✓ Unexpected wokeI was excited to download and use the app as I’m always looking for good apps to deepen my Bible studies. Opening the app and scrolling down through the sections, one was titled black voices….. really? In Christ we are all one people and to label like this is divisive. I hate how things like this have inched into our worship. Get back to strictly biblical teachings. I deleted because I have other apps that don’t do this. ✓ Overall GoodI love this site but it seems to run the best on the website platform. I struggle with it on roku, iPhone and tablet applications. As of recently I can’t even open the app at all on my iPhone! Help!! I mainly watch on devices due to my lifestyle. Sooooo, please fix this or I will have to cancel my subscription. ✓ No sound on iPadI writing this for the iPad app, not iPhon or website. I thought something done to the glory of GOD should be at a higher level. Sadly not true with this app. From what I can tell the content is great and suspect the creators won be horrified if they knew how poorly their service to the LORD was being implemented in software. Apart from being unusable on iPad if I go to the app support page hyperlink just above these comments I get page not found on the Harper Collins website. These are simple things that should have been fixed before going live on even the entry level app by inexperienced team. How this is in the store for two months (possibly longer) without the developer knowing about would normally get people fired on a mediocre software team. ✓ Very disappointedIf I could give no stars I would. This app just doesn’t work. I have never heard sound from the app at all. I contacted support and they suggested I reinstall the app ( I had done this before contacting support). There only other suggestion was to see if I had muted the sound on my phone. I stream all the time through other apps and have zero problem. ✓ Difficult To NavigateNone of the tabs on the app pull up anything. The only way I could find my study was to search for it. I saved it to ‘My List’, but can’t find a ‘My List’! Each time I want to watch one of the video sessions, I have to search for my study again. So far the videos play fine and no sound issues as others have stated. ✓ Love/Hate RelationshipWhile I love having access to a plethora of video content & have been using the app as an aid in leading my women’s ministry group, it’s very frustrating that I’m unable to actually read the “free” first chapter of the study guides as the app keeps crashing when you click the links. ✓ Customer service is not good.Tried canceling my account because I didn’t need the service, emailed 3 seperate times before my trial was up, NO RESPONSE still to this day. There is no option to cancel without emailing the customer support but they don’t answer. ✓ No soundI cannot get any sound on the app. I have deleted and reinstalled several times per their only recommendation. I made sure the sound wasn’t muted, rebooted my phone. Everything I could think of. When I came back to reinstall again I realized that I am not alone. Apparently it doesn’t really work for iPhones. I chose a subscription with the idea I’d be able to use the app. Well I will be ending it after the trial. I have not been able to access the videos and customer service has been painfully slow in responding. The content shows up in my purchased content, but when I go to play the videos I get a “something went wrong error 3” and the content doesn’t play. ✓ Links Still Not WorkingDespite having the most recent version of the app, which was updated yesterday, the links in the app still aren’t working. I can click on and watch the videos for the studies in the app, but if I try to click on any of the other links for the studies, such as the study guide or sermon notes, the app crashes and closes. I tried several times with several different studies and the app crashed every single time. I don’t have this problem at all when I access links from the website. ✓ DisappointedI subscribed to this app so that I could share the videos on a Bible study I led. My members never could access the videos. I spent several hours on the chat line to try to get it resolved but never could, one of my members also spent over an hour on live chat trying to get access and never could. The site has some great stuff but I needed the videos to share with my group. Very frustrating and disappointing. The instructions on how to cancel the subscription is hard to follow.
