✓ Amazing!The game is overall great. Controls take some time to get used to, but I haven’t noticed any major bugs or glitches other than sometimes the app will close out on me sometimes(However, theres a possibility thats just my phone). All in all amazing and fulfilling gameplay!.Version: 1.0

✓ The best game ever!!Hi don’t starve is a amazing game! Because you get to play in a open world and look around to find resources. But you might get hungry so you got to eat too. Also you need to avoid all the monsters to not get killed. And don’t go insane because monsters will start to kill you but you can’t start getting resources all day it has a day and night cycle. But this game does have a few bugs if you harvest a berry bush that is fully grown then it starts to glitch out. When you go in a cave sometimes your players will glitch for no reason that one time it happened it killed me for no reason the other than that this game is super fun I play it almost every day!!!.Version: 1.0.2

✓ The best game on the Apple Arcade platform, and maybe even the best of all time!This game is amazing! Now, it’s not as good as Don’t starve together…but this one is outstanding. I was insanely overjoyed when I heard that you could also get don’t starve on mobile. (Even though this was the first version but I had don’t starve together at the time) The game mechanics are insanely easy to master! And there is always something new to do! Got the science machine? Time to get the alchemy engine! Got it? Time to get the prehistilitator! Got it? Time to get- you know what I mean… The game is quite fun itself and the characters are bright and adorable! (Well…most of them,) I was kinda bummed this wasn’t multiplayer…but I have don’t starve together so it’s ok.. -So yeah it’s pretty good! There are a few glitches that have only happened to me once in a blue moon…but it’s because they are always being fixed. Before I close I just wanna say Klei is amazing. ✓ I haven’t played enough to give a full review butI like the game because of its Minecraft like stuff like exploring a world surviving but one downside to the game is since you start with Wilson and not other characters like Willow he doesn’t get any even a single ability or item like how Willow gets Bernie and Willows lighter if you gave Wilson something like that he would be a lot better to play as. Worth anyones time!So, this is legitimately perfect, I just have a couple ideas for the game: Character: Quint ( I’m sorry it doesn’t have a W) Is a werewolf in secret can befriend hounds starts with three or less hound teeth. In werewolf state can see in the dark maybe? Or maybe comfy with the dark? But here is his story: Growing up, Quint was bullied and made fun of for his thought that ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and other mythical creatures were real. So he went out to live in the woods. As he explored the woods, he heard strange sounds one day. He walked towards it, then saw a radio. It was nighttime, and then he heard growling. He was bitten by a mysterious monster, and then he is pulled through a portal to the constant. As he enters the constant, the clouds disperse, the moon is full, and he becomes a werewolf. He looks at himself, and is afraid. He tries to run from himself, and ends up standing in front of a hound mound. The hounds greet him and try to be with Quint. Eventually, he rests with them. ✓ Beefalo spawning as deadI adore this game, and I love the mobile pocket version updates in the + arcade version. However, I have generated two worlds, and so far, all the beefalo spawn as dead. I wander the Savannah biome on the first day, and instead of finding beefalo, I find piles of their loot drops: meat, wool, and horns. There is nothing around them that could have possibly killed them. Is this a glitch with this version of the game? Please fix!.Version: 1.0
✓ I wish I would’ve discovered this game sooner!!!Holy crap this game rocks!! I don’t know where to begin sharing what all I like about this game. It’s the perfect combination of difficulty and adventure. It’s a consistent challenge and no matter how many times you start over, there’s always something different and new to discover and create. ✓ Beefalo are cuteThe beefalo are probably lines of coding but they are very cute its so cool how they just walk around the savanna biome but in mating season there are dangers and the baby beefalo are relatable to real life baby buffalo also you can ride the beefalo which is very cool in my opinion. I have died because of me tapping somewhere to run away from a spider in a forest, but going to a tree and trying to chop it down instead. ✓ Phenomenal game slightly hindered by bugsThe game is one of the best experiences on iOS, providing you are using a Bluetooth controller as the touch controls limit combat gameplay. Unfortunately I’ve run into a few crashes lately; namely, entering cave depths 2 for the first time will crash the game (this can be circumvented by quickly saving and quitting as you enter, then reloading) and now I’m receiving a Lua error stack trace back being close to my base. I’m not sure what’s causing this one, though it seems to reoccur after ~10 in-game hours. I hope the developers will continue to iron out these crashes, they seem to be on the ball!.Version: 1.0.3

✓ Upgrade tearsI might cry right now. I had the old iPhone 8 and was grooving on this game- just killingly it and about to conquer the first of 5 adventure modes. My phone company offered me a good deal on the iPhone 13 and after switching phones: now it’s just freezing, slowing down, shutting down unexpectedly and very difficult to control. I went to search for an update and didn’t find anything, but I’m hoping for bug fixes soon, that go with my new operating system. Many tears. ✓ Pretty much best game of all time does a great job moving to mobileIt’s a fabulous game in terms on content, but the ipad UI is very good. It’s extra good on PC, but does surprisingly well as a mobile port. Great path finding, no annoying on screen controller thing, multiple ways of doing the same thing either through directly touching the object of your action or by touching on screen buttons. You can move wherever either by holding or tapping a spot or automatically based on an action. It’s harder to fight, but very doable. Really the only thing that it “lacks” is customizability from the Steam Workshop mods. Also, hopefully they will port Hamlet eventually!.Version: 1.1.0

You cant play a game for longer than 2 minutes without freezing. What I really like about the controls is that the developers only added two new buttons, and you don’t even need to use them! I’m so tired of company’s bombarding there games with buttons and other things making it so that only 50% of the screen is the actual game. But for this the two buttons are not only medium sized, they are in the top right corner! (Aside from RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN!) All together the controls are a masterpiece. Hopefully with this Arcade push and the new NewHome version coming some of the longstanding iOS bugs will finally be fixed...? In particular, I get very frustrated by the on-screen joystick problem where it doesn't block the tap action on the screen behind the joystick control, which makes movement impossible when, eg, holding a torch near trees. (Tip for new players: just don't enable the joystick. It will only lead to tragic nighttime forest death. But this one is surprisingly solid. There’s a major bug I’ve been getting recently that’s just kinda crappy - after some minutes in the game, my map stops zooming or rotating when I try to do so. ✓ Great Game…But not QuiteThe game is amazing bright Future ahead. Their are some things about the game I dislike. for starters, the game doesn’t have the new graphic like Console and PC has. If you have played the PC or Console version they get amazing updates 1. The water is completely revamped 2. Graphic are better 3. Don’t Starve Together allows for Multiplayer 4. Controls are better The Pocket Edition should receive all of these. The water needs to be changed to the new version like on PC and Console. Graphic needs to be updated, Don’t Starve Together should be integrated into the Pocket Edition so we can have multiplayer on this version to, and finally controls are extremely broken and don’t work well. Whether your tapping the screen to move or using the virtual move stick their are extremely broken and need to be fixed. ✓ Great game BUT..This game is literally so fun. Each character has special abilities and cool styles and weird traits overall good and smooth. And it requires no wifi to play!! Anyhow when I first joined the game it was so cool very smooth and everything but as I created my first world it gave me an option to equip reign of giants. Which I didn’t because I wanted to see the classic before I tried reign of giants. Time went on and I got curious so one day I equipped it. Its great and all even better with so much more fun options in the game (as there is already a lot in the classic) and still very smooth but.. theres a problem I cant figure out. Gold. You need it to build a science machine to unlock basically everything. I cant find any. Where there would usually be gold in the boulders/rocks there is no longer gold. I dont really know any other way other than maybe loot graves and ect, but even after trying research on this I cant find anything. Kinda ridiculous to have to research something like that but even if I did find out the anwer, is there a way to unequip reign of giants?? However with touch controls the reactions aren’t as fast, and that definitely causes problems with combat. It’s also super easy to hit the wrong button, or simply not hit any button at all. Which is pretty self explanatory that it’d cause problems, especially when you’re in a time sensitive situation.
