✓ Overall great game; needs one fixThis is a great music game. People who play Deemo will notice this is almost exactly played the same. No story, which is a bit disappointing, but fun nonetheless. One problem I noticed with this game though is the touch recognition. Basically you're only allowed 2 presses at a time. If you try to do any more, you'll cancel all of them out, leaving you with misses. Every other music game allows you to have more than 2 touch responses at the same time without affecting the gameplay. It does not make the game unplayable, but it's a nuisance, especially for people who play on tablets. I recommend this be fixed/updated with a future patch..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Fantastic gameThe songs are quite catchy to my taste and the art is nice. The note detection feels quite snappy and is customizable even on a song by song basis. I have put hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the genre of mobile rhythm games and this is one of two games that have exceeded my expectations (the other being deemo which has more of a serious feel than this game overall). The animations and backgrounds while the songs play are quite pleasant, high quality, and surprisingly, lagless ( on ipad mini 3 at least). Pick up this game if you want a warm and pleasant (and of course challenging if you wish) rhythm game experience. I look forward to future updates with more songs and backgrounds!.Version: 1.2.3

✓ Awesome game!!This game is awesome. I love the note layout on all the tracks I’ve played so far (15-ish songs), nothing feels desynched or unfair. I haven’t run into tracks that require the use of 3 fingers yet. And all the songs and themes are nice. However the menu is a bit clunky to operate cuz once you have all the songs you have to individually scroll through all of them. Some sorting methods like storing folders/favourites/genres/ect. would be nice. Also most of the songs are Chinese so if you have some bias against Chinese songs there’s that to take into consideration. However I got used to the Chinese songs so this isn’t necessarily a negative. Other than that this game is great!! Defiantly worth..Version: 1.9.2

✓ A great game that'll you'll have to drop a buck or two to enjoy.I really want to like this game. Gameplay wise it's fantastic! It feels super responsive and even when swapping between themes I never feel like notes are being obscured or I'm missing ones I could've sworn I hit. You will be strapped for luck if you're a thumb player and want to play inferno songs as they have triple notes. The only problem is most of the free music isn't all that great and there isn't all that much in comparison to other rhythm games you can pick up for the same price. There are some gems but for the most part they just aren't that great which is why I think you'd have to come in knowing you're gonna drop an extra couple bucks to get a song pack. (Though unless I'm mistaken which I could be; You really need to hope that pack is also good as there doesn't seem to be a preview option.) TL;DR It's a fantastic game with great visuals that's brought down by it's lacking music selection and low difficulty. ✓ Good game but terrible first impression and interfaceThis game is quite famous and has PC and console versions, so I was excited to try it out as I am a big rhythm game fan. I start it and get taken to some really confusing song selection screen with some kiddy Chinese song selected. The interface is a mess and confusing to use and the starting songs also have a really kiddy play field. I was wondering if I had even downloaded the right game and not some weird knockoff version. Exploring through the song list will give you more “typical” music game songs with more serous play fields, but I wonder if a lot of people will even bother searching them out since it’s so easy to get turned off from the beginning. The song list is organized by play field skin which I assume is by song release date and no way to organize it by difficulty, title, etc. There’s no easy way to see what songs have the hardest difficulty charts except just flipping through one by one. Also the game’s update text and even title occasionally is Chinese instead of English. What a mess. It’s a shame because the game is pretty good with a huge variety of songs and constant updates. The songs are keysounded which is rare for mobile music games, and there’s plenty to keep you busy. The lifetime unlock is a very reasonable price and includes all future songs. It’s a must have for music game fans, and I really wish the devs would redo the interface to make it a game they’ll want to play from the beginning!.Version: 2.3.2

✓ Pretty damn goodI actually stumbled across this game while looking for Deemo, so I'm going to compare it to Deemo. Both of the games are very similar, you tap on bars as they hit the line at the bottom of the screen and do it continuously to get larger and larger combos. The thing is, Musynx is a whole lot more forgiving than Deemo. It is basically impossible to hit a note too early, so when a large amount of them come at you all you need to do is spam the line to get "Great" or "Exact" hits without fail. In Deemo's case, if you can't hit the notes well enough, you lose the combo and get a reduction to the score you would have gotten. The atmosphere of the two games is different as well. Musynx is a bright, cheerful, colourful and graphically pleasing game with more modern songs. Deemo on the other hand is a dark, simple game and has no real colour other than black, white and grey with mostly piano songs on it. I play both games and I say that they are both amazing. I like Musynx for it's looks and because of it's "newness" and I like Deemo for it's simplicity, songs and story. But in reality it's down to personal preference... If you prefer dance-ish, "modern" music, nice graphics and a free price tag, then get Musynx. But if you prefer calm, orchestral-based music (well most of them are), and you don't care about stunning graphics or a price tag of $1.50 (i think), then get Deemo. ✓ An iOS Rhythm Game that Gets the Basics RightFirst of all, it's key sounded, which is already a huge plus to anyone who has delved into the world of Asian Rhythm Games before. I didn't notice any calibration options, but the default sync felt great over wired headphones unlike some other games on the App Store (coughdeemocough), and it felt like I was hitting the notes just a little bit early. The gameplay is about what you'd expect for a rhythm game on the phone, with everything being designed around being played with just your thumbs. The custom themes that most (but not all) of the songs had were a really nice touch that might make this particular game stand out among the decent crowd of similar games available, and the UI in general was clean. Really, the only (slight) disappointment was the soundtrack, which starts off somewhat varied but turns into the usual selection of in-house electronic music about halfway down the song list, so here's hoping whatever song packs these guys release help to alleviate that. UPDATE August 2015: Just noticed that the results screen music changes depending on what rank you got, with the actual song (from pack #3) playing on an EX clear. I play it on mobile, my switch, and PC, and while i wish those versions got updated more, the mobile version can keep that up while they others aren’t. That said, there is one major complaint I have with the mobile version. I have an iPad Pro with a 120hz screen, and MUSYNX can’t match that, which makes it appear quite jarring and makes inputs feel less responsive even though I know my device can do better. The iPhone 13 pro is also a signal that 120hz support is going to be coming to iOS more widely, so I hope you guys will be able to add support soon!.Version: 2.6.8
