with a wide variety of uses. This latest major update included a bunch of user suggestions and fixes for iOS 8. Very quick turn-around. Honestly, very glad I found this. Easily worth the money. My hat is off to John. Thank you again!.Version: 1.3.1

Fantastic tool!I just found this treasure and can't wait to enter all of my plot bunnies, 2do's, and notes for work! Hoping for continued updates like inserting images as mentioned, plus storage/backup or exporting and handwriting instead of having to type such as noteshelf or notability (too much? Happy to pay extra!). Love this app so far it is very well thought out and executed!.Version: 1.3.1

Only Mapping/Outlining Program I Use!This is super-functional and easy to use tool for laying down and organizing your ideas spatially. I’ve tried many mind-mapping type programs on multiple platforms (iOS, Mac, Windows), but with the possible exception of Scapple always returned to pencil and notepad when I wanted to brainstorm or organize my thoughts. But now I reach for my iPad and Mindscope instead. It’s not fancy or full of graphical enhancements, but is extremely easy to use and the ability to easily drill down and create new ‘layers’ or subtopics is great (and sets it apart from Scapple.) When I need to continue work on my notebook computer, the OPML and text export work really well. The developer is also responsive to questions and feature requests. This app reminds me of WorkFlowy (my choice of outliner)- no frills but super functional..Version: 1.55

Very niceClean, easy always missed something like this, used a lots of mind mapping maps . Love the clean interface. very intuitiv. Wishes: import feature form for other mind maps (OPML) , doodle function.Version: 1.3.1

InvaluableIMO this app shouldn't be viewed as competing against other mindmapping/outliners etc. It really comes into it's own when viewed the front end to an OPML based workflow. For example: Starting with Mindscope: capture thoughts into iPhone (really quick and frictionless - no bogging down with a complex UI). Tidy up on iPad if needed. Output to OPML Use iThoughts or OmniOutliner to further develop the basic content. Both work equally well on iOS or Mac Other options include Scrivener and Tinderbox for the really adventurous Mindscope = great front-end to this workflow.Version: 1.55

A brilliant combination(I believe this is only the second or perhaps third time I have written a review for an app) I have only played with Mindscope for a few hours and, while it is not for everyone, if you like outliners, mindmaps etc you may be, as I was, totally bowled over by it. It is clean, responsive and, while good on my iPhone, works like a dream on my iPad. The designer seems to have a achieved an optimum balance between apparent simplicity with an underlying depth. And even more importantly, it is fun to use. I would however suggest that you _will_ need the 'unlock everything' option which changes this from a rather nice product to an amazing one..Version: 1.52

Exactly what I was looking forAn almost perfect blend of mind maps (too much) and outlines (too little). It works the way my mind works! I can see so many uses for this app so I hope an OSX version appears one day. I'll be using it for studying, teaching and everything in-between. Well-worth the high-ish price for the full version..Version: 1.3.1

Minimal & IntuitiveExcellent app. The best free-form brainstorming tool in the App Store and I have quite a few. Scapple for Mac comes closest to Mindscope in its combination of function, ease of use and minimalism but Mindscope is better. Developer: make a companion Mac app and earn my eternal gratitude!.Version: 1.0.2

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!Update to the update: V1.5 comes along and rocks my world again! I LOVE this app (Apple, please buy it!). Check it out and especially check it out if you have a Bluetooth keyboard! You can navigate the entire app with the keyboard and it feels wonderful to use! Again, I don’t have a relationship with this developer and I am soooo grateful for his work. If you love information management, you must have this app on your iPad! Update: OK, to add to my review below, the developer is amazingly responsive. This update has two specific features I asked for a few days ago. What a turnaround time! I love this app! This is EXACTLY what I've been hoping for. How in all that is holy did this just pop up on my radar? I love outliners as that's how my brain works but they're only somewhat visual. Every item has the same appearance even though two items may have the same parent child relationship but have a dramatic difference in importance to me. This creates noise that's not easy to filter out unless I curate what's in the outline (but I need to collect all types of information regardless of importance). The differences in context/importance creates a need for a way to visually 'draw' out thoughts on a canvas without losing the hierarchy and ability to drill down into sub-levels. You've done this - brilliantly! Workflowy is an example of an amazing outliner but suffers from the issue I refer to above. Evernote, Simplenote, etc are great but there is no structured way to make a visual relationship. This app reminds me of Tinderbox which is close to what I need but not a mobile app. Also TheBrain - which is awesome on the desktop but also suffers from no offline support. If I could get search I will dump my entire life in here. I so need to send your mother flowers for having you!.Version: 1.53

Truly awesome appThis is one of the best ideas and most intelligent implementations of a tablet app I've encountered. The only reason it's not got five stars? It doesn't sync yet, or back itself up, which makes it a little nerve-wracking for those who obsess over data redundancy....Version: 1.3.1

Needs Settings! This app is really great, comparable to scapple, but you get to use touch which is nice. Consider adding an option to speed up or remove those slow, rather ugly animations. They give me vertigo lol..Version: 1.55
