✓ Not very satisfyingPoints for no ads or in-app purchases. Nice design. However, it falls into a trap that many physics-based puzzle games do: some levels just feel like success is random. Some levels are really good, but you tend to get through them quickly. Then you wind up stuck on a level where you’re really just flailing around until you happen to win, and there’s no strategy involved. It’s a nice game ruined by the 5% of levels you’ll spend 90% of your time on, feeling frustrated and just wanting to move on. ✓ Some good, some bad, kinda maddening• The swipe to restart is annoyingly easy to unintentionally trigger. • The level should automatically reset when you lose the required objects. • The last puzzle of the first set seems to have something wrong with the physics and it took an unintuitive timing of the "leg" motion to get the swing high enough to hit the top piece. • There's too much trial and error for my tastes. Some puzzles become tedious very quickly. Some become maddening. I don't seek games to annoy myself. Otherwise, this is an interesting game with clever puzzles. It's simple to play, but still strangely complex and nerve-wracking. It does feel like it's missing something, though. Maybe it feels weird because the notion of direct manipulation that touch screens provide is defeated by the one finger trigger-only gesture this game uses. ✓ Starts great then becomes a bit annoyingThis game is great fun at the start because you have to think of the solution then execute, as your progress finding the solution become harder which is great, but execution becomes near impossible. It kinda feels that way at first, but by the later levels it lets itself down. ✓ Swipe to restartThe swipe function gets in the way of playing the game. The games are fun to figure out but not so when the screen is following your finger and is blue so you cant see your objective and if you need to move to the left from the right if you go too far left your chance is gone. It is a pain and ruins the puzzles. Is distracting and ruins your concentration. Like a fly that wont go away the page swipe to the left to restart puzzle is too sensitive and maybe should have swiped from bottom to restart game instead of the same motion as in game, sometimes ending game prematurely and starting it over only to have it happen again..That is my nicnameVersion: 2.02

✓ LevelsI started playing this game because my friend said there is unlimited levels. I got to level 9 and completed the last level (it was very hard) and there are no levels left to do. I now don't know what to do with my life. I feel completely betrayed by my friend and will never trust again. Please make more levels so I can gain my life back again. ✓ Good game with janky UXAs the other reviewers have described, Zip Zap is a fun puzzler that riffs successfully on a really great core mechanic. But the UX is dreadful. On the second level the game tells you that swiping does nothing. It reminds you of that at the end of the third. Why? Because it's a fairly natural gesture to use to try and manipulate an object on screen that you have to move. Personally, I think it comes to late. I wound up replaying the first level over and over again because while swiping doesn't move an object it does restart the level. Even once told about this, swiping is still hard to avoid - you move your finger while pressing and that's read as a swipe. This doesn't instantly reset the level but it does bring up a translucent pane that drifts across the screen. Which means that if you're trying to play on a bus, a tram, the metro, or even while walking, you'll just have this pane flitting in and out of view perpetually. Not sure if It means I didn’t complete some levels quick enough. Or what. But I only saw 3 worlds. No explanation as to the highlighting. ✓ BalanceThe theme and the fun ideas are really interesting, as is the gimmick and easy control scheme. So why the three stars? For a game about balance it has very little. One level will be incredibly easy followed by a level that is very difficult. And sadly most "difficulty" comes from frustration more than anything else. A few levels I just solved with figurative button mashing, repeatedly working the links hoping it would connect with the ball. The swing ones are particularly annoying. Not tough, just patience testing as you spend a good amount of time just swinging back and forth until you hit the ball and hope it flies in the right direction. I don't want to be too terribly negative, as I think that the concept is very clever, it just needs some more refinement..Blade Kngt.Version: 2.02
