✓ Not a bad game.Reminds me of old school Sid. I like the simplicity of it, tho I do find some things are redundant. I have certain skills that I’m not sure are passive or not. Like repair skills. I don’t see any icons pop up for repairs during battle, and if I can’t repair during battle then what’s the point! I lose my ships! I would like to see an expansion on the skill trees. Captain skills, and ship skills. Also one biggie for me is that you can’t change your flagship! Yes you can change ships, if you pause, and scroll... why not allow me to harbor, and set fleet formation? Assign different ships to different tasks? Like defend, attack, scout, stay, etc... I’m speaking as in individual tasks assigned before, and during battle. Yes you can pause, and change some things, but it proves to be clunky and inefficient. That said, honestly this is just constructive criticisms. I really enjoy the game so far. The prices in the shop for the most part are fair! Which is rare in most games! So I didn’t mind spending a little. The average Joe might only have a dollar or two to spare, and this game accommodates that! Plus there are plenty of freebies to watch to keep you going. If you like this type of game I would recommend it, and perhaps drop a dollar. It’s a cool game, and with the suggestions I made perhaps may become worth 4 or 5 stars. Oh before I forget! Lol could we please enhance the green circles a bit more? And possibly add more intuitive steering. As it is it’s meh..Version: 9.6.1

✓ Nice idea, not enough contentI think this game could have been better if the content had been more challenging and varied. I have completed the game as far as seems interesting, I have all hidden ports, a large fleet of ships, so there is little to do. There are a number of maps that cannot be accessed, I have emailed the help line about this but still await a reply..Version: 5.4
✓ Pirates AttacksI’ve restarted my save 4 times to relieve the feeling of small ships and seeing ships bigger than mine. Although one of the few reasons why I restart is because pirate attacks. So basically once I get past 30,000 gold, pirate attacks start to happen, once they start they never stop. If you leave a port, to do anything except attack another port, pirates attack you. Although in the very early stages of the game it is cool. But if you are always moving from port to port selling tobacco like me with a fleet of trade ships it gets quite annoying. It would be nice if the attacks weren’t always at the 100% stat, because I know it is, or if you had a option to change the frequency of their attacks that would be better. Thanks devs if you read this far and hope you can implement or improve this aspect of the game..Version: 9.6.1
✓ Love it.I enjoy this game and everything about it. The ships, story, battles, etc. However there is what I think is a bug. If I have a fleet of ships with cargo in them, and I then switch towns, when I return all of my cargo is gone. It’s frustrating as I had spent a long time gathering them and I with for it I be fixed, and another issue is the ads causes crashes. When I set sail to a port after doing a mission, I get an ad video, when I exit it, it cause the game to crash and I lose all my progress..Version: 9.6

✓ Great gameIt’s a really fun and great game but the only issue is the constant attacks from confederacy pirates. Every time I move to another town I’m getting attacked and then I fight the battle and move to another town and get attacked again. I don’t have the funds to repair nor have the opportunity to even try and earn money anymore..Version: 10.0.2

✓ IPhone XRThis is my favorite game I give it five stars but I cannot play on the iPhone XR because of the stupid notch on the screen It blocks some of the controls on the side even if I turn the screen around it still does it because of the stupid notch on the phone is there anyway you guys could do is zoom in or make the screen so that it could fit the iPhone XR which is the newest phone on the market I guarantee you everybody that has an iPhone XR will not play this game because of the notch on the screen please adjust the game screen to fit the iPhone XR.Version: 9.1

✓ This would be 6 stars if not for the Confederates🤬Pretty much every time I leave a port, I get attacked by the confederate pirates. It is really annoying. VERY annoying. Sometimes I make it through, sometimes I lose a ship or two, and sometimes I lose some of my best ships! Besides that, everything about this game is great, and I love it. Good graphics, good battle, cool ships, and I like the aspect of making money off of buying and selling goods(if only the confederate pirates weren’t there!). If you please fix this issue this will be my favorite game ever, I will change my rating to five stars and probably spend like $20 on it. If you are a developer for this game, you probably won’t read this review. If you are a person wondering if you should get this game like I was, get it! If you don’t have enough space, this is worth more than whatever’s taking up space on your device..Version: 8.3

✓ Almost Realistic 3.5 RatingThe game needs to be a bit more realistic. It needs real physics, like the water and waves, physics with the ship being on water, and the water shouldn’t go through the ship. Also add some boarding animations/physics, when you board you should see ropes being thrown and then a plank being loaded along the other ship, and the crew fights with their flintlocks and muskets. There maybe more things but please make the game realistic!.Version: 8.3
✓ Great game, but money and new device neededAs many other reviewers have said, this is a great game. It is probably the best age of sail naval combat game on mobile devices. The expansive open world is time consuming but still fun. The combat is fantastic. Unfortunately there are a few major weaknesses that keep this game from a higher rating. 1: you need a newer device. The game runs well on my iPhone 6S+ but crashes so often on my iPad mini that it is unplayable. 2: the game is supposedly free but if you don't pay for the ad free version you will be constantly interrupted with ads. Incredibly annoying. Paying for perks like premium ships is one thing but paying to have a smooth play experience is ridiculous. 3: your ships don't do anything unless you personally command them. You can have multiple fleets of ships at different ports but doing anything with any of the takes time meaning your other ships are idle. For example, you cannot order your cargo ships to do trading while you are out a pirating. You can send them out on adventures but then you lose all control of them except for a recall function. All in all, a few changes and updates/fixes could make this a truly fantastic game..Version: 8.3
