✓ How mobile arcade games ought to be.I don't usually write reviews, but this is one of those special gems that hit the app store. Where just the perfect amount of fun, time, flare, and depth it's encompassed in this game. Also just the nostalgia of arcade games is everywhere, from the art, music, pacing, and vibe. The gameplay it's very simple, but has a lot of depth as well. Also the game price it's a steal. Must buy :).Version: 1.0
✓ Great fun but repetitive with only repetitive replay valueTotally like a long lost Turbografx 16 game. Really fun until you realize the rpg elements are never realized. I finished the 4 bosses and barely 1/2 my character's stats were upgraded. Really they should have made the upgrades persistent between deaths and just increments them in smaller upgrade levels. Finishing the game just to find out I have to finish it again but collect more gold for their "true" ending is a real let down. I know why they designed arcade mode this way but with some adjustments you could get even more replay value without the progress-less repetition..Version: 1.0

✓ Awesome turn based gameplayI love to fling my character around and bounce off of enemies to attack them and the fact that you can tap at the exact time you get hit to parry an attack makes the game more difficult which is great. All the enemies do something different which is awesome and the few cutscenes that are in the game look awesome. So delve into the dungeon where the treasure busters reside. ✓ The Binding of Issac meets... pool?Definitely worth the money and has a lot of charm. I can’t say I’ve played any other game like this but it works really well and there’s a lot of content. To leave some feedback though: 1. A tutorial would be nice, so that it explains the basic premise and a few technical things like how auras work. 2. A description of each character’s unique mechanics on the character selection screen would be really great. 3. It’s easy enough to figure out what items do just by using them, but a brief description upon pickup or when activated would result in less trial-and-error. 4. Some games can go on a bit.. long? My first ever run ended up going for over an hour, and as fun as it was, I won’t have many slots in my days where I can actually play for that long. Otherwise this is a real innovative game and I think the developers are onto something. This and their other game have so much charm and feel so unique..Version: 1.0

✓ Like a lost '90s arcade classicThis unique game has the look, feel and sound of a '90s arcade game... perhaps 'classic' isn't quite the right word - This is more a niche, uh, gem. Gameplay is fast and compelling, mixing pinball with something like a turn-based bullet hell shooter (if that makes any kind of sense) and linking everything with a Smash TV style progression through a series of rooms ending with a boss on each floor. With six heroes to choose from, there's plenty of replay potential (They all have beautifully drawn end stories to discover). My only criticism is the game, while fun, is not very challenging. Don't get me wrong - I don't enjoy getting destroyed on a final boss fight! But a 'hard' mode would be welcome. Also another instruction screen would be good to explain some of the mechanics (e.g. You can tap to 'parry' enemy attacks; also a proper explanation of 'aura'). Short review: Fun game, great price, great presentation, something unique and different on the App Store! If you have $1 / 79p, this is worth way more than that..Version: 1.0
