✓ Do not get sucked inUnless you’re willing to spend thousands and keep spending then don’t buy into it. There’s only so far you can go without spending and that’s not far at all even with generous alliance members giving you some of their resources but many things can’t be gifted, you have to buy them. And unless you’re willing to wait billions of days for research/construction to be completed then again more $$$ for the developers. And when you think you’re remotely near to completing the research (for better equipment) the devs bring in something else new and so back to square one. Need a shield for your base so you don’t get attacked? Guess what, $$$, and you only get one in a pack. The devs are leeches, actually worse as a leech will stop when it’s full but these leeches never stop. I only pop in now and then for the convo, I have no commander and no troops. ✓ Packages and shieldsAddictive game with plenty of glitches. The game forces you to spend money on the packages are too expensive. All the blue prints needed require you to buy there packages. There is no way to upgrade past level 22 strong hold without a blueprint that requires you to buy a package that they don't offer. Every time you by a package the game stops offering the cheaper packages and forces player to spend more money to get stuff that you need along with a lot of useless stuff that you can never use or sell to a black market. There is a problem with the 30 day shields expiring early. A member in our alliance had his 30 day shield expiring 20 days to early. ✓ Peace shieldsI still do enjoy playing this game BUT there are some problems. And the reason I am giving it a one star is cuz of how aggravating that they changed the shields to loyalty points. And how would you feel if you spent 100 and more dollars only to basically have it wasted cuz someone attacked you cuz you earn enough loyalty cuz their is only so many things to earn loyalty. ✓ Ridiculous where this game headsI started playing this game and it was fun, but the higher your base got the more they developed different goals and outcomes to make you spend money to keep up with the game. If you have thousands to spend then this is the game for you. Upgrades go from minutes to days and that is fine as most games have days even a week to upgrade at high end levels. One thing they've all had in common is a cluster of ads, more ads, and a clustered UI (User Interface) that is annoying to look at and navigate. Not once have I logged in and not gotten barraged by offers to buy the latest and greatest freemium currency pack for a discount. Discount this, discount that. Come on, I'm not new to the mobile game market. In a few days time, you'll have another "better" discount. Repeating cycle. Also as some have said, after a while, you'll need to spend more to keep up with the other crazier players who spend money to continue being on top of the rest. Its a never ending cycle of crazy players spending their life savings on this to keep being king, only to be topped by someone else who is crazier and richer than them. This game requires money instead. I love watching rigged boxing matches where you pay off the refs and judges and win because you bribed the refs and judges (sarcasm). This game is equivalent to Steam's Early Access program. Buy an uncompleted game in hopes that a pile of 💩 gets polished and turned into something halfway decent, only for the devs to abandon you and run off with the money, leaving you with an uncompleted or terrible product. Sure, some Early Access games come out great. But plenty of people abuse that system and pump out mediocre/terrible games just to take your money and leave. I've been on Steam long enough to see this stuff and have an idea of what the outcome is. Then has to shield for days to “months” yes use a 30 day shield because I kept on getting raided by stronger bases who spent thousand just to stay caught up. ✓ Don't waste your time and moneyIt was good in the beginning and fairly balanced but the developers have made it a ridiculously fast moving game that required buying packs weekly to keep up with the weekly over powered updates they add each week. A big part of the purchase was missing! There is no complaints procedure. I emailed the support team and they asked for proof which I then sent. No reply for a few days after that, I chased every day. I got a reply saying a specialist team is now dealing with my complaint,that was over 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for my reply. Without an army of that size, smaller bases are repeatedly just destroyed by a top handful of players.
