✓ Good game but...Game is good though not as good as block fortress war because getting to destroy enemy barracks and playing as zomblocks or blokoids made the game more... interesting and hopefully they make a new block fortress game that isn’t as trashy as this and don’t think the devs ever read these reviews so you guess why block fortress empires doesn’t have that many players playing the the game right now (yes hackers don’t get punished on this game because the devs are super lazy and the game is completely trash!) the game is so trashy that I had to delete it completely and no I don’t do that very often only to the extremely bad games only alternative was to wait and see if there would be an update in the future but after what I read in one of these reviews saying that the devs don’t take any advice and likely the devs are lazy and don’t even care about what happens to the game itself and I doubt they will fix any more bugs they probably don’t even care if the game dies or not and no doubt I know it’s true after what I found out in these 1 star reviews don’t know why the devs resorted to a trashy game like this one and the reason that makes me say the game is trash is the devs haven’t fixed any bugs lately and increases the likelihood of the game being trash and yes I mean so if they make a new game of block fortress hope it’s better than this and yes I was hoping this game could’ve been better like a player said this game has wasted it’s potential!.Headless haunterVersion: 2.1.3

✓ Rarity isn’t accurateGreat game, it’s fun being able to watch people beat your traps. I’m not fond of the absolute luck factor in upgrading your stuff. For instance, I LOVE the Holo Gun. If you can draw someone into a kill box where they’re getting hit on all sides and it’s hard to tell who’s shooting them, it’s just...satisfying. But despite it being a “rare” item, I’ve only ever gotten one (you need 2 to upgrade). I’m up to level 5. I’ve gotten literally hundreds of items at this point and I spent $20 on defense boxes trying to get one. I’ve gotten more than a dozen “epic” items and the “rare” melt gun cards like they’re suckers at a doctor’s office. But only EVER 1 card of the kind I want to upgrade. I’ll be coming into level 6 with an underpowered favorite block and literally no way to reliably upgrade it. I’d pay a premium for that by now. It makes me sad. PS—CHOOSE YOUR FIRST WORLD WISELY. I’m not sure why, but terraforming your world makes it much much smaller. Your first world is much larger than all the other options you choose, giving measurably more defensive options. Intentional? ✓ DisappointedSo I loved the first block fortress war, because it had many good mechanics and interesting gameplay. But this addition to the series stripped the last game of those fun mechanics and tried to make something new. I also really don’t like the idea of loot crates in a game like this. If you want to fix this game it’s going to take a lot but it’s possible. First off, get rid of loot creates... The thing that I loved about the last game that you took away was the waves of units that spawned, so you have to add them back in so both sides spawn units. I actually like the idea of setting up your own defense, but you took away the good mechanics that would make this idea fun so you should bring a majority of the last games mechanics into this game if you really want to please the fan base and revive this game in the series. So much wasted potentialIt really is a shame that the concepts behind this game are amazing and unparalleled by almost anything in the mobile game industry, but Foursaken media has ruined it by loot crates that take 3 hours to open, extensive paywalls, and excessive grinding just to level up slightly. It just gets more repetitive as you go on, because leveling up past level 3 is really time consuming, and it doesn’t help that it takes 1-3 hours every time you just want to go to the next campaign level. I would have much rather just paid $2.99 for a good version of this game without paywalls, than play this free version. I love the Block Fortress franchise, and hope they will make many good games in the future, as they have done in the past. ✓ Great but some things are whackI love the block fortress saga the idea of build and defend is really cool and when bf empires came around i thought bro this is cool and it was but i noticed when i got into rank 10 a lot of hackers started attacking me like one time i was attacked by a player and he walked past my defense and traps without cloaking device and with raids i noticed a lot of players somehow remove their door in their base and fill the outside map with water and about the weapons the drill is too op it has too much capicity and players also drill right under my base the canister launcher also needs some adjustment well those are my thoughts.Bread616Version: 2.1.3

✓ Great game with terrible loot boxes.As with most of not all Foursaken media games, the gameplay here is incredible and worthy of being on pc to be frank. The balance so far seems to be quite good, especially considering how much is player determined. The designs for everything look quite good as well, much better than most mobile games you’ll find. The problem however is the loot boxes. After four successful raids or defences (they are separate categories) you can no longer collect any crates until one has been opened which takes a minimum of three hours and up to I believe twelve hours with better crates taking longer. You also are only able to have one crate each counting down for the defence tab or attack tab each meaning that to open four lowest level crates, the maximum you can have at any one time, would take twelve hours minimum if you were to start the countdown for the next one every three hours. Again this is for lowest level crates. Now there are two ways to speed this up, you can either watch an ad or you can pay with premium in game currency. Now you can slowly earn this currency but not nearly at the rate you’ll be collecting crates. As for the ads you are only allotted 4 ads you can watch in a currently unknown time period before you have to pay premium currency. Had there been the ability to simple keep watching ads to unlock crates or a simple straight dollar amount to reduce the crate timers from hours to minutes for say a month I would have no issue. However as it stands the game essentially doesn’t let you play it for any extended time unless you are willing to spend constant money on premium currency..Someone b dnqgbfbrvacatshsvsVersion: 1.0.4

✓ My experience 4I definitely enjoy this game so much for over a few months now, This would be 5 stars but for some things in the game are too broken and need a fix/nurf, in order of most broken in my opinion drill’s ammo capacity of like 70 and up is too much, like the shrinking super long lasting time of a full 60 seconds, and lastly the hoverboard being able to triple + jumps, people are using little combo set up to rush into bases, the effects all together are too overpowered when anyone can glide past defenses without taking any damage or just drill under neath them, and it’s something that shouldn’t be an issue, until they have everything covered by 3 tools Also found out a few profiles of people and also who are actually cheating by and are getting away with it, weather it be not being targeted by defense turrets when they are in range of it, or not being affected by the stun or slow effect of the zapper, and not being pulled by an attractor, for people to cheat this bad is not fair and needs fixed As well as major issues I’ve seen the canister launcher needs a re-work, and the teleport drone apparently can’t be targeted by any turrets But then again I don’t don't think the developers even read their own ratings on there own game so this I doubt any of what I said will be fixed/updated on.Austinoo1Version: 2.1.3

✓ A sad turn for the series.The original Block Fortress was a gem, a true work of art on the mobile platform for it’s time. A game that made me a die hard fan of this developer. This game however has murdered the Series for me by changing the formula. What was a beautiful premium masterpiece is now a trashy free-to-play money grab centered around PvP, timers, and loot boxes. Half of me wants this blatant pandering and cash-grab of a game to fail horribly due to how upset I am that the Dev killed a game/franchise I loved bu drastically changing the game’s core spirit. Half of me hopes it succeeds because even though this iteration of the game is trash I have seen the great games this developer has produced in the past and maybe the funds from this nightmare can produce something great in the future. ✓ Everything EXCEPT THE MULTIPLAYEREverything was alright. there were lootcrates, to be expected, the their opening times and open slots are too little. I got multiple boxes with an 8 hour unlock time, usually leaving me to abandon the game half the day. That much is fine, since there are ads that can shorten the length to open. The multiplayer, however, was ATROCIOUS. I had around 100 ping, but the connection was trash, making movement slow and jittery compared to the normal singleplayer raid. The chat is equally bad, with the potential to spam the top half of my screen with trash. How am I supposed to earn 20 Co-Op stars if I cannot even do a single raid?.AZ09XOVersion: 2.1.3

✓ Lost content, lost interestNo, the game didn’t delete my content, but it did refuse to let me use it. I own an iPad ( this review is on my phone ), and I got pretty far onto this game, but then I got a phone, and that is where things go wrong. The iPad stopped working, but the data transfer made it so that all its data should have transferred to the phone. NOPE! As it turns, out no data was transferred to this phone. No problem. I’ll just find the redeem purchases button. Guess what? IT DOSEN’T EXIST!!! You can play one 30 second level of the campaign every hour. If you want to play more than that...you’ve got to shell out. ✓ Multiple issues1. Apparently nobody is playing the game right now. Connected to USA (west/east) servers, Asia servers, Europe, Russia, and apparently nobody is matchmaking. Either literally nobody plays this game, matchmaking is bugged, or my WiFi decided to spaz again. 2. Lightning flash is extremely annoying and it makes your screen go all white for a few seconds, temporarily blinding you. This can either be a nuisance while building, or a nuisance when you’re trying to raid. 3. Upon reaching Lv. 2-3, A majority of the areas you’ll end up fighting players with powerful turrets far beyond that of which you are capable of. I ended up facing a guy with 4 melt turrets which I only survived because he had the decency to put a wall inbetween the turrets and the spawn.
