✓ P2P and P2WThis game like most mobile games is free to download and start. Once you get any kind of distance into it though you’ll start running into the pay to win players. When your base is level 4 and your opponents is level 6 you know you have a slim chance of winning. When their cards are 2-3 levels higher and they have multiple legendaries while you have one you know you’re going to lose. When your opponent seems to be able to summon faster than you, you know you’ve lost. It’s a fun game when you start. The biggest problem is that unless you’re willing to pay for the packs. Which are more expensive than packs of actual physical cards, you won’t be able to get far. This game is fun to start... Until you lose 4 matches in a row to pay to win players..Version: 1.0.4

✓ One big problemOk so I really like the art style and the play mechanics of this game but I need to delete and re download it once a day because it stops loading. I wish it would just load consistently every day. On the plus side it seems to have retained by progress so far but it’s not fun to have to re install it over and over..Version: 1.4.8
✓ Balance is bad, progression is tooThe game seems technically good, has great graphics, and differentiates itself somewhat decently. Unfortunately, the balance of the game doesn’t make a lot of sense sometimes. It’s mostly not a big problem since these games are based on paying for better versions of the same units your opponent has access to, but stuff you should be excited to get (legendaries) can feel really underwhelming in play. But tying factions to your honor rating just purely doesn’t make sense, sorry. That’s going to make me uninstall. It pretty firmly roots this game in the “have a bad time until you play enough” category and there’s way better games if I want to do that..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Save your time, don't playRanking is a joke, you're constantly put up against players that are at a much higher level/rank than you. Low cost cards are broken as well, the majority of players can just spam a ton of low cost cards to flood the field in their favor. And because they're at a higher level than you even your low cost cards are no match since they're much weaker compared to the opponents ones. If you want any of the good cards be prepared to spend money. Save your time and don't play..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Rating will be higherThis game is incredible. But the change you guys recently made to the Challenge Mode is horrible! I’m not sure what the devs were thinking, but it’s a bad choice. You’re lucky if you even win once. The less experienced players don’t even have a chance to win at all. It seems to me, and a lot of other players, that this is some sort of ploy to keep rewards away from us so we spend more money. Here’s a thought: if you want players to spend money, make the packs affordable! And give us more of a variety! They’re too expensive and there isn’t much of a choice. Also, give us a way to purchase coins! You don’t need to take challenge from us. I feel like you devs don’t know a thing about marketing, but whatever. Anyway, I’ll change my rating to 5 stars once you guys give us our challenge mode back. This terrible decision you guys made is going to kill your game. ✓ 🤦♂️Soul of Eden where do I even begin! Firstly; the game has been out long enough that no one should have to wait over a minute just to be matched with another player. This may not seem like a long time but try it. Sit on a loading screen that clearly states <9s and just sit there for a full minute or even longer. This either speaks volume to the fan base or lack there of or it speaks to the quality of matchmaking or lack there of. Secondly when you are matched you shouldn’t be forced to play against someone with cards 5 to 6 times higher than your own. As I have mentioned in previous reviews of Soul of Eden. This is really not a skill based game. It’s a luck based lottery draw style game. Yes; you get to setup your massive deck of cards; 30 cards to be exact. But you don’t get to choose which cards you start the game with. You can change out a few cards at the beginning of the match but and this is a big ol but; 9 times out of 10 the card you got rid of ends up being the exact same card that is given back. So much for not wanting to start the game with a handful of high elixir count cards you were hoping to save for when that x2 elixir kicks in. The premise of the game is rather appealing but how they chose to implement the game is appalling. When you take away all the bells and whistles in Soul of Eden you are basically left with a multiplayer casino game where lady luck never seems to be on your side..Version: 1.1.4

✓ Horrible gameI liked it until it stopped good matchmaking. I was 1 win Away from a legendary pack when it suddenly put me up against people 1000 trophies above me. I dropped a full 1000 trophies before quitting and going back to clash Royale. Do Not Play This Game.Version: 1.1.4

✓ UI Navigation Too SlowThis game has promise but navigating and moving through the UI is so slow and at often times annoying. The animations that commence after an action such as upgrading a unit or receiving a reward are frustratingly sluggish and should be 2x faster and take less time to load. This takes away from the gameplay and the overall experience, which is very unfortunate as this game is entertaining in many aspects. Also, the tutorial for the game when a player first downloads and plays it is ridiculously and unecessarily slow and clumsy as well. While showing new gamers how to play is important, the tutorial shouldn't be a pain to get through. There should be a way to skip and come back to it later or the tutorial should limit the player's actions and movements and get to the part where the player acts for themselves and is left to win the match. If these complaints are addressed, I believe the game will be much smoother and the overall user experience improved. If anything, please make tapping on the screen a way to skip through animations..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Too competitiveThere is such thing as being too competitive. Let’s start with you have to earn trophies to unlock new card decks and other stuff but if you lose a fight you lose trophies (it make more sense for you to earn more trophies when you win and you get less trophies when you lose). Plus this battle ranking system that guarantees you get paired up with someone eventually that’s going to beat you so at some point and you are gonna start losing trophies and I do understand losing part of the game. Also I’m disappointed in Rayark for not thinking a better thing music that sounds like another games and better battle system.Version: 1.0.4

✓ Great gameIts like clash royale style but 4 different decks themes to combat with so its not as repetitive on what to expect. Theres room for doing strategy different ways with different units. My only complaint is they have ‘guild missions’ which seem great in principle but were poorly executed by the developers. High level players keep themselves low to easily complete these guild missions by stomping lower players. Not wanting to pay to level up my guys and doing the slow grind makes fighting higher level players all the time very frustrating..Version: 1.0.4
✓ At first it was fun but...The main issue with this game is that some units are way overpowered and most players are using those units to no end. Not much of a strategy there. Lots of players are using the federation guardian units that split into many units and kill anything you grow at it Lots of wins are because this cheap winning mode. Administrators need to limit the use of those over powered units to make game more enjoyable and fare. I will stop playing because of this cheap overpowering usage of units that are a strategy game breaker. No strategy just get those units and you win most of the time..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Could be a lot better.I love Rayark played all their games and spent probably over $500 on everything all together, because it was worth it. But with this, it’s just not. Sure there are deals, but it’s still a RNG thing. Most of their other games are rhythm games and have loads of DLC, and that works. This company does many things well; storytelling, gameplay, immersion. I would’ve loved to pay for a game with a story that played like this. The game falls short on a few things; matchmaking, crashes (have an old phone too so I can’t blame them too much) and a very obvious pay to win mindset. The matchmaking is pretty bad when a person with all level 5 cards is battling in bronze. I’ve lost at least 400 gems and thousands of gold to random crashes. And a RNG that rewards a pay to win mindset. I know this is how most mobile games are, I just expected better from Rayark..Version: 1.0.4

But if your gonna make it competitive you still need to do a LOT of Balancing. Feels like a P2W... ✓ In gameWOW! Reading the other reviews It has been one year and looks like the game has not progressed at all. Matching ques are still very long. The matching is unfair putting you up against people who are higher level than you. You vs the same people over and over again and it feels like you are matched up with bots. The only reason I stopped playing because as stated above I vs people that are higher level. Which means they have stronger units and it completely ruins the game. I have said this in a last review and it looks it it hasn’t been fixed… going lose lots of people because of this, me included. This can’t compete with clash royal i am sorry. ✓ Unbalanced and extremely P2WI don't know why people are saying this F2P friendly. When you start playing you might feel that way because you seem to get lots of rewards and levels, but if you play enough on the first day you'll hit a wall. The ranks that I achieved in the first day are completely unreachable now because I'm always overpowered by the opponent. I don't like how they've fooled the player into getting into the game and then they make it so difficult in order to push you into buying their extremely expensive packs. Also, yeah, the ui and art is pretty but the experience is extremely annoying. The app keeps crashing for no reason at all most of the times. It feels so slow and draggy that I tend to get really sleepy while playing as well..Version: 1.0.4
✓ Laggy and unbalancedOk so the game lags allot and only thing to do is close the app and reopen it. 2nd balance issues. Once you unlock aliens you will most likely get beat every time by termite swarm. Even with the wipe from the first class you get decimated by the sheer speed and how fast they attack. Didn’t even bother to unlock all classes as it’s tied to a pvp battle pass we’re you can’t even unlock them until you get high enough ranks. Don’t get me started on that system. Bronze players going against silver or higher. The fact that that happens ok I guess it could happen but there should be a weight to it at least.Version: 1.0.3
✓ Mediocre GameFirst, let me compliment the games wonderful art style and UI the game has. However, this game is plagued by multiple issues. 1. The current meta states that any player that moves first has the higher chance of failing, leading to a boring 30 secs or even longer of the players just staring blankly at each other. 2. The HEAVY reliance on the P2W units with an absurd high amounts of health and special abilities. Like I get that they’re meant to be the rare gacha units of this game and whatnot, but players simply stack their deck with these characters and disregard strategy in favor a of a buff tank with powerful attacks that require the other player to tackle it with multiple cards. 3. The abused pricing of the things in the shop. 50-80 dollars for a singular special character along with some gems!? DLC and other quality games are less than that! The game’s buying audience is obviously orientated towards whales who spend absurd amounts of money to one up the competition, letting the F2P to suffer..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Great Game, but super unbalanced needs a reworkThe game is great when it comes to everything but the pvp, the pvp in this game is so unbalance that you can die to soldier’s that cost 2 bars that means you can drop 3 sets of 4 soldiers in the beginning of the game meaning you have to defend your self from 12 soldiers with guns that’s if you can even get out enough characters with how slow the recharge is I swear it takes 15 seconds in between each recharge just to drop one character into the battlefield but by then your queen could be half hp or dead by then on how quick it takes to kill your queen. Are you being over run by enemies forget about it you already lost in the first minute of the battle haha, here’s a suggestion: limit the amount of characters you can put on the field at a time, reduce recharge to 3 seconds so I don’t have to watch the enemy team go from there side to mine in matter of 5 seconds and nerf that small creature thing that spits slim that almost does 300 damage or raise its cost to 4 or 5 that thing is overpowered oh and one more thing if I put a character on the field please make the other characters turn toward it I’m tired of seeing my queen with 600 hp and me trying to make a effort to kill the enemy character that is completely ignoring me bushing his face in just so I can watch it kill my queen, I can’t defend if I can’t even get the enemies attention.Version: 1.0.4
✓ The game is overI am in level 9 with more than 500 score in season. It is really difficult to search an opponent. If you could bear for search an opponent for more than 10 minutes every time, it would be a good game for you..Version: 1.0.3
✓ It has a clumsy feel...I tried to like it, got 3 of the 4 factions to gold in less than two days without spending money, so its not that i am a bad player. But things just feel awkward. Building a deck the pictures dont match, hard to tell which alien blob i have and dont. Also in your decks it doesnt tell u what cards u can upgrade. This makes progressing a complete pain when u have to keep checking your full card list all the time. The card balance and randomness was the deal breaker tho. It isnt about strategy, its about getting lucky and getting the overpowered cards. Grind and grind but if u get the wrong cards u dont improve. U get the right cards and u instantly are overpowered. No fun to play games like this that are a dice roll instead of strategy. Lastly the guilds are done poorly. U cant send messages with your application, u cant see how active groups are, so it is really a pain going guild to guild of low quality inactive players..Version: 1.0.3
