✓ Wonderful app for simple layoutsThis is a wonderful app for simple layouts – no question about that. Very well done. But I miss the ability to specify numbers for shape sizes. Sometimes it is too hard to get the sizes right with my fingertips. And I also miss the ability to change the colour of grouped objects. When I put a circle on the end of a rectangle to get a rounded oblong grouped object, I cannot shorten the objects width without shrinking the objects height. It keeps the aspect ratio locked, and sometimes I want to adjust one dimensional only. But still, a very nice app..Version: 3.0.3

Huge thanks to the development team! I would love to see more crossover functionality. Specifically SPARK POST!! This would combine the best of both my favorite and most used work spaces. I design UI for web applications and do so from the mobile view up. Starting at the mobile view is made much easier for me by designing on my iPhone. Adobe Spark, Lightroom, Photo Mix, and now this app mark it possible. My ideal flow would also involve being able to export to HTML from mobile as well, and even export directly to services like Google Cloud Storage, Slack, or Github. If you want to take it one step further, allow us to view and edit the project through a text editor with HTML, import HTML, and even launch projects to browser view; all on mobile. ✓ So far so good!I'm a big fan of sketching out ideas on a pad with a pen, but using this on the iPad pro has just changed the way that I work. I tend to work quickly and often change my mind just as much so it's a joy to be able to quickly undo and/or move things about on your mockups. I must admit I don't use the cc suite on the desktop but I can only guess that this would go hand in hand with it. Adobe have gone from seeing flash slowly become irrelevant and has genuinely bounced back with a family of tools that reinvent what it means to be creative..Version: 2.2

✓ It’s a two way street...Before I begin, all of this is is new to me. I am learning as I go. I am a subscriber to LR CC, IOS. Main reason I subscribed is Adobe was the only reputable company that offered IOS Mobil apps other than Google Snapseed, which by the way is also an amazing app. More user friendly upfront than Adobe in my opinion. However, thats what lead to the title of this review. For those who feel Adobe lacks, or that it was not as good as before, well take a look in the mirror and ask yourself, what have you done to better yourself? Chances are, you have not taken the time to learn and understand all of the changes made or new features and benefits that come with the new version updates. I am new and quickly finding out there are a several apps that work with some and not others. If you know what each app is intended to be used for, you will not be disappointed. Forcing the users to reach out for support definitely will increase efficiency and productivity by automatically weeding out users who are not willing to take the time and learn. ✓ This is the reason I chose the iPad pro over surfaceAdobe comp is an intuitive hands on prototyping experience. It's is easier and quicker to draw mock ups and templates on this app than it is on the desktop. And the integration of Adobe stock images (even just as place holders) means you can actually get a feel for the finished product or simply try out multiple ideas. Then easily send a working file to inDesign of Photoshop for completion! I was trying to decide if I should switch to the surface pro, but Adobes iPad apps are far beyond squeezing a desktop app on a little screen and enabling touch, they are a full hands on experience!!.Version: 2.1

I saw it while browsing in the Apple Store, rotating in an animation showing what the iPad Pro can do. I had to ask the genius to tell me what the app was. Immediately downloaded it when I got home and it's fantastic if you want to do a one page mock up. I often create one page 'slides' for sharing with clients with a mix of images and text. ✓ Just one more feature and this would be perfect.I absolutely love this app for mocking PDFS. It saves so much time. The thing is, there is no way to export a multi page document, and that’s where all the time I saved mocking up starts piling up again when I have to export the pages 1 by 1 into illustrator, or indesign to be able to finish up the pdf. I have been looking online and this feature has been requested years ago, how can it take this long? I own the entire suite, this should be fixed by now. ✓ Great for quick creative layoutsI really like using Comp for quick layouts of my ideas and social media posts. I'd almost call it perfect, but for two small things. 1. Trouble with text I have trouble typing in the text box, because it seems to move as I type, in addition this makes it hard to move the cursor to edit. 2. Share this photo isn't always responsive When I want to share the photo by saving to to my camera roll I have to press share multiple times, as it doesn't always bring up the second menu. ✓ Often MisunderstoodThe app and what is was designed to do is misunderstood and some people even give it a bad rap because they can't afford the monthly subscription. Those are the people who do not respect the value of the tools designers and developers use. Comp CC is the main reason I bought an iPad pro 12.9. It helps with design and prototyping. It is great to be able to "sketch" ideas and functionality of a website or an app or a layout while sipping coffee on the couch and not in front of a computer screen. Comp CC is for building ideas and prototyping and not intended for final work output. You are expected to finish your work on your computer using the full suite of Adobe CC programs..Version: 3.0.3

✓ Great but needs to be more InDesign friendlyI love using this app as a mock-up/layout starter but as someone who works a lot with InDesign (and Comp being the iPad equivalent), it needs to be more user friendly between the two. ✓ Fastest Way to Mock-up on the go. Period.I am so happy they finally released an update for this app! I’d nearly given up. Until they create a version of XD for iOS this is the next best thing. Gestures make it so you can wireframe like one would on a napkin, except your crude shapes actually become the objects you’re trying to represent. It’s also very easy to toss in some watermarked Adobe Stock images as placeholders until you find the assets you want. My only complaint about using the app is changing the background and layering elements can be a pain. It also worries me how long this app went without updates. Comp shows the direction I want Adobe to pursue: more intuitive tools that stay out of the way when creating. There are many tools in here I’d like to see in inDesign and other legacy apps. You can’t quite get a final design on here. What’s amazing, however, is how close you can get. Way better than a pad of paper!.Version: 3.0.5

✓ Great appI have had this installed for ages and never used it until recently when I wanted to quickly take a photograph of some clothing with my phone, then add some text on top of it in order to give a client a quick mockup of a vinyl printed t-shirt. As it is synced with my CC membership I could download and use Typekit fonts for the writing and, once the client was happy I sent it straight into Adobe Illustrator on my desktop to ready for cutting. Also works well with Photoshop. Very happy I gave this a chance. The only small niggle I have is trying to rotate small items with 2 fingers on my iPhone 6 Plus, this can be a bit fiddly..Version: 2.3

✓ Could take more advantage of iPad toolsAbsolutely fantastic wireframing software. The gestures are extremely intuitive and useful. Mockups that used to take me hours can be finished in a fraction of the time with Comp CC. The ONLY reason that I can't give Comp CC five stars is the lack of a drawing feature. I know in wireframes you typically don't sketch, but there are certain times when drawing a few lines or small icons is incredibly helpful. Comp designs are supposed to be finished on the full Adobe suite, but once you take it over to the computer, you lose the magic of drawing with the Apple Pencil. The draw feature would be incredibly easy to integrate, and if it was, Comp CC would most definitely get a 5/5..Version: 3.0.3

✓ Handy for the basicsI normally use my iMac but it died right before a design deadline so I gave this little app a go and was pleased. I managed to comp a quick, basic design to show the clients and then import it, fully editable, into Indesign to work on later. Since then I've also used it to produce a very quick design which needed to be emailed within the hour as a print-ready PDF when I wasn't at my desk, as well as to comp ideas during meetings to help those who couldn't visualise it. ✓ Major Update PleaseNow that Photoshop and Illustrator for the iPad have advanced, please update this app to use with InDesign. You don’t know how much I could get done at work. Being able to create layouts is wonderful, but it would be so much better if Adobe made improvements to this app to be able to do more. I know this is for Adobe XD, and I use it for that sometimes, but please give us more features or make it compatible for InDesign CC! Trust me, there is a huge demand for this! ✓ A great step forward for mobile integrationI've just started using Comp and whilst it definitely has some restrictions I could do without (single page work only being the main one!) it's really useful for roughing out a layout to see whether it'll work or not - and showing my clients an idea that they just won't see properly if I sketch it out. With all of my project assets in a library, I can just pull it all together in a few seconds and work on refining it later. The touch gestures feel natural and the controls are easy to learn, and I love the infinite history scroll! It would be great if masking images was easier - currently my iPad's refusing integration with Photoshop Mix but I suspect that's me, not Comp!.Version: 2.2

✓ InDesign helperAfter loosing my 12 year old iMac and purchasing an iPad Air, I stumbled on Terry White’s tutorial, LIVE, and was smiling from ear to ear seeing him again and learning from him once more. I had spent my last penny to go to his class at the Hynnes Auditorium in Boston MA to dive into InDesign back in the early days. This is so exciting to see a program like Adobe Comp to chat up a potential client with and then some how I have to figure out how to get to InDesign once again as I lost the entire CS6 with my iMac and LOVE to design!!! I can’t afford the Cloud monthly fees in retirement and wished you had had a senior discount available. Just saying. Amen to this program and hope you keep it free and playful! It works extremely well on the new 10.5 iPad Pro + Pencil, and I've been able to pick up the basics in about a day's worth of usage. ✓ Good for basic mock-upsI have been looking for an app for mobile and web mockups on the iPad. Having used Adobe XD for some time, this app looked like it could meet the demand and benefit from the Apple Pencil. All the basics are included, but use changing colours on vectors/icons from the marketplace was a struggle. The auto mockups is a nice feature to show off the completed work, however the mobile devices available are out of date with iPhone 7 as the latest mobile device in 2020. The app is good to create the initial mockup, but I will continue to look for a good iPad app to take the mockups to the next level..Version: 3.0.5
