✓ Good but not really pinball and has issuesFirst off, it’s not really a pinball game. It uses the main pinball concept but the goal is to see how far you can get within a time limit. It’s interesting but isn’t as fun as traditional pinball imo. What I like most about pinball is those intricate little details all over the board to score more points and have other bonuses. The board itself lacks character as it doesn’t have those little details and the entire look throughout is the same neon TRON look just in different colors as you progress. As for issues, the accuracy is off and you have to be right on point to advance, most of the time you miss and when you do get it right, there’s a high chance the ball will inevitably fall between the paddles at whatever point you’re at and you have to work your way back..Version: 1.0.2
✓ PinOutI'm hoping the developers read this 'cause I come across a glitch and can't find a way of contacting them. When I start from a check point an ad pops up straight away for the premium version and by the time you press 'not now' the ball rolls past the flippers and warps all the way back to the start. Can you please fix 'cause it gets boring having to go back to the start over and over again and it kills the continuity. Would be worth five stars if not for this..Version: 1.0.2

I don't regret paying for it but at that price point, I probably will not purchase their next game. Music is great. Cool look. The boards are fun I've played. The physics of the game doesn't work properly and the more I play the more aggravating I find it. Since I game mostly to chill I'm already putting this one away. This is sad. I have a few of their other games and I continue to play them. For those who play their other games, the physics work less consistently and therefore somewhat less predictably. ✓ Hahahaa..... what is thisThis game.... ugh where do I start, well how about the fact that you have to pay to start from check points, PAY!!!! You shouldn’t have to pay for that, because I have to start all over again every time the timer runs out and I get pretty far, plus the game is boring, it gets you super furious and annoyed. Like seriously the only thing good about this game is the pretty colors, this is crazy. I’m mean why would anyone make someone pay so the don’t have to start their game over. Plus there’s no fun music either, and the game is just not a fun game, I thought it would be nice since it has some good rating but those are probably the people who are willing to pay just so they don’t have to start their game over. ✓ Waste on time and moneyThe game has 7 levels. The developer has a website and a form to ask questions. Only the nice positive questions appear and despite trying three times to get an answer about getting more levels, the question never appeared on their site and no response was received. ✓ Endless mode?I like the game but I’d really like and endless mode, because I want to explore the map and complete it, but I can’t really do that with only 60 seconds Plus the way the physics don’t really work get me and bit annoyed because I could get a new high score and I’m so close but the thing is when I’m going down and slow down it goes back up the hill and back down, plus why do we have to pay just to go on the level we’re stuck on, we could practise, but no we have to pay to actually get good at the part we’re stuck on.Version: 1.0.2
✓ Okay but does have problemsTo start with the good news it has good graphics, music, sound effects, and a general feel to it that you like when you are playing the game. Extra time is nice. The bad news is it starts out pretty impossible. All you are doing is clicking for flippers to shoot the ball somewhere. There's no skill or strategy or control. You should be controlling something else because the flippers shoot it out in a bad place eight out of ten times. They say you can hold down and aim, but if you hold down it just shoots as if you tapped. This game is overrated by other reviews so I was very disappointed by it. I try to list the mistake sin my reviews so this doesn't happen to other people but, I don't want to interfere with the sales of this app so I will say it has good parts and bad parts and it is up to you to decide if you like it or not but this is definitely not my favorite app and I am a little disappointed with it..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Promises So Much, Yet Delivers So Little.Let me preface this review with the following: this game is very well polished. It has fantastic graphics, a wonderful score and smooth gameplay. However it is also woefully tuned in terms of difficulty. This is not just a casual 'pick up and play' experience. ✓ Fun but not enough!This game is a lot of fun to play. Unfortunately, it has so few levels and is easy to complete in a very short period of time. It needs so much more depth! More levels! Further expansion! Perhaps making the “overtime” area unlimited (in terms of time) would allow for more exploration. Or divide the “overtime” area into stages (which it is), and make it possible to restart from each different overtime stage (which is not currently an option). Right now you can only restart at the very beginning of the overtime world, which sucks and makes it demotivating to keep playing when you have completed everything..Version: 1.0.2
✓ Ridiculously difficult but good.First few levels are good fun. Next few are progressively harder till it becomes ridiculously difficult bordering impossible. In other words fun but very frustrating. Great graphics, music, and sound effects. I agree with other reviews that ask for the ability to set parameters of difficulty which simply put means more time. 34 seconds for level 8 isn’t enough to not miss one shot which is hard enough to do. Also each time the app is closed or the phone is turned off the game resets to 0 thereby losing all progress previously made. Not cool. ✓ It gets hard quickAnother spectacular release from Smash It crew. Visual style and music as well as game play are spot on. What I did not like is getting stuck on level 6 and not being able to pass beyond it. After playing it for a week it just got tired. There should be more check points added or some kind of solution to be able to push beyond certain points or at least more time added. I love arcade games but they do not give you enough time as you can’t really move car or rocket fast enough to earn enough seconds. All in all I like it but I wish I can play it for longer and past certain levels to be able to actually experience them. UPDATE: got to the infinity mode and I was hoping infinity time or at least being able to collect time points. You only get seconds you earned in last chapter so sort of pointless..Version: 1.0.2

✓ Beautifully polished game - with an unbelievable difficulty level...I really wanted to love this game - I was put onto it by a friend, and rather foolishly bought the paid unlock soon after... but I can't progress. ✓ Fun but frustratingIt’s a great game that’s well executed unfortunately I find myself chucking the phone on the couch next to me rather than playing. That’s because the levels quickly become frustrating with constant ball returns (slides that take the ball right back to where you flipped it from) and too little time to move forward. Combine that with tiny finger buttons that are easy to miss and flippers that don’t seems to always flip the ball in the direction you’d think they would and it can quickly become tedious when not advancing. It’s a perfect game to zone out to with the it’s melodic sound track but the gameplay doesn’t allow it. I suggest a setting embraces the fun of pinball without constantly being under the pressure of a clock. That and bigger butting areas. That would make this a five star game for me..Version: 1.0.2

I initially thought it was just me, but have seen other reviewers also mention the same issue - this goes a long way to break the game • If you fail to hit the path to progress up the screen, it appears the ball's route is set to pretty-much always drop down the gutter (with nothing you can do about it). ✓ Beware of the red pinballsHonestly, the music and sound effects are amazing. I also like that it flows into the next level. What I don’t like, and what legit stresses me out to the point of regretting the purchase, is the simple fact that the difficulty level raises too quickly and the unnecessary addition of extra pinballs being produced within the levels that block you from moving forward, and all the while because this red ball appeared, I’m loosing time and I keep mis-hitting the main black pinball, which is so frustrating it makes me not want to play. ✓ StupidGame is way too annoying with the timer. You are under constant stress to make shots exactly in certain ways. This is less infinite pinball (which I hoped for) and more Exact Puzzle Solving With No Mercy. Missed shots just no nothing but waste precious seconds. Unlike regular pinball where maybe you didn't make the perfect shot, but you stayed alive and didn't lose the ball, so can recover and try again. Here any missed shot missed you may as well restart the level. Again. And again. And again. I bought he unlock thinking it would help; it did not. Try the free download. You know how you get to one of the levels but then you run out of time you can’t go back to that level unless you buy premium which I think is not good because it just gets baring after you do it a few times. ✓ Very DisappointedI really enjoyed myself on the first seven levels but that infinity/overtime level is completely impossible. If you waste even a little bit of time you won’t make it so it’s better to just restart the level completely. I liked the difficulty of the first seven levels because I knew if I didn’t make it was my own fault because I can grab extra time. The overtime/infinity level doesn’t have extra time grabs so you are in a constant cycle of trying to beat the clock and almost making it to run out of time every single time... You work so hard to get far in the game, but when you mess up you can't just try again from a recent checkpoint. The game takes you back ALL the way from the start and doesn't save your progress. It's fun for about five minutes, but I hate games where the only style of gaming is racing against the clock. Consider adding a zen mode where you can play leisurely for hours. ✓ It’s alrightIt’s a great game and all but the thing where you have to pay to basically win is not a good thing for the game, it drags players away by not being able to go and progress in the game; it’s the feeling like you are going somewhere but not moving anywhere. If you make like little things where you can buy levels that would mean more, I understand how you need to make money but only making the game fun for people who payed is a little overboard even compared to other games like EA SPORTS (ok maybe used a hyperbole but you get what I’m trying to say) make a little thing like tokens or “play for long enough and earn (insert something here)!!” It is good when you have no internet and get to play it but still the thing where you have to buy is eh, I know it’s 3 bucks but eh. ✓ Tronball? Maaaybe?If Flynn were playing a pinball game in his arcade today, PinOut would be it. I have to agree with other reviewers about the wonky physics in the game. This serves as a detriment in a game where every second counts towards advancement, and if there was one thing to get absolutely right in a game like this, it was the physics. There will be times when the ball will get stuck in various places, and all the player can do is watch as the ball stays put before eventually rolling down to a flipper, all the while eating up precious seconds on the timer. Not even a waypoint system addresses this glaring issue, though it does alleviate the sting of failure...An obvious and easy solution to this would be a tilt mechanic. This is a bloody pinball game without tilt. Can you even call it pinball? At least the soundtrack is amazing - dark retro synthwave compliments the Tron aesthetic well. The music and art direction are top notch. In its current state, however, it's hard to give it more than 3 stars. ✓ Very addictingEdit: I hate to say this game has become very annoying to me. It seems like they made the game so difficult toward the end only to extend its playtime. I hope it's an homage to the difficulty of retro games but unless you end the previous level with and exorbitant amount of extra time, there just isn't enough time pickups to finish. To the developers, thank you for making a game with no ads that you can play fully without payment, but with the option to unlock additional functionality and without being pushy about it. I get to enjoy your game then decide if I want to support you, which after playing this game I knew I had to. Not to mention after getting so far I couldn't start from scratch again haha. Although the "permadeath" feel is very retro. The only thing I would like to see is an option to play the mini games for fun outside of the game as well. ✓ Okay game for the priceYes it's free to play but I bought the premium for the price just to give them some support since the graphics and soundtrack were cool. I'm not going to add anything to what other people have said because I haven't noticed anything else different from what they have said already: I'm going to reiterate they need to fix the physics because a lot of the time you have to do a lot of aiming no...basically you have to aim ALL of the time to progress and sometimes you hit the ball in sections where it gets stuck for 2 seconds. And since time is precious in this game as you sit there watching, waiting, and wishing you had a way to tilt the board at that point. Other than those things it's a pretty good game I'm not disappointed buying it. To me I think it's worth it to see how far you can go then choose which level you want to start from instead of say getting to the 4th board and having to start all over again, so buy it if you like pinball don't buy if you like something quick. Oh one more thing. I don't know if others had this or it may be the same thing related to the physics, so the ball "cheats". It slows down when it's near a flipper. ✓ Nice designIt’s visually appealing but it’s literally nothing like real pinball. There doesn’t seem to be a zen mode or anything either to get used to the weird gameplay. Disappointed and won’t be playing anymore..Version: 1.0.2
