✓ DecentThis game is alright. The idea is brilliant and the execution leaves a bit to be desired. I like the local multiplayer mode as I can play it with friends while we are waiting for class to start. I also like the variety and amount of vehicles in the game. The game is let down by a few things. Firstly the sheer amount of ads is unbelievable, it’s fine if you voluntarily watch them for a reward, but otherwise there is an ad after most games. Next, the main battle arena requires that you use WiFi, however looks like it’s against bots. The opponents have vehicles from 1000s of trophies ahead of you, so either there is no matchmaking or it’s against bots. Also why do you need internet to access most of the game? It would be really cool if you could play mini game mode and rift riders offline. Even though I may sound negative, the game is decent and will keep you entertained. ✓ Why would you change the gamePlayed this game since 2017, I absolutely loved the game and all the different maps with the different cars. I had nearly almost every car. The dinosaurs loved them, the gun are amazing. The game was perfect from quick matches with instant head damages. Now I return to the game to find a massive trash fire of what was once gold. They added health bars so no more instant kills which created the chaotic fun the game was known for, instead the way you earned the cars practically in the old version, it’s now a pay to win cycle and you can choose your car before loading into a match removing the once random fun of excitement. Don’t get me started on car upgrades, unfair that all my progress is wiped from the game and have to start over but I have a level 1 car going against 5s and higher? You can’t even say the change from the old game to new was a “balance issue/fix” you ruined what was once a great nostalgic memory of one of the only mobile games I played and recommended highly with a great word. Atleast make a new app with just the old game if not then just a game mode. We miss the old drive ahead! :(.Version: 3.15.6
✓ RuinedAd filled micro transactional mess. Ruined a classic game by exchanging goodwill for cold hard cash. New update removed accounts previously earned cars, because now you can painstakingly or SPEND MONEY in the shop to get them back quicker. Head hits are no longer one hit KO, so if you want to win more you can just SPEND some MONEY to fet more parts and level up, ridiculous. Want to do classic missions? Well the rewards are gone and the keys are capped at 5 so you can’t even go through them all, unless you SPEND some MONEY in the shop to get them back. I loved this game, it was some of the earliest and best experiences playing mobile games as a kid. But they burned it all down so they could monetise it. You devs wont reply to this or any of the other reviews saying the exact same thing, I doubt any of the people who originally worked on the game even work on it anymore..Version: 3.24
✓ Sad about new amount of forced adsI’m sad. This game is amazing! I love the idea and the amount of time I’ve spent laughing about a crazy kill with my friends is unreal. I have spent hours playing this game, and with the new update it looks clean and improves the game all around. However, with this new update came a change to the amount of ads in the game. And it’s just too many. Please lower the amount of ads. Put it back to the way it used to be. And to all the people that say it’s a money grab, it is. But it’s not impossible to beat without buying stuff. It’s easy. Do a bit of practice and it’s easy. Also it would be nice if there was a bot difficulty option. ✓ Rest well OG Drive AheadSuch a shame that this game lost what it once was. From the ads to the new wack seasonal pass. I played back in 2016 and had unlocked all the available cars and most of the helmets when those came out. Played the original soccer game mode and it’s painful to see all the hours I had put into the game vanish when I decided to reopen the game after all this time to 1vs1 a friend at school only to find ads none of my fun cars and none of my fun maps. With “the beast” being at the end of some road thing it pisses me off knowing that I owned that car and now it’s locked behind rng for the second time or a whole bunch of random mini missions. I understand that this game needed and still needs to make money for dev work. Im just sad to see the fun game that friend would sit around playing in middle school become yet another piece of trash in the mobile App Store with forced ads without purchases and season passes. ✓ Great game, but sadly not as fun anymoreI really enjoyed this game when I picked it up a year ago - it was always a challenge to grind the levels and get new cars. I stopped playing b/c of school, but picked the game up again recently on a new iPad... and boy have things changed, and not for the better. As a long-time player, I’m disappointed in how the game is now. As other reviews have noted, previously keys were only needed to unlock stadiums, and then you were free to play as many levels and try to beat them all. Nowadays, I can only play three levels before I have to take an 8 hour break - unless I pay a $3 to get three more keys. It turns me off from the game, and I feel that instead of incentivizing people to pay, it just reduces player interest. I don’t really feel like grinding through levels anymore because everywhere I turn I have to pay money to keep playing the game! Devs, if you’re reading this, please reconsider. I get that you have to generate revenue, but there has to be a better way. Make a no-ads subscription service or something - you’ve made a good game, and I shouldn’t have to literally pay to play it!.Version: 1.88
✓ Started good but keeps getting more disappointingI will not lie, I have deleted and installed this game many times, continually more disappointed after every update. The first change I was not a fan of was the currency spike where instead of getting 5 coins per round, you only got 5 or 10. I will admit that I enjoy the hot wheel events and similar events (such as the current rift riders event). However, the new trophy system is not what this game started as and it has lost the original feel it had. Also, I have made several purchases in the past yet I continually have advertisements pop up. Please make an update that either acknowledges past purchases or make it feel closer to what it started as. P.S. I’m also bummed that the soccer bundle is $50. That was a fun event, but not worth $50 for a special mode that is FASTER than a normal round of local, gives 2-3 vehicles, 5 maps, and a bunch of flag helmets. P.S.S. Why on earth do you need WiFi for King of the hill and missions? ✓ Boss GlitchThis game is great, but I want to point out an error. I was doing the 3rd boss evolution, and I defeated his last health point with 3 seconds to go. But, as the explosion animation was playing, the timer continued and so even though I defeated the 3rd boss evolution, it said I had run out of time and had to go back to the default boss screen. Now, every time I try to defeat the boss, it shows that he is on 0 out of 25 health but I can still play him, and when I do play him and hit his head, his shield doesn’t go up and he doesn’t explode, so eventually I run out of cars or I run out of time and now I can’t get the cannon cart even though it looks superior. Please fix this before boss event finishes!.Version: 1.66.2
✓ Update made it terrible.I used to love playing this game a couple years ago. It was so difficult at times but that was what made it fun, you only had one chance to win and if you got hit once you lose. It was very fun, but now the game is garbage. You cannot beat enemies with one hit anymore, you can upgrade your cars for more health which just removes the fun of the whole game. It becomes an endurance match instead of a game of skill. ✓ It could be soooo much better (please read this)When I downloaded this game I expected a fun game that doesn’t get annoying. And I also expect that it would be one of those demolition derby games that if you hit the vehicle it would damage it. But not a game with weird controls. Like when your in the air and your trying to roll it should end be when you press the forward button it rolls backwards it should be the opposite and with the backwards button too. And I HATE the fact that when you good you die. And that doesn’t go well with the weird controls. And I think your should add a demolition derby mode that when you hit the other vehicle it damages it and not when you hit the enemy’s head it kills the enemy. This game has sooo much potential (in my opinion) if you just fix those few things. I just thought of this, it would probably be easier if you make it to where you can change the controls in the options menu. ✓ IgOkay first this game is pretty dope but look I use to play this when I was little and it was the best funniest game ever haha but the way the game is now it doesn’t hit the same I like the way it use to be. ✓ Game is pay to winDrive ahead used to be fun but now it’s just pay to win. In order to progress further in the game you have to keep playing battles over and over which was fine with me until the most recent change, now you have to wait 50m for the battle arena to change. This change makes battles even more boring and rift tickets are sooo hard to get in order to like 2 you need to do like five battles to unlock the crate which has a CHANCE to give you rift tickets and pairing for battles is so bad I get paired against people with all level nines. Drive ahead used to be fun I will admit I like the new addition of rift riders but like I said before it’s to hard to earn rift tickets.Version: 3.1
✓ Fallen from gloryThis game used to be good but since they tried to implement a tiered car level which gives your car more health and damage its been a load of rubbish. You have to pay to get a certain car. Then you have to spend 3 times as much upgrading it too a suitable level at which your able to play with people who levelled up their cars before they changed the system and made it pay to win. ✓ Arena Mode Not Online Multiplayer?I have played this game for about 2 years with my friends on offline two player mode, and I always enjoyed it. I was happy with watching the ads, since I really loved the art style. However, in recent updates, I have noticed that the Arena Mode which was supposed to be ‘online multiplayer’ was in fact not. I got into Arena Mode, turned on Aeroplane Mode and turned off Wifi, and realised that although the red ‘Internet Disconnected’ icon comes up in the middle of my screen, the game keeps running and the opponent never disconnects. I tried this in over 10 matches, and I received the same result. I hope the developers make this a real multiplayer game, and not make me abandon the game, since I genuinely love the base game. ✓ Unfair but funI’ve been a player on and off for about 2 years. The reason why I deleted the game is because of the unfairness. Sometimes you can have 1000 trophies and be paired with someone with 2000 trophies, I get it’s like training but at the same time it’s extremely unfair and most people probably dislike that. Another thing is the upgrade levels. You can be a starter with 10 trophies and be paired with someone with 15 trophies but their level is significantly higher which makes it disturbing as it gives them an easy win. Lastly is the timing and “coincidences” for example: I was playing an hour earlier and the player got stuck in the saw machine and didn’t take damage, while as the saws came down on me I died giving them an easy win which makes the game not fun. I like a Game that puts up effort but not by cheating or unfairness. At the end of the day I can’t go 2 days without playing I have an addiction to download it back or open it up, please read this devs and fix the problems please and thank you. P.S. ✓ The good old daysI have been playing this game for around 6 years with my brother and one thing i have noticed was the bad updates. First it was the new way to get around the game I just hated that. Second the wifi issue why did you make the game use wifi, it was fine even without wifi, now i can’t even do the missions without wifi also, to access my cars I have to have wifi! ✓ Deleted My Progress (bugged)I came back after a couple of months to find all my vechiles (I nearly had them all) wiped, including the twosider vechile. Then I find I can only do king of the hill for some reason as well. Was a great game that has been completely ruined and missions don’t seem to give gold anymore either. Now can only play in offline mode, also mini bug report when choosing the random map it displays a random car. When you go to select a red car the heads are backwards and in realation to the shredder car the red’s arm stays down more horizontal when moved directly forward and in other situations, the blue’s shredder’s arm moves up vertically and flops around a lot more leading to great imbalance..Version: 3.2
✓ Used to be an amazing game until..This game used to be so amazing, I came home from a stressful day at school and immediately got Drive Ahead! And played all my stress away. The simplicity and fun was what made it a good game, but then it came. The update. I had quit for some reason because I did not play it as much as I was addicted to another game but when I downloaded it again, I played a game and it was all health, and damage, and really annoying because the glitches made it so you can lose very easily. Another thing is when you equip good cars it pairs you up with legit level 10 commons and they have around 2000 health and can 1 hit you but because of the really annoying danger sign (if the opponent is 20 health, they can take 2 hits and then die so it’s really annoying) you get 2 hit killed. It is SOOO annoying please fix it now I have to use my really bad rare cars and uncommon cars so I don’t lose every single time and don’t lose trophies every time I lose. I liked it when you didn’t need a level and could use any vehicle. ✓ Plz bring back the original 🙏🙏🙏This game used to be amazing with cool levels and systems, like the vending machine which you had to get some money then you’d have a chance to get a car, head or level and a chance to get different rarity’s. Since the updates I have lost all of my cars haven’t to start from scratch, it felt like a whole different game. There also was lots of different levels which I loved trying to complete and would give rewards for completing them which was amazing. ✓ Bring back the old version !I know it’s not going to happen because the developers are probably doing a lot more money with this new pay to win version, but everything in the game was better back then. One shots (meaning you only had to hit the head one time to defeat your opponent), loads of missions scattered in different worlds (you could play them all offline), it also was much easier to get new characters and cars and the overall features were more fun and entertaining. Drive ahead sadly turned into a "cashtrap" for whoever wants to spend money only in order to be able to play a sad little car game that lost its soul. Please bring back the onetap, the real missions, remove some of the ads and make the game fun again. I remember spending hours on drive ahead as a child because it truly was original and FUN. ✓ Pay 2 Win👎🏼If you think this is anything like the old drive ahead then don’t even bother downloading. Used to the main goal of the game was to hit the other player in the head ONCE and you won the round and first to five rounds wins and you would get coins and spins to get helmets new arenas and new rides GARUNTEED everytime. And even if you got a crappy ride after you got it you couldn’t get it again, it was just added to your collection. Now it’s all pay to win and buy the battle pass so you can get all the exclusive cars which use to be free and if you don’t get them you get the same exact car from the “free” wheel spin to upgrade your cars which is the dumbest idea implemented in the game. You have no chance of getting good rides and I constantly go up against players who obviously payed there way to get level 5 cars when my car is still level one because they barely give you any coins unless you open your wallet. So sad to see this game go from one of the best arcade games on the AppStore to straight pay to win garbage. I don’t know where you devs went wrong but you’re new drive ahead is trash and feels like a scam. ✓ Original game mode is gone :(When I first played this game I loved it, you collected vehicles and then would enter rounds being randomly given a vehicle from your collection, sometimes that meant you had a great car, sometimes you had something rubbish. Your opponent would have a random vehicle too and it felt like you needed skill to win. Now you choose the 3 vehicles you use so once you have 3 good vehicles you never feel the need to change. Why buy dlc? I never lose with my 3 vehicles so it has just become boring. Should go back to the old way, much more addictive and fun.Version: 3.7.0

✓ Big shameSo I downloaded this game a few years back, around the time when it first came out. Back then it was great, and I would have had to review it back then, it would’ve gotten 5 stars, easily. I really enjoyed playing with my friends on the bus home from school or when we would go out. After this I left the game for about 4 years, and as I was scrolling through my purchased apps, I decided to download it again. They’ve completely overhauled the entire game and not in a good way. The developers are extremely greedy, spamming you with ads after EVERY GAME in addition to constantly asking you to buy their offers, etc. The game now has a health and damage system (whereas before it was simply whoever hit the other’s head first), which plays into the fact that you have to upgrade your vehicles in order to deal more damage and have more hp. But for this you need car parts, and the only way to get them is from either the coin store (which seldom has any pars for vehicles you actually want to upgrade), or a loot box, or you can purchase crystals with real money to buy parts in the crystal shop (which conveniently has parts for every vehicle I want to purchase). The fact that legendary vehicles are now unusable because of the how difficult it is do get them on par with common vehicles due to the levelling system is frustrating. I used to like to use my great cars to annihilate people but now common cars are better because they are easiest to level Also the new energy system is appalling. ✓ Garbage Controls & A.I.My friends recommended this game to me so I could play with them, so I agreed to try it out. I managed to pass the “tutorial” with ease. I then started my first match, and wow the A.I is way too rough on you. Instead of enjoying the game, I found myself frustrated on how difficult the A.I is to play against. As a player who’s had no experience with this game before, I found myself just bored and annoyed since I could hardly even hit the A.I’s head during a match. The controls are even worse, and I couldn’t find out how to recover from being launched or flipping over properly. The left key would turn you right if you were flipped over, and the right key is the same (it would flip you to the left). As I said, no experience with the game before, what so ever. I won’t be finding myself re-installing the game until the controls are actually functional and the A.I changes by how you play and adapts to your play-style. ✓ Not horrible, but pretty cash-grabbyWell, when the game first came out it was fairly simple and the way you unlocked vehicles, headgear and arenas was also very creative and balanced - no tiers of rarity for different items, no duplicates and you literally got to choose the chance of you winning something new depending on how many coins you wanted to use. However as of somewhat recent, the system in which you collect new items has been "revamped" so that there's a set amount you pay to have a chance of unlocking new items from varying tiers, obviously with the more useful or even more fun vehicles locked behind the "legendary" tier, which at this point I'm convinced is only obtainable every once in a blue moon. Plus, about 50% of everything you get out of the item machine will be duplicates of what you already have, even if you don't have 50% of the available vehicles... Oh, the gameplay? It's pretty fun for the most part, albeit a little bit frustrating and tedious in some of the later missions. It's just that due to the extremely grindy nature of item unlocks, you're gonna feel pretty unsatisfied with the game for a lot of the time..Version: 1.77

✓ The fall of drive aheadI first played this game in 2016 when it had only been out for a year. It was amazing I was addicted to it but now they changed the it completely the best game mode of instant kill first to five stars. King of the hill was removed and that was one of my favourites, I had a highscore of about 600. You now have health (that takes multiple hits to win) and you get teleported back by spaceships. The best part of the game was removed and the game is super glitchy (could be because of my phone though), it always randomly closes and occasionally the frames drop to about 1 FPS. ✓ GlitchesGlitches It glitches so much due to the new update it is cooler now but you really can't play it for 5 minutes with out a glitch. There are these rift rider tickets which are hard to get. (You can pay for them) You can get awesome vehicles by surviving for a while. But I wasted at least four of them. I glitches in the middle of it. I did not get my reward and still lost my ticket it has happened four or more times. I am not happy and want to get them back. I know I will not get them back sadly. And even if I did the event would be over before it happened. The game is also quite addicting. Thankfully I haven't spent any money on the game. ✓ Too hard hardcore missions and daily skip missions don’t workGame is great, no doubt about that but once you complete the regular missions; some of the hardcore missions are a pain and seem impossible unless one had god like rng. Take “sticky situation” and “beach racing” which are 2 of the impossible hardcore missions to beat so far. You must pray that the rng spawns go kart like vehicles and then hope our car doesn’t lose balance or it’s head in both missions doesn’t fling back and forth and hit something. Furthermore the daily skip for missions doesn’t do anything: I click the ship button on the mission, watch the ad, cross my fingers that the mission is skipped, doesn’t do anything and says i have had my daily skip so I can’t see an an ad anymore cause a mission has been skipped although nothing happened. It’s frustrating for me cause some missions just seem impossible no matter how many tens of times one tries so I urge the developers to either fix this skip missions that don’t work bug and to make such impossible missions easier by giving better cars or spawning certain vehicles over others..Version: 1.69.4

✓ Used to be such a great gameI used to play Drive Ahead a lot when I was a few years younger. It was amazing. The missions, local play with friends and hoping you’d get a good car from the prize machine. It was fun, simple and a great experience. However, the devs felt the need to change that and they completely overhauled the game. It’s practically unrecognizable. Online mode? Upgrading cars? Battle pass? MISSIONS REQUIRE KEYS?? Yeah, missions now require keys. You used to be able to play them to your heart’s content. Now you have to wait about 2 1/2 hours to get your keys back. The online mode is super unbalanced and unfair. You’d be at around 500 trophies going against somebody with 1500. Not to mention that health is now a thing, which makes online even more unfair. You could have 200 health while your opponent has 2,000. The game would’ve been better off with the one hit to the head they had before. And the battlepass. ✓ This is just disappointingThis used to be an amazing game. I had completed each of the arena missions and was halfway through the hard core missions when I finally got bored. I decided to re download it a few months later to try and beat what I had already done but by that point it wasn’t even worth it. It is now plagued by ads, pop-ups, money scams and more. You now have to level up in order to get vehicles where as before you simply had to get enough money. ✓ The truthI downloaded this game when it had just been released in the App Store, and if I had to give it a rating back then, it would be 5 stars without a doubt. But this game, the developers of the game actually, have changed. Anyone who played this game from the start can see the greed that has grown in the developers. When this game first started, it was simple fun, you hopped into a game or a mission and the first person to bop someone on the head won. Now however, the gameplay is health and damage based, which encourages the usage of screws or bolts or whatever they are called, to upgrade your car. Here’s the problem. There is an almost non-existent matchmaking system in this game, so when you start playing, you are pitted against players that have insanely good cars, at insanely high levels. The reason this happens is because even though you are supposedly fighting people at around the same trophy amount as you, the game doesn’t account for people that spend money. You can easily buy very good cars and level them up easily with money. So now that battles aren’t just about one hit then you kill the other enemy, they are extremely one-sided. This is fine for common and uncommon vehicles as parts can be easily obtained. As well as this, the minimum number of coins available from crates has been lowered; Providing the player with less overall. The first is the “sponsors” I sign. There are many “sponsors” I get claiming to give me 10 gold for me watching the video, where some of the time it’s inappropriate, forcing me to be hesitant to play game around other people. Also, I’m not sure if I’m even getting the gold. In my opinion, if we’re forced to sit through these adds, give us 20 gold. Another thing that I think that should be done to make peoples’ experiences more enjoyable is making the rarity of the cars not effect the health and damage that they do, because legendary cars already have an advantage over other cars, and some people have preferences of what cars they want. ✓ 3.0 is a mistakeYou had a perfect progression system and then threw it away. To get far in the battle arena you need upgraded cars, I’ve had the game for awhile so I have quite a few legendaries. A was lucky to get some to level four last week before you made it impossible to upgrade them. If you want to upgrade cars you now need a duplicate. To get a duplicate legendary you probably need to open about 500 loot boxes and you don’t even get enough parts to upgrade it to level 2! The coin store never has what you want and the only was I know of to get gems is paying real money. ✓ Wireless MultiplayerI love this game it’s really fun and would rate 5 stars. But something I did more than 50% of the time was go on Local Wireless Multiplayer and play that in the car over a hotspot with my friend. A couple of years ago on the 4th of July we did this to pass the time during the entirety of the long car ride. It’s the 3rd of July, 2021, and we’re in a car like previous and decided to come back to the game to see if we could do it again (we’ve tried before and saw that it was missing) and after all this time we can only play on the same device. Not an ideal way of playing in general, especially in a moving car. I’m not sure if it was removed because it was buggy? And from what I can remember it would only bug for internet reasons but that didn’t bother us. That was the biggest part of the game for us and it’s been gone and still is gone. Who knows about others who may of had situations like this but if Local Wireless Multiplayer were to make a return that would be just fantastic..Version: 3.5.2

✓ WhyThis game used to one of the best games to play, especially with friends. But every great thing has to come with an end. I’ve decided to return to the game a couple of years after I forgot about, wishing to return the great game I’ve played. First thing when entering the game, the main “gameplay” is the battle arena. The concept is not to bad, but I recognized early one the path it will take. The beginning games are practically handed to you, but quickly become extremely difficult to the point where the only way you will win is with micro transaction. The main game I wanted to play were the mission. I unlock it and freakin, each level cost 1 key, which wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the fact that I only had 3 KEYS, AND IT TAKE 8 HOURS FOR A SINGLE KEY TO GENERATE. You also have the option to buy keys, but they are a dollar each, meaning the first world cost over tens dollars to unlock all at once the the entire mission levels cost hundreds of dollars. Why. Who ever thought of replacing the great game with this is terrible and extremely greedy. Sidenote, it’s also riddled with adds and micro transactions, just why. PS: I envy the kids who have never played the original game, so they think the new modes are good, they are not, they are really not.Version: 2.1

✓ Used to be goodThis game used to be fun. Short games against friends or AI, with basic progression. Get coins, and open a loot box with cosmetics or new vehicles. There were also fun challenges. But they completely changed the entire game. The gameplay and the progression have been completely overhauled, and they removed many elements of the game that I found way more fun. Upon opening the game for the first time in a year, everything has been overhauled. And as I joined a game I was very surprised to find out there’s a health bar, which, that alone discourages me from ever playing again. Turns out they also added ways to upgrade your vehicles, which is a much worse way to implement progression than what they originally had. Getting new, fun vehicles to use was awesome. You would pray to get something good, but even if you got a terrible vehicle you’d still have a ton of fun with it. Opening the loot boxes was always exciting. It was a casual, short, fun arcade style game. I just don’t get why they changed everything in the game down to the fundamentals instead of just making another game. I would still play that game, but I don’t want to play this one. Bring back the old game, and publish this as an entirely different game on the AppStore since it is an entirely different game. Edit: Matchmaking is also terrible, favoring those who pay for better vehicles. ✓ What Happened?I recently redownloaded this game and was very dissapointed to see what happened. Health bars? Upgrades? Brawl? This game used to be so good when it was one hit one kill and just a simple arcade game. I really miss the old game that was a big part of my middle school life half a decade ago. I know a lot of older players prefer the classic version and are very dissapointed with what it has become. I get that the game was updated to reach a younger generation, but it feels many of us older players have been left behind. I used to have all the cars and all the helmets and stages. I went through those 500 coin mystery boxes so many times. But now none of that exists anymore. What this is now is an entirely different game than what it started as. I think it would be great if you could release a new app, a “Drive Ahead! Classic” with the old version of the game many of us know and love. That way new players can have their brawl game, and older players can relive their nostalgia for one of their favorite arcade games. ✓ So disappointingI have such good memories of this game but it has SERIOUSLY fallen off. The online gamemode is just crappy pay-to-win and is far from what I’d hoped a drive ahead online mode would be like. Missions is buggy, like every time you lose after getting at least 1 point or just lose a match in general, the game kicks you out of the mission. AI seems worse than before, both more prone to just offing itself and getting stuck and for whatever reason, Missions mode requires internet? Why? It’s literally an offline mode. ✓ Stupid game DO NOT GETAll right let’s just get right to it. Game has WAYYYY to many ads, constantly is glitching or if you are watching an ad, the game will start without you so that the enemy already has the upper hand. When there are objects on the course at LEAST 50% will be bumped around turning them into flying projectiles. On top of that, most of them kill you or try to kill you as they are flying by. Also, whenever you are standing still and then you go full throttle, the car is CONSTANTLY trying to do a wheelie. Then you have to get your car back onto two wheels, but by then some over-powered car is already smashing your head in. Also, whenever somebody hits your car hard enough it will flip backwards, when you are trying and struggling to get up some dumb car is running you over smashing your head. AND, it is extremely difficult to get regular bolts in this game. And this part is specially for the creator: Next time you think about making some decision you think is smart; do the exact opposite. Why am I saying this you ask? Because if you thought that making a game with too many ads, too many glitches, and is too hard to beat was a smart decision, then you really need to listen to me. ✓ Very annoyingThis game is ok, and it is fun to play when you are bored, but there is 1 thing that spoils the whole game for me: I am up to Hardcore in the motordrome missions, and I’m up to the second last one, the challenge called ‘Flawless David’, where you get bad cars and you are supposed to get 5 stars in a row while versing so many OP cars such as the monster truck, and I just get cars like the pram, so it’s very hard. I always get frustrated when I get 4-0, and then on the last round, it’s like the computer I verse goes full on at me. It’s so hard, I’ve tried so many times but I just can’t do it. ✓ Game gone sourI used to love this game when you could play as much as you wanted however after a faulty update I lost all my progress and they went on to cap the amount of missions you could play a day. Now on a daily basis I get offered £10 bundles to buy vehicles I USED TO HAVE. And seriously! Are you going to run ads in between games considering everything is behind a pay wall, I get the point of ‘tickets’ or energy in other games but this is a joke! ✓ Very DissapointedDrive Ahead has always been one of my favorite games, even compared to some of those on console. I've been playing this game for years, and it was always very exciting to see an update with new content, like the robot or summer updates. Unfortunately, the new updates the game has recived have turned it into a supposedly online game (I'm not very convinced that its truly online. The matches have absolutely no lag and connect extremely fast, and there are no times when you wait for your opponent to continue through the menus. This is similar to mario kart tour before it was given an online mode.). Everybody I know who played the game before the updates would like it the way it used to be. Also, not many new cars have been created in a while. Instead, the preexisting vehicles have received new mechanics that change the gameplay. The invincibility for the fast cars is extremely powerful in two player mode, where theres no health to balance it out. Some of my favorite cars, such as the forklift and the egg, had cool bouncy mechanics that made them fun to use, regardless of how good or bad they were. ✓ Not every game needs to be a fortnite rpgAdding health stats and damage stats and then unlockable season-esque features ruined the simplicity that made this game so fun. Upgrading cars was also the worst decision possible. Cars used to be defined by their shapes and speed, the fun was in the fact that all drivers were equal. One hit and you were out. Now it’s a whole hit-them-for-1200-upgrade-car-to-do-more merry go’ round. The core 2d arena style gameplay is still there and you are not forced to spend real money. After 5 games I was but against either bots or real people with powerful vehicles. It was annoying being destroyed basically in every game as I just had the basic vehicles. However in the recent update they have made it so that a guy can only have the three worst cars in the game. You can pick his car but its a lot more fun when its random and not the same 3 cars. the reason being because if you win you’ll think you’re better at it and have more fun playing there for Play more. Second of all I rated this three star because I do not like how in the backboard where you used to be able to see yourself battling or like if you’re off the map you can see yourself they put ads on it now. I'm mad about that because it was really helpful for when you had flying cars. Also there are ads after every other local game and after every multiplayer game. ✓ InterestingCompleted the game ages ago and deleted it... downloaded it again so I could play it again i noticed something. For the challenge arenas...( wich by the way are the best part of the game) you had suddenly 3 keys for a challenge each after you had completed those 3 challenges you had 2 wait nearly 2 days to get another set of keys. Awful as I like to complete lots of challenges one by one. Now I can only do three each 2 days. Pathetic.
