Today Habit tracker for Negative User Reviews

Decent, But BuggyI like the ability to add custom wallpapers to habits and the card customization. However, the app crashes sometimes when editing notes. If you check off a habit then switch to another one, the effect lingers. In the single habit view mode, there’s a delay before you can swipe to the next habit. I also encountered sync issues when using Dropbox. I want to give this app more stars, but the polish just isn’t there yet..Version: 1.9.2

Needs UX refinementThe swipe between the items is glitchy in that it doesn’t always register, and on an iPhone X, it shudders across the screen like its struggling. You can add items historically via the calendar, it doesn’t register the tap. You have to scroll through every item to find the one you want, as it never opens in the list mode no matter how many times you switch to it..Version: 1.9.4

ComplicatedComplicated to use, some pages are confusing, select yes or no answer doing the same. No idea what this app is used for..Version: 1.0.2

One habit.....I can't even review your "free" app because it's so limited. Maybe if you allowed 7 day trial of full features then ask for a ridiculous amount of money. Either that or just make this a paid app..Version: 1.0.2

Watch app needs workI downloaded this app so I could quickly keep track of my habits (like drinking water) on my watch. It has the option to set it as a complication on my home screen. However the icon on the home screen is very often inaccurate. When I try to check in, sometimes it doesn’t register and I have to do it a few times. It doesn’t automatically reset for a new day, so when I wake up in the morning it looks like my ring is full even though I haven’t done anything yet today. Definitely not paying for the upgrade until these problems are fixed..Version: 1.8

Nice design but needs updatingLooks good. But needs some work. Finally got got reminders working on my iPhone 11 after having to turn settings on and off and re-input on the app. Unfortunately not all the reminders are pulling through to my Apple Watch which is frustrating. Likewise watch complications don’t work with series 5 watch faces. Not worth the £4.99 I paid for it. Please sort it out..Version: 1.9.5

Only one habit for free?I get that you need to monetize but limiting to one habit basically means I won't bother trailing the app to see if it's worth paying $7. Coach.me is free and works well enough. I like the design ideas on today but it needs to hook me and limiting to one habit just makes it a nice looking demo. I would strongly recommend increasing to 3 cards so you can get a better idea of how the app works. If it was .99-$1.99 then I might experiment but $7 in the app world is premium..Version: 1.0.1

One habit?Wouldve liked more than one habit for the free version. An extra habit couldve swayed me into paying $7 for the full version. What is built into the app seems really good though, hence the 3 stars..Version: 1.0.2

Cool, but Ipad?I bought full version because i liked the app, now i just bought and Ipad and discovered that it’s not supported... 😬 please do..Version: 1.9.54

Backup/restore not working, Apple Watch not syncingIt works well if you just use the iPhone but does not work well with the Apple Watch series 4, the habits are not syncing across. I’ve lost my data so many times now to the iCloud backup that I’ve given up!.Version: 1.9.4

Lovely conceptThis app is designed beautifully. I love the concept and could see myself using this daily, HOWEVER, I am not prepared to pay $8 to unlock the ~premium~ version. All the free app allows you to do is use one habit and nothing further. Seriously guys??? $8 for an app no one has heard of or tested yet. Not the way to go if you want initial customers.Version: 1.0.1

Fatally flawedIf you can't go back a month to view previous progress, and you can't edit previous days (for example, when I want to track a successful day but it's just past midnight) then what is the point of even using this app? Two stars for the nice design..Version: 1.9.4

Nice design. Too pricey for such a simple appNot a bad app, and I can see how it could be useful. It's basically just a fancy way of making a list of your own activities, and putting a tick next to each one whenever you do that activity. I guess it probably tries to nag you when you miss an activity, although I didn't get that far with this app. I've already deleted it. Why? Well it looks fairly nice, and thought has gone into the design. However £3.99 seems over the odds for such a simple app, with functionality that for me is maybe more a curiosity than a must-have..Version: 1.0.2

No option to select every 2/3 daysYour app looks great and I would like to use it but I need an every two day option (for tracking medication) and an every three day option for updating my budget. Please can you look into adding this..Version: 1.9.4

IOS 10 compatibility please!I love using this app, as I use it everyday and would love it if the app would be compatible with iOS 10 again! Also with a iPad version as well!.Version: 1.5

Keeps crashing... every time I try to tick off a habit as having been completed the app crashes. Looks pretty but can't do its core functionality.Version: 1.0.1

Beautiful app but struggling to understand “streaks and checkins.”I want to love this app but I do not think tracking is consistent. Each card tracks slightly differently despite similar goals and my “ streaks “ are wrong-I have hit my goals six days in a row and it still claims only a two day streak. I also don’t understand the difference between a check in which is a light green circle and then a dot within the light green circle. I wrote the developer but got no answer back. Might go back to Productive which is not nearly as pretty but works better!.Version: 1.9.4

Minimal app with great potentialsGreat app but it needs more cards and is it only me or Is it quite hard to understand how to use and make the most the custom chart and custom counter ?.Version: 1.4

Has potentialBut notifications doesn't work, making it useless as you can't get reminders..Version: 1.2.4

Used to be brilliant, now it’s painfulPainfully slow to register a day, when I tap on a day it takes about 5 seconds to register, if I’m registering a long streak of 50 day’s or so, which is how I’ve been using it for 3 years, it takes so long I’ve stopped bothering. Used to take no time at all. It’s been really detrimental to my progress. Sort it out. Seriously. Why has it got so slow when it was fine before?? It’s barely useable..Version: 1.9.4

Nice idea if it would workEasy to set up and pretty to look at. I wanted to try it out for a couple of days before committing to buying, and I’m glad I did. I was very diligent about tracking my activities through my watch, but I noticed each time I went in to check something off, my tracker was off. It would save some of the activities and not save others. By the end of the day, I had clicked on the same activity, marking it as completed at least 4 or 5 times, when I should have only had to check it off once. It’s ok if I only have to do something once a day, but it made it very difficult to keep track of my water intake (the primary reason I wanted a tracker app). Will be deleting and saving my money for another app..Version: 1.7.2

Not worth the costThis "free" app is anything but that. I set up my first "habit", which was a clumsy and inconsistent experience, and went to set up a second before being blocked by a £4 barricade. No thanks. Give me a few more cards to try out and maybe I'll keep using the app, then I'll see if it's worth that much money. The only thing that saves this from 1 star is the design: the app is slick and runs well..Version: 1.0.1

Great user interface and easy to useThe app interface is wonderful. But the app is missing some essential features. 1. Viewing number of days on a monthly calendar. I don’t need fancy graph. Just want to see my days on the calendar. (This is available now. Thanks so much.) 2. Setting a habit to include every day of the week or month. I want daily checkins. Weekly only allows 6. Why not 7? Monthly only allows 25 not 30. These restricts are prohibitive. I don’t get it. (They added a daily option will allows all the days. That works but it does not reset like the weekly option. So I have to use daily in order to have seven checking per week. 3. I love the added cards. I chose to use the milestone card for a project. When I checked the first milestone as completed it was removed from the list. The correct action is to show a check mark. I went through the trouble to create the list so that I could see my progress. Please allow check marks instead of deleting. 4. Streaks. I’d like to know see my streaks. Not just how many days badge. If I performed an activity 21 times but not in a row then this is not a 21 day streak. A streak is number of consecutive days. This app has potential. But has many small issues. I purchased the pro version and I’m hoping the developers will continue to work out the problems. So far great job. This app is going to be awesome if they continue on the path their on. Thank you for this app and your continued support..Version: 1.9.1

The UI and UX is not goodThis could be a really good app to track things but the UI and UX is not good. One example is when you check in for a habit it isn't clear that you have actually checked it off unless you swipe up the map as it continues to say "due today". You also want to see all your things your tracking in one place without having to swipe left and right. Edit: I still don't think the UX and UI is good even if you update the "due today tag". It's not intuitive for the user and I will keep it at 3 stars..Version: 1.4

IPad support?!I bought it but the fact that I can’t download it on my iPad which I use for school/ work hub Is really frustrating. Please add support❤️ other then that this app is brilliant. Simple and easy to use..Version: 1.9.54

Broken since iOS 12 / watchOS 5I do really like this app, it’s a bit pricey but has helped me form some great habits. It’s easy to track what’s going on, looks nice and the watch app was an essential part of that. But it can’t run for more than a few seconds without crashing since the latest OS came out and is essentially useless at this stage. App hasn’t had an update in nearly 2 months, what’s going on guys?.Version: 1.9.2

In app purchaseCan’t really do much without have to pay for the full app..Version: 1.9.4

Great, until the WatchOS 5 updateI have been using Today for several months on the Apple Watch (series 3) and it had become absolutely essential to my daily routine - habit tracking is important to me and I loved the capabilities of this app and the watch integration. Unfortunately, since the update to WatchOS 5, the app now crashes constantly and has trouble syncing with my phone. It’s been completely unreliable and nearly impossible to use since the update, but I keep it installed because of how much I loved it before. I’m going to give it a little more time hoping for a fix, but if the glitches stay much longer I’m going to find a replacement. I hope I don’t gave to go back to my tried & true habit-tracking-on-paper method..Version: 1.9.2

UnfortunateThis was and is still a great app but utilizing the photo gallery is no longer an option. Every time I take a photo or upload one, the pictures somehow are gone. And it annoying having to re-upload the same photos every day. This was the case even when I upgraded my phone. Please fix. Also, maybe consider making users create an account or have the option of the app being uploadable to iCloud? When I switched over to my new phone and downloaded the app again I lost everything and there was 6 months worth of data in there. Other than those two things, I still really enjoy the app!!.Version: 1.9.4

Its getting blocked! The app worked ok for weeks and now keeps crushing and I can’t use it anymore..Version: 1.9.5

ScammedI have 2 habits to track so had to purchase the full version for $8 then the next morning there was an update to allow 3 habits on the free version. The pro upgrade is useless now please refund..Version: 1.0.3

Great! But...I love this app! It’s one of the most help apps I’ve ever used! The only problem is that I need to pay to get more that 3 habits. I love this app, but I don’t think that the app should have limitation for habits, rather it should have it for other features that don’t make a difference, like the background or anything like that. I would give it a 5 start rating, but that’s the only reason I give it a 3 star rating..Version: 1.9.5

Only one "habit" in free versionSkip.Version: 1.0.1

Watch app not working properlyI love tracking my habits, it’s very helpful for me to see how much I’ve accomplished and having that moment to acknowledge for myself that I completed a task is highly rewarding. The iphone app is great with a lovely interface; choosing your own inspiring photo as backgrounds is great! However, I already had that app and didn’t need another. I bought this app for the watch incorporation; to be able to check in on the go and track easily from my wrist. But when I check into my watch it will still have the previous days check-in on there, and when it finally syncs up and I am able to check in from the watch, that information is not transferred to my phone. I think it’s working, and when I check my phone, sometimes the same day, sometimes 2 days later it’s unchecked and I have to fill it in from my phone. I would like to not have to open my phone to make sure I have the check-in. It defeats the purpose of why I got it. Please fix this problem, and it will be 5 stars in my books!.Version: 1.6.5

Not for me.$7 for a glorified to-do list? And this version only lets you try 1 habit? I was honestly shocked. *1* HABIT?! This app will fail, and quickly too..Version: 1.0.2

Nice and easy to use but...There isn’t any way to delete check-ins if you accidentally enter the wrong information, and the app doesn’t allow backdated entries. This is a problem for me because I’m just starting to get into the habit of tracking my habits, so sometimes I forget to enter my check-ins until the next day and sometimes I accidentally tap the wrong date. The free version also only allows you to enter 3 habits to track. I’m not willing to pay for an app as simple as this, so I can’t really say I’m all that impressed. The interface is clean and easy to use. The backgrounds are a nice touch. But the functionality still needs work, and the app is going to have to wow me a whole lot more before I’m willing to pay for it..Version: 1.9.4

Not good on Apple Watch 3I’ve had to delete this as it just doesn’t work properly in the Apple Watch. I tap an icon to say I’ve done it, then20 minutes late it’s unchecked again!!.Version: 1.6.5

Gorgeous but ...There is a lot to love about this app but it is missing a few key functions that make habit tracking more successful. In addition to “check ins” (positive score) there ought to be a way to record “missed check -ins” (negative score) and just also a way to log days where you missed your habit but it was intentional (neutral/no penalty score). The metrics of only seeing your number of check ins is a useless metric without also seeing those days you dropped the ball. It’s also be great to see two habits side by side so you can see if your “early to bed” habit has a correlation to “deep work” the following day—another reason why showing “missed” days would be useful. I like how you can schedule a habit that has a once/week (or whatever) frequency but I’d love to see a countdown on that habit so you know, “3 more days left in week to accomplish habit” The ability to add in widgets is amazing! Design is beautiful ... Just wish some of the basic habit-tracking functionality was more useful..Version: 1.8

This app has been critical. But the last update is flawedI’ve been an avid user of this app. But the last update they made makes it harder to visualize what things you actually accomplished on what days. If you have an item that has the option for multiple check inns during the week and you click it complete, there’s no visual indicator telling you that you have completed that happen for the day. Therefore, I have ended up clicking the same happened multiple times during the day before cause I forgot if I checked off that particular habit earlier..Version: 1.9.3

Back up does not workI have the paid version,, unfortunately data backup does work... I can’t backup single byte after reset of my iPhone .. so not reliable even everything is fine with in the application..Version: 1.9.54

Found it awkward to use.Title says it all..Version: 1.9.53

Why not just make the app 6.99$?Its a beautiful app that I would probably rate 4-5 stars if the maker let you add at least 3-5 habits with the free version. Free version only allows 1! Why even make the app free?!.Version: 1.0.2

This app is able to track one full habitYou should track how many people are habitually deleting this app. Very Nice job on everything else though..Version: 1.0.2

Your own way of tracking your habitsI really like this app. You get to create your own detailed views of what you want to track, but you also get an easy overview of all habits. Lots of flexibility and customisation. It doesn’t get five stars for a couple of reasons: - I expected way more options for photos, especially since it’s such a visual design and other apps let you chose from huge libraries. The selection here is extremely disappointing, even with the premium version. This would be a five star if not for this - it wastes the potential of an otherwise gorgeous design. - no home screen widget - I wish there was a card that just let you add some text, e.g. a quote, a reminder of why you’re doing this, info you need to do it (like what to do in your bedtime yoga routine).Version: 1.9.62

App in the WatchOS doesn’t work !As said in the title.Version: 1.9.4

Daily habits?I find that tracking tasks or behaviors helps me to keep balance. I definitely love the look of your app and the integration with Apple Health. There are two features that I would like to see. I would like to be able to have a card that is a simple check box. I don’t want to have to create a separate group to have something to check off. Also, here are some suggestions for the counter, it should reset for the interval selected. It would be good to have goals for counters and then be able to see the data in a chart. I paid for the premium and I like the app so far..Version: 1.9.2

App is crashing at opening all the timeWhat worst i paid for that app, it was working before last update. Did not respond to emailS. The only respond I had was to put at off features but it still crashing.Version: 1.5

App is flawedApp crashes every time I open it, and would like a design where I can open the app and it goes straight a page where all my habits are listed. Would also like the ability to not use a picture for every habit but rather just a simply background to make he app faster.Version: 1.7.2

Wallpaper is not optionalThe features are great, and the widget is really the only reason why I use this, but its a huge hassle when I need to edit the day before. I wish these wallpaper things were optional - I just use an all black image. Ideally, I’d like to directly see all the cards related to my habit instead of having to swipe up to the habit image, then swipe over to the next habit, then swipe down just to see the next habit’s cards. It’s way too many unnecessary swipes to navigate through. It should just let me turn off the wallpaper, then I can swipe left or right between my habits and get to my little habit cards quicker..Version: 1.9.3

Still crashing with updateWon't restore my iCloud data and keeps crashing, doesn't open. Please try and fix this as I like and use this app regularly..Version: 1.2.2

Good idea and aesthetics, flops in the long termThe basic version of this app only allows you to track three habits, which work as advertised until about a year or so in; if you have a habit you track on a daily basis the app will crash as soon as you try to add a day to it, and you have to close out the app and reopen to add each individual day. Say for instance you haven’t been keeping up with a habit on the app and you decide to update a week’s worth of progress at once. You’d have to open, add a single day, then close the app 7 times in order to make those changes. I’ve stopped tracking one of my habits because it isn’t worth the effort to do so. If they fix this error it’d be fine but until then it’s a nuisance to use in the long term.Version: 1.9.54

Great design but a bit buggyGorgeous design and fun customizability. I’ve been using it on and off for over a year now, but have found some key features (like the counting cards) just don’t work, which throws off some kinds of habit counting completely. Crashes have been ironed out and are rare now, but overall response time to bugs is slow and followup nonexistent. For an app that’s been around this long, and should be polished at least on its core functionality, it seems rough around the edges. As long as you mostly use the checkin function and don’t depend on it for more detailed records/counts (eg, using the features to count number of goals scored in a year, number of books read, etc) you will likely have few complaints..Version: 1.9.4

Lost backupI seem to have lost all my data. I thought it was being backed up on my iCloud apparently not. I had to delete the app because it was freezing and could no longer access my profile, after reinstalling however I don’t have any data to restore. All my habits and tracking...lost.Version: 1.9.54

MehSave yourself $8 and put a daily alarm on your phone/calendar..Version: 1.0.1

Nifty App!As long as you keep your phone with you, you will never forget an important task again. With the app you can set daily or weekly reminders that will notify you to do any chore at anytime of the day, and if you need to complete a task several times a day you can set it up to remind you multiple times a day. The app has beautiful backgrounds and a lovely font. Among other things, I use the app to make sure I drink enough water and stretch at particular times during the day, and water my plants when they need to be watered, since my memory isn’t what it used to be. The app is easy to use! And there is an easy to understand video tutorial that comes with it. Apparently, there are other things the app can do, but I haven’t gotten around to exploring them yet. Use the basic version for free or pay a small fee once for the upgrade. The app will back up your data in case you need to reinstall it, but this feature is probably only available with the upgrade. It was recommended by a teacher, and I am glad I tried it. Now it’s an essential part of my life. Edit: Although I enjoy the app, I learned that it breaks often and needs to be reinstalled frequently to get the reminders working again. I still use it to log events, but became tired of reinstalling it and resetting up the reminders, so they haven’t worked for at least a year..Version: 1.9.62

Too expensiveGreat app but costs too much to unlock the full version. Under $5 is more acceptable.Version: 1.0.2

Not overly impressedApparently you have to pay to do more than one card. Th cards themselves don't seem to support things you might do twice a day, like walk the dog, immediately rendering it a bit pointless - if you can only track that an activity occurred on a day and not how many times it occurred on that day then what's the point? Any attempt to add a second occurrence on that day just cancels the previous one. I just don't get this app, I'm not sure where it fits in..Version: 1.0.2

Needs a pomodoro timer functionIntegrating a timer that can be directly accessed from the widget with a pomodoro-type timer function would be great! i.e. press widget button to start 25min timer which is then added after 25mins is up.Version: 1.8

Slower than beforeI recently started using this app and everything takes a lot longer to respond, which results in me clicking things twice. I have checked and it’s up to date but still much slower..Version: 1.9.4

Seems good .. ButSeems like a really good habit tracking app, I was excited to try it out but how is allowing a person to test out Only 1 habit for free a good test? You would probably get my $7 if you gave me at least 3 habits to start..Version: 1.0.2

The best GTD I’ve tried but still didn’t work for meI have tried a lot of GTD apps and found this one to be more straightforward than all the others. However, I still could not figure out how to use it. I thought I got it but it never sent me notifications and seemed to pick arbitrary times for when things were due. It said a weekly thing was due on Saturday despite me setting up the task the day before. Maybe I am missing something? Anyway, great looking app but still difficult to figure out. Or maybe my brain just has trouble understanding all of the facets of task management..Version: 1.9.1

No ipad? Os x? :-(It's very good it looses many many points been quite a few years now and still no ipad or mac support! Sane excuses for years. Really poor form :-(.Version: 1.5

Nice interface but there are fundamental issuesThe current version of this app has a nice interface but has fundamental issues. I’m wondering if developers have ever used their own app as users, as these issues jump at you during the first seconds of using it: 1) every time I open the app it starts not with the main list of habits (which everyone needs to go through them through the day), instead it starts with a habit’s page which I have previously marked as done (and I don’t need to return to it), so every time I have to make an extra click to return to the “home” page where all habits are listed. 2) The main “home” list of habits is very confusing: if I have set a frequency of habit once a day, and if I have completed one habit during the previous 3 days but NOT YET TODAY, this habit on the Main List would still read as “3 check-ins TODAY, 3 total”, and it has number 3 next to it, which is a glaring mistake as I haven’t yet completed it today yet. Please fix these issues, and then I’d love to buy your app..Version: 1.9.4

Not working on Apple Watch infograph faceReally disappointed as I really wanted to use this app.Version: 1.9.4
