In drive ahead players are rewarded with new levels when they commit to completing missions. However now it seems my late night binges of drive ahead are done. No longer can I play this game, my joy of long play sessions are stuck behind a paywall and I can only now play this game by abstaining from it. I love the new game modes however I can’t progress in them quick enough once again due to the unfair tickets system. ✓ Too HardYes the game is very fun. Especially the normal soccer and volleyball where you have to spend tickets. The real problem is that it is way to hard to get coins unless you watch a video. Also the fact that if you play the 1p/2p the AI’s are way too overpowered in speed and are way stronger than the cars you have. What makes me mad is that I can only get one ticket per day when you need like 2-3 once you get past the first five levels in soccer mode or any other mode. The cars you do get can only be good if you upgrade them, which of course has to be bought with even more coins. The weapons on cars do literally nothing. You can shoot another car fifty times and they won’t so much as flinch. I am convinced nobody actually tested the maps on minefield and race as many of them are unfair. Sometimes you’ll spawn right next to a boost pad which instantly makes you win the race or sometimes you’ll have to climb 20 separate hills while your opponent doesn’t. ✓ Fun gameplay, but woefully incompleteThis game is fun to play, but so many features are completely broken. This game has by far the worst AI of any game I’ve ever played on iOS. There’s a mission in volleyball that’s supposed to be 3 vs 3, but as soon as the game starts, your two computer teammates jump to the other side and help the other team. Upgrades to your vehicles also do absolutely nothing in missions, they just don’t even apply or something. You can unlock various car parts to customize the look of your vehicles, but good luck finding where to actually do so. My game is updated, but every time I open it, it tells me there’s a new update (there isn’t). I’ve been loving super soccer with all of the cool jumping rules and stuff, it’s just that whenever I tap the ball very slightly, it goes flying forward. ✓ Not great, but okay.There are some things that you VERY WELL need to fix. 1. Vehicles are unfair. I have been playing Versus against a CPU. I was using the first vehicle you get and I was matched up with a drag car, which is much longer, so they could hit the ball faster than me, because they could stick the end of their car up faster to hit it. 2. ✓ Fun, but it gets staleI remember first playing this game years ago with my friends all the time and I decided to download it myself recently. I remember there being multiple modes in this game. How’s there’s only one which is soccer. I’m not sure if I have to unlock the other modes that I’ve played years back but I haven’t seen evidence that would suggest that. It should just be called dirge ahead soccer because that’s the ONLY sport I’ve seen there. There used a football mode, racing, and I think I remember being able to somewhat customize the soccer matches. I also think it’s REALLY dumb to have an energy system for going against bots. Like cmon, I can’t even play against real people? I know there’s the local 2v2 mode or whatever but I bet that costs energy to play. The car customizations are also pretty lame but that’s just my personal opinion. It honestly really is a fun game but it looks like the developers have gotten really lazy and were doing these updates to make more money and improve the already great quality of the game..E.T. ✓ Update? You Mean Downgrade?This game used to be an awesome multiplayer game. Ever since the update they added a challenges mode. It’s not a bad mode but now the only thing you can do is scroll through the challenges with the new layout. That’s actually it. You just open the game and see a scrollable circle of challenges. The multiplayer mode is nowhere to be found and is probably an unlock-able for some stupid reason. I can’t even find any of the other modes like arcade mode which is probably another unlock-able. ✓ Alright (needs new gameplay)This game is fun, but i just want to play more. In the regular drive ahead there are mission stadiums so you can play offline. However, you can’t do much offline besides play with what you have, and when you start, you don’t have a lot. Also, progress is really slow even when you do have an internet connection. All you can do is about 2 missions, and a few matches in tournaments. I loved to play drive ahead sports about 2 years ago when it was simple and all you had to do was win matches against CPU’s and get money. ✓ Not Bad [FIX IT!]I wouldn’t say it’s better than the regular Drive Ahead. But it’s equal, and the regular one is pretty good. This one has more glitches. This version definitely has much more variety. Also it has more options like 2v2. That’s fun. I dislike the ticket system. Tickets should come faster (we can’t even see the exact amount of time it takes). The game isn’t pay2win, however, the whole upgrade thing leans it towards that a bit. One weird GLITCH I found (which wasn’t really in the game) was on the App Store it says there’s an in app purchase (classic character pack) but I can’t read the description or click on it or anything. I wouldn’t want to pay for something that I don’t know what it does. Updates: - new GLITCH ever since I bought the starter pack, there’s been this gray square on the opposite side of the 1/2p square. When you tap it it makes a noise but does nothing. MAJOR GLITCH: this glitch brought the rating down. In the game right when the match was about to be sudden death, I scored a goal. I feel like the controls are broken because the jump/dash would barely move the ball so I couldn’t score. And the cars had terrible speed and control and it was way too challenging against a normal easy bot. But the worst part is that it has nonstop crashes.
