β Just like the original PC version!!I played Crimsonland nearly everyday when it first came out on PC in 2003 and just like the rest of the community we kept waiting for the sequel CL2.. And we still hope.. But i grabbed this app and i am just amazed because it feels just like playing the original game.. The touch controls are great but i'm sure hoping that the latest game controllers are supported.. for people like me that prefer the joystick for this type of game! @10Tons : I know that PS4 and PS Vita versions are out also but please release the game for PS3 you got players waiting!!!.Version: 1.0.5

β That last level thoughThe ultra survival game where you unlock perks and weapons and more game modes through the quests. Each level has 10 stages that you need to survive and kill all the enemies to win. But... The last stage of the last level is impossible. Boss monsters spawn like normal monsters and rip your face off like a stick of butter through a hot blender. You will not survive but keep coming back over and over to try again. Get. This. β Great port of a classic PC gameCrimson land is an old, but awesome computer game that translates very well to the mobile platform. The design is much the same (which is a good thing!) but with added progression mechanics via the use of quest mode to unlock perks and weapons for survival and the other modes. β Old school top down shooter to satisfy your urge to paint the screen redThink Smash T.V. for the SNES but with an arsenal of unique guns, powerups, perks, different game modes and more hordes of monsters than you can shake your wee lil blow torch at π€π»Survival modes are addictive, challenging, and fun slaying thousands of rabid packs of aliens, lizard men, and multiplying spideroids all the while trying to rake up the most points before being swarmed to death. Figuring out effective weapon+perk combinations is rewarding and satisfying. Trying to beat your high score in the survival modes will keep you playing well after unlocking the games weapons and perks..Version: 1.0.8
β Finally!!I played this game sooo much when I was little but now that it's on here my life is complete!! The fact that I can play one of my favorite games anytime I want and it's still the same is just perfect. If more developers did this then the AppStore would make a bunch more money. I do have one complaint though. The co-op needs have wifi capabilities and not just local gamepad connection. Other than this I love it.Version: 1.0.7

β Help, please.I am unaware of how to use the co-op function as it doesn't show up. Do I need to beat the game on all difficulties to be able to play co-op? I just finished normal mode but have yet to see the option to play co-op. Otherwise a great game and a blast to play..Version: 1.0.8

β The ultimate survival gameMore than 10 years ago, I remember going to my friends house where he wanted to show me a new game. That game was Crimsonland. We spent hours, days and months trying to see who can survive the longest. Over time I forgot about this. Focusing on my own studies, business and other things. Then for some reason, I thought about it, I wanted to play it again, and strangely enough I checked the App Store. And here it is. After playing it for a couple of days I realized, this is the same Crimsonland it was 10 years ago, and that is a good thing. It is the most fun I have had in games for a long time. The ultimate survival game. It does not strive to be anything else. You get dropped off on an alien planet, your mission; survive the onslaught. Along the way you collect a huge variety of guns in order to shoot the mix of spiders, zombies, aliens in all shapes,colors and sizes. As you take them down you eventually level up, this allows you to pick one perk out of four random ones. These perks can give you an edge in battle. They differ from faster reload times, to larger clips, instant health, damage boost, becoming radioactive, poisoning bullets, and more. A lot more. But even with all these things, you will die, but that is the idea. You have to try and see how long you can survive. I cannot stress enough how good this game is. The ultimate survival game. β AwesomeI played this game all the time back on the old school PC days. Love it on the iPad. However, level 2.10 on hard has me stopped. I don't understand why you don't earn the power ups from XP from killing the splitting spiders like you do with everything else. Without those that level is basically impossible. β Everything great about a top-down shooterThis is one solid game, very satisfying to play, addictive with beautiful graphics. This is a tremendous improvement of the original Crimson Land (I remember it being called Crimson World but I donβt think it is still available). There is plenty of blood, dozens of guns, perks, and enemies. This highly polished version reminds me of another old twin stick top-down shooter called βBlood n Gunsβ. The plethora of weapons, enemies and blood, even the general look of the game is very similar, but darker. One thing I liked about the game that Iβd like to hopefully see in an update, was in survival modes, you could acquire armor, shield, health, perks, and they would build up on a meter. I think that would increase the playability of this game. Other things Iβd love to see in future updates- Iβd like to see another button for thrown items like grenades, flares, etc. The ability to zoom in 2x to see the character details better More levels in a future update, game modes, possible death match, online? possible ways to permanently upgrade your character (story mode?) More complex missions involving rescue, moving to different locations, etc. This is definitely a 5 Star game, the free version is great but if you enjoy twin stick shooters with lots of blood, guns, and upgrades, then you really owe it to yourself to drop $4.99 and buy the full version of Crimson Land. You pay more than that for an extra value meal anyhow. -Great job devs, I look forward to future updates!.Version: 1.0.8
