✓ Awesome, except for....I love the Don't Starve series. Their mechanics and art styles are always appealing, but there were a lot of minor bugs and issues in this. First off, the missing names on some of the debris at the beginning of the game. Also some glitches in dropped items. Dropped berry bushes are glitched images. Secondly: the Living pelican backpack. The attack button always seems to default to him in a fight! Unlike the much cuter and furrier Chester whom only became a target if you held down on him and hit "attack Chester"..Version: 1.5

✓ Can’t see itemsI’ve been playing this game now for a little under a month and suddenly I cannot see certain details on the map or in the game itself. I made sandbags and when I put them down I cannot see them at all. Also when I look on the map all I can see most times is just the spiders and trees not the twigs, my boat, rocks etc. leaving me blind to just wonder about. ✓ BUGS BE GONE!Thank you Klei!!! I read somewhere that they were outsourcing the mobile port of both pocket editions, but had recently (like 6-12 months ago) brought it in house. Today they really demonstrated how closely they paid attention to their users and cared about their experience. I think every recurring issue I’ve had with the pocket edition was fixed with this past update. Just goes to show that tech debt may not be sexy but dear god is it the best thing ever to be an end user and feel like a company cares about your experience. THANK YOU!!!.Version: 1.84

✓ General overview.Exactly what you'd expect. Don't Starve but at the ocean. Very expansive with a lot of new stuff added in. However it's in dire need of an update at this current build. Frame rate drops, game crashes, doesn't save properly. As for in other bugs at the moment Packim Baggims (Shipwreaked version of Chester) is registered as a hostile, I've killed him twice accidentally while trying to fight off hounds..Version: 1.1

I have a relatively new iPhone 6S Plus and this is the only App on it which makes my phone get really hot and the battery drain really fast. Since this doesn't happen when using any other Apps (including games) I worry if this game might cause damage to my phone. ✓ Great, but bugs.I love this game. Very fun. There is the one bug in particular the is VERY VERY annoying. I don’t know how you really activate the bug, something to do with using the inventory and moving items, but when it happens the character just completely freezes. You can’t move, use items, craft items, use the map, or do anything. All you can do is zoom out, which is kinda weird. You can’t even save and quit to the main menu, so I am forced to exit out of the whole game and when I go back in, usually a lot of progress is lost, about a whole day. However, I now noticed the supply list at the bottom of the screen overlaps with the map and rotation controls so I can no longer click on my hats and costs being worn. Also the attach and repeat function buttons overlap with items in the world such as pots and other objects making the gameplay more tedious and not as fun. There should be an option to remove the attack/collect/repeat buttons from the screen. I know the programmers probably made changes like the joystick and the buttons to help plays but don’t get why the joystick can be removed but not the buttons. Also the issue with the overlapping rotation buttons and items being worn is very annoying. Please fix!!.Version: 1.84

✓ Amazing. Bugs though. Updates???I’ve been playing this for weeks on end. Got quite good at it. But this app just isn’t being updated. Someone mentioned the freezing bug in June and that happens to me all the time. You can’t tap on anything, usually happens when you tap into your inventory/backpack. I either wait for the auto save, or if it gets dark before then, restart the app and lose all my progress. It happens all the time. If it gets dark before the auto save, I’d die. Other bugs include the dug up berry bush graphic, a really annoying bug where the top three slots of any open chest feature are cut off by the top of the screen - especially frustrating with the chest that the Yaarctopus gives you. The top slot is completely off screen and you literally have about a millimetre space to try and drag it down to see what’s there. Luckily the golden key is normally in the second slot down! But every time I open a normal chest and I need to drag something from the top slots, it kicks off the iOS drop down menu and then you can’t touch anything until that little iOS feature disappears. At the moment, the game I’ve been playing for about a month has somehow bugged the shark/hound cycle - and whilst I shouldn’t complain too much, every time I hear them coming, only one arrives each time. Which is all good and well, but I like a good shark fin hat, and hounds teeth make the sewing kits I need - so it’s difficult to get those items with just one at a time. But at least they don’t mob me and kill me! The playability of this game far outweighs these issues though. It is absolutely awesome and has eaten my life in a good way. The freezing up is by far the main issue here. The others I can live with. I hope there’s an update soon....?.Version: 1.5

✓ A great port, with a few issuesFirst up, this is the Don't Starve you know and love. For those who are unfamiliar, it's a survival game. You collect items and craft stuff to stay alive. If you die, you start again. I'm a bit of a fan of this type of game, as you have to learn really quickly what's necessary for survival. This release brings a much more open world, with large land masses and bodies of water to travel across. My only gripe with this particular release is the really (really, really) long world generation time at the start. If it's taking too long, I've found that going to the home screen and back into the app seems to kick it into gear and it loads up right away. In all, really happy with my purchase 😊.Version: 1.0

I could swear I checked the update notes every time because I'm one of the weirdos who actually like the iOS interface a lot, and I've been really sad that I couldn't play Shipwrecked on iOS because the Home Sea Home content is so, so important. So, yay! It's here at last! (Although it looks like some minor things are still a bit buggy -- Walani's descriptions of most of the new content are "It's a...thing", which is afaik the default "oops, we forgot to put in a description of this" description -- and the edge-of-the-map endless loop bug is still there.) Update: After finally unlocking completing the quest to free Woodlegs and unlock his character, I was feeling triumphant! So it was really crushing to discover that his exclusive boat cannon doesn't work on mobile. I love this game, but the bugs in this port can get you down..Version: 1.84

✓ A Few ProblemsThe game gives you all Don’t Starve Reign of Giants characters without effort put forth. I find that ridiculously. I think it would be nice if you had a game on the phone called DS collision. Where it has all expansions in one. And when playing on Don’t starve reign of giants you would unlock DS characters. But to unlock shipwrecks characters you must play on shipwrecked. Like 8 days on reign of giants is willow. But eight days on shipwrecked is Walani. Also the same would apply for don’t starve hamlet. So maybe just a configuration of the game dlcs. And you could choose together as well. With together you would be given all new characters with it. I’d say a good price is $10-$12 dollars for being mobile. But I’d pay most at $17..Version: 1.72

Don’t Starve and Shipwrecked are the ONLY games that I own on three different platforms (PC, iPhone, and XBox1) because I love being able to play the different versions and have it in my pocket for free time or marathons at home on PC or Xbox. But when I’m playing on mobile, it’s incredibly easy for real life to distract me and for my character to die. That stinks. Wish you had an actual "sandbox" mode so that you can't die(a casual mode). clothing that you can wear with the packs, it's so annoying that I have to choose between wearing a jacket or my backpack. Also more types of houses for your player to build to live in that doesn't just have a handful of uses before it's destroyed, like different cabins made from all types of material, maybe a stone house that volcanoes or fire can't destroy, or one that you can constantly upgrade to make stronger or last longer. Maybe a story line with the game so we know what the goal is besides the goal to survive, maybe village people/animals that we can do quests for in order to get gears, gem stones, or other rarities. That was a few years ago, now I’m playing this game every other day since getting the hang of things. I’ve been playing and getting involved with the world lore and doing tons of traveling. As much as I’ve been enjoying this game, biggest issue is when taking a shortcut by going off the edge of the map. Your character gets to the other side but will then go back and forth between one edge to another, trapping you in a mentally degrading loop (in game) and by the time you’re free from it, your character is on the brink of insanity. ✓ Great game, difficult to control. No Wigfrid.In short, if you like the original Don’t Starve game, you’ll like this one too. The only thing that keeps this game from getting 5 stars is that the controls are a bit finicky... it’s fine when you’re just walking around the world, gathering and building things, but it’s a nightmare when you’re fighting an enemy, especially when there’s a lot of trees in the way. Your character will just stand still, making some comment about the tree you just clicked on, while some monster chomps away at him! It’s especially bad since a lot of the fighting requires you to hit the enemy a couple times before running a small distance away to dodge their attack. You need to make sure you’re in a wide open space to fight anything effectively. Also, you can’t play as Wigfrid (my favorite character), so you can’t just tank the enemy attacks..Version: 1.63

I reckon you should add in a multiplayer feature so say you're with you're friend and he has the game too you can both play so one person can collect materials while the other person can build a base and you could see each other on the screen. ✓ Please add No sweat...So when I started playing don’t starve pocket edition shipwrecked I found out that there was no “No sweat” or classic gameplay choice... and that really bugs me... because I’ve died hundreds upon hundreds of times... I understand that shipwrecked would be hard to add a respawn system to... but mabye you could add a statue on every island that you have to touch to respawn from that particular statue... please Klei, please... Otherwise mabye you should make the meat effigies cheaper to make... But nevertheless it’s a great game :) and challenging too! ✓ Packin bagginsThe annoying packing baggins is always in the way when i want to fight.. the character puts packing baggins over the enemys and goes automatically and attack packing baggins. why would we want to attack packing baggings over the enemys? i have to leave packing baggins like a mile away when i want to fight even a spider because packing baggins is the first thing my character attacks. this doesn't happen with chester unless you long press and select attack, make the enemies priority. also, when using the hammer destroying things like crates or pigheads is automatic in DS why do i have to long press on everything i want to destroy? is annoying on my little screen i play on my iphone. other than that the game is gorgeous. i'm losing sleep playing it, good job!.Version: 1.5
✓ What happened to “No Sweat”?I really enjoy this game, and love to sail on the open seas, but what happened to No Sweat? Back in the normal Don’t starve: pocket addition we had No Sweat, where we could explore the world without having to worry about Hounds or night. But then it all vanished here! I think multiplayer would well due to the fact everybody has there phone on them for most of the day. Not had any problems with it crashing like other users but it does drain the battery rather! Few mins to load the start of a new game initially but so what. ✓ Good, but needs improvementThe game itself is great. I’m having a lot of fun so far, and I also really appreciate that all the base game characters are already unlocked. However, the graphics could use some work. The stat bars look way more blurry than in the original game, and the characters looks kind of like they’ve been drawn in MS paint.
