TOTAL CRAP - I'd give it a -5 star, if I couldWorst user experience. Prob the worst app I've ever used. Took me 10 min to figure out total on the reservation made. These idiots have never seen the Airbnb app or site. Text is scrolling off the page; none of the features in the photo section work; no dragging, editing, changing cover photo. I'm removing my listing because of how pathetic the app & site are. Wake up you immature, feeling entitled developers..Version: 2.0

Needs major workThe app concept is good, but very limited on execution. I cannot upload photos of our units........I certainly can upload multiple photos in the VRBO and Airbnb apps....Come on TA! Get with it.Version: 7.1.1

Worst rental app!Logging into multiple Flipkey/holiday rentals account with this app is complete torture & all customer service can say is change the email address for 1 of them. Here's a suggestion, give us back the single login, with the ability to stay logged in for each account. It needs improvementSome aspects of the app are great. Others not so good. What really needs improving is the reply to message. When you reply you can't see the original message and also disappears if your phone locks. It's very frustrating..Version: 2.1

A mixed blessing!I did really like this app - particularly the new dashboard format. However, I think that I have lost 2 bookings tonight because of a dodgy network connection. It is sending me notifications of people who want to book, but every time I try to respond I get a network connection error. Same if I go in via the website. This would not be so much of an issue if there was actually a contact number somewhere so that I could find out if they definitely had a problem their end. I've checked my connections and they're fine. I can use all other apps and websites without a problem, it is only when trying to respond to trip advisor that the whole thing goes kaput. Very frustrating. Help topics don't cover it and no email or phone contact details anywhere. Disappointing..Version: 2.0

Sync is hopelessWhen bookings on other platforms are cancelled the sync doesn’t work and I can’t free the dates on TripAdvisor although they show as free on the other one. Neither the app nor the online version will let me change it back to free..Version: 8.0.2

Don’t waste your timeI rent two apartments and a house on Airbnb and Homeaway and thought that adding another platform would be a no brainer… Boy was I wrong. I have not had one positive rental experience from TripAdvisor in over 2 years. From over-needy guests, to scammers attempting to book last minute, horrible customer service, exorbitant fees and add-ons, and the list could go on and on. Constantly refreshing and full of errorsIf you have a previous version, DO NOT Upgrade to this one!! I recently updated the app and what a mistake that was. The app is now constantly refreshing/updating itself every time I try to do anything. Or when I switch between this and other apps. Often when responding to inquiries I switch between this app and others to copy and paste info and now when I do that it resets itself and does not save what I had just written. The interface hasn't changed much from previous version, but at least before it didn't freeze and constantly refresh. Horrible update. #Tripadvisor, hope you're reading this and fix the bugs soon. Awful "improvement"Hate this app. Old Holiday Lettings one was so much better. Particularly dislike the portrait only feature. Does not work on my iPhone, but only on my iPad or pc which is a nuisance if I'm travelling. There is no facility for guests to book extra services like breakfast hampers or dogs, so if they confirm their booking and pay their deposit I then have to cancel their booking and requote to include the extra charges which makes guests uneasy. I suppose I could take the extra payment directly but this is against the rules. Real backwards step on the upgrade. Please fix it.Version: 2.0

Does not cover all tasks requiredI had to reload it on my I phone today as it got ‘stuck’ on one feature. It doesn’t cover enough tasks that you may wish to do, it’s not listed on the app selection page as Trip Advisor but can only be found under holiday Lettings (no mention of this anywhere on main web site so you have to track it down on the app selection list). It’s handy if you are out for the day to notify you of a new booking (so you can remove dates from your own booking system and you don’t double book). I don’t get many bookings from this system, Holidsy Lettings/Trip Advisor - probably because of their high ‘service fees’ they add on for the customer. Very enjoyable being able to do a review of a Trip Advisor product to see how they like it!!! Ha ha.Version: 8.0.2

No option to sign up?? FAILIf you don't give users an option to sign up... You failed usability test #1. Though I assume all your regression tests start with logging in... Not actually signing up as a new user. All there is - is a user name and password field with a forgot password link and sign in button. It's works, it's clunky, God forbid a call or text arrives while typing!It's an ok app. It lets me do what I need to while managing my listing. So it works. However: it's clunky and awkward. The menu drop down just feels a little funny. Not the best UI but usable. Biggest issue: WHY DOES IT FULLY REFRESH WHEN ANYTHING HAPPENS ON MY PHONE?? I've had to rewrite a response several times only to finally give up and write in Notes app so that when a text comes in or I flip to another app to refer to dates the whole damn thing doesn't reload and blow away everything I was writing. So frustrating. I'm assuming it's live polling the website in the most literal sense, I am not typing in the app, I am typing on the website via the app and nothing is stored locally like a regular well behaved app. Fix this for the love of God, please and I'll give ya a couple more stars. One of the worst apps Ive usedThis app is poorly designed and has obviusly been rushed through production. The User Interface is at best average but its the small bugs that get to you. For instance when trying to change the status of a date in the calendar, pressing in it makes the app think you want to make a phone call. Use Airbnb if you want a better app..Version: 2.1

Super AnnoyingThis app drives me crazy as it refreshes itself if you get distracted and erases any information about your rental you may have added to help provide info to potential guests. Need to catchupRival platform’s apps are much more user friendly. There’s a lot you can’t do via this app and therefore have to login online to perform them - which is a chore. Rival apps have better auto-response message templates which one can set leading up to a booking. Also the option to archive/remove messages from the inbox. Very mediocre app, needs so much improvementI recently left Tripadvisor to let my apartment via Airbnb as this app is terrible. It loses your messages half way through writing, is such a basic navigation, and isn't very reliable. Potential Guests also have had issues paying and I have lost bookings because of it. Not mobile-friendly. Quite appallingFor a company as big as trip advisor this merging of flipkey, holiday lettings and niumba is a complete disaster that's been released way too prematurely. I advertise through flipkey and HL but cannot switch between accounts on the app (as one can do with multiple Twitter accounts). Also, much of the text and images are way off the page and can be found lurking off-screen if one scrolls to the right. This is very unprofessional and shows a lack in planning, foresight and thought for what the app's purpose might be. I really hope they fix it soon as working with the app's predecessors was so much easier and smoother.Version: 2.0

Waste of timeI was hoping trip advisor would help me expand my vacation rental reach. No such luck… I looked in the trip advisor site for my vacation rental - it’s not there. I found some separate TA site which has my rental pulled from vrbo… rate is wrong, pics are old and it doesn’t show up when searching nearby areas on the main TA site. No ability to search for a cabin or list nearby sites. So…. I go to the owner app and see the property I am trying to promote but it’s no where to be found. So I’d like help but there’s no body to call- no phone numbers for owners. I need help please!.Version: 8.0.2

Impossibly difficultTried to load new photos on 3 different devices. Message said it was compatible, try another device,all times. Impossible to navigate site. INCOMPATIBLE with many SMS and makes you go to inbox on site. Will not allow certain communication with guest until they pay ENTIRE fee, even after paying deposit. If a guest asks specifics of neighborhood, How transportation goes,your last name etc or ANYTHING A guest might need to know for planning their trip or safety/ accessibility concerns, site deletes your message and guest thinks you did not bother to answer them..Version: 7.2.0

Embarrassingly poor applicationThis app really struggles with identity - knowing who you are - as it does this so badly, you'd expect the support to merge accounts to be great but it is terrible and the support isn't there - Web pages don't load, if you choose to sign in with email and then you realise you should have used Google, you can't go back. Can't even login - doesn't even mask errorsTakes you to an Apache auto generated error page about get methods failing. Wow. Worst app I've seen. Even worse than HomeAway..Version: 2.1
