✓ Too many glitches...needs updatingA few quests can't be completed, graphics are rough at times, and I don't like the fact that it's too easy to accidentally hit a button and become an outlaw. First Aralon would warn you. If you oops here (which is easy to do) you had better have a save backed up. Huge fan of the first Aralon game and have played through it at least 10 times. ✓ 3rd person fixed option please!I really liked the first Aralon, and the option that kept the camera at my character's back. However, this doesn't seem to have the option, which means that my enthusiasm towards playing the game is pretty low. Please sort this. If I'm not able to play this game due to this problem then I can't help but feel that it would have been a waste of money. ✓ AwfulIf you're looking for an amazing game with fantastic graphics, storyline, gameplay etc. I highly recommend Aralon Sword and Shadow- definitely not this. This is absolutely terrible in all areas except an increase in graphics quality. And I can't even get to the second level because my game just crashes. This is a total waste of money. ✓ Hmmm....Ok, first off, it's an ok game. The first one was pretty good and this built on it in certain areas, such as graphics. But there are many things to dislike about it. Firstly, it is extremely generic. Not only do certain areas look like places from the first game, but you get the same people and same locations! 3 orog caves that are identical!! The gameplay is ok, sone good skills, but essentially it is just button-mashing. Also, some of the quests are buggy and can't be completed and (spoiler alert) the end boss is too easy and the ending is an anti-climax. On the plus side, there are some good equipment and weapons, decent skills, fun quests (try killing regenerating guards in town) and an ok plot. I really hope the developers fix the bugs, and make some expansions for this, as the biggest problem was that it's too easy and too short! Shame really!.Version: 1.0

✓ Very annoying!The avatar moves at such an agonizing slow pace when running and swimming. There is no "sprint" button. There's also no "jump" button to get out of those ledges that the avatar SHOULD be able to climb up! Also, why is there no quest marker to help guide us toward our next objective?! Do you game makers know how hard and annoying that is?! The best I can do is go to my avatar menu and go to map, EACH AND EVERY TIME. I still don't have much of an idea where to go anyway! It has a whole lot of potential. It would be better if only they add what should already be in the game. I shouldn't even have to bring this up! ✓ Won't let me out of the caveAt the start of the game when you're walking through the caves to get to the exit, once I actually got to the exit I tap on it and it loads until it stops right before the end and doesn't do anything for about 10 until the app just crashes. I've tried restarting the game and and even re downloaded and it still crashes at the same part. ✓ Game Crash!!!!!!!!!!Aralon is a fun game with lots of mystical creatures and a stunning main Character. The main goal of the game is to get revenge on your dead dad who was killed by some bad people...After (MIGHT BE A SPOILER ALERT) killing the main bad guy... I exited out of Aralon and left it for a day, to return to it again. I logged on it, and when it asked my what account I wanted to use. I clicked my account and went into the game to find out I was in a weird realm where I was swimming in nothingness and had no way of escaping. The game crashed and I no longer have my account that I worked on for so long!!!! It all vanished......In conclusion this game is fun but very glitchy and has a 50/50 chance of crashing..Version: 1.02

The first Aralon was a good game, but there are too many problems with this one; targeting issues coupled with a routine inability to use 'attack screen' options when in battle will wind up with you dying frequently with an inconsistent 'save' feature that may place you either in the same melée or an hour's work earlier. ✓ Hostile npcs ruin questsI loved the first game and was so excited to see the second one on the App Store. However, they really need to do a little more work here. The intro dialogue needs to be skipable. There is a serious problem where npcs will be flagged as hostile during quests so all you can do is kill them and then you are left with the quest being incomplete. Extremely frustrating in a game like this to be stuck on quests due to a bug. I don't even want to keep playing since I'm sure this character who is already lvl 22 will have to be deleted once they fix the bugs and have to start over to be able to do all of the quests. I would easily add two stars once this is fixed but for now it is frustrating and I can't playing my wondering how many quest lines are going to be ruined by hostile npcs..Version: 1.0

✓ Dont get me wrong but...First off i love this game series. Despite all its flaws, the glitches, and well everything. If you have played ravensword or the first one, stop what you are doing & play those first. I am disappointed because the bugs should have been checked first. I tried playing it and just as i was about to exit the first area it glitched and will not allow progress past that point. I ask as a fan to give this game a chance but please wait until an patch has come through to fix the bugs. ✓ DisappointingI've played both Aralon: Sword and Shadow and Ravensword: Shadowlands, and I can say that this game doesn't meet the same standard that those other 2 IOS games set for mobile rpg games. There were already so many flaws in just the first 10 minutes of gameplay, I just deleted the app out of disgust. It is sad to say that the first Aralon game is much better than this one. The story was captivating, but the gameplay was weak and unsatisfying for forge and flame. They could have accomplished much with this game, but it just turned out to be a major disappointment. ✓ Too easy and unbalancedI enjoyed playing this but was surprised that it was over so soon. The story is kinda bland. Not much customization. There are things in game that seem pointless. Cooking fires? Guilds? Recipes? I never used any of these. You can level up fairly easy and become overpowered quickly. I used and completed the game with the bow I started with! Graphics are ok for mobile but could be better. There are some bugs and glitches and some environments seems too empty. ✓ DisappointingWhere to begin? I'll start with the graphics, which are just barely passable. The lighting is murky and makes everything look like plastic. Looting has been reduced to tapping a target and automatically taking everything it held. Objective markers of any sort have been removed, and there's no way of telling which NPCs give out quests without chatting to each of them. Unskippable dialogue. Obtuse, sloppy UI. No way to reorganize the HUD. Useless first-person mode. Slippery camera controls. And stiff, interruptive animations. ✓ Alright, but needs a few changesFirstly the combat needs to be more like Ravensword 2, mainly 1st person bow and lock picking. But also sword too, currently combat is clunky and not very fun. One thing that made Ravensword 2 such a great game was the combat, especially the ability to aim and control release of your bow. Secondly sound effects drag, and although when I read of it in the reviews, thinking it wouldn't bother me, it does!! Fix it and the position of characters hands while riding horses it just looks ridiculous. ✓ Many issues please updateThe game is a great game, I got hours of fun until I got stuck, to move on I needed an item which I sold/from doing it prior to the quest so after all that time I'm stuck :/ characters are way too overpowered, 10 minutes of farming mobs and you can beat anything, attack system is clunky, many bugs, repetitive npc skins, not completely free roam, what's up with the lock picks? There are none, 2 times I have been unable to complete a quest due to random bugs, etc... ✓ Could be awesomeThere are a few issues. The cave glitch is so annoying. You enter a cave then try to leave and get warped all the way to taryn ridge. Wars are really op. No one can hurt me. Combat should be a little smoother. The customization is severely lacking. Please update and fix please. Tired of developers releasing games stuffed with bugs and the game is not playable. They don't on construction les too. Back in the day when you couldn't update a game through the Internet games came out perfect every time. It's getting old. New update review. So it does get a lot harder at the end of the game. I have best gear and am a high level you need to know how to play your class once you get further in. ✓ Good RPG, but way too many bugsThis game seemed to be pretty fun at first, but when I got to Taryn Ridge, I found a quest you can't complete. I found a ton more bugs other than that too, but I can't list all of them. When I just innocently stole something, the second I leave this person's house, every guard is after me, and when one of them killed me, I spawned in the house I stole the items from again. So I leave the house, and, again, every guard is after me. I can't do anything about it because I haven't saved since the beginning of the game! The only thing I could think of was to sail somewhere else, but the person who you have to talk to in order to leave was treading water in circles. ✓ Has some serious issues!Aside from the dismal graphics and re-hashed soundtrack, there are some major flaws to the actual gameplay. By that I mean there are actual parts of the game that do not play out as they should, so quests cannot be completed, such as tools or information that have to be used, yet are not provided. How can you enter a cave, turn around and exit it to find yourself on the other side of the map? I really loved the original Aralon, as well as Ravensword, but this seems to be badly thrown together. ✓ Don't bother!I really loved the first game - Aralon Sword and Stone. It had immersive gameplay, a well thought out script, lots of side quests and was a game you could play for days. Not so with the sequel. Many of the things in this game were reused from the original (including the music), but far less effort was put into this game. There's about 4 or 5 side quests in total, and the whole game can be completed in a few hours. And the script is awful - I didn't even know what the purpose of the game was until the end, when the ending sequence consist of one sentence printed out on the screen. My recommendation is to get Radiation Island (if you don't mind not having any NPCs to talk to) or The Witcher 3 if you have a console or decent PC. ✓ Cannot leave CallaheimI give this game 1 star due to odd bugs and being stuck in Callaheim. I have completed all the quests and cannot find the second harbor master next to the boat to take me to the next land. I know he should be as I've watched a number of walkthroughs to try to figure out what I might and might not be doing. And, the harbor master to take me to Taryn Ridge is under water with another city guard. No help or support to think of. Had similar experience with Exiles. I'm hoping for an update to reset these odd bugs some can play this, what I feel could be a terrific game. ✓ Mfi support for iPhone, but not iPad?Sorely disappointed with NOT being able to use my Steel Series Nimbus controller on my 10.5” iPad Pro with this game. ✓ Awesome but...Well, I really like the improvements to visuals over Aralon. But there is a lot more to be added and a huge amounts of bugs to sort out. Like, if the soldiers fall into the water, they should be able to die. They can live like mer-people, indefinitely under the water. Add a little more diversity to conversation. Add newer visuals, add blacksmiths that can make weapons out of items YOU chose and give and decide on what type it should come out as. And let their be a significant cost and the ability to succeed or fail. Add sockets to weapons and armors. And add the ability to see what helm out character is wearing. Add a title for the heroic deeds. Add multiplayer. Add better steering and movement physics for our pets and rides. Like, why does the character keep bouncing up and down in the dragon? Seems like the same sprite was used as is for the horse. Add more pets and rides. So much to do, no? But this game is still epic in its own regard. ✓ Two steps forward, one step back.From a gameplay and story aspect, this is a pretty clear step up from the original Aralon game. So if you liked the original, you'll like this game. Combat is effective and graphics are good enough considering the scale of the game. That being said, it appears that some basic features haven't been added or have been removed from the original game. The character customisation is severely lacking, and the decision to remove customisable you of the face and skin colour seems weird. Also, the inability to back up saves on a cloud is annoying, especially given that iPhones will automatically delete saved data if the app is accidentally deleted. The ability to instantly completely load dialogue and skip it would be useful too, but that's a personal gripe more than anything. Aralon 2 builds on its predecessor well, but you really need to reimplement those functionality and customisability features you had in the original game, let alone build on them..Version: 1.0
✓ It's okI was really excited for this game and it's finally here but there are 2 problems I'm experiencing in the game, 1: the character customization well there's only one face opinion for each race, and you look like you have a grumpy 50 year olds face on the male human. 2: I did 2 specific missions involving in an inn or bar and the person I am sent to speak to is hostile and in the first town I went to the quest giver he gave me a quest to go kill the target and I went to the place where I could find the target but he was friendly so I chose to just attack the guy like I was suppose and returned to the quest giver and he attacked me. ✓ A sad disappointmentAralon: Sword and Shadow was pretty much the closest thing to The Elder Scrolls for iPad we're ever likely to get, so I was excited to hear that a sequel was on the way. However my excitement first began to abate when I discovered that this game's character creator amounts to a grand total of 5 hairstyles and no face options whatsoever. This was followed by some painfully bad voice acting (plain text would have been preferable) and happy-clappy adventure music that would be better suited to a Disney fairy tale. But I wasn't about to let a shaky start ruin it for me, so I kept on playing. But after playing for an hour, this game has failed to redeem itself to me. A real shame. Oh and another thing: the Fox and Grapes was the name of the inn in Timber's Bend. The inn in Taryn Ridge was called the Red Lion. ✓ Not worth the moneyI've played the prequel of this game and I can say I loved it. This one not so much. There are so many glitches with the quests. The minimap is useless and it's hard to play in 3rd person because the animation on movement is so wonky. Some chest and door are impossible to steal because you can't sneak and open them. Also the sound effects like footsteps or the puddle splashing is out of sync :/ it makes a splashing sound like 1.5seconds after I've stepped on it or just passing by it. Yeah...it's getting worse i found a little black area on the other side of the cave(within the town area) and the character keeps on falling like a ninja gone wrong :( i mean come on man my character is stuck in between the netherworld :s it won't move, won't do anything after the new load pleasee fix it.Version: 1.0
