My Water: Daily Drink Tracker for Negative User Reviews

Great app!I’m the type of person who loses track of time... I keeping forgetting to drink water during a busy day! This app has helped me to get through a routine... totally recommend it! AAA+++.Version: 3.6.6

LocationsNot bad, I have been too three water machines and they have been empty ? Maybe a feature that can send notifications from the machine to the app so users can see what machines are full of water , better yet how much water is left in the machines ..Version: 3.6

DoneI don’t need this app 👍🏻.Version: 4.8.7

Not enough free contentToo many ads not enough free content.Version: 4.9.25

Too many notificationsI got this app a few days ago and enjoy it, however I turned the notifications on and set it to 2 hr reminder increments, but after the first day, I started getting regular notifications of encouragement that were coming in in less than 2 hr increments. I thought it was because on day 2, I forgot to add my water intake, but even when I did, I kept receiving the encouragement notifications. Encouragement is great and all, but this is highly annoying. Today, I entered my water and tea intake and not 5 min later got the notifications. If the app just stuck with the “time to drink water” reminders, I’d give it 5 stars, but the encouragement notifications are unnecessary. I want to keep the reminders on, but I do not want the encouragement stuff..Version: 3.5

There must be an option to start time of the day. There must be an option to start time of the day. If I'm drink water after midnight, it's considering as next say. It should count with the previous day..Version: 4.2.5

Disappointed about free functions and expensive purchase priceThe app does not really let you test it. Most functions are only available in paid version and it’s expensive at 7.99. Others are 1.49. So will delete this one.Version: 3.6

Nice and simple4 jan 2020 - app no longer works. Will open for a split second and then auto closes. iPhone XR and I’m on the latest iOS. Installing a different app to help track my water intake. Will be uninstalling this one if not fixed within the next few weeks. Works like I wanted it to. I just want a simple app to track how much water I am drinking, and this does the job. I also log it on my Apple Watch. Lost a star because I don’t think the Siri shortcuts works on the Apple Watch - it just opens the app on the Watch rather than logging the water and its quantity..Version: 4.3.6

Helpful App, but watch weight tracking! The app is extremely helpful in tracking the amount of water you intake and in the paid version ($20 for the year) you can breakdown a lot of different types of drinks, and even the actual amount of H2O in each drink like coffee, and even gives you negative ounces for consuming alcohol! However if you use the weight tracking feature, and you use a Apple Watch to track your activity and you connect the app to your health data, for some reason the app resets your weight to the default 107lbs! This is a HUGE problem if you’re trying to close your “Move” ring and you weigh more (I’m 235lbs). I didn’t notice until I was exercising and noticed it was taking me more than twice as long to burn my usual amount of calories! I finally realized that when I entered my weight in the app, for some reason it reset my weight in my iOS health to the app’s default weight (107lbs). First I reset it manually in iOS, which worked until the next time I updated my weight in the app, at which time the same thing happened. So... until this is fixed, either don’t connect the app to iOS health or don’t allow the app to make changes to your weight..Version: 4.3.3

It’s okay. It’s okay. I like the challenges aspect and you can find out facts about water. Downside, you have to pay to use most of the features. You can only add water - tea - coffee. You have to pay for quash, milk etc. It literally is what it says. You add your fluid quantity and tells you when you’ve drank enough for the day. I probably wouldn’t use it for over a week though. Bit boring when you aren’t a premium member.Version: 3.6.6

3 optionsI only have 3 drink options which are free to add which means every other drink I consume can’t be calculated into my daily intake.Version: 3.6.1

Needs workI understand the app is supposed to make you money or why do it, so I’ll skip the part about not being able to choose the kind of drink you have without paying... The main problem I have is not having the option to log the amount of ounces I need to because only some preset amounts are there to choose from, ie: 2oz, 3oz, 5oz, 8oz, 10oz. WHY??? Or do you have to pay to actually be able to log the correct amount, too? Lastly, it seems the wrong amount of water needed to drink daily is miscalculated, by a lot. That could be dangerous to many people that depend on this app, and potentially opening yourself up to serious lawsuits. The correct data is out there people... use it. Smh..Version: 3.5

RubbishNo functionality, just ads telling me to pay. Lame..Version: 4.5.3

Only ‘free’ for 3 daysThis app asks you to sign up, asks you all sorts of questions about your weight, age, daily intake of different foods, drinks, etc to determine what they think your daily intake should be and then when you think you get to use this ‘free’ app, they want you to subscribe to continue. Not even a one time payment for the ‘premium’ version of an app or whatever, no, they have the audacity to ask you to subscribe for $30+ a month. Instant delete..Version: 4.9.10

AlarmHi there Just started your app today but can’t seem to get the reminder to work which was the main focus I was looking for. My husband has looked at my settings and says it looks as if it should work. Busy today so will have another look later. If not, will have to find another water app - sorry!.Version: 4.5.6

ReviewPersonally I think the app is a great way of keeping track of your water intake. There are just some things I wish could improve. The youngest you can be for this app is 14.. why can’t it be a little younger, having enough water is important and with your age it is important to how much you need (also depending on your weight). And the only “free” drinks you can put on the water log is Water, coffee, and tea. When I try to put a smoothie on it, it says I have to pay for it. I know the whole point of the app is to drink water, but I personally think you should be able to put in the log that you drank something else than water, coffee, and tea. I think you shouldn’t have to pay to be able to add a selection of different drinks. Another thing about the age, it is good to start healthy habits when your young so they stay with you, so I think the age should be 12. Tweens should be starting good healthy habits so that it stays with them when they are older. Other then that I think the app is OKAY. I’m not trying to run down this app, all I think is some things should change :). But it is a good way to track your daily water intake. Regards, Sarah.Version: 4.9.14

Data not feeding to iPhone correctlyI input data on the watch with no trouble so it performs its basic function for a free app. I wouldn’t buy the paid version though for the following reasons. When I open the iPhone app, it crashes 4 or 5 times before it displays the correct water levels. The data does not seem to be going to the health app on the phone. For instance, the watch app shows 63% right now. So does the phone app after 4 crashes and a manual restart of the app. The health app shows 12 oz for the day. I’d like for this data to aggregate in the health app like it’s supposed to and it’s annoying for the app to repeatedly crash on the phone..Version: 3.5

Paid optionOnly the paid option seems practical..Version: 3.6.1

Interesting idea, too bad I could barely use itDecided to try out a bunch of the water reminder/tracking apps to help me be better about my water in take on really busy days. Thought this one looked promising, especially because it had options for herbal tea and smoothies, both of which I also regularly drink. But, you can only use the water, tea, and coffee options without a subscription. But, I couldn’t even give the 3-day trial with a year subscription a try, because every time I clicked on that link it informed me that I had no subscription and offered only a close button. So, I emailed support with a screen shot and was informed that it was an odd error and they’d investigate and look into having a fix incorporated in a few weeks with the next release. So, until the fix rolls around, if I remember to check back ... this one has been deleted. Perhaps try giving a free 3-day trial upfront and then locking people out with the offer to keep the extended features with their choice of a subscription. That’s probably a better enticement and business model..Version: 4.0.8

Glasses accounted for.It isn’t bad but it would be nice if it told you exactly how many glasses you have already added as we sometimes forget how many we did add..Version: 4.9.24

Oh yeah, I had forgottenThis app is pushy, and that’s what I need. I am sure, if my watch didn’t vibrate every hour and remind me to drink, I would not drink enough. I have added the app as a part of my watch face so it is so easy to access and add each drink..Version: 4.9.15

Glitchy appJudging by all the other reviews, I'm sure this is a great app except for the fact that it crashes instantly every time you try to open it..Version: 3.6

OpinionIt gives totals but not percentage. Way too much annoying advertising, most of them totally irrelevant and take up far too much time. I suspect they make money on the advertising than they do on subscriptions. Haven’t decided whether or not to buy..Version: 4.9.12

It’s just a water drinking app.Subscription to a water drinking app? I’d pay once for a good app but subscribe….lol. Delete..Version: 4.7.3

You can track your water.. and that’s about itI had this app maybe a year ago and it was pretty great, you could enter your weight and goal weight and access other features which are now unavailable. The worst part to me is that these features are literally taunting you with how the app is displayed. There’s different icons that take you to different screens on the bottom and 2 of those you can’t even use without upgrading. Also when your go to track you water intake, there is at least 6 other options (which would make this app much easier to use) like milk, soda, etc. If you click on any of those grayed out option, they screen that says you need to upgrade and pay for a subscription comes it. Its overall very annoying to navigate but the style and design is pleasant, and that’s about it..Version: 4.5.2

Killing apple watch series 3 batterySomething happened in January 2018 with this app because it quickly starting draining my apple watch series 3 battery. Ive had this app since purchasing my watch back in October and never had any issues. Then in January i noticed my watch battery was drained and dead in 8 hours. Now, im pretty pathetic with my apple watch, so far i have a sleep app and the my water app on it.. thats it! I called Apple complaining about my battery and they ran numerous tests which took up all my afternoons. I decided to one by one remove my two apps from my phone and do some testing of my own. Yes, the my water app failed... something on their end is causing my battery to die. Yes, i looked into notifications and settings and made adjustments.. still kills my watch in 8hrs if i have the app on my apple watch. Please look into this and fix. This app is part of the reason i invested in the apple watch and at $450 dollars its a bit investment for me. Thank you.Version: 3.5

It’s okMy three day free trial was not three days/72 hours That assists the app could be better.. tips have a share button over them so you can’t read them so waste of time for current user.. they just wasn’t you to share to encourage others over. Instead of adding each drink through the day it would be better to select your three favourites and just tap them to multiply. If you have something different then just add it. Have different metric units for height/weight to say stones and pounds or metic. Then have a different for option. To be metric or American. I like to weigh in stones/lbs but drink in ml.Version: 4.9.9

A bit glitchyHaving received an Apple Watch for Christmas, I was looking for a water reminder app which would work with my watch. It worked really well at first, reminding me at the scheduled intervals and I found the input really easy. Unfortunately it’s become a bit hit-and-miss in the last week or so. Some days it reminds me when it should and some days it doesn’t remind me at all. For an app which has 1 job to do, it’s not the best. Shame as it’s great when it decides to work..Version: 3.5

I like this app but.....I hate how you shave to pat with other drinks that is the way they get you to pay for stuff and to me in should be all free al the drinks but if you want to make money have a full edition, when you finish an achievement you get points and you can spend it on stuff like wallpaper and color of water when it fills up so please take a look and read this but overall I love this app and it really helps me stay healthy because before this app I never drank water only like 10 ounces a day and I would feel really bad and get headaches and stuff but now I drink like 72 ounces and I feel amazing 😉 thx for creating this app it is such a pleasure to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃.Version: 4.2.0

Didn’t even get to use the appI use to use this app a few years ago and decided to give it another try. Now there’s stupid sign up things. Tried using Sign In with Apple l, it didn’t work. So I skipped this and went into the app then it wanted me to pay for features that I use to be free. That’s a huge no from me. Also, a message box was popping up about every 30 seconds telling me I don’t have an internet connection. I have a stable 4g connection. Deleted!.Version: 4.3.7

?I thinks it kinda dumb that you have to subscribe if you want to add that you drank any drink thats not water, coffee, or tea.Version: 4.9.14

So much moneyIt’s very cute and “motivational” but i currently don’t want to spend money on an app to track water especially when they’re so money hungry that they ask me to pay in order to add water to past records that i forgot to add. Although i’ve enabled all notifications in settings and the app they never get sent to my phone. Cute, good for the purpose, but please stop asking for money because i could easily record my water in notes and it has completely put me off the app..Version: 4.0.7

Useful app, but I lost $4.99The app’s design is clean and user friendly. I like that you can record different types of liquids and set hourly reminders. The reminders can be super helpful if you’re not on target. You look at your lock screen and see how much you have left in the day and can also be notified of the amount that is recommended for you at that time. It’s useful and it does what you expect it to do, so I give it 4 stars. But I am submitting a 3 star rating because I paid $4.99 to unlock the full version and recently lost access to it. I suspect this is because the developer changed to a subscription-based payment model..Version: 3.6.1

App Crashing When Editing Drink ListHello, this is still happening! Many updates with no fix!.Version: 4.9.17

Glitching OutI use to love this app, however now it barely lets me into the app to put in my water intake. It’s like the screen is frozen when it comes up. I was going to get the subscription but I don’t want to pay and then never be able to update my water intake! It also subtracts water I put in sometimes as well! Soooo annoying!.Version: 4.9.4

Free version - tricky to use & sub too expensiveThe free version is hard to use, the ‘add a drink’ button sits over over functions so it’s too easy to hit the wrong thing on s small screen and I’ve hada lot of trouble with that. Also like other app users I detest subscriptions - they are almost always overpriced and collectively drain users of money we often can’t afford. While I appreciate developers for certain apps need to keep working on them & update actual content which means that is necessary (check out Zombies Run for a great app, reasonable subscription given the range of content), this app isn’t like that. I think it is too expensive for what it is to pay for it on a subscription at £4.99 per month..Version: 4.0.4

Rip offThis app is a waste of money and time, not to mention I canceled but some how was charged $30 for an hourly reminder to drink water. Save your money and use Siri for reminders, Apple should pull this from the App Store..Version: 4.7.4

IssuesIt’s wonderful to keep track of my water intake since i have something called abdipsia, but lately it hasn’t been opening for about three days now and i feel like i’ve actually been achieving my goal for the past two days so it’s pretty annoying to not be able to go and add back now and ICANT EVEN OPEN THE DARN APP!! Edit: Thank you for responding it started working after the update but then today i tried adding water and it wouldn’t let me add a drink again and it just froze i’ve tried again and again refreshing it and everything but i can’t click anything on it maybe i should delete it and re install it again but then all my progress will be gone.Version: 4.9.5

Useless App with tons of glitchesWorked okay the first day and then kept freezing… absolutely useless. They want you to pay for it monthly which is absolutely ridiculous.Version: 4.9.5

So much for remindersI was never a drinker. One cup of water would last me a day. But my Dr told me that he would rather see me drink alcohol to get the fluids in I knew I had to do something. So, I downloaded this app for my phone and watch. I’m extremely busy and would never remember to drink. I’ve had this app for 1 week now and have only gotten 3 reminders. I set the reminder up for 1.5 hours starting at 5am and ending at 10pm. So you can do the math to figure out how many it didn’t remind me for. First I though it was because I didn’t leave the app open (battery drainage, I always close my apps) Nope. It still didn’t work. The. I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Nope. Last shot was to litterally leave the app open on my phone. Nothing. I have the most current update on the phone and watch. Unfortunately, this app didn’t do what I needed it to. Great idea..Version: 4.1.4

MehIt’s ok but I wish like the other drinks were free.Version: 3.6.6

Recent update is rubbishI have used my water for a couple of years, and have been very happy with it. I do not like this recent update, as it doesn’t now list all of my different drinks individually, which I liked. I want to monitor what I drink, to see if I am drinking enough water. I log if I have tea, coffee or something else, but this update just adds the liquid, and will only log the water element on the list. Please put it back to how it was.!.Version: 4.1.9

Keeps freezingWould be great except for constant freezing..Version: 4.9.4

Free version is very goodSubscription is WAY too expensive for what you get. For that price it should be fetching the water for me..Version: 4.7.3

Discrepancies between iPhone and WatchI really loved using this app until I realized there are discrepancies between iPhone and Watch data I post daily: the last entry I post from my Apple Watch is always missing on my iPhone. There seems a glitch with the synchronization between both devices. Until this is fixed I won't buy for the full version, which I was about to do. Too bad... i may test a couple of other app to check.Version: 3.5

Some kinksI bought the full version so I could add alcoholic drinks, but I still don’t love it. 1. You can’t easily edit your drinks once you’ve entered them...you have to delete the drink and make a new entry. That’s sort of a pain... 2. If you want to edit your daily goal (so for example I stopped breastfeeding and wanted to take down my daily intake goal), the app deletes all of your progress! That’s crazy! Goals change for all different reasons all the time...why would I want to delete all of my progress/data that I’ve amassed to this point just because I want to change my intake goal from this point forward? That feature does not make sense to me, and it’s very frustrating..Version: 3.6

Not many optionsYou have to pay for most of the drinks, and there are only 3 free options. Apart from that the app is very useful for people that only drink water, coffee and tea!.Version: 4.8.2

NotificationsUPDATE: Notifications are now coming in. Once I record intake through the app notifications stop. The developer did contact me stating this is a problem with iOS 11x. A friend bought the app the same day as I did. She doesn’t receive notifications either and is using a Samsung. Paid for this app but it DOES NOT send out the reminder notifications. Rip off IMO. Emailed the developer and no response. Uninstalled then reinstalled still doesn’t send out notifications. I would like a REFUND!!! One of the main reasons for this purchase was the notifications. DOES NOT work on my Apple Watch either. Also a friend of mine purchased the app for Samsung and is having the exact same issue. Still waiting on a reply from developer. This is why Apple should offer refunds within a 48 hour period..Version: 3.5
