✓ My favorite deck building rogue likeI have had this game for two or three years now. In my opinion it is one of the best rogue likes on the App Store and, until Slay the Spire comes out, the best deck builder. The core gameplay/battle mechanic is incredibly satisfying, as is the fact that you unlock currency towards persistent upgrades each time you play. The deck purchasing is the first screen, yes, but you do not only get the tutorial. The four extra decks are an add-on. If you do not have the mental capacity to swipe left, this game is may for you. Anyway, great game. Please add more decks and perhaps extend the story mode past defeating Stuck. Edit: Wow, people think the game is too luck based, and/or requires too much skill. ✓ Graphical Issues FixedThis is one of my favorite games and it is my favorite iPad app. Can't recommend it enough. Perfect time consumer due to its simplicity, while also being complex enough to sit down and strategize with. You can create great, game-breaking combos with certain items and spells to make a fully engaging game to tinker around with. Not only that, but if the game proves too easy for you, they have added an Epic difficulty setting that is quite the challenge even for those who have mastered the game. Great art and humor, unique gameplay, and fun features are all over this game. The paid DLC, very cheap for only 99 cents more, is likewise amazing. Fresh and fun play-styles can be found in the four new classes that are wholly distinct from the other base classes. A perfect mix of Rogue-like, puzzle, adventure, and card games. The great thing is that there are so MANY types of strategies depending on your deck and which upgrades you’re given the chance to buy with your match winnings. Top Pick!My experience has been that when you actually pay attention to your surrounding options, plan moves ahead and use powers and energies at the right time you can advance in the game. Personally I like to combine the spell that reveals the second row of cards for each column with the single stab spell to clear the front card. That’s just one strategic approach that’s working very well for me. I can think of 30 or more in the next 5 minutes. You have to approach every battle differently because each level is unique and some spells work better then others depending on the Monster you are fighting. The gameplay is strategically driven, original and far from heavy RNG. These elements are very well balanced in this game. The only reason anyone would rate this game negatively is because they failed to grasped the actual gameplay of the game. Hands down one of my favorite games and I’m glad that is practically available for every platform because I did purchased both the IOS and the Steam versions. This is only my take on it and again...my humble opinion. Looking forward for future expansion packs or new versions..Version: 1.1.13
✓ Truthfully LOVE this game! I have one suggestion though.This game is amazing in its gameplay and strategy and luck. The only thing I would even consider a flaw is the starting over from the beginning. I wish the developers would maybe look into adding a relaxed mode that allowed you to checkpoint after a set of three battles. ✓ Great fantasy take on playing cardsI really enjoy the fantasy take on playing cards in this game. It is built on the Solitaire premise of towers by numbers, with magic abilities added in. The variations in the different decks are fantastic, and does involve luck and skill.. the skill is in knowing how to play the powers you get, but the luck is in getting the right powers in time.. The standard mode is challenging and fun. The hard mode after that is much more frustrating and eventually lost me because I found it so hard to progress. Still a great game..Version: 1.1.13
✓ The greatest game - an obsession!I think this game might be destroying my life. It is simply remarkable, and the best game on the iPhone. I just made it up to level 17 in my fourth deck, and the Spiky Ogger Lava Conjurer is the most aggressive enemy, hands down. He devoured me four times in quick succession and broke my heart for good. And now I'm late for work. Thank you for fixing this game! It's so good to have it back. Edit: I'd like to make a suggestion for improvement! Could it please be made possible to just play the boss battle (either with a random collection of items and spells or with ones that are chosen from a randomly arranged set)? ✓ Solitaire Rogue Like!This is a golf solitaire RPG Roguelike mash up game. It works very well. Just like the recent 3DS game Pocket Card Jockey, this mixes cards with another game type. You work your way through various enemies, defeating them by clearing the deck of cards. When you draw from your stock, the enemy attacks. ✓ Great gameI love the mix of rogue-like elements with solitaire based gameplay. There seems to be a lot of replay value as well with the difference classes. My two gripes about the game however is the ridiculous load times on my iPhone 6 before and after fights. I have no idea what warrants such load times. It just reset my 850 Wildstones to 0. **Update** The developer was very prompt in fixing the issue regarding lost Wildstones with the latest update. **Update #2** Unfortunately with the Wildstone fix, the Haste spell is now broken. ✓ Great ConceptThis is a very strategic game which is great... but the randomness of the draws works against the player. It is not uncommon to go three or four draws without a play. Which makes the most patient strategist want to throw their device to the floor in frustration. A suggestion to the developer... if you are going to set the challenge this high at least have the mercy to make the broken heart sequence upon death shorter in duration. It feels like rubbing salt in the wound making the player wait through it over and over again. I had an issue with the game freezing up and informed the developer who was very responsive as we corresponded back and forth. The game is addictive and despite moments of frustration I continue to play. Be prepared to die over and over and over and over and over again as it is part of the learning process..Version: 1.1.11

✓ Brilliant!I’m not often moved to write reviews for games, it this little gem deserves recognition. The combination of genres works brilliantly and the rogue like element is well balanced rather than frustrating. I am always initially worried by the dreaded phrase ‘in-app purchases’, but it only amounts to a quid to unlock the different card decks. The decks themselves are different enough to allow very different strategies. I haven’t beaten it yet, though I got to the last level. I will get there though! Bravo! ✓ Stalemate issueIt's taken me 4 hours to pass a boss on this game. Kept healing their cards, freezing and turning everything into the same number. Generally the difficulty is fun, fair and challenging but Feygul is massively unbalanced. The final boss is easier and frustrating. It's not even difficult, but you just reach a complete stalemate. ✓ Unique and fun!I hate 99% of phone games but this one gets me! There are plenty of classes to try out and unlock so there is a sense of progression. I’ve unlocked 3 so far and am still enjoying the game. You do have to accept that this is a card game and there will be a random aspect to it. Some runs I can only kill 3 guys and then others I make it far. There are bad runs and good runs, you just have to do your best to not make any mistakes and equip the best spells for the current enemy. ✓ Really fun game.It’s a really fun game and this is from somebody who didn’t know how to play solitaire. It’s basically one of the best Roguelite games on the market and I feel ashamed for sleeping on it until its recent price cut. My only gripe is that when I spent the 99cents to unlock the dlc characters I have to grind out 40 gems per character just to play each of the 4 classes I paid for. But this game is extremely annoying/frustrating to me because of the amount of times I’ve died. You can be doing great one minute, then have a bad streak that destroys all of your lives in a short time. For example, 6 damage, 4 damage, 6 damage, poison, armoured card... all without receiving any helpful cards. I wish they would continue to upgrade it. I’m not sure a full on Solitairica 2 is required. I’d love to see: 1) More levels 2) New/Different monsters 3) The ability to turn off or greatly shorten the intra-animations (so annoying to have to sit through and continually click click to get through them) 4) more slots for tools 5) the ability to keep buying hourglasses as long as you have the money or the wild stones. 6) some sort in info that explains exactly how the rewards work. I can’t figure out how much you get for a run that is X long vs Y long; is it cumulative? Aka the more runs you have, the more valuable they become? ✓ Best Game Please Never Change ItI don’t think I’ve ever give a review that I care this much about mainly because I didn’t think the other mobile games I played was worth even giving a rating but I love this game so much that I honestly do think that this is the best game and that’s saying something for how strict my taste is anymore for video games. ✓ Amazing gameI love this game. I have a hard time finding games that I enjoy playing over and over again. I always come back to this. Really fun trying to beat the game with the different classes and then epic mode is also really fun. Would love more updates and content, would pay for more expansions and levels. Also a cool update I thought of would be the boss HP bar at the top with the number of his cards as his life ticking down as you clear cards. ✓ Fantastic game!This has got to be one of my favourite games this year! At first, I wasn't sure about the whole thing about when you die, you have to start from the beginning again but it really does work. Every game you play is different as there's so many variables with the characters, the cards that come up, the items you can accumulate and the spells that you can buy as you go along. And then if you die, you get gems that help build your character to be better for the next game. Such a clever idea and even more wonderful...it is IAP free. Truelly a well thought out game. Well done to the peeps that built this. I only have one gripe and that is it keeps randomly crashing at the stage just after a game, where you get to see who you're up against next and get to spend your coins. I would've given this only 4 stars because of this but to be honest, as I don't lose any data when I restart the game, it doesn't ruin the game. So I'm sticking with the 5 stars because every other aspect of the game easily balances this out (though, would be great if this could be fixed :) ).Version: 1.0.9
✓ Fun, but irritating.As others have pointed out, the worst enemy in the game is the Random Numbers God. You can have a great run, only to watch it disappear completely because you can’t do anything for five or six turns. ✓ To the developer-still perfectI bought this game when it was released. It’s now about 4 years later and I still play this every single night in bed for at least 30 minutes. I’m not a fan of overly complicated games, but I love card games that involve strategy and a little resource management. This is, to date, the only game that still has it all blended perfectly. The additional deck purchases are great and worth it. There’s nothing to make this game better. Just wanted to say also it’s appreciated how fantastic the artwork looks on current devices like iPad Pro 12.9”.
