✓ Not worth the asking price..This is not a bad game by any means. The graphics are fantastic, the storyline is good and the gameplay/combat system is exceptionally smooth and responsive, while also allowing for customisation of abilities and different weapons. However, the levels are linear and become repetitive too quickly. Enemies differ in type and difficulty, but the entire game is just the same sort of thing all the way through, leaving it with little replay value. ✓ Excellent already: UpdateNew review: After playing the game for a while, it got less fun. The strong points are the graphics and the controls. It gets repetitive and more grinding as you get father along. The upgrades don't seem to make a huge difference and I've accidentally sold good ones because it's confusing. The characters aren't very likeable and sound robotic. The story also makes sense in the sci-fi mecha setting but doesn't seem anything special. What seemed like an awesome game was just mostly cosmetic with not that much substance. I'm glad I got it on sale. It's a good game but flawed, and I grew frustrated with it where it just became hack-n-slash and too difficult/no fun. Old review: Just started playing it but I can already tell it's going to be good. No in-app purchases. Top-notch graphics. Interesting enough story. Great voice acting and music. ✓ Good graphics does not mean great gameNice graphics, smooth animations, great voice acting. Don't be fooled, this is a medicore-at-best action game. Boring combat, boring enemies. There are 3 operators talking to the player character, why do they all have to say his name before every sentence? The "tech talk" person, please be quite. So many random techy-sounding words and phrases. Enemies don't get harder, they just get more health. Tedious to get past groups of them. The bigger enemies (who are first introduced as mini-bosses but then become regular enemies - these people really don't seem to know much about any Xada creatures) are taught as "they go red, time to dodge" but one stage takes the colours away from you which you have been taught to rely on. Health packs are always green, but suddenly you fight a main boss at the end of chapter 3 who calls big green test tubes from the sky. "It's a health pack for me!" But you have been fooled again by poor colour choices. Really these ones are for the boss, and she calls them several times. This was at no point an enjoyable challenge. The "ballistics protocol" was a nice idea but none of the guns do any damage worth using. I'm so glad I got this on sale. I would have been a little upset if I'd got it for full price. ✓ Great game, crashes.I really was enjoying this game but have now found near the end of chapter 2 that the game just stops and goes to the home screen, on different levels once I've tried a few times, and it's become quite infuriating. :/ I have an IPhone 4s, which it should play on, and have even deleted many apps to make almost 2gb of space just in case but it still crashes on those levels unfortunately. Except for this which hopefully there will be a fix for, great game, the fighting is well made, decent storyline and upgrades which you can tell make a massive difference once you retry a mission and are trying for badges which obviously adds to the replay value also..Aco88Version: 1.0.4

✓ OptimizationI downloaded this game because I remembered it was so good back in the days when I don’t have an iPhone and just got an iPad. I have a XR now. And the game isn’t simply optimized for iPhone X series. The display was way too small, smaller than the screen before reaching the notch. Hopefully they update this soon. ✓ Am I missing something?This is a very average action game. The plot - what you can find of it - is so minimal that it makes no sense. The environment is linear and boring, and totally non-interactive. As the game progresses, the controls seem increasingly sloppy against ever-harder enemies, devolving into a button mash fest. It's pretty at first, but then it all looks the same right through to the end. ✓ Stupidly hard boss battlesIronic that the subtitle of this game is ‘never lose hope’, because losing hope is exactly what you will do playing this game. The boss battles are ridiculous. They’re just way, way too hard. And if that wasn’t bad enough, when you’ve used up all your ‘revives’ trying to beat a boss... you have to go back and START THE WHOLE LEVEL AGAIN!!! Add a baffling weapons menu system that even the pro games reviewers can’t understand and you’ve ruined a game which so easy could’ve been great. ✓ Nothing more than good graphicsIf you like games with an inexistent story line, an extremely convoluted system to manage your powers (I don't think it is physically possible to design anything more pointlessly complex) but with great graphics this is the game for you. They created a series of layers of credits, badges, several shades of different abilities coded with duplicated Greek letters (!) that frankly I could live without. The question "why?" springs to mind. The game grows exponentially in difficulty. The first levels are enjoyable but then it gets very difficult as if there was an equation, more difficult equal more engaging. The problem is that it just gets more difficult - period. Some of the bosses are just ridiculous. They should look menacing but they are borderline with comical. One of them is a young lady with an arm several times her size attached to her back. Among the other things, there is not way to control separately the volume of music, effects and talking (and there is a lot of it). The problem with this game is that it is just graphics. ✓ Cmon with an update already...Doodoo resolution, update your app, though it looks like there’s no hope as it shows there’s never been an update. Seriously, the money I’ve wasted on apps that claim to work and either don’t or aren’t updated for new devices and are terrible, is starting to add up. ✓ What's the fuss about?I have to say that this was a really disappointing waste of £10. The levels are extremely repetitive; you get in there & shoot monsters. There's nothing wrong with this per se, but for the money you'd expect something more. To illustrate, I spent a while earning the achievements to unlock the second suit, only to find that it was worse than the one I had.
