It gave a few more explanations to things I didn't know before. ---------Spoilers Warning!-------------------- I loved how we finally know how the giant ships came to be. But then again...why did we find one in Omega that was destroyed? And I was happy to learn about the crystal ship. Hopefully more gaps will be filled in future episodes. Can't wait for more. ✓ An Amazing ExperienceI've never been a huge fan of the original Out There. It's a great game, and I love the concept, I've just never been good enough at it to get very far. However, I am a huge fan of visual novels/choose your own adventures, and I'm blown away by this one. I've never played such an immersive or detailed CYOA before, and it genuinely makes me want to go back and give the original another go. Beautiful artwork, a fantastic storyline, a relatable (yet cynical) main character, intriguing side characters and overall an experience that makes you feel a part of this vast, very alien universe. It has its minor flaws such as places where I feel a word or two is missing, (people have reported bugs/crashes, but as of this time, I've never encountered either). anywho aside from that it's an incredible experience, and if given a chance, you'll lose yourself in it, guaranteed! My only real complaint? It's not long enough!.Version: 1.0.6
✓ Engrossing story and beautiful artThe story is engrossing with intriguing characters. The art is exquisite and really sets the tone of the story. It's interactive in a minimal sense: Your choices can affect the story, but there is only one linear story that you can finish by choosing the right decisions. All other decisions either lead immediately to a "bad" ending or leads to a "bad" ending shortly after the decision is made. Which is fine with me, as I'd rather that I not continue to the next section of the story in an unwinnable state. I finished the game in a few hours on an airplane ride and wanted more. If you're the type who prefers watered down quantity of content over quality then you might want to skip this game. If you value a unique experience over an arbitrary gameplay length determined by the app's price then you should definitely play Out There: Chronicles!.Version: 1.0.2

✓ Amazingly interactive and well done.This game is amazing stunningly and visually. I enjoyed every moment of this game and wish more content will come out soon. Now I have only a suggestion. Sometimes you will mess up alien language and enter the wrong words but figure out later what they mean on your own. I accidentally identified left as right and right as left. There should be a way that we can edit what that word means. Just like type out later in game what we think it means. Just a suggestion..Version: 1.0
✓ Very good story tellingIf you have already played the "out there omega" and you loved the universe it created then you will find the "chronicles" very interesting. As the description says is a interactive graphic novel it's not a game. But it does stay true to the atmosphere of the omega as many times you feel the same pressure of making the right decisions fast or else you die. I loved the story and the way it is said. ✓ Great gameI had a great first play through and everything was fine. On my second time when talking with the president on the phone, I didn’t offer a donation and I used all the dialogue options, which I think leads me to inevitably get kidnapped. However the save point is after the phone call, and there is no way to talk to the president to get allowed aboard the ship, because of the save point I think. That would be frustrating if it was Impossible to advance and it was my first play through..Version: 1.0.6

✓ IT IS IN ENGLISH!!Read a review saying it isn't. Go into settings and you can change from French to English. Great story. It starts off a little slow, but once you leave "America", it's gripping. I can't wait for the other episodes. It would be nice if you could alter your translations of the "language of the Gods". If you pick an inaccurate word, you have to either mentally make a note, or start a new game and pick the correct word..Version: 1.0

One thing I’d like to point out to the developers however is that I’m not seeing the last text of many of the dialogue boxes, and in some cases I’ve missed important story because of it. ✓ Nice companion to Out There OmegaI completed Episode 1 three times now and am looking forward to future episodes. The developer has updated this app recently, but it has been over a year and still no sign of Episode 2. Overall very enjoyable; the freeze bugs which plagued the initial release are gone, though there are some minor dialog bugs (one which stands out is a case of the female character being referred to as 'he' or 'his'). The writing is good, though I would have liked some of the key characters to have been fleshed out a bit more and I'm hoping the upcoming episodes will help with that. The 'correct' dialog choices are not always obvious and a wrong one will result in death, but the automatic checkpoints mean that you don't have to redo a lot. There is replay value in checking out what the various other choices will result in, but overall the game is linear in where it wants you to go and what it doesn't want you to do. And, unfortunately, that's because there is (as far as I’ve been able to tell) only one path leading to the end of the episode..Version: 1.0.4

It's a pretty deep journey and ride without it. I think branching storylines would compromise that depth. Requires some not perfectly logical leaps of reasoning, but then again this is standard fare for adventures since 1001 Arabian Nights. The closest movie I could compare it to is Legend, with a firmer plot. $3.99 for the bundle seems insanely cheap compared to a graphic novel, and this was far more engaging.
