✓ One of the more disappointing Kairosoft titles.This game is a perfect example of how bad "free" games can be. This game by design is not as detailed as some of the company regular buy games. I like the premise of airplanes with Kairosoft's usual design of games, but the "free" model make the game boring a dragged out. If they had made it more like high seas saga, I would have enjoyed it much more. Great idea, bad execution..Version: 1.02

✓ A good game, but not a great game!One of the things that kept bringing me back to Kairosoft games was their all in package! You could 'demo' a game with their 'Lite' versions before putting any money down for one of their apps. This was a great way and I currently own 8 of them. However, now they have ventured to the realm of Freeium games, while not hitting a pay wall as abruptly as other developers it is slow progress. That being said, I have gotten quite a lot in the game and a good level and rank with not a single penny spent, that is, if you don't mind waiting and the whole system of Freeium games is to snag those impatient whales. The game plays well and I'm enjoying quite a lot. However with the Freeium base having to skip ads before entering the game is a pain, some can see past that others can't, I'm in the former and with bad reception to load the ad it can take a good 3 to 4 minutes to even enter the game. The premise is good, lots of choice and your Kairosoft favourites are still here, it is a good game, however it is not a great game!.Version: 1.00

✓ Great game. Crashes a tad too often. Buggy with its timerGreat charmy game. You will find lots of description on why elsewhere. But man the game can crash. And the crashes happen often. When it happens during an “expedition”, your progress is gone. You spent 20KG on lunch? Gone. You spent a lot of time finding the right escort helper? Gone. There is no progress resumption. (Playing on iPad mini 4.) I find crashes most often when you stay in the same screen for too long. (“Long” as in more than a few seconds.) As a player, you cant fix the bug. I dont recommend rushing anything. Just in an expedition, try not to go afk. The timer is buggy and just poorly coded. This compounds with the item cap system. You are supposed to get 6 hours before excess items are removed. (Not sold not converted to anything. Removed.) Item removal does not follow any last-in first-out order. It follows some rough value order with some randomness. (Value as assigned by the game. Not in true utility. Nor is there any protection for exclusive items from draws.) So, what happens when the timer is poorly coded? I had 50 items removed after playing for half an hour! 50! 0.5 hour! If you have started the game you know the item cap starts at 30 and does not go over 120 for a long time unless you pay and even if you do it still doesnt go over 120 quickly. Figure what 50 means in game progression. I re-opened the game from last night without having to reboot the app. Presumably, the excess item status is unable to refresh the timer. Why? Poor coding is why. Here, the player can ensure to reboot the app upon a new session as long as it’s a new day. And that’s why I left a review. For the player, I hope you heed the warning and take the precaution. The bug can happen to you. For the dev, please, get the timer to work. Caching progression shouldnt be crazy costly to develop either..Version: 1.93

✓ I've given up.It's clear to me now that Kairosoft don't read reviews and don't listen to fan requests. For nearly a year now, we've been begging for English releases of their Train Sim, Arcade Sim, and Superhero Sim. We've begged for full priced games, because we like to pay £4 for a fully functioning title, not one that is based around siphoning off hundreds of pounds by hitting players with paywalls. To review Skyforce, I will say that it is a massive game and they must have put a ton of effort into it. However, the gameplay itself is a bit odd and could've been done a hundred other ways that would have been so much more fun. It's not a bad game; it's just frustrating, because you can never just play with reckless abandon - there's always a "preventative measure" in place stopping you from fully enjoying it without having to cough up more cash. It feels like your mother charging you every time she gives you a hug, or bakes you cookies. That's how I feel with this game. It just means I'd rather be playing something else. Considering the last 5 or 6 games have all been F2P I have now given up on Kairosoft ever releasing a traditional, fun title ever again. I used to check the App Store daily but i won't bother anymore. I'll look again in 6 months only to find Generic F2P Title #8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 with nothing else released. What a shame. Kairosoft was synonymous with fun and quality, now they're just like every other BATTLE SAGA KINGDOM FIGHTER EXTREME game company out there..Version: 1.00
