✓ I NEED this to work on my iPad, NOPEI appears to be a decent app, but I can only get it to work on my iPhone. iPhone IS NOT on to conflict! I’ve uninstalled and reinstall, I’ve update OS, I’ve turned my F8n on/off, restarted BT over and over again. I’ve barked at the moon, asked for a few “come on’s” and I get rain instead. Works fine on my iPhone, but an iPhone isn’t the viewing and tweaking size I NEED. On neither device is it recognized as an installed app, ask SIRI to find it turn on, troubleshoot it; her answer, “Sorry not an installed app.” =((((.Version: 2.1.0

✓ App lacks basic functionality for Take Reset.I find the app a good extension for some of the work I do but the thought of having to disconnect the app from the recorder, change the scene take in the recorder in order to reset take number and the reconnect the mixer to the control app is the most disappointing thing about this app....Version: 1.1.0
✓ Step in right directionGood concept and definitely a step in the right direction. - Mixing with this app unusable, however, as levels drop a few db instantly when fader is touched, therefore ruining the take, happens on both iphone and ipad. Mixing with the tiny pots on the f8 really digs into fingers after a short while, and they’re so small that slight incremental changes are quite difficult; so a necessary update is needed for the app. - Resetting scene/ take number needs the f8 machine to be switched off then on to reset to tk001. - Entering scene notes as the take is recording would be helpful - A false take option needed - Naming individual tracks would be good.Version: 1.0.0

✓ Won’t ConnectJust like others have posted, I’ve updated the firmware on the F8n to 2.10 twice. I’ve installed the Bluetooth file twice. The F8 Control app v 2.1.0.47 WILL NOT connect. No password is asked for on the App on my iPhone 11 Pro Max IOS 13.4.1. But as soon as I turn off the F8n the app displays “Not Found the Zoom F8 Reconnect”. Please fix, that’s one reason why I bought this F8n was because of the App. I feel cheated!!!.Version: 2.1.0
✓ If you have a updated ios it won’t work because of lazinessUpdate needed. If anyone with iOS 13 or above has gotten it to work please let me know how. These complaints have been happening for years and it would be an easy fix but zoom is lazy and still won’t update for new iOS so when I use this at events I am stuck running back and forth and getting bad audio quality. ✓ FrustratedI can’t get it to work on my iPad Air ....followed all the instructions with no results...screen comes up on the iPad but it won’t prompt me for the password I see on the F8n screen it just sits there with some random numbers....after paying 900 dollars I expect the app would work...I also viewed utube for instructions over and over again ..what little hair I had left on my head is gone...also dleated the app and reinstalled it several times with the same results....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE FIX.Version: 2.2.0
✓ Current version will not connect with BluetoothThe current version will not connect with Bluetooth via iPad to IOS version 13. The IOS device will recognise the Zoom F8n but IOS will not offer a prompt to enter the password generated, rather the app will hang. I’ve reported this to the Australian distributor who also tested it on their devices and replicated the same error. The app itself looks excellent but for now one star as it’s not possible to use. I’ll update the review once this bug is fixed..Version: 2.2.0
✓ Not compatible with iOS 13?When prompting Bluetooth connection it offers “timecode” or “iOS 9-12.” My iPhone is on iOS 13 and while I can select “connect” it won’t prompt me with a dialogue to enter the connection passcode. ✓ Good App but Needs UpdatingApp is a good idea, little complicated to get up a running but works fine iPadOS 13.1.3. There are 2 areas that need improvement. Graphics and App need updating for iPad Pro 11 so that it looks sharp and fills screen. Sliders need to be more accurate / responsive as they jump when touched even using Apple Pencil. I will be using the App to start / stop and mute plus setup of channels and metadata. If you can fix 2 points above it would be 5 star..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Does not work on iPad with iOS 15 loadedApp installs ok. When launched it can see an F8n in the list of Bluetooth devices. When you click the F8 device displayed. The Bluetooth window disappears temporarily and then reappears with no devices shown. There is no way to remove the Bluetooth window. No screen to enter the pairing code. But the iPad says connected to device. Because the pairing can’t complete as soon as you exit the screen on the F8n it disconnects from the iPad. This software is not fit for purpose..Version: 2.2.0
✓ Needs work but gets the job doneIve used this app in several different ways with my F8. I wish I could make markers or marker cues list. I once did a factory reset on my device & had to reinstall the bluetooth file too so make sure you have the file handy. Please update!!.Version: 1.1.0

✓ UselessI imagine a day when app developers actually test the software before uploading it to the App Store. On every iOS device I have I tried to connect it to the F8n zoom and on every iOS device it’s the same, it asks for a password for the Bluetooth yet these inconsiderate app developers who have made this app for this expensive equipment has not bothered to even tested as there is no place to enter a password for the Bluetooth connection. From other reviews I can see has been an issue for quite some time. Now I have to waste my time search the Internet for a way to work around it otherwise I may as well have purchased hardware from other companies that actually support their users by testing their software before it’s released. UPDATED: So I sold my own issue no thanks to zoom Corp. On your Zoom F8n you have to go into MENU>>SYSTEM>>BLUETOOTH Then change the iOS from iOS 9-12 To To iOS 13 This is actually quite ridiculous to have to hunt down the settings when it should be clearly stated Anyways good luck everyone with your sound recording 👍.Version: 2.2.0

✓ Don't botherWhile the app is very pretty, it is maddenly frustrating in that it is almost good and useful. New users to the F8 will initially like it. As time goes by and you actually try to use it in a production environment you will discover its shortcomings. There plenty of forums around detailing all that is wrong with this. ✓ I’d give a 0, if I could.I cannot connect to either my iPhone 11 max pro or my iPad Pro. The app lists the f8n. I tap on it. It does not bring up a dialogue to enter the password displayed on the F8n. Instead, it redisplays the Bluetooth devices list again, with no entries.
