✓ Wish it wasn’t timedI like this series of puzzle games but Chapter 4 of this game is timed, and you have to rush. One if the key reasons I like the other games in the series is that you can take your time and puzzle things out. I hope none of the rest are timed because it’s too frustrating and there’s no enjoyment..Just This GirlVersion: 3.5

✓ Chapter 4 Is a Major LetdownCase 23 is the fifth installment in the Cube Escape series. Seasons, the first installment, should be played first, but so far, the order for the others doesn't seem to matter much. Seasons transcended the usual you're-stuck-in-a-room-try-to-escape storyline, and although some of the other installments in the series added further hints about what might be going on, none of them have an actual narrative until Case 23. Case 23 has less sense of mystery and a less compelling narrative than the first game, but it held my interest. Then the fourth chapter of Case 23 began, and suddenly I was forced to collect all the items and solve all the puzzles within a very limited amount of time. Not being on a timer is one of the things I love most about adventure puzzle games, so that felt like a huge slap in the face. I didn't even wait to solve the final chapter before writing this review to express my disappointment. I'm not entirely sure I'll ever finish the game. Maybe I'll just watch the video walkthrough instead. Granted, Loyalty Games gave themselves a tough act to follow with Seasons, and there are some good puzzles in the later installments, but at the moment, it feels as though the series just jumped a shark. ✓ I’m stuck with a bug?Overall, it’s a good game. I’m stuck on the recovering memories part. I’ve watched the walkthrough video. I can’t get the water to drain. It keeps me from moving forward. I don’t know how to reset the puzzle to start over. I’m just stuck. I’ve tipped the glass with water in it, and pressed the button to drain it. The drain opens and closes quickly. Nothing. ✓ Great but CrashesReally weird, creepy and interesting game. I’ve been working my way through the series, but I gave it 3 stars because I can’t click on the evidence photos in Chapter 1, the game continuously crashes here no matter how many times I reboot the game. ✓ It would have been better without the timer.I skipped the last part in the end and just watched the walkthrough for it. It has too tight a time limit even when you know what to do. ✓ Bugs?I’m currently on a Cube Escape marathon, and all the games function near-perfectly on mobile, but this one seems to be very broken. The bug in the beginning, for example, disappears, making it impossible to retrieve the key.
