✓ Should be betterIt’s not very responsive. I bought it for my toddler and thought maybe he was just having a hard time buts it’s hard for me to play as well. My son LOVES anything spongebob so he plays everyday and everyday he gets mad as heck because it doesn’t respond when he swipes. An update would be really nice. ✓ So not worth $3.99!I'll be honest, I'm a big fan of spongebob, but I think they could do better. At first, the game seemed worth the price, but once I read the reviews more and played the game more, I realised that it was definitely not worth $3.99! In fact I think it should've been free or at least a .99! But not $3.99! The game doesn't let you have any characters except sponge bob, when you have power ups, you don't collect cotton candy, and you basically have to pay for the formula bottle if you want more! Tell me, is this game worth the price? NO! The game is OK though, graphics aren't bad, but for the price they're asking, it should be really good. I'm very disappointed. ✓ Good, but quite addictingI like this this game, but I think this is way better than subway surfers but if you like subway, surfers that’s fine but I think this game is way more. ✓ Coins are uselessFor a paid game they really force you to make in app purchases. The coins basically become worthless after a few upgrades. I could understand if it was free to play but a paid app should not force you to use in app purchases. Do not purchase. My kid has 70,000+ coins that are absolutely worthless and defeats the whole purpose of further collection in game. The formulas are the true gold but you're lucky to find 1 out of 20 games played. And you need at least 5-10 to do anything. Only way to really get them is purchases. Very disappointed that I paid for a game that forces me to spend money..Version: 1.1

✓ Good Potential but DisappointingSponge on the Run could have been a great addition to the 3-lane Subway Surfer-style game, however, there are many issues with both the design and gameplay. Starting off, the game is somewhat laggy and poorly optimised. The gameplay does not feel smooth at all, which takes a lot of potential fun out of the experience. Some of the menu icons have low resolution, but the 3D assets and map look overall. Secondly, there’s only a single character you can play as, being Spongebob, and very few instructions or info about how to play the game. The mini-games found within the game have very brief instructions and will require you to play them several times to understand what’s going on. The only things you can unlock by playing are costumes and power-up upgrades, meaning there’s no no objective or purchase to work towards while playing the game. The game has no story or introduction, though I can assume it is based on the movie, which I have not yet seen. Overall, I generally enjoy this style of gameplay, but as it is currently, it feels extremely unfinished and I can for sure that it is absolutely not worth the £3.49 I spent on it. There are better games of this kind that are free and much more enjoyable, and from what I have seen from other old reviews, the same problems have been present for more than 6 years and are still yet to be fixed. TL;DR: As a childhood Spongebob fan, I wanted to give this a shot, but unfortunately, from my experience, I cannot say it is worth it since it’s underdeveloped and abandoned..Version: 1.2.1
