✓ Low qualityThe puzzles seem to be auto-generated rather than hand crafted so lack sophistication or interest/variety. The app also heavily leans on intrusive ads. I have switched the the sudoku apps by “Conceptis” and “Cracking the Crytpic”, which are both far superior in puzzle quality and contain no ads.Dan19999997Version: 8.24

✓ Ads cause crashesI have always enjoyed this game but recently when the ad changes at the bottom of the screen it causes the grid to revert back to full size. Hugely annoying when this causes you to inadvertently make a mistake especially if it’s taken a long time to do. Fix this and I’d happily give 5 stars..N.E. hygVersion: 8.24

✓ Please fix the bug!!Love the app, HOWEVER each time I pause a game and return to it later I discover "draft" numbers and letters in cells where they simply can't be because the square they are in already has that number or that letter as a "permanent" entry. And the most annoying is when a letter or a number that's already been allocated to all squares appears all over the place but I can't get rid of it because that letter/number has now been deleted from the list at the bottom of the table. ✓ Ads ads adsI’ve put up with the ads for years; even the ones that don’t allow you to cancel quicker than 30 seconds. At least those only lasted a round or two. Now, while playing the game, there’s some glitch that loads my browser and pulls up this panda ad from the bottom banner. I cancel and go back to the game and within a couple of seconds it sends me back to the browser and then the Apple App Store and I’ll close it out again and go back to the game. It is a never ending loop. Tried soft resetting my phone and it doesn’t affect it. It’s been real but I have to delete you and find a new sudoku app..MalinoisGuyVersion: 8.9

✓ Problems with latest updateA really good Sudoku app, with loads of variations, but since the latest update it no longer opens. I get the starting splash screen but then it closes. ✓ Can only play easyThe game makes you play through easy, medium, and hard before unlocking expert for EACH variation of sudoku. This makes the entire app worthless to me as I find it extremely tedious that I have to put time into a puzzle before I can really even play it. The easier difficulties for variations rarely ever require the use of the variation’s logic; there are usually enough givens that you can just place all the digits from the start without actually thinking about how the variant affects the solve. The ability to select any difficulty would make this an amazing sudoku app, except for the fact that it can sometimes prevent you from placing pencil marks when they are resolvable. I haven’t found a way to turn this option off without enabling classic mode, which I don’t want to do. If the difficulty problem were fixed: 3 stars If pencil mark “error” detection problem were fixed: 3 stars If both problems didn’t exist, this is easily a 5 star app.JBrockFVersion: 8.14

✓ Some experts are unsolvable without cluesSome expert puzzles in at least the 16x16 and pencil mark types have no solution if only using the given numbers. ✓ Missing a useful featureThe selection is great, but the interface could use improvement. This would be a decent Sudoku app if it had the ability to note numbers that will not work. Noting numbers that will not work can be just as useful as noting possible numbers. ✓ Locked into AdWhy do you allow your advertiser to take over the game? I am locked into ‘Empires and Puzzles’ forcing me to play and not giving me an ‘X’ to get out and return to my Sudoku game. I don’t mind watching their ad, but I do not want to play it. ✓ Not a proper SudokuThis game is not correct. Sudoku is systematic. If there are three numbers in first block then the last block needs reverse order of three numbers does not have to be the same numbers. Also you have to guess. I have had to put down two numbers twice in order to complete the game. So the number 4 8 in one column and the same numbers in second column, but I have to change it to 8 4. They should not have the same number. Sample of sudoku numbers top left and bottom right 3 6 8 7 6 2 Lots of the games are not very good because of guessing and not proper Sudoku. ✓ Some assembly requiredI thought this was going to be a really good game, not so. There are a multitude of different games, however, the instructions on how to play them stink! Also, the colour scheme, even though you can change it is not well designed. It would be nice to be able to add notes to a selection of 'cells'. Some things have been made too complicated. ✓ DisappointingAt first it wasn't too bad, but now I've done 30 or so puzzles, I'm finding it incredibly frustrating how many errors there are in it. Considering the comparably high cost of the app in removing ads at nearly $8, it was depressing that after I had paid that. The quality of the puzzles deteriorated. The different types look good, but the number of puzzles that error out with correct answers, is growing with each different one I try. Didn’t get any further, deleted the app in frustration after accidentally deleting all pencil numbers when I was just trying to delete one number in one cell after playing on hard for 40 minutes .
