✓ Fixing my previous review…I left a rather negative, critical review earlier, which I now feel bad about. I had only play the game a short time and was frustrated by the seeming and possibility of getting any further into the game without purchasing credits, etc. Having else been a good few hours playing this game, I have to say that I really love it. The upgrade system is deep and complex, and the ability to be difficult levels by partnering with other players on the Internet that's very cool. ✓ Please give feedback devsThis game is very great and I enjoy it a lot. One of the only apps I spent money on but I do have something I want to bring up. The contest is a really cool and good feature for the game, the only problem I have is the plane for coming in top 3 is not worth the hype. The overdrive is pretty much useless because it does no damage and it doesn’t seem like it is a plane you win for coming in 3rd to 1st place. The missiles it shoots are great and I do like those however all the rest of the things I believe need a little tweak. I’m not saying I want it to be over powered but I would like it to be a tad bit better then most planes in a way you know? Mainly the overdrive needs a big damage increase or something. ✓ Hawk:squadron leaderI’ve tweeted these guys several times to no avail. The latest few upgrades have made it very difficult to get BRO points. The stages are near impossible to finish unless you’ve teamed up with someone with a high level plane. I’m not saying I want this game to be easy, on the contrary. I want to upgrade and MOVE on with the Gameplay. Instead I’ve come to an impasse. I’ve been stuck on the same part for ages because I can’t get enough bro points etcetera to upgrade. I’ve given this game 4stars purely because (I can’t give the higher star rating as the developers haven’t collected enough coins or whatever). No i jest it’s because of the now much slower upgrading system. I want to enjoy this game which I do so please don’t sour it by making it UNPLAYABLE..Version: 1.14

Great until you get to the later stages when it's harder and you run out quick so you have to stop playing. There's not many games that stop you playing them if you want to. ✓ All about the crystals, obviously.This is a fun, clean shooter and if you play it enough the monthly VIP is as worth (sort of) - there are enough levels to play. Hint: Don’t ever spend “crystals” on anything other than plane evolution. Eventually you will get all the plane cards that you need just in game play even without using wild cards. You’ll also get enough coin. The crystals are the crux. If you have VIP it is a complete waste to use crystals for anything else, especially level continuation. You MUST evolve your planes though. The game insists you to use all planes if you wan’t to play all levels and that’s fine, but it also forces you to evolve those planes and for that you need crystals. Most of my planes have all the specific plane cards (no wild cards) and are just waiting for the crystals to evolve..Version: 21

✓ Amazing gameThis game is incredibly addicting and I love playing it because there is regular updates which include more stages, planes, bro bots and events. My only issue that can be alright and I understand is that they made it so you have to be a certain power to play a certain level which does get a bit irritating but it’s alright for now. ✓ Update situationI love the game, the different planes are great (although I honestly ever use 3 or 4. There should be a different way of acquiring the Acadia plane that isn't simply through the contest. But the game play is good. The contest every week is great, and I understand it being difficult in the later rounds but I have 3 fully upgraded planes and I can't seem to shoot a single thing down. My biggest con with the game, is the levels. When there's an update you're excited but the updates are few and far between. it seems like weeks if not a month since I've played a new level, and that gets frustrating. If it wasn't for the daily challenges I might never tap the game on. The Christmas challenges were pretty good..Version: 18.2

✓ Great game, but what’s the point when you can’t progress?!At the higher levels it wants 10+ green energy per game. So you get a handful of plays and then you are stuck for a whole day. Because you can’t play, you can’t get enough gold or blue crystals, so you can’t upgrade. Thus you just can’t progress. The upgrades for real money are crazy -some at £99. Come on! £1 or £2, but not £99. Easy for kids to get addicted and then spend loads of money. The game itself is great, but after about 30days it’s impossible to play, for reasons above, shame..Version: 1.6.0

✓ Bring back the assault mode before 1.7WNY DIDN’T THEY BRING BACK GEMS IN ASSAULT MODE IN THE RECENT UPDATE!! For me and many others, it was a main way to get gems in Hawk FS. Also, we have to wait 24 to 48 hours until we can play assault mode which isn’t fun at all! Why did you have to get rid of the reset ability? Please bring everything back. Assault mode is literally the best thing in thhis game and they have been ruining it. The only thing good about assault mode are the bosses (they are great). Assault mode was more dependable before the 1.8 assault mode update. If you do take this review into consideration, please know that I’m asking for a change and invention in rewards and reset mode in assault mode, not the bosses or the levels..Version: 1.12

They always hand out free stuff, you can earn the in game currency without having to buy, the music is epic, the graphics are great. ✓ “Cut Scenes”So apparently there are little cutscenes when you do a level. The downside is you cant see them again. I got to level 32-ish when you added cut scenes and now I can’t see any of the previous ones which makes me kinda lost in the little story that’s going on. Can you please enable us to see them again? Thanks. Another issue arose. Revive times are very confusing and frankly annoying. Revives (the ones where you call in backup and you get another ship) never come when you desperately need it. I feel like they should be allowed all the time not just random chances cause when you desperately depend on it, it’s not there. Also when you revive the immunity is not long enough. What I mean is when you are fighting a boss or you’re in one of those missile onslaughts, it just throws you in the middle of the screen and said boss or missiles easily destroy you again. ✓ Outstanding mostlyHawk is a great game for the most part. Really well produced and challenging. They introduce new play modes regularly to keep the game fresh and new levels to the main game are updated frequently, and there already hundreds and hundreds of stages. Spend limits on the different shops can be frustrating and do require patience, and the equipment system needs tweaking to avoid having to rebuild your kit every few updates but otherwise it’s really good. You also don’t need to spend to play, as the game does reward you enough to progress decently. Top marks for a mobile app..Version: 29.0

✓ Awesome game!I’m always looking for random games on my phone to play when I’m bored and I’ve learned I’m pretty hard to please lol; almost every game I play is either too greedy, too repetitive or just not entertaining enough. They also rarely maintain my attention. This game however, is one if not the best I’ve ever played. I honestly didn’t expect a game so simple like this to appeal this much to me either, but it has. The gem system is super generous and pushes you to spend money only when you’re really rushing to get something you want, not making you feel like you HAVE to pay for something. The game itself is well made and very entertaining. Being able to call on the help and answer help requests from other players is awesome and easy to do. Two weeks later they nerf it so it’s useless for competive play and release a new ship to gamble for and repeat. Something should be done with developers like this one. It’s criminal. When I level up make more but better side bots available. Also the main bot I'd like easier ways and faster to get another. ✓ Great free to play, true to arcade roots5 seconds into this game I was immediately reminded of an arcade game I used to play every time I would see it. There are a lot of games that obviously play to the style, but this game has really stood out for nostalgia purposes. Updated from the arcade, there is a surprising amount of customization for a f2p. The game isn’t overly difficult, but the max difficulties make you thankful for the co-op option. The upgrade system feels a little weak and lacks noticeable change per upgrade, but there is a long way to go to max out a plane. All that said, it is a f2p. Thus there is the option to spend money and bypass a lot of the challenge and grind to level up, but at this point in my time playing the game I have not seen a pay wall as much as an option to take the easy route. If you played the old arcade games and loved them or just like the genre this game is definitely worth a try..Version: 1.12

Sometimes when I crash, I pick a back up plane and then a pop up screen comes up saying 'new data received, restart required'. This is particularly frustrating because I have now wasted two lots of fuel and have to restart the game. Second is, sometimes when I request help on a hard level it says that it has found a team mate, but when the level loads I am by myself. I have beat every level in the game without spending money, just play as far as you can and once you get to a point where you can't proceed without buying more planes, play assault levels. If you can beat all the assault levels, which isn't too hard to accomplish, you can get over 200 gems a day. Might even be close to 300 a day don't remember how many you get in total from beating each one. It won't take you long to get enough gems to buy more planes. ✓ Great game but bad changeThanks for always adding tons of events and trying to keep the game fresh by rotating stages or bosses. How ever the new Defeat 3 Ace mission scaled drastically in difficulty from where it was. I don’t mind a boost in difficulty. But I’ve seen my ally’s and self includes just get killed before even reaching the 3rd. Digit boss and those Laser then spirit bombs. plus she goes immune a lot. Then if you make it to the 3rd. here come those pesky bee things blocking him plus the mirage of bullets too. Maybe put some of the new bosses with the old easier ones or lower the dmg the bosses projectiles. It’s not impossible it’s just a choir ..Version: 18.1

✓ Old school Galaga on HGH/RoidsBy far one of my favorite games of all time. Been playing about 20 days in a row and can't stop. I play a good amount of SUP Racing and there interface with other users is actually quite ground breaking for apps. HAWK could easily program a few of their communication programs between friends in the game and propel your actually playing with. How cool would it be if I could be legit live voice recording with the other player that I'm partnering with. That would be the best case. Make it so we can pretype our own responses in to a character max and of course to bad language and my goodness you got yourself something real special..Version: 1.6.0

I think it's not fair to make me wait(after completing the main quest with 3 stars) to make the amount of coins or diamonds or (pay for them) so i can buy new planes to compleat the other quest...I now you need to make money with the game since it's free, but not this way. ✓ Good game.This is the best top scrolling action game out there. Takes me back to when i would beg for quarters as kid to play games like this. The fact you can play co op is awesome. To call upon friends or others to complete levels is pretty cool. Love all the different combinations of panes and bots at your disposal. The only pause i have is that the planes that cost gems to unlock are way too expensive. I know that buying gems is a way for the development to make there money. Only two issues I have with the game are 1) could the developers make it so that we can remove Facebook friends from our friends list that no longer play the game? I have 4 friends that I can’t get rid of and they are taking up space. And 2) can we do away with the “power normalized” feature? I didn’t invest all the time, energy and resources into upgrading my planes and brobots only to have their power restricted when I assist a low level player. Might I suggest making it a “Protect” mission on top of the regular mission for the higher level player in that case and not restrict the higher level player’s power? Just a thought..Version: 18.2

Couldn’t put this game down before as I was always looking forward to buying the next card or artefact, now it’s randomly selected for me. Pretty much spending on stuff I don’t need. Not fun anymore tbh. However it is a very good and well designed game. Well done guys..Version: 21
