✓ HelpHey this is a great game... when I get to play. Everytime I play it is always laggy at the beginning meaning I cant play the first round so I close the app and reopen then its fine for 2 games then lags again. When I say lag I mean everything moves so slow and lags so bad I cant move any pieces and time jumps and doesn't flow. My phone also gets really hot after playing which is when I know its gonna lag. Its and iphone 6 please fix the lag problem so I can play more ❤️.Version: 2.5.8

I unfortunately struggle to play this game and not have problems with obtaining specific items. Gems are key ingredient in obtaining most heroes, and you can obtain other items in a few ways. That’s the problem, a few ways. Other items are harder to get and are not well explained. VIP carries too much weight, had it for a month and was not impressed. You need lots and lots of gold and other items to improve your heroes. These items are not explained good enough. Items in the store: gems, gold and…boring. Items needed for heroes need to be easier to obtain, be explained better, and stop putting so much emphasis on buying things and VIP. Items needed to improve heroes should not require a trip to the store or special privileges. Getting these items needs to be frustrating or require money. ✓ My GO TO GameLove This game. It is a money hole though in order to be able to be an asset to your guild you must try to become someone to contend with. I think I have been playing 3-4 weeks I have a great GUILD and good team I have built BUT IT COSTS MONEY. Really you should reward those who spend money each with a rare bonus and give up the option of gifting someone we choose plus an instant help to the person on the lowest level in your guild. I played HEROES M&M for many years and this seems like a massive upgrade..Version: 3.15.4

✓ Well DoneGotta say, I really love playing. Have run into some glitches here and there, but they are always quick to get them sorted and provide in-game compensation for any missed or incomplete-able content. And I do find it can be very taxing on the iPhone 6 battery, especially with the volume turned up. The last update brought some awesome QOL features that I really appreciate, especially hero ability queuing. I do hope they bring some customization to the notifications in a future update. The game picks up at rank 15, which unlocks events. You will spend ranks 1 to 15 getting familiar with the mechanics and acquiring gems. I highly recommend holding onto the gems until you can do events. Between events, the daily dungeon, pvp, guild wars, the gear dungeon, the main campaign and more, there is a ton of content to experience. For those who don’t mind to spend a few bucks there is the hero pass and elite hero pass that can help you along the way and I highly recommend getting them at the “new player” prices. While absolutely not required, it can be fun to splurge on a few extra packs for that chance at additional hero’s. For me throwing a few bucks their way to say “Good Job” was a no brainer. There is a lot to enjoy from the game both in mechanics and artwork, but do expect to loose a few hours of your day having fun battling away!.Version: 2.2.0

✓ Way too expensive!!!!!I love playing this game! The graphics are great! There is so much strategy it will keep you entertained for hours. And this is what we are talking about entertainment and mind exercise. But to stay competitive and to participate in all that this game has to offer takes hundreds of $$ a day. That is just ridiculous. Also when making purchases it promises you certain items but is on a tiered system and gives you lesser items. It keeps asking for more and more money I don’t know if you every get all the items it takes for a campaign or not I am always force to stop after spending a couple hundred $$ in one sitting. I say this so if your not prepared to spend 1000s of $$ per month don’t download load this game and take a nice trip to Hawaii or something. ✓ Great game...Ok devs it’s a fantastic game no doubt but I do have a suggestion to make the game a bit smoother, when in battle if another player attacks the target you are attacking could you possibly not make it pop up in the middle of the screen slowing down the process of the battle? All the animations that take place slow the rate of play drastically and are quite annoying in fact. If another player attacks can’t it just pop up under the bosses name or something so it doesn’t interfere with your gem matching?.. just a thought. Good game otherwise..Version: 3.0.5

✓ Great game 1 minor problem so far.Overall legendary provides entertainment and challenge to the player as you level your characters up and strengthen your team, being in a guild will certainly help you out as a lot of players have some maxed out card that deals a lot of damage that’ll help you out, one small and easily overcome problem is 1 or 2 mechanics aren’t clear (e.g: I can’t do guild wars because I don’t have a relic, but I wasn’t told this) I found out from the players in my guild that relics unlock at level 12 and is fairly easy to unlock, you get a fair amount of experience on the missions you do and shouldn’t take any more than 30 minutes if you have the time to play, players are friendly and have explained a few things you probably wouldn’t know about until you reached the required level. This game doesn’t grab for your money to make progress it’s completely optional, going through events gets you crafting materials that you can make a powerful card out of when you have enough, or if you want, you can buy a premium pack or commander pack and receive the characters you want. I’d say legendary is a really good investment of time for a mobile game. It’s Better than the other card/puzzle games I’ve played in a long time..Version: 2.5.11

✓ Fun game with depth and great supportThis game starts out deceptively simple. It looks like any other match 3 with RPG elements, but there’s so much more to it. The first 30 levels can be a bit of a grind, but once you start playing events and collecting event cards it gets REAL fun. I’m hooked. I’ve found an awesome guild with some friendly and helpful allies. I’m at rank 55 right now and still learning new mechanics. It is a free-to-play, pay-to-win game. I wish the gems were a bit cheaper sometimes. I’m happy to throw in some money here and there to make that next leap, but it’s not necessary to progress. Just helpful. The devs work really hard on this game and are always introducing new content. I’m happy to support them. The main reason I decided to write this review though, is their customer support. I submitted a support ticket for lost event keys and no joke, TWO MINUTES LATER my keys were credited to my account. At 10:30 on a Friday night. Just...wow. I’ve never gotten that kind of a response from CS. These guys treat their players very well. The rep who helped me was Nikki, and I want to give her a shoutout if anyone reads this. ✓ Pretty awesome..says a girl who’s never really cared for rpgs. I learned about this game through a live demo and thought it was pretty cool. So I downloaded it and haven’t regretted it since. Collecting heroes is cool. Evolving them is hard. Awakening them is even harder. But well worth it I think. I do wish the items collected contained information on them just like the heroes have. Maybe info such as what it’s used for, which heroes or affinities benefit from it, etc...maybe have an area where we could sell them off for coins too. As mentioned in other reviews, in-app purchases are pretty pricey, even if it’s using your own gems. I too have been caught in the misguided advertisement of getting a rare hero card only to discover that you get it at a particular “tier”. (2nd or 3rd purchase of a pack). But, you soon learn to read thoroughly once you’ve made that mistake. Lol With that being said, tier purchases are pretty awesome once you can afford to do so. I was lucky enough to score a gem special of 10,000 gems for $20. (regular price is $100) I was then able to make tier purchases and get some pretty amazing heroes, shards, catalysts & stamina. ✓ 4 stars but has some glitchesLove this game. Came across it on an add from a different game and honestly I play it daily. I’ve deleted other games because not nearly as fun. I rated this as 4 stars because mine has some glitches that make it less fun. In the gear dungeon- caves of (starts with an s) mine always freezes and shuts the whole game down. So I lose the key and never seem to get anything and considering this level takes forever it makes it a giant waste of time to try and play it. When playing the puzzle game it will move things the wrong way occasionally or not let you change pieces and you end up like wasting a turn. Biggest pet peeve is the “random” pick of hero’s you get when you buy a pack. I almost never get anything but earth characters. Or I get the same only three star card over and over. Plus earning pieces to upgrade you character takes forever to achieve. Plus the amount of energy you need I order to keep playing isn’t proportional to how much you gain when moving forward but that’s super minor. Minor things but really would be nice to get the glitches solved and the character card actually more randomly dispersed. Overall love this game challenging but you still feel like you are moving forward in it..Version: 1.10.3
✓ Amazing!This is literally one of the best games I’ve ever played, it’s totally awesome! At first I thought it was pretty lame up until I saw someone else play it, got interested and BAM! I’m addicted to the game now haha. I’ve got no problems with the game itself, just that I think the prices for gems and gold are maybe a little too high, so a lot of people don’t bother with it. Also I’ve heard that there has never been an event that has come around a second time, I’d suggest either sending events up around a second, third and so on times as it’d allow players a second chance, and more will probably join in. Or you could bring out the event packs and keep them in stores for a temporary amount of time every now and then. You could also add some of this stuff to the forge and forge bosses, or make a completely new feature in the game which would allow users a chance to redo an event even by themselves, well just let them continue where they left off from. ✓ The BEST puzzle RPG!So currently, I’ve only left one other written review on the AppStore. I save my written reviews only for apps that I believe really deserve the praise, and this is definitely one of them. I have been playing Legendary: Game of Heroes since around early 2016, after a few years I finally decided to become a VIP player and I can honestly say that I do not regret making that decision at all. It has been so worth it to me, and this is coming from an old veteran player who started the game years before even considering becoming a VIP. I’ve seen this game go through so many changes in the past years, and although I will admit some of them I haven’t been too fond of, I will always continue to love and support this game with my whole heart. I know it won’t be for everyone, but for those of you considering getting this game- just remember that it is VERY easy to get caught up in it lol. Anyways, I’ve been wanting to leave a review for this game for a while now and finally I have said my peace. ✓ Fun to and Multilayered - GREAT Customer Service!First I want to say that for issues this game has the most responsive and on point customer service I’ve experienced. I haven’t had any back and forth with email communications, but my issues get fixed. I try to be as concise as possible all the time but most devs seem to not understand or hear my issue. And I’ve always spent money, never tried to scam, so that is VERY frustrating. These guys just fix the issue quickly. It makes investing time and money in gameplay much more comfortable. I’ve stopped playing a game I spent way too much money on (embarrassing and jaw-dropping so won’t say amount but 5 figures I’m sure) for this very reason. Very thankful to them. Game play is fun. You def want to join a guild. The game evolves for me over time based on my understanding of it, which is interesting. I really like collecting cards and evolving them. ✓ My favorite game in the App Store No questions askedI have found a great appreciation for the team who developed this game with weekly events. Great chemistry for what they made and it flows well the the obvious puzzle method they chose. And as well as the game is a 5 star i my book however when it comes to the information of the game itself its more like (teach yourself or your screwed) situational game. It’s hard to look for stuff or feedback about it besides the format where the community can come together, but its not enough. There needs to be a way to explain how the puzzle methods, evolution of those puzzles and how the payment methods (loyalty, dust, etc) and finally the event scheduling. And im talking solely about what creatures will be in the forefront for that event and will they ever come back in the forefront. Otherwise my favorite game.Version: 1.13.1
✓ Crashes and notificationsOkay genuinely enjoy the game. I do. But the sheer amount of notifications I get HOURLY (if in a guild) is too excessive. I only want to be notified if my stamina is filled or important stuff like that but having a guild notification pop up on my screen every 5 minutes is absolutely annoying and I end up turning of all notifications and I can’t get let know when I can start finishing stages again. I like how clash of clans does it where they notify you every so often throughout the day. It’s not excessive. I don’t even wanna be in a guild anymore due to how much goes on at once. Oh also... the game made my phone flip out. It froze my phone twice to the point where I couldn’t lock the screen or go to the home screen or even force restart my phone. ✓ Pretty good gameI’ve been playing for about 8 months and I must say that this game is pretty good. It’s like a mix between Magic the Gathering and Bejeweled. It’s not as bad as some people make it out to be. Yes the learning curve is steep, I’m still learning. At times it does feel like a cash grab but that is rare in my case. I spend the $5.99 for the 14 day gem package. That’s all I really need. Sometimes I might spend a little more depending on the event. As far as competition goes, I’m not a very competitive person. I don’t mind losing a battle or not being in first. I’m just here to have fun. I used to play Magic the Gathering a lot so I love the deck building aspect. You can build some pretty cool decks once you get a feel for the game. If you want to be a competitive player then you will have to invest money, just like Magic the Gathering. Patience is the key here. It will take time to learn, but once you are in a good guild, have at least one decent - good deck, then you will have fun. I don’t go all out. I play events to the best of my ability. It’s taking me quite a while to build a decent gvg deck, but all is well now. If you want good cards you can take chances like I do and dust cards to buy more cards in the dust store. It’s a gamble but overall, it’s worked for me. I highly recommend the game. ✓ Best Free Game 10/5I have played this game since almost the beginning, my phone died and I lost my progress, but the first thing I did when getting my new phone was downloading this game. You become and obtain better items if you play it more, and the premium gems are obtainable when you perform better and are more active. With little to no waiting for timers to evolve or obtain items, Legendary Game of Heroes is one of the best free games I have, and most likely ever play, considering that you have high quality graphics, a ranking system which allows you to develop cards, relics etc and you can get card packs with gems with you receive weekly. On a downside note (but not really) Dungeon coins are few and far between only obtaining 4, 5 times a week, (so one big relic is 2weeks 3days of dungeon coins) a heafty vip price, a few people who are massive pay to win players (but you don’t really encounter them because they are in a different rank to you) and a sturdy internet connection. (But you can still make do) This game is 10/10 let alone five stars or the negatives Absolutely love this game and is a must play for any occasion. - Blue_Eyed_Feline.Version: 2.4.0

It’s now one of my favorite iPhone games ever! Totally addicted. Graphics are absolutely AMAZING, soundtrack is epic (although slightly repetitive, it’s good enough that it doesn’t grate on your nerves) In-app purchases are a bit expensive; as another reviewer said, be warned on the packs - you won’t get the cards/heroes they’re advertising until you buy the pack a couple of times (Tier 2, 3, etc). Considering that games of this graphics caliber are usually big $, & I’m enjoying it so much, spending the $ is acceptable to me - especially because in-app ads are virtually nonexistent. Only major complaint is that it causes insomnia - downloaded a week ago and I’ve had 2 nights where I couldn’t put it down!
