✓ Everything is good except....Hi, I was planning to buy the premium version, honestly speaking I almost bought it but I was facing issues like when playing a music video if I minimise the player then for a split second it paused and then it resume playing and again when I return to the app it does the same thing. Sometimes videos been paused or showing loading though the files are saved locally. These issues are very much irritating. Waiting to hear from you..Version: 3.12.3

✓ Good but bugged on audio boostThe audio boost function has no effect on audio in general settings. If I try to boost audio during playback, it says “please disable quicktine mode” and I clicked disable, but it didn’t disable. And there is no setting to turn off quicktime mode.Version: 3.8.1

✓ Seems to do it all!Been an avid VLC fan since its release but the nature of the beast is it's going to be behind the funded software that's out there. Seen lots of other software with the word 'player'. I wanted something that would play any video, let me increase the speed, and resume playback. Similarly I wanted something to play audio like radio shows I would capture from other places and want to simply dump in to an app for playback. As they contain adverts would like an easy way to skip and easy on/off. This has it all. The slide forward/back to skip increases time as you slide so you can see how far you are advancing. It also suports picture in picture on the newer iPads and getting audio on and off is easy with server support, itunes library support and wifi. Liked it so much within a few days bought the paid version. A boon it supports smb/onedrive/dropbox too, either play from those sources or download to local storage. Basically does it all and makes getting media on to it for playback much easier than before. One nice touch is when you increase playback speed it tells you how long you have played both realtime and at 1x speed..Version: 3.5.3
✓ Truly the Best!Hands down to the best free media player. Other free apps will make your life miserable if need to input subtitles. Adds are annoying as hail as they pop up anywhere. ✓ SubtitlesReally like the app but I have a suggestion. I think it would be a good idea to have subtitles from text file on by default and also not set to appear at the bottom of the screen. iPad screen is 4:3 and most content in 16:9 and having subtitles all the way on the bottom of the screen is not right. It can be changed only in main setting to appear on the footage but still it’s too low. It’s uncomfortable. If you ve ever seen a movie at cinema with subs that’s where they should be. That is single line of text should not touch all the way of the bottom of footage. Other than that the app is great and never had subtitles not load like using competition’s app..Version: 3.8.6
