A graduate pet project - woeful!I have a Series 7 TV, k650 Soundbar and 2xR3’s hoping to enable 5.1 surround sound. Whilst I can get all 3 speakers to work in stereo mode the volume settings are terrible. I literally have the Soundbar on the lowest level and the r3s on 1/3. There is no linear way to increase volume and there is no way I would go past 1/4 on the Soundbar. It is too loud. Now for 5.1: simply put buy something else as whilst it does work at volume level 50 my entire street doesn’t want to hear it and I don’t want industrial deafness. 5.1 simply doesn’t work and cannot be tuned for regular listening. Buy a sonos or buy my Samsung speakers so I can. Samsung please put some effort into these setups as I shall not being buying your products next time. Oh and no Google Play compatibility to boot. What a sham..Version: 4131

Needs a lot of workI like the apps concept but it constantly crashes, runs slow, and speakers disconnect. Also I use it for Sirius and it doesn't display which song is currently playing on the stations to decide which station to put on or switch to. I can't connect my iHeartRadio because my account is linked to Facebook and it won't log in that way..Version: 4111

Crashing constantly!! I can’t use my speakers. Now what??I cannot use my speakers and group. What the hell do I do now??.Version: 4132

Could be a lot better!App works well, love that I can have music pumping around the house in each room... BUT... Since the update how do you set up multiple groups? Can you play music from a TV that has compatible TV connect through multiple speakers considering that it gives you the option to choose a left and right speaker? Cheers.Version: 4131

Could be better - but seems to be getting worseI don't know if it's the app or the R speakers, but they keep losing themselves from each other. I can't count the amount of times I've had to reset the speakers to be recognised by the app. And now it's happening every single time I use the 3 speaker setup between 2 rooms, with the network extender set up between them - no more than 2.2-3 metres away from any speaker. It's not a wifi dropping issue, as I'm sitting in one of the rooms with my phone. Really frustrating. And it's getting much much worse and more frequent. The app really needs to get some extra buffering also. Downgraded to one star now. Very disappointed in the whole setup. Wish I'd gone for Sonos now. So just updated today to the latest version and now it just keeps ‘phasing’ from one speaker to another. Even more disappointed now..Version: 4127

Add new speaker - BROKEN COMPLETELY on iOSAs seems typical of Samsung, anything of important detail or critical importance to their users, just doesn’t work at all on iOS. Say one of your wireless R3 speakers isn’t showing up correctly in this app. You need to reset the speaker and add it as a new speaker to get it to be part of the surround’s left or right rear set behind your Samsung sound bar. Well if your Mobile device happens to be the bastard child one from ... sush .. Apple, you my friend have chosen unwisely. Try and try and try as instructed to join the SAMSUNG wifi on the WiFi setup, then return to this app, and ... ... nothing. The app simply is braindead. Kind of like the decision makers at SAMSUNG, who believe that a great product is only worth launching, not worth maintaining and supporting, especially on that very odd Apple operating system. To ANY iOS user considering getting anything of SAMSUNG accessory that may need to be run or configured by your phone - just don’t do it. SAMSUNG really seriously doesn’t care at all IF it works, and obviously never tests and maintains any of their products after the splash of initial release. Trust me. I know..Version: 4132

App no longer works properlyI changed my home Wifi SSID which meant I needed to re-connect my Samsung M5 and M7 speakers to the new wifi network however upon reaching the part where you connect to the speaker’s own wifi network and returning to the app, the continue button is not selectable so I can’t proceed with connecting them. Can Samsung please resume support for this app.Version: 4132

DreadfulCome on Samsung - this is awful. I have to set the system up every time I use it. The sour quality is wonderful but your app and the way to control the speakers is woeful. Wish I S bought sonos with hindsight! Why won’t you fix it?.Version: 4131

This is patheticSamsung you have too many irons in the fire. Too many products that you do a crap job of them all instead of a really good job at just a few products. Honestly, has anyone on the product team actually tried to use this app on a real iPhone? There is no way that the quality of this service would be acceptable to even the most junior manager, lead alone the product team leads. Where are the Samsung executives overseeing this? You might as stop making home speakers and take this app off of the App Store. I just hope that I can get my money back so that I can buy Sonos instead like I should have but your sale sucked me in. Pathetic..Version: 4042

Terrible, never had problems like thisSoundbar won’t connect to WiFi in the standard way, second option works 10% of the time but when it’s turned off the next time you turn it on you need to go through the 10 minute process again and even then 9/10 it doesn’t work A Labrador could set up most technology these days but Samsung are failing here, very buggy and faulty app.Version: 4132

App has Massive Glitch and Failure in iOS 15 Revering it Non-FunctionalUsed this years ago with my 6 wifi connected speakers but when I recently opened to use it again, the app has failed and been unreliable. The app closes itself out and t he coding needs to be reviewed to see what’s causing this. Additionally, please release update with a scaled background within the app that’s for larger devices screens (like as the max and pro versions of the iPhone). Will change and adjudged my review from 1 start to 5 or 4 stars once these glitches have been resolved and the app works again. Will check the App Store for updates/releases. Thanks in advance..Version: 4145

Poor app developerTook me an hour last year to connect my phone to the speaker and then to the wifi, now I have a new phone and the speaker won’t connect at all to it or the wifi. Fix this issue. It finds my speaker but will never connect with your default password!!!!.Version: 4145

Latest version worse not betterI almost never write reviews but if anyone on the MultiRoom team is listening, whatever you did with the latest app version, it is more buggy than ever on an iPhone 7 Plus (with latest iOS). Extremely frustrating!! App repeatedly freezes or times out so I have to keep closing it, re-opening and waiting for it to load before I can again control sound or stations. That happened occasionally with the previous version of the app but now it is constant and multiple times a day. Maybe there’s an incompatibility with the latest iOS but it’s really unforgivable performance. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!.Version: 4145

Volume! All in all, it’s a great app and connectivity usually works well. But... please! Please! Please! Fix the volume system! I would go to turn the volume down and it would automatically jump to 75% volume and nearly blast the speakers in my house. It is impossible to use the volume system effectively so I just manually change the volume on the physical speakers. But wait... there’s more... please fix the group function. Once you group two speakers, you can’t use them individually or in another group. Please allow the individual speakers to be grouped to multiple groups at the same time..Version: 4132

Needs ImprovementsI’ll get right to the points. App is not easy to navigate. iOS users be prepared for headaches, such as not being able to play all music from Apple Music App via WiFi, only purchased or downloaded songs will play unless you switch input source to Bluetooth. When speakers are grouped, both speakers will play music at the same time (stereo setup). Overall the app needs a lot of improvements. Speaker sound quality is ok, it doesn’t compare to Bose..Version: 4131

UselessVery rarely works with my sound bar, very poor app.Version: 4131

Samsung failed us 🤷🏼‍♂️Long story short, this app has never worked properly even since the release of the first R1 and so on speakers. Numerous amounts of phone calls to tech support over the years... they didn’t even know what app I was talking about...🙄 Then toward the end (a few months ago) started saying they could put in a ticket to the developers but after five of those, no luck... I’ve never had a good connection using the Multiroom App over WiFi. It would play a few songs, then freak out. Sometimes, it would log me out of connected accounts and then take forever to fix. Also, it’s not functional with Apple Music unless the music through iTunes is purchased. Meaning, no subscription for Apple Music can be played... most likely because of some stupid contract... It’s literally a hassle with Samsung. I have a really nice tv that was over $3,000 when purchased. Worked great for a year, then they stopped updating the smart apps so it’s basically useless without a fire stick or cable... After having my R1 speakers and this app for over five years, I upgraded to Sonos. Haven’t had an issue once!.Version: 4145

Does not support Apple Music, AirPlay, or iOS14Does not support iOS14 You’re sweet out of luck if you want to use Apple Music or AirPlay. Will eventually swap these things out for a setup that has better interoperability..Version: 4145

Latest iOS update causes app to fail on all devicesThe latest iOS update (Oct 2019) causes the app to fail on all apple devices rendering the speakers unusable as no device can connect to them. Samsung, update the apps asap please!.Version: 4132

App doesn’t work on ios13App not working anymore on iOS 13 therefore speakers can’t be used at all. Time to ditch Samsung and move to competition..Version: 4132

This App Needs UPDATINGThis app is in need of an Update.!! I’ve used this app for four years and with each iOS release it becomes less user friendly! It’s as if SAMSUNG have forgotten about it completely. Which makes it devalue my Samsung R6 360 Surround Speaker’s. That were plus £300 new. There is nothing wrong with the Speakers they still look and sound fantastic. But the MultiRoom app is very temperamental..!! Within the app you can not create a playlist! 😤 You have to do in iTunes.! If you select random shuffle, the app software jumps from one playlists to another playlist.! 😤 You go from playing Pop to Classical..!! Make it useless for parties, unless you load only one genre of music.! 😤 on your device. This is basic software bugs simply because the developer has not bothered to keep the application up to date for the iOS version.!! I would have thought a company like Samsung was better than this..!! Very disappointed customer.Version: 4132

No longer works with Deezer!!!I’ve been having this issue for the last 10 days logging in via Deezer. I just simply can’t login In to my Deezer account via the Samsung MultiRoom app on iOS i’ve tried everything. Changing passwords, uninstalling apps and reinstalling them. I will give Deezer until 18:00GMT on the 12th of May 2020 to rectify this and by reading the history of the comments on here (a problem they have been fully aware of for some time) It’s a disgrace that this issue hasn’t been resolved and Samsung and Deezer should have been working tirelessly to get this known issue resolved. Please get it sorted as I will cancel my subscription at the end of the day today..Version: 4145

Terrible and buggyContinually disconnects. I have to then open my iPhone, force close the app, reconnect and get the music going again. The UI is horrible and does not follow basic human user interface guidelines. So confusing and can't get it to play what I want. Just an overall terrible app. If you want to study how NOT to design an app, this is it..Version: 4094

This thing gives me anger issuesI want to throw the speakers out the window. It’s fine* if you just want to lite. To one speaker, but, if you’ve bought several speakers for MultiRoom purposes, ie like they’re sold to do. Then prepare yourself for the worst days of your life. Half the time they don’t link up. When they do play stops erratically. The volume control may as well be set to random. DONT BUY THIS JUNK.Version: 4131

Needs a lot of work - and WHY does it need location? The app was dead for close to a year. The latest release in April 2020 finally fixed it. But WHY does this app refuse to operate without location data supplied!?! I should be on the same WIFI as it asks, but the location is merely tracking..Version: 4145

Not working since updateApp won’t recognize wifi since the latest update.Version: 4145

XM does not work.Cannot use the SiriusXM. Used it fine in the beginning, but hasn’t worked for months as it will not allow one to sign in. I bought 6 of the speakers with the intention of playing XM wirelessly throughout my house. Also drops the signal constantly. Very disappointed..Version: 4131

Terrible AppLike most Samsung apps (See Samsung Smart View reviews), this app only works occasionally and doesn’t get fixed when it breaks. Used to connect several speakers, I found myself having to set them up again pretty much every times I start the app as they disappear for no apparent reason. Since ios13, the app simply won’t start, displaying an error stating that the phone is not connected to any wifi network. If I erase the app and download it again, it might let me search the speakers. In the couple of times it managed yo find the speakers, it never managed to pair them as the setup fails when it tries to send them the wireless connection details. I wish I didn’t go cheap and bought Sonos instead, at least it would work..Version: 4132

Hardware good. Software a nightmareI have two Samsung R3 speakers. They sound great. However, they are completely ruined by appalling software. The software very frequently loses connection with the television and with the app. Once every two weeks or so I need to completely re-install it to have the speakers work. Just about everything to do with this software is poor quality. The interface is confusing, the way it works is inconsistent, and the advice that is available online is unhelpful..Version: 4131

Samsung Multi Room CrapThis app is the most infuriating app I’ve ever worked with. Very difficult to connect if and when it works. Impossible to stay connected. At least once a week I have to delete the app completely and start the exhausting process of connecting which takes anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Today I’ve wasted 45 minutes and I still can’t get a connection. What is the point save yourself the trouble and purchase Sanos..Version: 4145

Disappointed won’t play Apple MusicI have had this speaker several years and have enjoyed it until I got Apple Music. The app is not even compatible with downloads added to my music library on my phone. So if I want to play Apple Music I have to get a new speaker compatible with Apple Music. I can play music and podcasts that I purchased and downloaded but not the Music that you stream from the application with your paid subscription. 😕☹️.Version: 4132

Big bugDepuis la mise à jour IOS 13 incapable d’aller sur TuneIn. Très insatisfaite. 😠.Version: 4132

So unreliableSlow to load, slow to change stations, slow to group speakers. Often there’s no sound from speakers that are grouped so you have to exit and start again. Often drops out. Must admit that it works slightly better from an Apple iPad or iPhone than a Samsung tablet! Wish I’d stayed with Bose, that was such a good system..Version: 4131

Please read itThis is a jock. Do not buy Samsung speakers because Samsung are not responsible for the MultiRoom app. MultiRoom doesn’t work, you would need to spend hours of your time to connect everything together and it wouldn’t stay connected for more than a few minutes. Waste of time and money. I would never buy Samsung again..Version: 4132

Junk speakers junk appApp is terrible for streaming services - doesn’t work at all with Apple Music unless you’ve bought all the tracks. The app constantly crashes and loads horrible. Plus the speaker connection last about an hour and then won’t load anything at all. Speakers are junk unless you connect though Wi-Fi, Bluetooth sound is so terrible you might as well not use them. I’d give these products 0 stars if I could….Version: 4145

My 1982 Kef speaker still work?Samsung R lite is useless without this software, there are no jack ports, just moronic a company like Samsung think they can drop support for old kit. I had some faith in the brand, but it’s the usual, we can’t be bothered, we’ve had your money now go away. It’s not even a good paper weight, just OpenSource it and let home brew take it over, but no lock it down and just let it goto land fill, you absolute set of bad people. I’ll have to write to Greta and vent my frustration..Version: 4145

Speakers are great, app is mediocre.Mediocre is generous because the app barely does anything it’s supposed to. I’ve been trying to play Prime music for two days without success. It glitches consistently. The vibe is like the person assigned to making the app quit halfway through and left us with links that take you to “test pages” or nothing at all. It’s a shame because the speakers are dope..Version: 4132

A complete failureSamsung, Why? Why would you think this is ok? You expect us to spend thousands on a MultiRoom speaker system and yes your speakers are incredible so why? Why would you make the app that goes with these speakers so unbelievably bad. Speakers randomly disconnect, configurations which should work crash. Speakers do not pair with each other properly. It worked on the old version, so why doesn't it work now? Why would you not make a better app. It’s not even optimised for the new iPhones. In addition to this there is no way I can use the stereo speakers to output sound from my PC. Be better, it’s embarrassing. As the high sparrow would say, Shame..Version: 4132

Can’t Log into SiriusI’ve been dealing with this problem in and off for several months now. I have a Sirius subscription that I want to use with my Samsung Wi-Fi speakers but am frequently unable to log in to the service through the MultiRoom app. That makes both the speakers and the subscription worthless to me when it happens. The speakers work great except when the app fails. I know my Sirius account and password are correct. Wish I could get my money back for these speakers. I will avoid Samsung from now on since they don’t support their products..Version: 4131

Bad enough to make it me give up the speakersIf I’d used the app, I wouldn’t have bought any of the speakers! The speakers are great but let down by this shamefully bad, unacceptably rubbish app. Crashes, unstable, poor layout. Not user friendly or flexible. I struggle to say a single thing good about the app. Feels like it was built by utter amateurs. If I could give this app zero stars I would. Samsung have to put this right. I’d say avoid the speakers because the app makes them utterly useless..Version: 4132

IOS 13/ wifi issues connectingThis app isn’t IOS13 compatible when trying to connect a sound bar to the app. 1 week of trying every possible configuration and a wasted hour to the Samsung “ help line”, I figured it out for myself. With ios13, the app loops you on a witch hunt, trying to connect you and asking you for a generic “wifi” password. It doesn’t actually find YOUR network, so you end up going around and around in circles, as it also won’t connect when you attempt the DIRECT connection as suggested in this app. FIX IT!!!! For a cutting edge company, the app is basic..Version: 4132

Hasn’t lived up to expectationThe MultiRoom System is full of bugs. I have the MS750 soundbar and 2 x R5 speakers. The plan was to fill my home with music from the 3 speakers during the day and then use the sound bar on my Samsung tv in the evening. Despite days of work, new wireless routers, wireless network extenders, antennae, and hours of research, I have never got all three speakers to play together for more then a few minutes. Expect speakers to drop out and disappear, volume to suddenly go to maximum and other weird stuff. The one thing that worked was the wifi connection between the tv and soundbar- that broke with the latest firmware update. I now have to use BT. I wish I had never invested in this system. Such a shame because the sound quality of the speakers themselves is excellent..Version: 4131

This is a piece of garbageI normally don’t write reviews but I want to get this off my chest. I own a 2018 Samsung smart tv and a MS 650 sound bar with the subwoofer and rear surround kit added. The touted capabilities of me being able to control the soundbar with Alexa are almost nonexistent. I can turn off the tv (not on) and turn on and off the sound bar. All other controls that are in the manual don’t work and my Echo says “device does not support that” whenever I attempt to use commands listed in the user manual. This MultiRoom app in particular is terrible with all of the other sources besides my phone not showing up on the app( it initially supported other sources but no longer. I regret buying into the Samsung device ecosystem..Version: 4131

Hot garbageLiterally a dumpster fire of an app. The only thing it’s good for is updating the firmware on my soundbar and even then I barely trust it to even get that right. On iOS, the only music service I see is the My iPhone option. It doesn’t even fill the screen on my iPhone 12. I don’t know why Samsung has to try and reinvent the wheel with everything. All they have to do is add airplay and chromecast functionality to the speakers themselves and they’d be perfect..Version: 4145

Zero starsI would rate this app at zero stars if possible. 1. Cannot listen to Apple Music. 2. Adding the R5 speaker to my existing system via the app disconnected all wireless speaker connections in my house. Now there is no sound from my tv, hdmi receiver, sun-woofer, or wireless speakers - with or without the app. No obvious option to undo or remove speakers. Very disappointing Samsung..Version: 4042

R5 360’speaker and MultiRoom appGreat speaker but as soon as I updated my iOS to 13 can no longer connect with WiFi or Bluetooth so it’s totally useless. Samsung won’t say when they’ll be updating the software of the app so that’s a £300 speaker useless! Utterly poor shocking service! App was rubbish to start with glitchy and amateurish. Very unhappy!.Version: 4132

Speakers no longer found and volume flickersCan you please update this app. I can no longer locate my speakers and the volume flickers up and down..Version: 4145

Now pandora has gone finding app not usefulWas a good system with pandora. Don't want to pay $12 a month for other music subscription. Finding the app not useful.Version: 4111

R3 x 2 MultiRoom speakersThe sound is very good and when working perfectly we can’t complain. But we keep experiencing sound drop off. Or sound switching between speakers. Very annoying..Version: 4132

Unstable and frustratingWhen it actually works it's great the speakers are simple and good quality, but this is not the normal state of affairs. The speakers are completely dependent on this app which leaves a lot to be desired. We have four speakers linked, although it is rare that all four are listed and MultiRoom grouping is a joke the app (if it's not crashed half way through and lost all the speakers) says that the speakers are grouped but sound will only be coming out of one. Anyone who wants a simple system to play music around the house should stay away until the app is greatly improved..Version: 4132

Buggy AFI have been using this Ap for years. Bugs have just gotten worse over time. I have been using first an iPhone 6, iPhone 8 and for the last year an iPhone X. -Bluetooth connection error at least once a month. To resolve u have to go to the speaker remove from your network then add. Such a pain. -volume fluctuates. A simple one click volume up will go from hard to hear to deafening. - WiFi connection error. Even though u are connected to your home WiFi and sitting 10 feet from both the speaker and your router, it says u need to connect to your WiFi. I am, I have full WiFi bars and every other app works great. So basically when U get this message it means no speakers for a couple days. Try again a couple days later and it will work fine. I definitely will be going with a different brand when it's time to upgrade..Version: 4132

Awful, really awfulI spent over $3k for purchase, set up, and troubleshoot of this absolutely dysfunctional product suite. The speakers require you ship or take them to Samsung for hardware updates! READ THAT TWICE. The app does not work AT ALL right now on a fully updated iPhone 12. Nothing happens when I attempt to pair speakers or access settings. EVERYTIME, no exaggeration, I try to use my speakers, I have to pair every single one again…if the router can find them. The worst product experience I have had, ever..Version: 4145

Do not update, transformed into spyware!Since last update, doest work without given them location access??! Why do you even need to that to connect to my wifi? Never buying samsung products again, those are nasty times with every app sucking up personal data and take us for granted. I want the old version back! Without that spyware stuff!!!!!.Version: 4145

Please UpdateI have a Samsung R1 speaker. I’ve just unplugged it from the wifi network it’s been working happily on for about 4yrs. I’ve now relocated it to another wifi network at my new residence. Now I can’t connect the speaker. I’ve searched and read through some forums and it appears this is a well known problem. Samsung is well aware and has not appropriately addressed this issue with their users. Common Samsung. You can’t release a product (and continue to sell it) with features that you no longer support. Seriously, do you want the customer to take you seriously? I won’t buy you products if this is how you treat them and your customers!.Version: 4132

Can this get anyworseRegreted getting theses soon after, years of lost connection on app not syncing! Problem after prob! Now it had finally stopped being able to connect to Wi-Fi! Think there is no wi if enough though it was connected last night to it! Reinstalled to crap app and still the same! So basically they are just Bluetooth speakers at the moment! Will not by Samsung again! Problem is I can’t even sell them. Worthless.Version: 4145

Basic unintuitive amateurI am not sure I’ve seen a worse app. In fact it looks different to the one launched a few years back. Does nothing. Maybe they changed it?.Version: 4131

Functional app, but needs a few improvements. This app is semi-functional. For one, the app crashes whenever I try to play an ALAC audio file over WiFi. In order to get one to play, I first have to start a non-ALAC audio file, and then play an ALAC file. Playing an ALAC file first always crashes the app. Second, FAST FORWARDING AND REWINDING DOES NOT WORK WHEN STREAMING THROUGH TIDAL. Tidal compatibility through this app is an advertised feature. How did they screw this up? It seems like this app was written by a third rate intern, and not even tested. In addition: 1. The app has not been updated for the screens on the iPhone X, Xs or their variants. There are huge black bars on the top and bottom. 2. The functionality that lets you play music stored on your phone via WiFi does not let you play Podcasts. To play Podcasts on Samsung soundbars/speakers, I have to stream directly via Bluetooth from the podcast app..Version: 4132

Setup issues/app wont work randomlyThis app needs to be made more user friendly, speed up the loading process get updated for latest phones i.e iphone x and later. I have issue with M5 speakers disconnecting of wifi often need to go through setup process again and again, using this app takes forever to bring them connect to wifi, poor really when you think you’ve paid so much for smart speakers...Version: 4132

GarbageGarbage. Wish I never bought Samsung. No updates at all..Version: 4145

FrustratingYou'll be lucky to get three songs in a row to play before it disconnects. R1 speakers are great. The app is terrible..Version: 4042

Samsung speakers, left on the shelf !!I saved up and researched the choices of speakers on the market and opted for the Samsung’s and was fiddly to setup initially but worthwhile once done. Mo the later and I feel I’ve been conned, with no support for the app and the speakers now redundant. Unfortunate as they sound great when setup. Please don’t leave us on the shelf Samsung, update your app or just refund us all ....Version: 4132

SAMSUNG abandoned all products pre-2017This app doesn’t work. It won’t even recognise that it’s connected to my Wi-Fi network, let alone let me connect to my soundbar. Without the app, the soundbar and subwoofer can’t be configured. The soundbar dropped off my Wi-Fi today and as I can’t use the app to connect it back to my network, I now can’t use the soundbar. This renders all products that rely on this app (i.e. anything pre-2017) useless. Samsung has ignored all pleas from other users to update this app and ensure their products can continue to be used for the purpose they were sold. That’s totally unacceptable. I now see no other option than to pursue legal action..Version: 4145

Very, very glitchyI spend more time making connections, keeping grouped speakers grouped, than I spend listening to music. I must have earned a PhD. in electrical engineering by with all the work arounds I have had to invent, and figuring this App out! VERY, VERY GLITCHY!.Version: 4145

Originally worked great !!Loved the app and speakers initially and now wish I had never spent the money on these speakers. The app and speakers were fantastic when first purchased about 3 years ago. The app worked and speakers sinked quickly and played flawlessly. Since the release of the new app we now have had all the same issues as others with dropped speakers, connection issues and now the app is no longer able to find and connect to any of the four speakers. I can blue tooth to them however can only run one at a time. What a disappointment and lots of money spent and hours wasted for something that no longer works. What is wrong with tech these days? It never works and takes hours of frustration to try and make it work, until the next update is pushed then back to square one and all the frustration. Looks like I will have to go back to playing LPs. Hardwired speakers and old tech works every time with only one set up…..Version: 4145

Latest version is glitchy & unstable!!Don’t know what you guys have done - but the latest update breaks the music stream every few minutes have to restart the playlist!! Same with streaming radio...Version: 4145

Needs updateNeeds iPhone X update..2019 come on now Samsung...Version: 4132

Why location? What’s with the latest up requiring location services to be turned on? I use my Speaker for the tv not for gps audio! This needs to be rolled back!.Version: 4145

Getting better with latest releaseEarly feb release seems to have fixed some stability issues.Version: 4066

Last update broke SiriusXMSince the last update I have not been able to log into SiriusXM through the app, before the upgrade logging into SiriusXM sometimes worked and sometimes did not. I know the account and password are correct. My guess is it has something to do with my account being with SiriusXM Canada, but I don’t know..Version: 4131

Needs an updateEvery time I update my phone software this doesn’t allow my speakers to connect all together to create a surround sound system via Wi-fi with the tv even though the router is right next to it. This app I think is now useless or needs a overhaul.Version: 4145

App broken cannot setup speakersI have used previous versions of the app to configure the WiFi settings of my speakers. This version is broken on iOS 13. It always tries to connect speakers to an AP called ‘WiFi’ rather than the correct AP. Lucky I have an old iPad to be able to setup the speaker!!!! Common Samsung such a basic bug.....Version: 4132

Stops ConstantlyMaybe it’s because I have an iPhone, but this app continually will just stop working in the middle of the song. It will be working fine for an hour or so and then just completely stop and I am not able to get back into it. I have to set it down and wait for it to open again, and sometimes it just won’t start again unless I restart my phone..Version: 4132

FRUSTRATING!!!!Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! Seriously Samsung, what are you doing? Even the last app was working any better than this! It's slow to load, slow to switch between stations, slow to do everything. It's buggy and now, even uglier. I can't understand why this would've even been released. I should never have gone with this product..Version: 4042

New userEverything works ok with connecting speaker to phone but could do with a shuffle function for playing a random playlist.Version: 4132

GARBAGEForces you to purchase music accounts. Does not support YouTube. Unreliable..Version: 4132

Disappointed Guy.The speakers sound great that is true but the app doesn't work good at all. I bought 2 Samsung radiant 360 R1 and the app will only pick up one of the speakers. My iPhone5 will connected to both speakers but will only play one at a time because I can't pair the two speakers in the app. I'm a really disappointed GUY! Come on Samsung I'd expect better outta you guys that's why I went with your brand. This should be an easy fix van you look into this Samsung so I can enjoy both my speaks at the same time or I'll have to return them👎🏾.Version: 4042

Terrible AppVery poor and inconsistent compatibility issues with streaming services. Do not recommend this app. Do not buy Samsung streaming speakers as app to access service is useless..Version: 4131

IOS 13 update please! The app is very buggy in iOS 13 please release an update, last update was 10 months ago!!!!!.Version: 4132

Terrible reliabilityI have 1 wifi soundbar, 2 R3s, 2 R1s, and an R5. I gave 1 star as they all connect with minimal effort 20% of the time. When it works, great, but 80% of the time only this speaker plays or that one. I would not recommend this app and or Samsung audio products. They work, but not reliably, consistently, or effortlessly. PS- Samsung’s customer service it terrible. They are supposed to help fix problems, but they just upset you and defer to someone else when they can’t assist..Version: 4131

Dear SamsungUpdated: Jan 20, 2021 App no longer works in ios14.x. Will Samsung ever fix this and support their products? Geez! This is a real sheet show. Come on Samsung. Get it right! Original review: You’ve lost me as a lifelong customer. Many TV, monitors and soundbars over the years. You’ll never see me or my money again. All because you can’t seem to update an app, yup a small simple app, that hasn’t functioned for a year now. Clearly our relationship is broken. You’ve made it impossible to live with. Your work ethic is horrible. Your concerns for others is non existent. Consider this your divorce papers being served. It was nice when it worked but that’s wins ago now. Best of luck roping in new losers. For we are done. Bye..Version: 4145

Piece of crap !Had nothing but trouble with this app, the last update worked ok for a while but once again since IOS released their latest update for I phone it’s been rubbish. Soundbar drops WiFi connection every time you switch on your tv & the only way it will work is to remove the power supply & reconnect . This also is not guaranteed to solve the problem every time. Very disappointed with Samsung AGAIN !!.Version: 4145

Terrible. Last version betterNo more NAS support Just a new skin on an old version. Up until now I have been a Samsung tech house. No more because your software is terrible on everything I have from you..Version: 4031

Is Anyone at Samsung Listening?Samsung Radiant 360 R1 Bluetooth Speakers have horrible connectivity! I have 3 of them and NONE of them have connected to this app for over 2 weeks! I FINALLy was able to get a hold of a supervisor in the Philippines, who tells me this “App is no longer working and they have no idea if and when it is going to be updated!” What about the hundreds of dollars I paid for the 3 speakers? What happened to service reps in the US that I could understand, who knew something, and were helpful? SO SAD! HORRENDOUS SERVICE!!!!!!.Version: 4145

Fails at the first stepQuestion: why does this app need to access my location? Follow up: I’m connected to wifi - why does the app say my iPhone isn’t? Bit hard to even get to set-up when it fails at the first hurdle..Version: 4145

Pretty good, speakers are great, app needs one improvementThe app works fine for me. Doesn't lag out, crash etc. Only complaint I have is that I use an iPhone 6, the music I bought before using solely Apple Music works but the music I have downloaded from Apple Music without actually purchasing an album does not work. Frustrating as I have downloaded a lot of music since signing up to Apple Music. FIX THIS then 😎👊🏻👌👌.Version: 4042

JoeAbsolutely rubbish, I have two speakers always have problems connecting them and now I can play song from apple on them but this app will not find the speakers even thought the are connected on Bluetooth. Absolutely rubbish wish I would have never bought the speakers, I will never buy Samsu again don’t care about there customers from now on its apple all the way.Version: 4145

IOS 14 location accessIn iOS 14 this app absolutely requires access to your location or it will not function at all. Why?.Version: 4145

Wifi setup doesnt work with iOS 13Devs need to update the app to request permission to Access WiFi Information. Until such times the wifi setup in this app cannot detect that the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network created by a Samsung sound bar and so you cannot progress setting up the wifi settings on the soundbar. Very disappointing from a huge corporation. There are lots of people unhappy about this, me included..Version: 4132

Worst ExperienceWith all the apps and speakers available this is by far the worst experience. We’re on 3 versions of iPhone X models and it still hasn’t been updated to fit the display. But more to the point the app constantly disconnects. The volume buttons only work from within the app instead of anywhere while in use like most musical apps. I have the R5 speakers. They are great but this app ruins the ability to make great use of the speakers..Version: 4132

App issuesThe app has an issue with more than 1 speaker set up! Second speaker cuts in and out second or so! Not very happy, please fix!!.Version: 4066

Useless if you're trying to stream from a network share.I suppose it's fine if you're using one of the few supported services, but otherwise it seems to have some real trouble with browsing a network share (Windows file sharing) or DLNA (Plex or Subsonic). It takes forever for results to populate, and once you're able to actually navigate to an album, the tracks are ordered by title alphabetically rather than by track number; this appears to be the case when using the Multiroom desktop application as well. Very cumbersome to say the least. Native support for Subsonic, Plex, or even Google Play Music (which allows you to upload up to 50,000 of your own tracks for free) would be ideal. But as it stands right now, this app (and by extension, speaker system) is useless for anyone who'd prefer to play their own curated music collection rather than whatever the various streaming services deign to offer..Version: 4094

Not very good at allUsually don’t write reviews. Something has to be really good or bad to get me to spend any of my time writing. This app and speakers are conceptually a great alternative to more expensive solutions. You get what u pay for holds true in this case. In the Apple environment it does not function very well. Will not play Apple music. Yes it is not advertised to have that functionality. You have to download songs to your iPhone music app for the music to play. Not a good setup if you keep your music in the cloud rather than keeping all those files on your device. Setting up wifi, bluetooth is not seamless and takes quite a bit of fiddling, time to get to work. Once set up the speakers do produce good sound and offer decent control at each speaker. Dropped connections are a problem. Listening to three of them now via wifi. Within 20 ft of my router and they just dropped their connection as is common with these. Yes I am running the latest version of the app, ios and firmware on the speakers. Not worth my time anymore..Version: 4131

Has been working wellWould love very much to have the option to add other music/ radio apps. As it is now, very limited choices available unless using Bluetooth feature but then we lose the "stereo" functionality. If more options were available, I'd rate 5 stars..Version: 4111

What a shame.Good speakers (I use 2 R7 as stereo pair) let down by appalling software. The app crashes and stutters on my iPhone and stereo pair separates. Doesn’t play Apple Music. I got these excellent speakers cheap but will be looking to change to Sonos. Why does this app seem to average out at over 4 stars? Lack of response by Samsung says it all....Version: 4132

Annoying!!!This new version is terrible. The old app prior to this upgrade worked fine. Now I need to reset my M5 speakers to the wifi every time we use it. This can take up to 15 minutes to complete. I often give up and listen to the radio instead. Please Please Please fix this!.Version: 4042

Great speakers but terrible app!Been trying for two years to use this app but accept that I have wasted a fortune on six speakers that work only intermittently when the app is in the mood. It drops out after a few seconds or a few minutes no matter how close the source is to the router or the speaker. Such a shame as the sound from the speakers is beautiful..Version: 4132

Very glitchyThis is filled with bugs. Sporadic ally speakers will play and volume will go up and down on their own. This app is in desperate need of an update and enhancement. It would also be nice if I could play YouTube playlist as well..Version: 4145

Worst app everNot user friendly, takes forever to load 😂.Version: 4132

Connection difficultyI can’t even use my phone to connect the speakers. When I open the app, it tells me to connect the speakers to WiFi net work first or app won’t work. Well, the problem is you need to use this app to connect speakers to WiFi. How could Samsung design something like this. It makes no sense at all..Version: 4132

‘Token track empty’ errors!I have a Samsung R3 speaker and like many other reviewers here I feel utterly annoyed & disappointed that the software for these is useless. I use the Tune-In radio app with my speaker & most of the radio stations refuse to play as they come up ‘token track is empty’ error messages all the time. When I play Tune-In on my PC, Mac or whatever else it’s absolutely fine. I know lots of people have these problems yet Samsung do sod all about it. I’d never ever buy Samsung again either now.Version: 4145

No Alexa, app is averageNo way to use these speakers with Alexa or Google home as far as I can see. The app is also quite buggy, eg volume controls tend to jump around a lot. Should have got Sonos!.Version: 4131

Please update !Application lente, laide et vieillotte. TuneIn ne semble plus fonctionner depuis quelques temps. Les haut-parleurs sont de bonnes qualité, mais l’application semble laissée à l’abandon. C’est désolant d’avoir payé pour un système complet, mais de ne pas pouvoir l’utiliser à sa juste valeur!.Version: 4145

Not a great appNot a great app for HW k950. Needs more setting options.Version: 4131

UselessI tried using this app to stream music to my Samsung MS650 soundbar. Pandora played 3 songs and then stopped. Checking the app it couldn’t find my soundbar anymore. The only way I could get the soundbar to show up in the app was to connect to the soundbar using my TV first. Now the app can see the soundbar but all the streaming choices, except for My iPhone, disappeared. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but Pandora and whatever other sources used to be there are no longer available..Version: 4132

Don’t but Samsung if you use AppleRead the other reviews: since upgrading to iOS13 I am unable to connect to the speakers. Tried the helpline but useless. Went into a local Samsung Support Store - they don’t do speakers, but the guy in there was able to connect no problem using his Samsung phone. Extremely poor service from Samsung given the consistency of 1* ratings on here..Version: 4132

App requires update to work with iOS 13Well Samsung are lagging behind yet again...the app needs to be updated to work with iOS 13. A lot of users are complaining and Samsung are taking no notice and effectively making the speakers/soundbars useless since you cannot set up the WiFi. Come on Samsung get your act together and sort this out..Version: 4132

ZERO STARS: Constant Issues With Dropping Out & Volume AdjustmentsI’m wondering if I’m being forced to ditch my perfectly good speakers & buy new ones. The speakers consistently cut out & disconnect & then reconnect & announce: CONNECTION COMPLETE over & over & over & TBH .. I’M OVER IT!! On the rare occasion when the speakers do work, the volume seems to be being controlled by something or someone other than me. Then when I attempt to adjust the volume back to the setting I selected, it’s as if someone or something is playing a game of “tug o war” with me ie. the volume suddenly goes to max volume. I grab my phone & attempt to turn the volume down. It’s as if something is fighting against my direction & attempts to keep it at full volume. This can be quite distressing, at best disturbing, annoying, irritating, frustrating & at times provokes anger & even rage. This isn’t what I paid for. I’d give you ZERO STARS, but there wasn’t an option..Version: 4145

Just purchased HW-MS750Had this speaker roughly a month and the second week ALL of the music services on the app have stopped loading. I've reset speaker, phone, wifi, deleted app (several times). Called Samsung and they tell me it's apples problem with not being able to clear the cache for the app on iPhone. Regardless I brought this speaker for a specific reason and now I can't use the services it's advertised to be used with... update this with a cache erasing button or fix the services. Please and thank you :).Version: 4111

Poor excuse of controlling costly devicesI have 3 R1’s & Samsung Q70 tv... Communication btwn these devices is poor & app is No help. After listening to music on the R1’s via this app for 10 minutes, if I want to change the song I have to close the app, reopen it, join the speakers Again! Then I can change the song. So, wish I spent my money on 2 Sanos instead. If you people ever did proper R&D with this app you’d know the limitations & make it right... thus not have to inquire how bad it performs. All one can assume is you don’t care about what you’ve already sold thus I doubt you’ll ever do anything to make this app better. Greedy ( ).Version: 4132

Freezes all the timeThis app needs to be updated. It freezes all the time. It has to be redownloaded before we can use properly.Version: 4132

Terrible appNothing but issues, extremely hard to load and sync and some speakers will literally disappear or quit working. A total frustrating waste of your time, calling it JUNK is being to kind for this garbage..Version: 4132

Doesn’t work with IOS13!!I’ve got a soundbar, 2 x R3 speakers and 3 x R1 speakers and they are now all just pretty ornaments as the MultiRoom app doesn’t allow me to connect them to my WiFi since I changed my router. The Samsung email support is useless and tells me to follow the troubleshooting steps and to “contact my network provider”. I’ve followed the steps numerous times to no avail. The Samsung phone support has promised me a call back in 24 to 48 hours but I don’t hold out much hope. I’ve spent over £1500 on these devices and enjoyed them for quite some time but now they’re just junk. Come on Samsung, sort your app out as otherwise it’s a replacement with Sonos for me and I’ll never touch another Samsung device again..Version: 4132

Signal drop-outThe radio will often drop out or completely stop ( it does not coincide with wifi connection) other than that we love this app!.Version: 4094

Slow and glitchyIn short: slow and requires restarts just to pause music. In long: Open app to turn off or down music, go for pause, reload for 10 seconds, sometimes requiring a restart. Groups: remake just about every time you want one. Nothing on Home Screen to seek or anything, seems standard now for music apps..Version: 4145

Good but not greatCan't have multiple stereo pairs /groups playing out the same music in sync; I bought 2 speakers for stereo sound in the kitchen , can only get mono, no option to define if a speaker is to play left / right or mono. Chromecast and Play-Fi can do this but not Samsung wireless, hopefully it can be fixed. No way to define shortcuts to configurations, ie, TV surround, full house audio etc App crashes a bit..Version: 4094

RubbishIf you’re trying to use Samsung speakers with an iPad then don’t bother. I have 10 Samsung speakers that constantly drop out of sync. The app will not allow you to make a playlist or allow access to the whole of my music library . I contacted Samsung direct and was told the app was not compatible with apple!!.Version: 4131

No Internet ConnectionI never review apps but this has gone too far now. I have been using this app for 3 years now and yes there have been some slight problems along the way especially using Deezer through the app. Certain playlist won’t play and the ones that do I have to keep removing the songs and adding new ones so they will play, these are just small niggles but lately the app just seems to of got worse I have been a deezer customer for years but lately whenever I’m using deezer through the Samsung multi room app I’m now getting messages of “no internet connection” Couple of weeks ago I had no issues but now I can’t play any song from deezer. I’ve reinstalled the app I even signed out of deezer and now I can’t sign back in. I’ve checked my details and they are correct. What gives Samsung? The app wasn’t brilliant to start with now things have got worse. These R5 speakers are brilliant so why don’t you update the app so we can use them to there full potential. It needs sorting out!!.Version: 4145

TerribleI wish I knew how bad the connections were with this speaker and app. Multiple times I’ve deleted the app reinstalled and it only has errors. Constantly asks to join the Wi-Fi network that the speakers are connected to which is already the case. After investing in a speaker system it now looks like Samsung has abandoned the app all together. Most apps get better, this one gets worse. Until they address this very basic component of a complete sound system, do not buy the speakers..Version: 4145

New bug in the app?So after a few years of fine performance, the function no longer works. No changes to technology on my side... Bluetooth still connects to my R1 speaker but the app does not load and freezes on the find speaker/add speaker/settings screen...reloaded app, no help, reboot of speaker no help, reboot router no help...getting thru to customer service impossible......help!.Version: 4145

Garbage appGrouped two R1 speakers with MS650 soundbar and the bar constantly drops out after a few minutes despite all showing as grouped. App doesn’t remember your groups or surround setup when you go back into which is irritating. Very, very poor functionality. So glad the rest of my products are Apple ones - at least they make things that work together unlike sub-par samsung!!!.Version: 4131

Works but barelyIt’s functional, but it’s painfully slow to do anything at all.Version: 4132

HorribleThe worst app on the App Store. Absolutely a waste of time.Version: 4131

Hate itSpent $240 on this speaker!!! The app is terrible, I have an iPhone X and it takes 5 mins just for the app to open. The main reason I got it was for it’s WiFi capability, have several WiFi smart speakers by sonos and had no problem connected them to my WiFi it was a 30 second process. As for my Samsung R3 speaker, that’s far from the case it will not connect to my WiFi at all, I moved the speaker right next to my modem and still not connecting. I really want to use this speaker because I have the Samsung smart tv and it can connect wirelessly. Come on Samsung this is an expensive speaker this ought to be the easiest set up ever. Contact me!!!!.Version: 4111

Flaky at best, but now won’t connect at allNot the best of applications, UI is clunky and unintuitive, rescanning of speakers that have not been turned off is a pain, selecting input sources can be a challenge, but the real issue is compatibility with IOS 13. Since upgrading to IOS 13 despite being connected to WiFi the app keeps telling me to connect to WiFi making the app and my speakers unusable..Version: 4132

Seems outdatedThe only reason I use this app is so that I can play music from my phone. Blue tooth on the new iPhone doesn’t seem to want to stay connected so I’m forced to use this so that it doesn’t disconnect randomly. The UI seems outdated and for some reason on the iPhone 12 Pro Max the resolution of everything seems like it’s set to 480 blurry at certain places and doesn’t take the whole screen. Takes like the center only for some reason..Version: 4145

App needs major improvementApple Music integration? Plus size iPhone support? Less glitches and bugs? Would be nice.....Version: 4042

Riddled with bugsThis app isn’t even optimized for iphones above the iphone 6. we are already on like iphone 13 and this app still isn’t optimized for the iphone 10.Version: 4145

This jobs doesn’t work anymoreCan’t connect m7,m5 or soundbar to the app anyway.Version: 4132

Crap customer serviceI updated my WiFi now this App doesn’t work and despite being told the same thing to do about ten times the customer service advisors don’t listen and are hard to understand they’re are over polite and say nice things but don’t resolve any issues.Version: 4132

No Apple MusicDoesn't allow me too stream my Apple Music to the sound bar.Version: 4111

Nice speakers ruined by rubbish appThe speakers are great, the problem is getting them to work. I have a Soundbar and two R1 speakers. Trying to get all three to work together is impossible. When you finally get them working it’s great, however stop using them and your back to square one every time having to spend literally hours trying to get the app to find the speakers. Set them up as a group is impossible and at this moment I’m unable to do this. Personally I’m switching back to Sonos as the app for Sonos works flawlessly. Set your speakers up once and they just work. Samsung this is not acceptable!!!!!.Version: 4132

Connectivity issuesUnfortunately I find 3rd party apps to be more effective at playing music through Samsung speakers than this app. Throw in connectivity issues with the speakers where they will no longer work with IOS updates and I have decided I won’t be buying Samsung speakers again..Version: 4145

Deezer issuesThey have not updated this app for ages and an issue has arisen with Deezer where it won’t work anymore, where it just say “no internet connection” regardelss of being connected and the app working with other services. This has been going on for more than 6 months…I give up as these speakers are now just gathering dust with lack of use. Come on Samsung…customer service. I won’t be buying Samsung again if this doesn’t change..Version: 4145

Forget Samsung MultiRoom! If this is the best that Samsung can do, do not buy their multiroom products. This is buggy, poorly designed and just pathetic. No support for podcasts (seriously!). Did you guys even test this for more than 5 minutes before unleashing it on those of us who spent good money on your speakers? Come on Mr Samsung, get it together!.Version: 4042

Deezer no connectionI am having a deezer connection problem on samsung multiroom app. I did log out and log in again now it shows that user id and password are wrong. What a funny app its cannot properly. Next time definitely i will consider other brands and test their apps..Version: 4145

Great app. Worst coding behind appI think it is an amazing app when everything is working as it should but when it is not working which is most of the time it is really annoying. I think there is a lot that Samsung could do about it but to my knowledge there is nothing they are trying to do. Btw I have a iPhone and as what I have read is that most people with iPhones have issues..Version: 4132

Needs to be updatedThis app used to work great, but with iOS 13 I am no longer able to set up my speaker. I can connect when it was set up, but when I updated my WiFi network I lost the ability to setup the speaker. I have to use an old iOS device running an older OS to set up. Once set up I can connect to the speaker. This only affects the WiFi..Version: 4132

Software needs updating URGENTLY!I have got two Samsung WAM1500 speakers that I use with a TV sound bar. The other day these speakers needed reconfiguring, as they suddenly dropped off my Wi-Fi network. “No problem” I thought. “Just perform a hard reset and use this app to rejoin them to my Wi-Fi network”. Wrong! Since the iOS 13 update, this program doesn’t work. You can’t use it to set up any Samsung Multi Room speakers. Wouldn’t be a problem if you could configure these things another way, but you can’t. This app is the *only way* to set up these speakers. The solution is to find an old device running an old version of iOS and install this application onto that. Then it works ok. Not a brilliant advertisement for a Samsung product that cost 100’s of £‘s. Just makes you feel like Samsung couldn’t care less about older products. I hope they get this app updated to work with the current iOS version ASAP..Version: 4132

Not bad but why is location required? This app is pretty good on the whole, but I value my privacy and I can see, no, reasonable, reason why it should require my location and require location services to be on to work. Additionally it requires a lot of steps to change input sources on different speakers. Getting the speakers to sync and all play from a single input source is extremely awkward..Version: 4145

Something changedMost of my followed radio stations under the TUNE IN tab no longer function. Only the one local radio station works. 😡.Version: 4145

Wish I never bought the speakers due to this appThis app is terribly buggy. For multi-room it’s slow, it locks up, it looses speakers, the play back is erratic. Deezer is awful on it - one search and the app stops working. I have reset and reinstalled software. Bought a hub in the hope that would help to no avail. I bought these speakers for their multi-room capability but this app makes them useless and there are no alternatives. I’m shocked Samsung haven’t done something about this yet - don’t they care about their customers?.Version: 4132

This App needs an updateThis app has needed an overhaul for a while now. Since the new iOS 13 update, the app does not work consistently. If I delete and reinstall it can see that I’m connected to wifi, after a day or 2 it no longer works. Samsung, you’re too big a company to have such a poor performing app..Version: 4132

I cannot begin to express how much I hate this appI expected that Scamsung would be able to hire some co-ops to write software, but I guess I was naive. This used to be half decent when I purchased my speakers (blue icon app) but since the "new designed and improved" app was forced upon us, nothing works properly. And why this abusive forced location permission? The app crashes if denied (5 years was not needed...but now Scamsung wants to know where you are or not deliver the services you paid for). Atrocious..Version: 4145

Shit AppCan’t load or sync. No support. Piece of crap.Version: 4132

Bad appThis app is junk.Version: 4042

Great! 1% of the timeVery, very frustrating. Works fine on one speaker, but so does Bluetooth. The grouping of speakers does not work though. I’ve reset everything and tried numerous combinations. When set up (after a long time every time) I’m lucky if get a full song before it drops out again..Version: 4127

App playbackIt's a clever app, the issue is when ever you adjust the volume, put the phone back down within the next few minutes the app continues to adjust the volume down to a really really low volume.Version: 4111

Incredible potential, Very poor functionalityI never write reviews but I am fed up with this app. Normally I would just get a different app that performs the same function, but Samsung has me backed into a proprietary corner. If the bugs were worked out it would be incredibly convenient and functional, but it only works correctly 15%-20% of the time. I even provided feedback with my problems via the app and have not heard a word from anyone. I refuse to spend hours on the phone trying to troubleshoot something I paid a lot of money for. The speakers and sound bar actually sound nice, on the off chance you get to hear something coming from them. Do not depend on this app to provide functionality for your Samsung speakers. If you buy the speakers and plug them in via hardware then they might work for you. Otherwise, put your money towards something that works..Version: 4131

Not full screen assume abandoned by SamsungThe app doesn’t run at full screen, appears development has been abandoned by Samsung..Version: 4132

Needs an update!!!!App is outdated & looks old Does not runs smooth Regretful purchase into samsungs speakers Samsung should move this into smart things app.Version: 4145

Doesn’t work with iOS 14App needs extra permissions to access WiFi but it doesn’t ask the user. App is currently useless..Version: 4132

Disastrous AppDoesn’t work at all... app opens to say connect to wifi even though I am... deleted and re-installed the app, was able to try and connect the speakers but they failed 3 times before it reverted back to saying “connect to wifi”... absolute joke, spent hundreds on these speakers and they are completely useless because of the joke of an app that hasn’t even had an update in nearly a year... w*#nkers!.Version: 4132

IPhone X support neededHandy but needs to be optimised for iPhone X. Also isn’t the most attractive app or easiest to use....Version: 4131

Doesn’t work anymoreIt won’t even open now. Flashes some message about wifi that is too quick to read then closes!.Version: 4145

Doesn’t recognise streaming log in detailsAfter having no issues with this app for a while, it is now failing to recognise music streaming log in details. Spent 90 minutes going through 5 different people on Samsung website live chat, none of whom could assist, then been on the phone on hold for nearly an hour before the person being spoken with cut the phone call off and didn’t even call back despite confirming contact details. When the app works it is good, but pretty pointless if you can’t stream your music.Version: 4145

Quits unexpectedly too oftenFrequently have to reboot app and it takes too long to find speakers.Version: 4132

Terrible UX, barely worksFor such a large company, I’m shocked at how poorly Samsung has designed this app. Not only does it frequently crash and drop out, the software update to the app has changed the way the speakers connect to the network. So when I had to reconnect my speaker to a new network after moving house, it literally won’t work unless i update the speaker firmware. But i cant do that without connecting the speaker to the network!.Version: 4132

Connecting both speakersExtremely difficult to get both speakers working simultaneously. It becomes temperamental and you’re constantly having to use only 1 speaker when you’re watching a movie..Version: 4132

Worst app and productDon’t work anymore. Nothing does, always use to stuff up but now doesn’t work at all. Not happy at all..Version: 4132

Worst app everNothing works right. Grouping speakers never works properly. The app forgets the group every time I launch it and even when I’m using it, volume control has a mind of its own and literally goes up and down without being touched. Terrible app, terrible connectivity. Speakers sound great but without the user experience being improved, I’ll sell my speakers and spend the extra money on Sonos products..Version: 4145

They abandoned us on 7/9/23On July 9, Samsung app no longer connects and continuously, like at the stroke of midnight, reboots on ALL 6 of my speakers. Forums are blowing up that we now own bricks instead of speakers. This app has always been terrible, now it’s the death knell that we knew would come. Turns out they broke a relationship with iHeart and Deezer so the hardware keeps trying to connect to these streaming services. It won’t and you can’t find a way around it. Go Sonos..Version: 4145

Very poorVery difficult to use.Version: 4131

Good idea ...... butGood idea but the app has problems. On WiFi you get fade outs. If the phone interrupts the app I have to restart the app from scratch, sometimes even restart the phone as well to get the app, phone, music and speakers to talk to each other..Version: 4131

IOS 13 INCOMPATIBLE!Samsung has not updated this app in about a year and the current version is not compatible with iOS 13. The current iOS changed the way WiFi networks are accessed and the legacy Multiroom app cannot connect. This means the app cannot pair with a new speaker under iOS 13. There are multiple complaints on Samsung support site from iOS users, but to date there’s no company feedback on when to expect an updated app..Version: 4132

Shocking AppI have x3 Samsung R6/7 speakers and cannot use these as the app is so useless! I’ve had the speakers 3 years and been using the app for this timescale. It’s never been perfect but since the app updated my speakers will not connect anymore! The app is extremely limited and does not allow for specific troubleshooting. I’ve contacted Samsung support and even they can’t help. I’ve spent hours, wasted hours trying to sort this problem. My advice...don’t buy Samsung multimedia devices that require connection through the multimedia app as you’ll be as frustrated as me and cannot receive any help. I’m going to have to throw these speakers away (£600). Not good for the environment but what does Samsung care?!!.Version: 4132
