✓ DisappointedI would have given this five stars up until today when I logged back on to find that two trees I cleared at 10 diamonds each had reappeared. Not only that but In the space next to it where 2 trees and a cross which would have cost me 30 diamonds. I’m not willing to pay more diamonds out so you’ve lost a player now as I only like to play fair. Overall a good game and easy to get lost in it but feel cheated..Version: 1.38.4

✓ DisappointedI have been playing this game for a while and i enjoyed it. Disappointed that they introduce tip jar recently which i thought you just need to buy once with the real money to own it. Apparently you don’t own it, have to buy every time you want extra diamond. ✓ This is unfairSo 7 days ago, my dad got me the 25 gems a day for 7 days. I forgot to claim my gems on 3 days. It said don’t worry if you miss a day you’ll get your gems, plus it said that you would get 110 extra gems. It is my last day I have not gotten 110 gems or the 3 day gems. ✓ Extremely racistThis game is extremely racist. It hurts so much to see my own culture mocked in a game like this. The Indian chef and customer do a stereotypical dance, but it doesn’t end there. There are so many other cultures and races that are being mocked in this game meant to show diverse chefs from around the world. Do better world chef. Fix up. ✓ UrgentPlease make expanding the flooring and getting the saw easier. It makes it very hard tonplay a game when its made so difficult to move forward. Even expanding the pantry getting all the tools to expand is so hard to get or require so many diamonds to get it makes the game very hard to play and its a shame cause its one of the best games. ✓ Fun Until You Want To ProgressI’ve been stuck home for months with a broken leg and was having a great time playing this game, but months without a way to get more gems other than buy them with real world money by holding the ones I earn hostage in the tip jar or earning the occasional gem that comes from watching tons of videos is not enough to keep me interested in wanting to progress. I have accrued hundreds of thousands in coins, but nothing to spend them on because we need gems for everything important that helps with progress. Plus, tools don’t drop often enough to help expand, so I can’t even waste coins on decorations even if I wanted to as I have no room to place them in my restaurant. ✓ Wonderful game but..If you compare this game to monster legends and dragon city. Those games made by social point gets way more attention, which means that social points doesn’t care about this game at all from my view since this game updated 1 week ago and others updated today but not this? Also another reason is that when you added the ‘Funk Dj Chef’ you didn’t put ANY effort into that chef at ALL, the design is nice and the animation also but the food? 1 dish psycho cookies which I like because it goes with the chef however others are just taken from the Carole chef, rice casserole, stuffed turkey etc I hope that you add nice chefs with new dishes. ✓ 0 stars don’t buy trust meHated the app in general. The food takes way to long to cook and you have to upgrade your storage every day!! The app takes a long time to load and one time it took 8 AND A HALF HOURS to cook A BURGER!!! And you needed to buy more food every hour or so! They guy would say “go shopping!” But then I would buy ONE THING and he would pop up and go “buy more storage with priceless diamonds! Or here is some more app purchases!” ARG!!!!!Also the app sends way to many notifications. Overnight in total I had about 30. The game gets boring after a few days to. ✓ Icons not loadingI’ve been really enjoying this game, but now a whole load of icons (onion samosa, onions, nigiri sushi, California roll, fishhooks) just show a loading sign instead of the actual icon, which makes the game very difficult to play when you are trying to work out what customers are trying to order. I have tried to message support about this, but the form wouldn’t submit, so there is literally no way to contact anyone about it!.Version: 2.8.4
✓ Expensive gameI don’t know what the motive of this game and I was addicted to it, I pay couples of hundred a month to keep buying gems with real money, I like helping everyone and love donating the food to them and that’s what we don’t do in real world, I wish that at least let us have more gems , let us do something that we can do it in actual world - donating food across the virtual world, donate our hard earn money to those who wanted to make this game look awesome by decorating them very often, expand the restaurant with minimum tools and minimum space rather than having so many tools keeping in storage which took up a lot of space. ✓ Could use some workI love the game, it’s very addicting. However, it really shouldn’t take so long for dishes to get made and etc. It’s very annoying to have to wait for the stuff to get done. One bowl of pasta or a plate of nachos shouldn't take 2 whole hours to make! Also, the game is making me buy the chill out area twice!! ✓ IrritatingMany things very irritating one is you can not sell any of the items you make for the super stars for example you end up with 100 motorcycles, second is they continue to give you cards to make the things you don’t need and not the items to move you forward in the game. Third the GEMS, I find this highly annoying that the opportunities to earn gems are very limited and then you created this tip jar and charge 5 American $ and it’s a one time thing!!! ✓ Events are pretty ridiculousYou need to get at least 25 tables served per day in order have a chance at getting all the rewards for the event. It’s possible if you essentially have no job. Not to mention the fact that for the two items available, you can keep getting those boxes after you’ve already gotten 15 of them so it’s even harder to get the chef. I would’ve completed this event (and many others previously) if it didn’t keep giving me stupid decor boxes. ✓ Limited edition events too hardI love this game but the the limited edition events where you can get a chef or decoration are way too hard. First, table orders can be very long and intricate and take forever to complete. Therefore, it’s hard to collect boxes to collect blueprints. Second, if I already have a decoration, it will still put blueprints towards it, which is frustrating as I want to collect the other items. If this was fixed, the game would be so much better cause I could actually collect chefs. Also, it would be nice if there was some goals to complete. I understand the gamers want to make events more challenging, but from bumping an item that took 30min to 2hrs is a bit much. You don't even have the chance to speed up the process for free once it gets under 1 minute. Customers are asking for meals with 2 stars on it and in order to achieve those stars for your meals, you have to do the big event. Be very strategic when you do events. Their ads are misleading to make you buy items that you end up not getting and under no circumstances will they return accidentally spent gems. They just tell you it's your problem and be more careful the next time. Very obnoxious and very clear that they don't care at all about customer satisfaction. All new chefs that come with events are messed up too. Either they don't have obvious names for dishes or they make dishes that other chefs make too. Also, they all use the exact same ingredient for every single dish. Every dish requires only sugar. Nice model for children who may play this. It's a pity. This used to be an enjoyable game. ✓ Good game but...It’s a fun game, addictive and the concept is great. But there are a few features that make absolutely no sense. For example, there are often events in which you have to collect cards -the more cards you collect the more chances you have to get another chef- but most of the cards you get are for decorations and not for the chef and also even if you get all of your cards for the decorations, those keep appearing which is stupid. So your chances of getting a new chef are pretty low unless you play 24/7. Also, you don’t get enough tools to expand your space but often useless cards which you won’t use anyway. Gems are so annoyingly hard to get, also expensive. It’s frustrating when I scroll down fast the shop to buy products and I click on new slot by mistake. ✓ Fun game, but too many pay trapsIt’s fun to play, but the game has too many pay traps. They will give you free diamonds to entice you to ‘need’ to buy more, but the amount of diamonds you need to spend to do anything just isn’t worth it. They also set the buttons that spend diamonds in the same places as regular buttons, so I have accidentally pressed them and spent diamonds when I didn’t really want to. Even if you spend a ridiculous amount of money on diamonds, the game is set up to make you accidentally spend them on accident. I’ve easily spent hundreds of dollars in other similar games because the benefit is there, and they don’t put as much effort into trying to trick you to spend the resources. The game would be much more enjoyable - and I’d be much more willing to actually spend money - if these two things weren’t the case..Version: 2.7.0

However, it gets stuck in a really annoying loop - tells me to tap on the gem jar (giving me no other option). When I do, the chef tells me to serve more tables to get more gems. It then zooms in on one table and doesn’t allow me to interact with other tables or the chefs, nor can I zoom in or out. ✓ Make getting special chefs easier!Let me start off by saying I love this game. I’ve played this game on and off for over 4 years. When I get a new phone, I always redownload this game. Now with that being said, I’m very upset that This game has become a waste of time. I literally play this game all day long. I have missed out on 3 of the specials chefs so far because even though I already have the other two items, I never end up getting all 15 boxes for the chef. I get duplicates of the other two items until I run out of time. It’s a bit ridiculous that the food items take 2, 4, and 6 hours! Please update and fix the game. It literally will not open at all since the latest update version 2.8.6. The socialpoint website ‘contact us’ feature is useless and does not allow us to press submit because we don’t know our user ID’s, it’s ridiculous as we can’t access a user ID from within the game settings when we can’t even open the game. I don’t mind how long some of the dishes take, the gameplay is interesting, but the mechanism for special events is unfair and a blatant attempt to make us spend money. I play the special events so I can receive the special chefs. Explain to me how I can receive 25-30 blueprints for the two decorations (which is 10-15 more than needed to unlock) but stay stuck on 14 blueprints (one away from unlocking!!) for the special chef for three. solid. days. Explain how that is fair gameplay, and not a completely transparent attempt to force me to spend money? I don’t spend money on games as a general rule, but I watch ads whenever the option is available so this game is making money off me that way. I should be able to unlock the special chefs, especially if I’m playing so much that I’m earning double the amount of blueprints for the silly decorations I don’t even use! ✓ Not impressedI haven’t been able to open the app for several days now! When I click on the app it looks like it’s going to open, but it just instantly closes. There’s no available update and I’ve cleared my cache, so it’s not that. ✓ Changes neededHi I like the game but have to agree with others it does take quite a bit of a long time for just one item especially if you are making 2 dishes of the same kind. It also doesn't allow you to gain enough money either considering your still waiting to serve the customer. For example the wine you grow takes about 15hrs then to make it another 15 or so it's not logical considering more then one customers are ordering it. It's waste of time quite frankly. ✓ Nothing loadsI downloaded this game because I used to play it a couple years ago and wanted to play it again. But none of the food pictures were loading. I tried re-downloading the app and everything but it would show up with the same issue. The burger chef was operating in the tutorial but displayed the building hut and the actual stand wasn’t there. ✓ Bugs bugs bugsThe gem purchase menu comes up frequently when I try to drag items, even when my finger is nowhere near anything that should make it happen. Dishes sometimes disappear immediately after I collect them. This is a new issue within the past couple of versions and didn't improve with the latest update- in fact it seems worse. This game is better than most at demanding you spend money on a consistent basis but could be even better. It does require patience and I don't mind that for the most part but the VIP items in the design studio do take much too long to accumulate and wine is also a ridiculous wait. I think most of this is done by design to encourage people to keep buying gems to speed things up. I realize the game exists to create profit but do ethics mean nothing? ✓ Loved this game but...When I first downloaded it, I was in love with the game, but after a while it became such a drag. I don’t earn enough coins, the food takes practically forever to be done, storage space has become a nonstop issue, and most of all the gems. It just makes it way way way too hard to get anywhere in this game, and for me I’ve been stuck in one place in it for almost a year now. I now barely play the game due to everything I just now listed. Especially the gems. It’s extremely difficult to earn any gems and if you do earn gems they pretty much all go into that gem jar that you have to pay money in order to get. Some of us, don’t have the money to spend on things like that in a game. I would recommend making some changes to these things and make it a lot easier to gain gems for those of us who do not want to have to pay money for it. ✓ Gems goneI have restarted this game many times on many different devices over the years because of how amazing it is. You can imagine my disappointment after getting back on the game after a few hours and noticing my 116 gems are gone and I’m only left with 16. I didn’t spend them on anything which is making me even more dissatisfied. In this game it is sort of hard to obtain gems and therefore I was saving up to buy some items in game such as the chefs but instead have wasted my time and gotten nothing for my efforts. I understand it’s just a game but frankly this could have happened if someone had spent money on the game and then that would be a real issue. ✓ Throwing in the towel for goodIf zero stars was an option I would have given it that instead of one. That is totally because of the customer service when there is a game issue and not the game it’s self. I loved this game. I mean, I absolutely loved it. I had played this game for at least three years. I had spent quite a bit of real money in the game as well. Unfortunately due to an accident a purchase was made with the gems I had been collecting for weeks to make a specific purchase. I contacted support to see if the purchase could be reversed and was told no it was not fair to reverse my purchase even though it was done accidentally. So, all the gameplay for the past five or six weeks has been for nothing. All wiped out because of a split second accident. I have no desire to start completely from scratch to earn enough gems to buy a specific chef now. I quit. I would have thought that the game would have been more understanding and would have helped resolve the issue instead they would rather lose a player and a customer. ✓ Good Game, But...I'd say that it's worth playing! Although I did enjoy it, for a good while, I dropped playing the game. Now that I've come back it's been nice! It didn't take long to figure things out again. There was lot more added to the game, like more chefs, which definitely helped improve it! My main issue with the game may or may not be new. The Gem Jar. At first it didn't really do much when I started back and then suddenly it gave me info on what it is. The thing that bothers me the most is that now when it's full (110) you lose any other gems. So now when a table's order is all complete, and they've paid, any gems I would have normally received are just being counted as LOST. So, the gems I earned from the point the jar filled up go to waste? (That is, unless I pay $7) I don't really know what this is but if having the gems I earned taken away continues I'm not so sure if I'll end up continuing to play this game..Version: 2.5.1

✓ Not happy nowI’ve been playing this game for quite a while now and had found it enjoyable. Lately though as you move up the ranks is becomes very frustrating as the levels take forever to complete and you are always selling meals as your kitchen is full. ✓ World chefAn appalling service. Unable to gain credits from doing tasks as waiting 6 days to be credited after completing a task then being told that without proof I cannot be credited. So much for a 4* game. I recommend to other players not to trust the promise they make when doing tasks as they fail to credit you for them even though they say you will be credited between 24-48 hours. It's a lie. It's a scam. And it cheats you out of credits you have earned. So please do not play. They need to fix this as I'm a constant player and feel that I no longer want to play..Version: 1.34.10
✓ A couple of bugs...Great game, but I have experienced a couple of bugs (as to be expected). First, when I opened one of my delivery packages, I didn't receive any essences, even though it was "guaranteed". Second, I have lost dishes when I tried to sell them to other players, but they just disappear! And third, when I go to the market to buy ingredients, often the display showing how long till you can buy more ingredients stays on the screen after I have left the market. I can't move it or get rid of it. Would be great if you could fix these bugs. Also, some dishes take a ridiculous amount of time to make, especially when you first unlock them as there is a higher demand for them. Great game, could be better if these things get fixed. ✓ Love-hate relationship with World ChefLet me start by saying that I love, love, love World Chef. I love the fact that your restaurant can be designed anyway you want. I love the personalities of each chef, I love seeing all the different foods and cultures. Most of all, I love the fact that customers don’t get angry or leave in anger, no matter how long a meal takes to prepare. I also love the facts that you don’t get ads. The only time you get ads is if you choose to watch a video to finish up cooking or to make customers finish up their meal. You truly can progress on world chef without spending any real money. An upgrade in the level of any dish also mean an increase in the “level progression star” you get for preparing that dish. You do need to be patient though, if you intend on progressing, without spending any real money. Despite my love for this game, I’m rating it three stars because developers have failed to address the problems that many gamers have had for years. (I don’t think I’ve seen any devs reply to any review). If you don’t mind spending money on the game, then the things I’ve listed below, may not be a problem for you. Problems: 1)Tip Jar: I really dislike the fact that the game forces players to pay $10, to collect diamonds that we’ve earned from serving tables. Mind you, this isn’t a one time payment. This happens EVERY TIME the jar is full. You can collect your diamonds even when the jar is not full, but the game charges you more than $10 if you do that. The worst part is, when the tip jar is full, any diamond earned after customers finish eating is wasted. Diamonds are hard enough to come by, and you only get a handful from watching videos (sometimes you don’t even get them at all). It’s extreme frustrating, especially since we need diamonds to unlock new chefs and upgrade the tools and cooking slots of existing chefs. 2)Level Upgrades: I love level upgrades because you unlock new foods, new decor, 3 more dinning tables for customers, and sometimes a new chef! However, even though you unlock 3 new tables per level up, you are only allowed to purchase 1. The game then tells you that you can purchase more when you get to the next level. I believe we should be allowed to purchase all 3 tables that we get from leveling up. In the case where a new chef is unlocked, you sometimes need diamonds to obtain said chef. Guess where these needed diamonds are? That’s right; locked up inside the tip jar 3)Meal preparation times: I love the fact that meals are made from scratch. I believe it ties into the authenticity of the game. However, the time it take to make certain meals is too long. A 30-50 minute cook time is understandable, because some meals do take that long in real life, but 2 hours?!!! In real life, I doubt anyone would wait almost two hours for just Nachos, regardless of how good the restaurant is. No, I’m not kidding. It takes almost 2 hours in real time, for the game’s nachos to be ready. I know some foods take hours to make, but I doubt anyone goes to a restaurant to wait for that long before they eat. However, if you don’t mind spending money, you can use diamonds to speed up this process. If you don’t want to spend money, you can leave the game for a while, occupy your time with other things, and then check back on the game later. 4)Diamond spending trap: When an order is some minutes away from being ready, the game gives you the option of watching an ad or spending 1 or more diamonds, to make the meal available immediately. This itself does not sound like a problem, until you realize that the option to spend diamond(s) is directly above the option to watch a video. The two buttons are stacked very close to each other too. If you’re not careful, you end up spending your diamonds, when you only meant to watch a video. There’s no way to take it back, and customer service will not undo the spend even if you tell them it was an accident. 5)Game Events: I like the game events because the game gives blueprints for 3 rewards. At the end of these events, if all blueprints are complete (15 blueprints per reward), you get a special chef. These events usually last for about 4 days. For instance, the pool party events gets you blueprints for a funk DJ chef, a DJ, and a chocolate fountain. To get the funk DJ Chef, you’d need: 15 funk DJ chef blueprints, 15 chocolate fountain blueprints, and 15 DJ blueprints. To access these blueprints, you need to open the golden crate. The crate only opens when you have at least 5 chef hat tokens (which aren’t too hard to obtain). I’ve found that the game does everything it can to avoid giving you the chef. For instance, you might have 13/15 or 14/15 chef blue prints, 16/15 DJ blueprints and 17/15 chocolate fountain blueprints. Instead of giving you a chef blueprint, to enable you complete the event, the game continues to give you either a DJ or chocolate fountain blueprint, until the event ends. All in all, I do enjoy playing World Chef, and I truly truly thing it’s an amazing game. It’s a game I’d definitely recommend it. I wish I could give it more stars, but the problems I’ve listed above make it a pain to play sometimes..Version: 2.7.7

✓ Gets worse over timeThe reason I think this game get’s boring over time is because at first it’s pretty fun, and that is where the 2 star rating comes in. I started to become addicted to it and played for it for hours on end, but it starts going downhill when you get your 3rd chef, that’s when when the criticism starts. You are interested in getting more chefs yet to get better decorations, you need diamonds to get the best decorations which I think is is dumb as hell in any of these build your own games. To get any diamonds you need to play for a whole month to get two or even three diamonds, this is a trick that these types of games do to get you to pay for a “free game”. After you get your sixth chef they leave you bankrupt. Unable to pay for any ingredients to cook food so the so the customers may stay at your restaurant for months on end until you waste real money on fake money to complete a game that will keep using it’s same tricks to waste more money. So unless you like a game that’s “free” and buy the fake money even though your going to be bankrupt again so you can pay for more fake money, than get it. Also another complaint is that some of the recipes don’t even matter anymore, like how no one orders the T-bone steak anymore. So in my opinion don’t buy this game..Version: 2.7.0
