They have changed what happens when you collect the 50's blocks, which effects the game poorly even though this single change was described in a "performance enhancement". I had hopes that that would mean that the rate in which you received stars was much better, but it was not. I payed for no adds and double times the stars and I still feel jipped. I feel terrible for those who didn't buy that feature. But the difference in stars received from the score of 6,000 to 40,000 is barely anything over 40 stars for me and it just ruins the accomplishment. If I am giving so many stars away to keep a game going, I would like to receive a reasonable amount if I get a high score. The idea of the game is fun and I like it. The ads are numerous and very annoying, appearing before the “do you want to double your stars” button (which gives you more ads). Sometimes (especially when I do well it seems), the ad is nothing but darkness with no x button, which means I don’t get my star reward. This is very annoying as every time I am doing well in the game the app likes to freeze, crash, or give me one of those “inescapable darkness” ads. The only way to get out of the latter that I have found is to refresh the app- which of course means you don’t get the stars you earned. These darkness ads persist after the game is closed until they are refreshed. It’s very annoying. I feel like this is a plot to give me more ads and keep me from earning stars to make me pay for them, but I guess it could be a fluke. ✓ SO MUCH SPAMThere are so many spam ads that pop up in the middle of games and cause other pop ups to appear that you can't close out of without it bringing you to another app site telling you that you won something. Additionally, and by far the worst part. My phone will break out in an ear piercing 8 beep sequence that will keep going until the app is shut down. This happens even if the app isn't open (like before you double tap home and swipe up to officially close an app). It has happened in the middle of the night, it has made people think a fire alarm was going off, it's happened while I'm driving. ✓ So much potentialI hate that this game is so addicting. If you’re a fan of puzzles and like to be challenged this would be the game for you. Interestingly, if you start a game in "timed" mode, an ad will play while your time ticks away...rendering it potentially impossible to clear the level. Also, you may be focused on a challenging level, and then an ad will jump in and distract you...this doesn't help if you're in a "zone" or something. I have no problem with monetizing a free game (and why would anyone?), but the how that monetization is implemented matters, and the owners here have done a poor job.
