✓ All it needs is multiplayerSorry this is kinda a long one but I just needed to say this: I've been playing this game for a long time and I really like it too! But all it needs is multiplayer. It would be better if you could have multiplayer like in the computer version. It should be like two players on different devices connect to the same Internet and play together! Another thing you could do is have half of the screen one player and the other half on the other player too! Like a local device option where the Internet thing happens like I said and a local option where the two players can play on the same device! Overall I really like this game and I hope you guys add multiplayer (especially the same device one because I love playing this game with my I pad) but keep coming with all the good updates this game is one of my favorites!.Version: 1.1

✓ A Classic, Amazing Replayability -Possible Bug?Played this game since it came out. Back to playing after a pandemic hiatus. It’s amazing. So much replay value. I know the next update is in the works. I hope this bug or question can be fixed in time for it. Posting it here because Discord is not letting me see Rocket Cat’s channel and I’ll figure that out later. Specialist gets an extra weapon slot with the event Hand Upgrade (hand chainsaw) and is apparently supposed to with Cursed Treasure but doesn’t. This I found frustrating as it wiped out my Natural Shot and boxing training usefulness. I was hoping to get both in Endless if I had to, but now it seems it’s a moot point, or a bug that cropped up. Could even be for a new Cheevo. Man those Rare Events are well, Rare. It seems like there is a calendar progression for what is more or less like lt depending on the day of the month, similar to how Rare Characters seem to be. Keep up the GREAT work. Sorry for contacting this way. I’ll be updating this review (again) once the new update is on iOS..Version: 1.3.2

✓ Pretty dang good.This is really a gem in the rough for games on the AppStore. With a large collection of replay-ability, quality and a sizeable amount of humour, this game hard get old fast. I will say it is definitely a game you will like if you think that you will for just over fifteen dollars (CAD) you pay marginally more but it is worth it for the most part. It does lack with bugs and the sort but what it truly needs is cooperative play. Seriously, when playing on the PC version of this game it is a blast with a buddy. It’s too bad we can’t have it here. ✓ Best of the bestFirst of all the controls are great, very responsive and I feel like I have a good grip when controlling movements and attacking, next off the humor is on point and always stays to the silly theme of the game, everything about the game is great from trader camps made up of renaissance fair dwellers to progressive trait/perk upgrades and unlocks the more I play the more I feel I’m constantly getting better. However there is one minor issue I have, I’ve played over 200 hours in this game unlocking nearly everything except for a few “uncks”, Soon after that I get a new phone and decide to download the app again and I found there is no way for me to transfer my game data even with the same game center and apple login, I would absolutely LOVE if you guys could come up with a simply data transfer method, other than that great game 5/5 would recommend to anyone who is after a challenge.Version: 1.25

✓ The Greatest Game Ever, But one CRIPPLING BUGLove this game, play it everyday. But I’ve been finding that it keeps crashing after each looting stop several times, and it’s PAINFUL!!! I’m playing endless mode, got the dream team, and a massive stash of loot and on my 104th day, but the game WONT LET ME PROGRESS!!! PLEASE, FIX THIS!!! I’ve even tried offloading the app, but it doesn’t work. The only way I can progress is by not looting, but this will slowly kill me. Once again, PLEASE FIX!!! Edit: I think I figured out what the problem is. There are simply too many zombies for this game to load at these higher stages of endless, with impossible being a usual quantity and completely solid not being so rare. ✓ Very detailed, very hard!I feel like this game is as fine-tuned and crafted as love as it gets from the developers. It comes with a hefty price tag but honestly is worth every penny. The game offers endless customization, and replay-ability. There’s different modes to unlock, different traits and perks, and much more. The things I don’t like are the difficulty. It’s meant to be mega-hard but the devs need to understand not every likes games like that. Give people the ability to customize their play through difficulty and I promise the devs would’ve seen a better response to this game. Another way they lack is they have the perfect games to support mods, but I don’t see any mod support at all for mobile. While the games that do offer mod support for mobile are very few and far in between (I offer rebuild 3 as an example of a game that DOES), I feel like mods would make this game so much more fun. It’s meant to be endlessly replayable, and if you allow people to mod the game and the player the choice to choose their play through more uniquely, I promise you’d see a rise in popularity in this game. This has the potential to be like the Skyrim of mobile games..Version: 1.3
✓ Caught by SupriseI honestly truly didn't expect this game to be so friggin GOOD! The fact that the developers are promising more is truly amazing and so generous to the players. Rocketcat and Madgarden are a peerless team and, in my opinion, some of the most respectable contemporary video game developers out there! If you haven't guessed, i absolutely would recommend this game to anyone. Same device multiplayer would be pretty fun to add! ✓ Needs static joystick controlI got this game on steam after seeing peanut butter gamer play it on PB&Jeff a couple of years ago. When I found I could play it on mobile my eyes lit up. However, the current movement controls are rather difficult to use, I find myself dying regularly due to issues with movement. An option to fix the joystick in a custom (or even set standard position) similar to most other mobile games would be greatly appreciated. I find the dynamic nature of the current one somewhat confusing, and so does my character apparently..Version: 1.25

That might satisfy some disgruntled players. I also have some ideas for new locations and weapons: Public Pool: An outdoor area with a pool, bathrooms, and locker rooms where you can find weapons like foam pool noodles and pool chemicals to throw at zombies Park: Expansive area with benches and playgrounds, and a restroom. It contains various weapons like purses and tree branches. Adding rare night vision goggles would be really cool. Also please change the name ‘tree branch’ to ‘stick’ because it sounds funnier. ✓ All is great but...This game is fantastic I never have enough fun with this!! This is like the hidden gem that no one knows about but is actually shining like crazy. However the recent update made everything trademark weapon into machetes. Aluminum bat is perfectly fine where it is and I don’t think it needs to be replaced with machete. This goofy, creative, and brutally difficult zombie-themed road trip simulator has been, and will probably continue to be, my go-to time killer. Despite my 313 playthroughs (7 wins, 306 losses), the random generation of each encounter keeps things fresh, and the frequent updates continue to add new content. ✓ Loads of funThis game is absolutely perfect for people looking for a game that is long, sometimes challenging but overall very satisfying when you reach the goal. Throwing yourself, family, friends and more into a road trip apocalypse is just as fun as it sounds with lighthearted scenarios that can get way more exciting later on, when any event could lead to something as simple as a stat increase or catastrophic as losing half your team. To sum it up, this game is great and, ironically, perfect for those looking for something to play in a road trip. If I have one complaint it’s that scenarios where you make supply stops in standard locations (such as cities) can get a little repetitive after a while. Don’t read on if you don’t want to know about it. Cheaters, developers, we all here? Ok so when an unfavorable put come happens i.e someone dying you force close the app. This just takes some challenge from the game. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it happens because of how the game saves, it doesn’t save when exploring so, if you rest the game mid scavenge run it won’t actually keep the out come. ✓ I can't. I just can't.This retro styled arcade game really brings you back the the old roots. First of all, I'd like to say I'm dang glad that I bought the game when t was only $6. Second of all, I'd like to praise the developers for constantly finding new ways to revamp the game and add a whole lot more content. The gameplay itself is phenomenal, and I love how each run is never the same with the randomly generated levels where you raid and loot. ✓ Surprisingly worth the price!I was fickle on deciding to buy this game or not, it took me about a day to decide to go get an App Store gift card and see what all the hubbub was about. Welp, I saw: since opening the app, it has been ALL I’ve done at work ( calling on computers.. we’re encouraged to be on our phones playing with apps, for a few reasons) , and it has also made time zip by, which is semi-precious for an app to keep me entertained that much. Furthermore, I haven’t even made it past the first round of massive hoarding, there’s already soooo much replay value for me, I can keep on going- I don’t tire after a few times of being beat down by the crowds. ✓ Great game with one problemI love this game, it’s amazing, funny, and an overall blast to enjoy. However, there is one problem, not with the game, but when I decide to connect my controller. I use an Xbox controller and when I connect it, the game recognizes the controller, highlighting text that I can choose, but none of the buttons work, in game I can only attack, and in menu I can only click the option highlighted. ✓ Well made game with a few annoyancesI think the game is well worth the money, i've already sunk quite a few hours of playtime into it. Art, character creation, and random storylines are great. My annoyances: when you move with your left thumb, the center shifts around depending on where you touch initially, which sometimes leads to not enough room to move your thumb in tense battles. Also the random aspect pf the storyline can be brutal, like having your entire team just die through no fault of your own, or losing half your team and your car. Moments like these are frustrating, not realistic, and doesn't take into account any skill of the player, they just get handed to you. ✓ One thingTo the developers: I have your game on iPhone, but my friend has it on computer and I've played it on his computer. I love this game to the death and it's one of my favorite zombie games ever, somewhere in my top 5 favorite games ever, for it's witty humor, new events(I still find new stuff in the game), nonstop action, and the awesome character customization. ✓ Amazing game! But…Way too difficult on easy mode! Needs to be adjusted. I've played a ridiculous number of times and only completed rare mode once! Can't get thru any other mode or get close to completion. Characters should keep the traits that they upgrade when u use them so they get stronger and u have a better chance of making it next time. The swarms are ridiculous, even in the beginning! The game itself is great, very creative and I give kudos to the developer but come on and give us a break and minimize the hoards in the easy stage. ✓ Some ideasThis is a very underrated game, and it has an amazing amount of effort put into it. However, I do have some suggestions for the game. The first suggestion would be a minor change to the bow. The piercing chance should be buffed, while the non- charged bow shot should be slightly weaker, to balance it. The second suggestion would be to have online multiplayer between friends on steam, game center, etc. The third suggestion would be to have fitness or strength increase a point every 200 zombies destroyed. The fourth would be to buff martial arts to deal slightly more knock-back and have more range. The fifth would be a new trait that resembles a careless, loyal and innocent character. The upsides would be something along the lines of having good attitude and loyalty. The downsides would be wits, strength, and fitness. This trait would either be similar to oblivious or it would replace it. This is all up to you, of course. I know this game doesn’t update anymore, but if you do see this, please don’t feel compelled to make these changes. These are just things that I feel would improve the game..Version: 1.26

✓ Ermagherd!! Zombergs!!!This game is truly on of the best IOS games ever made. At its core it is an epic re-imagining of Oregon Trail, the old Dos based RPG. It has elements of great NES titles woven in, and I love the new update with the new lighting system, characters, and loads of weapons. The best part of the entire game experience is the fact that it is randomized - the game is literally totally different every time you play. The replay value is through the roof! ✓ Awesome👍👍🐴I got this game 3 days ago and I love it, I’ve already beat the game, TWICE, and there is nothing about it I don’t love. There are two improvements that could be made tho, and that’s multiplayer and making the AI loot more. I think it would be cool to connect with Bluetooth or connect to the same WiFi to play together and the AI would help you loot faster. Like having Hard difficulty with familiar characters, rare or super rare characters applied so you can have a challenge with on a unpredictable road trip to Canada. ✓ In depth Organ TrailMost games on iPhones can not compare to games on consoles or computer. This can is on all 3. One of the best games overall and maybe the best on iPhone. This game is like a much more in-depth and fleshed our Organ Trail. Organ Trail, was based off of Oregon Trail, But with zombies. Such a great game, I was skeptical to buy it at seven dollars but I know now that was a steal, and it seems so do the devs, because they raised the price a bit because of how easy it was selling. I would still buy it though knowing what I know now. No IAP so it is a full game with so many game modes, storylines to explore that you make along with your choices, and upgrades to help you unlock and beat the hardest game mode. With all of this content, I would pay $15+, but that is a little high because people don’t fully know what they are getting out of it. ✓ Best game I’ve playedI’ve had the game for a year now, and it’s awesome. It’s hilarious, fun, and over all a good game. I have some ideas that you might put in. My first idea is being able to make a customized character dog. This would be a fun feature so you could add your pets from real life. Another idea I had was multiplayer. This could function just like the buddies. But when deciding on places to go, you would have to select the same one or it’s random . My final idea was add a different type of story. ✓ WoahgThis game never ceases to amaze me. The graphics are grainy which gives a feel like I'm playing a VHS tape. It's modern and retro style characters and customizations are always great. The humor always makes me laugh with it's funny insults, names, and general humor. The general difficulty of this game is really good. Most people complain about it but I believe the difficulty is what gives this game it's replaying abilities. One game of normal mode can easily spiral down into a horrible ending while another give you a chainsaw right off the bat with tons of supplies. Cross platform gameplay on LAN or local play would make this game complete. An idea for the developer: maybe add an endless mode where you can go as long as you can without dying with difficulty increasing continuously. Or an arena mode to fight endless waves of undead. ✓ Amazing gameThis rad game is packed with random encounters and places that’ll destroy your groups’ morale into the face of the earth. You could find bandits that take all of your supplies, you could be packed in a tiny room while waves of zombies flood in and you know that if you run through, you’ll be eaten alive, but if you have a good weapon like a chainsaw, you can demolish them... But you might have left the chainsaw in the back of the car, you see what I’m saying? This game will constantly try to hit you in the face with a tree, but there’s always that whimsical random encounter or event that’ll be sure to make you laugh. ✓ Crashes a lotI love DRTC, I even have the computer version and have almost beat every mode. I just recently bought it for the phone cuz it's such a good time killer. But the only problem I've had so far with the phone version is if you pick a supply stop that's in bold red ( rescue mission, overpopulated area like " swarmed super market " ) it will crash after being on the stage after about 2 minutes. I've tried closing the app and going back again, but it still crashes. I love forming a team, meeting and customizing personal characters, and feeling the excitement build up the closer I get to Canada. I have an idea for a new location for you though. What about adding a zoo, or a wildlife sanctuary? I’ve worked at both establishments, and you can often find items such as the hatchet, pitchfork, shovel, or you could stick with wood planks and purses. Furthermore, most zoo animals or wildlife rehab eat the same food that people eat, so spawning food in would make sense. Plus, maybe if there were animals in cages, you could release them to attack nearby zombies, with the idea that they’d attack you if there were no more zombies. Some people have stated that this games lacks strategy and is just mindless pressing, but I have to disagree. The weapons you can find all have different weights, power, advantages and disadvantages. You can also let people rest inside the car and swap the leading character and his weapons at any time. ( I suggest the tennis racket and meat cleaver, you stun them with the tennis racket and when they are on the ground get out the meat cleaver) The feature of making your own characters and being able to give them different traits and perks is a cool concept, but in my opinion it needs a few more options. Aside from that the rest of the game is great, and definitely worth the price. ( By the way if you make Easter eggs about characters being "cool about fire safety" you need a Nes controller pillow as a weapon, I beg you! Only some people will understand that..).Version: 1.01
✓ I don't normally do thisHeres the thing, I never write reviews. This game changed that for me. Everything about this game is incredible, you can make an entire team of your own characters so it's like you and your friends are inside the game. The balancing is great, zombies aren't a threat unless you are mobbed, as it should be. It progresses at a fair rate and I'm never bored while I'm playing and this is my 10th or 12th run probably. Even dying feels rewarding as you learn a little more about the game every time. Making game overall, if you are on the fence about the price it's definitely worth it. ✓ Worth the money, plus it's funnyGreat game, character customisation is smooth, I love how you can make everyone in your family and just kill them off if you choose.
