Invisible, Inc. for Positive User Reviews

So far so excellent!Easily a favorite. Good controls, great play, challenging without frustration. Nice balance..Version: 1.0

Perfect balance of simplicity and challengeThis game has plenty of accolades but adding my two cents. Put the fantastic art work and design aside and you’ll find a perfectly balanced game. It’s the simple but challenging puzzles that engage us. Invisible Inc does just that. Not a ton of character modifications but enough to engage you in thinking how to approach situations. A handful of different missions but not a massive endless world unless you designate it so. A limited set of characters but with unique characteristics. A simple but compelling story. This is mastery of the art of game creation. Well done..Version: 1.1

Best of its kindThis is just the best strategy game there is. The gameplay is smooth and challenging. It can be short or long depending on how you customize your gameplay and is randomized so every run through is surprising and fun. Definitely worth the money..Version: 1.0

Let's hope we get the DLCIt's a perfect cyberpunk spy experience. Easy to learn but hard to master. I would gladly pay more for this game, it has incredible value unlike most other App Store games. I only wish we get the extra character DLC just like in the pc version. Let's hope we get it sooner then later..Version: 1.0

Amazing GamePlease release the Contingency Plan DLC!.Version: 1.1

Great game, but icon bugI am really enjoying playing the game, but I primarily downloaded it because I thought the lovely icon would look nice next to my Battleplans and DuoLingo app icons. Unfortunately, as soon as I downloaded the game the icon turned into an ugly question mark. I hope this is fixed in the next update..Version: 1.0

AmazingHigh leverage decisions on every turn. You must adapt your strategy based on what options your team is given, a bit like FTL..Version: 1.0

PLEASE FIX KLEI, amazing game otherwise(To klei games (hope u read this) I really love this game but whenever I reinstall it , it shows the loading screen and then just crashes no matter what I do, please fix this as it is in my opinion one of the best turn based games ever and it would be a shame to not be able to play it) (To a potential buyer) this is the AppStore equivalent I Of inception in that it is virtually perfect and incredibly intellectual , but if u may have seen above it currently doesn’t work so please be patient and hope klei releases a patch for this frankly amazing game.Version: 1.1

Very funI love the game, there is a learning curve, so be ready, but overall, great game, only had one bad game I couldn't escape..Version: 1.1

Stunningly good game and port. A steal for $5I've played hours of this game on the PS4 and the IPad is an even better fit. If you like Xcom or turn based games then immediately download this awesome game. Bravo developers!.Version: 1.0

AwesomeGreat game, Difficult but rewarding with plenty of replay value. Easy campaign is great if you have a hour or two to spare but then again each play through isn't overly long but then they aren't suppose to be, doesn't get boring either since each level is randomly generated and each play through you can mix and match agents to see who works best together and can also make your own custom difficulty. Hoping too see if the DLC from PC/Consoles comes too the Ipad in an update.Version: 1.0

Phenomenal Strategy GameGreat port of a wonderful PC game. I've no complaints, except I wish it supported plus sized iPhones!.Version: 1.0

So funWhat a cool game and concept, was hoping for more story and a longer game I beat it so fast.....please release more stages or story...people will pay for an expansion..Version: 1.1

Contingency plan please! Can we get the DLC also please? Too easy otherwise. Soooo addictive. Been experiencing one crash every other level. Fast loading times means that doesn't bother me too much..Version: 1.1

CoolLovely on my iPad Pro..Version: 1.0

So far an excellent port of a PC faveI love this game, and am so happy to have it on mobile. I do miss the DLC characters, though... Draco in particular. Help me help you!.Version: 1.0

PerfectionI wonder if this was a labour of love because this game is simply perfect, that can't have been an accident. If you love the Xcom series you will love this..Version: 1.1

Great title that scales wellI have been interested in this title on pc for a while but had not gotten around to downloading it with all the other titles already sitting in my backlog of shame. While visiting family for the holidays I figured I would give it a try on my iPad 2017. It looks to be a direct port of the pc title and so far it has been great. I saw a few people asking for mfi controller support and while that is always welcome it is not necessary imo. This title seems to work great with touch controls and being turn based it is well suited to the iOS platform. The game is great fun and has been very well received by the press on multiple platforms. I would suggest reading some of those reviews to learn more about the specifics of the game. One huge feature that put it over the top for me was how scalable/flexible the difficulty can be. As I play more games on the iPad I have been looking for two things. Either mfi support for action based games or turn based games. I really don’t enjoy touch controls for action games on iOS. The problem with most turn based games for me is I am relatively new to turn based tactical games and they usually kick my butt. Even on the easier difficulties XCOM has its way with me.... I’m still learning. This game has four or five difficulty levels but within those levels it has customizable switches and parameters for various events in the game. These would include items like escalating alarm levels, how long a guard will stay down if knocked out, how many rewinds you get per level etc. The end result is you have a turn based tactical game with incredible production values and gameplay, that can be set very specifically to the level of challenge you would like. This also allows it to be almost infinite replay value based on the parameters you set and the fact that all the levels are randomly generated. For me it has been really enjoyable to get started with, and now I can go back and make it a bit harder as I learn the nuances of the game. Anyway, if you have an interest in turn based tactical games I don’t think you can go wrong with Invisible Inc. on a newer iPad..Version: 1.1

Fantastic!Have played this extensively on PC. This is a wonderful port to iOS. Took me totally by surprise, but am stoked to have this on my iPad. You can't go wrong with this game if you are into deep, stylish thinky strategy games. A+.Version: 1.0

Good w/same problem as FTLFailing and starting over has been designed into this game, just like Faster Than Light. I call that limited marketing vision. Otherwise, I love this game. It’s just that after about the 5th restart, it’s no longer fun. Just tedious. They’re leaving money on the table with this kind of game design, in my opinion, as not everybody considers countless restarts as enjoyable, especially the paying real money for the pleasure. Plus I don’t care for Desktop ports that are not ‘really’ adopted for iOS. Using the mouse pointer Desktop icons, which are always too small, etc..Version: 1.1

Get itIf you have even a passing interest in stealth, or tactics, or turn based games, get this. One of the top, if not the top, premium games on the App Store..Version: 1.1

Excellent!Challenging, but has good replayability.. The harder levels require considerable attention span and focus to beat..Version: 1.1

In my top 3 iPad gamesVery tense and well thought out turn based strategy game. A huge amount of replay value thanks to the random level generation and different skill sets of the playable characters. To the devs: Please make contingency plan available for download.Version: 1.1

Great gameIt is a niche game but a great one nonetheless.Version: 1.0

Not easyThis game is so difficult that it gave me nightmares No joke buy this.Version: 1.0

Great game - wish there was more story...Fantastic strategic gameplay with well thought out mechanics, beautiful art/style, and a solid story. I'm giving it a five regardless of the one area I think it could have explored that would have made it a masterpiece. I feel like there is a huge missed opportunity in the story. It's clear the developers have put thought into the backstory of the characters and corporations. Like a strategy game like Starcraft, this could have been built with a progressive story that explored the world of invisible inc, and all of the various corporations it attacks. It could have done the same with backstory of the characters. Instead of unlocking them maybe you get them to join over time with all of that leading up to the story we get. Great gameplay - but having to replay the same story over and over gets tedious. It seems like the engine is so strong that some preconfigured scenarios that build up the players experience, flesh out the world, and grow an attachment to the characters, would have been an even more impressive approach..Version: 1.0

Great gameIt was great on desktops and it has been translated really well to iPads. Really good stuff..Version: 1.0

AmazingThis must be one of the best iOS games ever! Similar to XCom but better graphics and more exciting game play. Hats off to the developer..Version: 1.0

Wonderfully crafted game but needs more storyGood Job! Love the cyberpunk and stealth genres and this game covers the bases with polish and finesse. Now you just need depth. You've created some interesting characters that I would like to know more about. Go in a few levels deeper with this wonderful engine you've created. Eg. A relationship system between partners that carries forward between playthrus that unlocks story quests? Give us a a pot at the end of the rainbow besides a high score. Even something like banter between different characters in-mission or between missions would be welcome. Like an npc lobby mode. Immerse me moar in this world you created..Version: 1.0

Problem solved itselfGood game, recommended.Version: 1.1

Good control systemThis game has a good control system. It's like a turn base version of MGS..Version: 1.0

Wish there were more games like thisThey took the best parts of XCOM, The Matrix, and Tron and made this fun game. Great graphics, gameplay, music, and voice acting. They don't pull that pay to win BS either. I paid 1 time for the game and that was it. In a sea of garbage freemium mobile games this game shines..Version: 1.0

Fun, challenging gameI was very excited to hear that Klei finished porting this game from PC. One of my favorites, and it works well on iPad. Loading screens require some patience (on my older iPad) but once you are in the game runs smoothly. If you are looking for a challenging single player strategy/tactics type game with no time pressure, this is an excellent choice..Version: 1.0

... Wow...This is the best example of rougelike game design ever, I cannot believe the amount of thought that went into this. I hope for a lot from Keli games, and this delivered! Best mobile game in ages, perhaps ever!.Version: 1.0

Suspenseful…I came across Invisible Inc while scrolling through the App Store and decided to give it a try. It was so worth it. For an espionage game, it really hits the bullseye. The game is also very challenging but it’s the challenge that also makes it really fun. Five stars!.Version: 1.1

Perfection - need more though!Excellent game. Great strategy, challenging. Wish it was longer though........Version: 1.1

Must playIf you are interested in this kind of games (turn based, stealth, rogue-like progression), then this is the best one you can get. I hope they'll release the DLC as well..Version: 1.1

Can't wait for the next one!!!Excellent Game! It takes the Xcom type experience to a refreshing new level. Keep up the good work! Please come out with expansion DLC or part 2!! If you like sneak/stealth games....this is a must have!!1.Version: 1.1

Amazing, as alwaysOld habits die hard, and Klei displays it by making yet another awesome game. Invisible Inc is a stealth game with unique controls and a captivating storyline, and will definitively make hours pass by faster. The levels are procedurally generated, much like worlds in the Don't Starve series, so that means infinite fun! I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes stealth games. Additional details: ~Turn-based gameplay, so take all the time you want to plan your moves! ~Entirely customizable agents—equip them with tranquilizer guns to go non-lethal, or give them blasters and let the corps have it. Augments not included. ~Wide array of tools—you can do anything ranging from clearing a level Invisible-style to clearing it the R6 Siege way. ~Original version of the game is on PC, yet the mobile version offers the genuine experience. ~Fun. Contigency Plan DLC, please. I want to use Archive Prism. :).Version: 1.1

Awesome, like XCoM in many waysTurn based like xcom, futuristic corporation vs thief and you are thief. Somewhat silly storyline, but awesome gameplay. Great mechanics, easy to learn. VERY customizable. If you want impossible, ok, if you want easy peasy, ok. Play how you like... Thank You!!!!1.Version: 1.0

FabulousTense turn-based fun. You infiltrate high tech locations. Sneak past or take out a variety of guards and security systems. Grab the data or goods or money or imprisoned operative you're looking for. Then you have to get out alive. Plus, it has a story with high quality narration in between gameplay missions. The descriptions of the various agents at your disposal are especially fun..Version: 1.0

BrilliantI like a challenge, and this game delivers. Great sound, graphics and gameplay. If only there were more games like it. Klei also produce Don’t Starve; another work of genius. In my top 3 iPad games of all time..Version: 1.1

Great turn based strategyGreat game combining shadow run and net runner, with a hint of Xcom..Version: 1.1

A Great Story BuilderI always find that truly great games don't just tell you a story but build memorable ones through your own play-throughs. Invisible is one of these games. Besides the campaign story you find yourself attached to your agents and when there is an army of guards bearing down on them, alarms are blaring and you're dragging a wounded or unconscious agent to the exits while covering the doors with others...well that builds a pretty epic story in your own mind on top of the one the game is telling you. This is a great turn-based stealth strategy game. Worth every penny and probably more..Version: 1.1

Tense and rewarding gameplay (some minor bugs mentioned)TL;DR- B U Y T H I S ! Let me start by saying that I played the game and wrote this review on an iPad Air 2, and I've already bought this and all of the DLC of this game on PC and loved the game to death. The port is the full base game that I loved, but with no option for the DLC (to be added later I assume; after all, it has only been available for about a day now). The base game itself however is well worth the price. I've already reviewed the game on steam, and if you want to see a bunch of reviews for this game that already exist, look for the reviews on the bottom of its Steam Store page. I've done two full playthroughs on this device on normal and hard and haven't run into any game-breaking bugs, but did manage to find some small ones. -Dragging certain OMNI-corp guards causes them to become invisible -When staying in the "tactical view", danger zones don't refresh when a turn passes ~ But other than these, the game runs consistently and smoothly considering the hardware. I didn't have any noticeable frame drops except for once when I sprinted behind a crowd of 6-7 guards on turn 28 of the final mission. The game lagged a little as all of them played the "alerted" sound and visual effects, but I suppose it can't be helped with the hardware being as it is and this being a port from PC. So yea, in short, BUY THIS GAME!.Version: 1.0

FantasticBeautiful great game, one of the best stealth games I have ever played!.Version: 1.1

Great, tough gameLove this game. The latest update is 100% better for load times. Nice work!.Version: 1.1

Another great game by KleiA must buy if you're into stealth (turn based) games..Version: 1.1

Please bring iPhone supportI really love the game. I just wish the game was iphone compatible. Some big strategy titles (such as Rome Total War and Civilizations) recently brought iphone support. Please consider the same. I would even pay again to have this game on my iphone..Version: 1.1

My wish was answeredHoped and pleaded to have this game on mobile loved it on PC It is only better now that I can take it with me..Version: 1.0

Fantastic gameThis is a great game, and suits the iPad as it is turn based. Just a shame about the load times, but PC & Console suffer this as well..Version: 1.0

I never replay games. I'm on my fifth play through now.Great game. Fantastic turn-based implementation. The story is interesting (the first time through - the ending is always the same so subsequent plays render the story itself kinda moot). The random level generator keeps things interesting too. Sometimes your exit will be incredibly conveniently located. Sometimes, you're going to have wind your way back to where you started to get out. Keeps it fun..Version: 1.0

Plug in and playLove this game - looks good, feels good. The UI is fine but don't expect forgiveness for mistakes, particularly if your trying to figure out what new actions do and how to apply them. Also, this game chews through your battery - play plugged in! Still enjoying it and look forward to updates..Version: 1.0

Excellent game that would shine with a few additions (mfi, expansions)This is the second platform I have purchased this game on (first was PS4) so let me just say how exciting it is to have a portable version of Invisible Inc. While the learning curve is a little steep (your choices in those first two days DO matter and if you don't plan accordingly you will have a very difficult time on the latter missions) I find the challenge doesn't put me off to playing it, instead, I want to get better at playing it. If I could make two suggestions that I'm sure many people would appreciate: the expansion and mfi controller support (I got used to playing the game with a PS4 controller and just find it easier to use without worry I'd accidentally select the wrong action). I'd be happy to pay for both as they would both make playing this game on my iPad even more enjoyable. Excellent job Klei!.Version: 1.1

Beautiful game but...It's a beautiful game. It plays well...to a point. On the second last room of the tutorial, I created a loop where the second last guard will find me no matter what. You are not able to defeat this guard (in the tutorial) and the game doesn't allow you to move into the last room (as the tutorial wants you to observe the final guard). So...I need to restart the tutorial. This isn't the end of the world, but it's a pet peeve of mine when the tutorial is so weakly put together. Then, on the first mission you have to get the data and then get out alive. While I understand that you'll need to explore to figure out where the data is, the second part of the mission (get out alive) is unclear. So I just wasted my time presuming that I had to go back to my start point, foolishly presuming that I had to return there to leave. It would have been extremely helpful for the mission to tell me that I had to 'find a new exit'..Version: 1.0

AHHHHHHHHGET IT AHHH IT IS SURPRISINGLY HARD AND I AM ONLY ON BEGINNER MODE I AM FREAKING OUT I FEEL LIKE A FREAKING NINJA SPY excuse the all caps BUT GET THE HINT.Version: 1.0

One of the best!Been gaming for twenty years and this title is extremely unique and polished. A fair bit of replayability, too. If you’re into turn-based strategy this game is incredible value..Version: 1.1

Amazing GameReally sings on the iPad Pro. Top notch art, voice acting, and gameplay. People talk a lot about this being when of the best tactical games ever made for a reason. I'd never played it before, but love Don't Starve by this same developer, so I gave it a try. Hooked. For $5 or $20, this game is amazing if you're a fan of the genre. If you're not, you still might like it as it's very accessible despite having immense depth..Version: 1.0

Amazing game. Would love to see more content.I would happily pay for more content, expansions and/or buy another game like it. Having beaten it after a month or so, I wish there were more to this amazing concept. Please make more!.Version: 1.1

It’s a real shame the Contingency Plan DLC......never made it to the iOS version. I’ve read so much good stuff about it but have to but the game again for a different platform if I want to play it. Otherwise, this is still a spectacular game..Version: 1.1

Amazing and an essential purchase for turn based strategy fans!Easy to learn and play on the lowest difficulty but requiring ever increasing concentration and strategy at higher settings. It's turn based but feels incredibly intense as the enemy closes in and one needs to consider the risk against reward of staying a little longer on a level. Quick to play with lots of replay value due to the randomly generated levels making every play-through unique . I've played this for hours on PC, PS4 and iPad and I couldn't recommend this highly enough..Version: 1.1

Story a bit short, but with lots of playabilityThis is a beautifully put together turn-by-turn strategy, asking you to learn all the tricks to break into facilities, evade guards and camera, and hack your way through electronic systems to get what you’re after in each mission. There’s a story, which is good for one or two playthroughs, but gets a little stale after a while, and the capacity to set your own rules, and keep playing until it gets too difficult for you. The animations are lovely, the gameplay keeps you amused for hours, and I’m glad you can buy it outright rather than have to pay for stuff in game, but I’m left with the feeling that just a little more capacity and variation would have made this a much better game..Version: 1.1

Great game! Great fun!Made by Klei. 'Nuff said. I've waited for this to come out on iOS ever since it was released for PC. And it was worth the wait. Worth every penny. My only gripe was the really long load time for levels. But they just dropped an update that improves load times drastically. If you like turn-based play and/or stealth games, this is a no-brainer. Klei hit this one out of the park..Version: 1.1

BrilliantLove it. Best game I’ve bought for ages. DLC please!.Version: 1.1

GreatIt's a great game but too hard for me!.Version: 1.1
